• Giuseppe (2/5): Istanbul è una città che colpisce subito: un intreccio unico di storia, cultura e vita moderna. - La posizione dell’hotel è l’unico vero punto a favore: si trova vicino alla metro e al tram, quindi gli spostamenti sono comodi. Il mio soggiorno in questo hotel è stato estremamente deludente sotto ogni aspetto. La stanza presentava problemi evidenti: porta della doccia rotta, muffa nel bagno, infiltrazioni sul soffitto e un generale stato di trascuratezza. Nonostante il condizionatore fosse acceso, la camera rimaneva fredda, rendendo impossibile riposare in modo confortevole. Le finestre non isolano minimamente: è come non averle. Si sente ogni rumore provenire dalla strada, e ho scoperto che tutte le camere affacciate sulla strada hanno lo stesso problema, mentre quelle interne presentano comunque muffa e umidità. Un altro aspetto molto spiacevole è stato il comportamento del proprietario, che pretendeva il pagamento esclusivamente in contanti, senza fornire spiegazioni chiare. Un dettaglio che, unito alle condizioni della struttura, lascia davvero perplessi. Anche le aree comuni e l’ingresso dell’hotel sono in pessime condizioni: muri rovinati, scale sporche, insegne trascurate e un aspetto generale che trasmette abbandono. Per il prezzo richiesto mi aspettavo almeno pulizia, comfort e professionalità. Purtroppo non posso consigliare questo hotel: le condizioni reali sono ben lontane da quelle pubblicizzate e l’esperienza complessiva è stata decisamente negativa. Le foto su booking sono forvianti.

Friendly and welcoming staff who made your stay comfortable. Fast and smooth check-in and check-out process. Clean and well-maintained rooms. Comfortable bed that ensured restful sleep. Reliable Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Good value for the price. The area can be noisy at times. The presence of stairs without an escalator made access less convenient. The staff assisted with the bags, which made a positive difference.

• Ivet (6/5): - The location was 10/10. The guy on the reception was very nice. I made reservation for a room without a balcony but with a large window. We ended up with a room on the last floor with balcony but the ceiling was descending and made it uncomfortable combined with the higher sections in the bathroom and around the bed. The room wasn't what I excepted and what was showed in the pictures. Also the windows had zero sound isolation so it didn't really matter if I close or open the window.

• Daniel (9/5): Would stay here again 100% - I was not sure what to expect since the price was on the cheap side, but the room was perfect and very clean. The bathroom was larger than most of the small hotels I’ve been to which is great as I am 190cm. Location is extremely convenient for everything. The only downside is there is no elevator, but that’s not a big deal for me.

• luc-denis (10/5): Budget, confortable, friendly and honest staff ✌️ - We had a great stay - as a budget option it was perfect for us. Yaşar is a nice, honest guy and offered us tea and asked if we ever needed anything to contact him. Location was great, we walked everywhere but the public transport options are nearby and easy to access. We stayed three nights and would recommend to anyone who wants a good budget option in this area. Complaints I read about noise were interesting, you’re in a city so I don’t know why some guests are surprised. It also wasn’t that noisy for us? We had the balcony room so you had to take stairs to the fourth floor but it was nice to see the birds and the sky. Wifi was on the back of our door, check out was simple. Also know! Booking.com is banned in Türkiye so you will be asked to pay when you arrive with card or cash. I was confused at this but realised this is how it is My only recommendation would to be to have some coffee sachets (nestle) in the rooms so we can have coffee with the kettle. But I’m sure if I asked Yaşar he would’ve offered me some :)

• Lena (10/5): LOW PRICE, GOOD SERVICE Don't expect a Hilton at this price - I booked a one-day stay at the hotel. I liked it so much that I stayed for another five days. The location is fantastic, just a minute from the metro and tram lines and within walking distance of all the tourist attractions. It's truly impossible to find a hotel like this for this price. I recommend it to everyone. As a woman, I stayed in a truly safe hotel. Erdoğan was very helpful and responsive to all my questions. I will definitely be back. There is no elevator, but this is already written in booking.com.

Комната была большая, чистая, тёплая, со всеми удобствами. Матрац на кровати был очень удобный. Вид из окна на улицу. Улица спокойная, полная магазинов и ресторанов. Комната убиралась каждый день, менялись полотенца, тапочки и др. необходимые вещи. В комнате есть холодильник, телевизор, электрочайник, шкафы, тумбочки. В 2-х минутах ходьбы - метро, в 4-х минутах - трамвай T1, автобусы. Очень близко ко всем достпримечательностям города. Рядом с отелем - торговый центр Laleli Galeria, где продают за хорошие цены кожу, текстиль и т.д. Администратор отеля Эрдоган - очень хороший человек, относится к гостям с большим уважением. Мы остались очень довольны сервисом в отеле.

• Olena (2/5): Номера с панорамными окнами не для сна. - Приветливый персонал, все рассказали, показали, предложили чай, кофе, разрешили оставить чемоданы до заселения, так как мы приехали раньше времени заселения, в номере было чисто, постельное бельё чистое, но полотенца уже подустали. Не понравилось то, что в течение двух ночей, мне практически не удалось поспать. Начну с того, что у нас был ранний вылет в Стамбул, поэтому мы почти не спали накануне поездки. Но в первую ночь в отеле поспать не удалось, несмотря на усталость. Напротив находится другая гостиница и ресторан, где динамик с музыкой направлен на улицу, и эта музыка грохочет всю ночь. Заснуть под такой аккомпанемент не представляется возможным, потому что стекла в панорамном окне очень тонкие, через них слышно даже просто разговоры на улице. Если вам всё таки удастся заснуть под утро, то утром приедет мусоровоз за мусором, водитель который играет в тетрис мусорным контейнером и никак не может попасть этим контейнером в предназначенное для него место. И это громко... очень громко. Мы промучались две ночи, я надеялась, что в понедельник музыки не будет, но сотрудники отеля сказали, что это происходит каждый день и они ничего не могут сделать, предложили другой номер. Но как они мне объяснили при заселении, что номера, которые выходят по двор(где возможно потише), номера для курящих, а и я, и муж не переносим табачного дыма. Поэтому мы забронировали другой отель и переселились туда, чтобы иметь возможность поспать. Мы люди немолодые и нам важен отдых, а не развлечения. К персоналу претензий нет, они отлично выполняют свою работу.

We got a room (402) 4th floor with kitchenette and balcony with table and chairs, shower with dry hair. Good price/commodity. Staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. The receptionist (Erdogan) very helpful gentleman have taken care of our luggage during check-in and checkout. We highly appreciate his help. Narrow Stairs and brupt. Older should not exceed the 1st floor. Not enough insonorisation to stop noisy music late the night from around lounge especially the weekend.

• Maria (8/5): Great location, nice room, the kindest staff - Location is great, close to the Metro and to the main attraction. Room was clean and almost new. The staff was always extremely friendly and available, delicious Turkish coffee :) I would recomend this place much specially because of the location and kindness of the staff. The stairs were not a problem for me (I was on the 3rd floor and also the staff helped me with the bags when I arrived and when I left, very kind of them, thank you!) but be aware that there is no lift. Unfortunatly it was very dificult for me to sleep due to the noise that comes from the street (trafic, people on the street, at every hour) even when I dont have a light sleep. It is not Kings Hotel fault but maybe investing in better noise insulated windows would be a good idea. This is the only reason why I would not stay there again, because all the rest was really good!

• Mark (10/5): istanbul - long time gone - Owner was very helpful from the moment we booked. He arranged transfers and a taxi on the return day. Room cleaned everyday if required - or not if you fancy a lay in... Location was perfect for us as it was on the Asian side, so was more 'local' and perfect for what we wanted to experience. Amazing food in and around the area too, aswel as a local supermarket. Highly recommend and will be back next year Absolutely nothing. Perfect if youre happy with a budget stay.

• Abdelghani (10/5): Amazing - I found this hotel on booking and it was the first time I went to turkey, and it was absolutely amazing. Getting to the hotel was easy because of the subway from airport to the hotel. The hotel location was great, 2 minutes from subway, 3 minutes from tramway, secure place, and you can walk to Beyazit, Sultanahmet. The host Erdogan was helpful. The room was just like in the photos, and cleaning service was available. I would definitely go back to this hotel if I go back to Istanbul. The music in the restaurant beside , but it stops at midnight

• Natali (9/5): Amenities could be better, but it's cozy, hospitable and central - - The host is very friendly and helpful! if you wish to change your room for some reason, or need something like an iron or a kettle, you can request it with no problem. Honestly, it was the hospitality that kept us prolonging our stay. - Close to subway. Walking distance from many tourist places. - The balcony was a lovely bonus. The view was great! - Good water pressure. - No regular grocery shops within 1km, so expect to pay triple for any basic snack/water/tea pack etc at the overpriced tourist ones. - The cleaning service is daily, but it doesn't extend to certain features that desperately need it, e.g. dirty carpets. - We've stayed in two different rooms. The balcony one costs as much as the one with panoramic windows, but is definitely much better value for money. In the panoramic windows one said windows did not open, and the bathroom had a hole in the wall for ventilation, so the only way to get some fresh air was to use AC constantly. - No warm blankets, you get one thin sheet per bed. - Few amenities, so cooking is limited to drinking small tea cups. - In the panoramic window room the shower pressure is insane. It's so strong that the shower hose simply doesn't stay in place and sprays the entire room if you fully turn it on. Go for 1/3 of the available pressure and don't change the temperature mid shower if you want it to stay in place and not wet the entire bathroom. - Loud discos in nearby buildings till 3 A.M. or so, but that's typical for the area.

• Ali (9/5): Lovely and above expectations - Excellent location. Hotel manager Mr. Erdoğa was very helpful and available to support when needed. Have a small but nice and useful kitchen. Toilet was very clean despite being a bit small. Shower excellent. For its price, it’s a good value for money. Would stay there again as long as they don’t bring the prices up :-) Perhaps adding few more amenities like a safe and a microwave… but not a big deal

• Eleonora (10/5): It was ok. - Mr. Erdogan was very nice. , helped us a lot with the accommodation, with finding the parking place. very helpful, always with a smile on his face. I was in Istanbul on May 1st when there were protests and the police relocated our car to another parking lot and Mr. Erdogan helped us recover it. the room was very spacious, clean and bright. Although the stay was between April 29 and May 3, I was warm in the room. it was very comfortable. we will definitely come back, thanks to Mr. Erdogan from King Hotel Istanbul.
• Mihaela (7/5): Interesting experience - It’s a nice experience with the big window and a really nice bathroom. The bad is comfortable and you can see a little bit of the sunset just laying in bad. It’s a supermarket across the street and the location is great, with multiple restaurants and near the metro and tram. The overall experience was nice and the staff was really nice and helpful. I didn’t like the big poster on the window, even if you can see through it, it still looks bad and you can’t see clearly. Also the cracked wall in the bathroom is really bad because the smell goes into the room. The room is noisy and it’s difficult to sleep.
