Therefore, if someone take the only one available by mistake, you will not be able to enter to the building. It is not fun when you are tired and just want to get in for rest.

- Dawn (7/5): Nice accomodation but shame about the neighbours. - The location is great and the rooms are nice as shown in the photos. The beds were comfy enough, but the pillows were not to my liking one being too low and using two being too high. We requested a transfer from the airport and he was waiting for us when we arrived. We only received the check in code on the day of arrival after asking. Unfortunately, we found the room to be very noisy! The person below has their TV on very loudly until the early hours and if you have windows open you also have to contend with noise from the vicinty starting at 6am.

- Damaris (10/5): Beste Lage in der Altstadt, sauber, ohne viel Treppen erreichbar - Die Lage ist perfekt. Es müssen keine langen Treppen rauf gelaufen werden. Praktisch um zwischendurch mal auf s WC oder etwas abzuladen weil es so Zentral ist. Nahe an der (Hauptstrasse, unbefahren) in der Altstadt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Tee/Kaffee konnte gekocht werden. Pflegemittel, Tücher alles war vorhanden. Würde es zu 100% weiter empfehlen. TIPP: Shuttlebus (https://platanus.hr/dubrovnik-airport-shuttle/) hin und retour für 15E. Fährt immer wenn ein Flug ankommt. Achtung! der Shuttlebus fährt oben bei der Seilbahn zurück zum Flughafen nicht unten beim Tor wo er ankommt! Der Fahrplan für die Rückfahrt ist gegenüber der Bushaltestelle (örtlicher Bus) bei der Seilbahn. TIPP: Mit den Getränken wird in der Altstadt Geld gemacht. 2.5dl Cola können bis 6E sein! Also nicht nur die Preise der Speisen anschauen. Ausserhalb des Stadttores wo der Shuttlebus ankommt gibt es eine Bäckerei und einen Einkaufsladen die sind VIEL günstiger als in der Altstadt selber! TIPP: Hoff on/off Tour von 1.5h. Bringt euch zu einer grossen Brücke (Foto Stopp) und zu 2 Aussichtspunkten. So kann die Stadt gut von oben herab fotografiert werden und das Geld für Seilbahn 40E und Stadtmauer 40E kann gespart werden. Wenn ihr gerne in Museums geht gibt es ein Ticket wo mehrere Sachen inbegriffen sind. TIPP: Ausflug nach Mostar (Bosnien-Herzegowina) (die Preise sind so viel günstiger! z.b Magnet 1E statt 4-5E, Cashmere Schal 10E) wunderschöne Altstadt und danach zu den Wasserfällen! Eine Reise Wert. Die Getränke Preise! Im Restaurant für 2.5dl Cola 4.50-6E bezahlt. Ein Magnet ist um die 5E auch ein stolzer Preis.
- Petra (9/5): Ruhige Unterkunft mitten in der Altstadt - Ein wunderschönes Schlafzimmer mit Vorraum, der wie ein kleines Wohnzimmer war. Das Badezimmer ist wirklich luxeriös, groß und mit zwei Waschbecken. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage in der Altstadt war perfekt, ruhig, aber eben mittendrin. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Betreuung durch den Gastgeber per WahtsApp war auch super. Ich würde es weiter empfehlen. Die Ausstattung mit Kaffeemaschine und Gläsern könnte besser sein, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.

- Gisela (9/5): A surprisingly delightful stay - When I first arrived at the building where Palacio Celeste is located, I honestly thought I might have made the wrong choice—the entrance is a bit dark and feels somewhat deserted. However, once I reached the second floor where the property is, and saw the common area and my room, I immediately knew I had chosen well. The room is spacious, with a simple yet elegant and cozy décor that makes you feel comfortable right away. The location is unbeatable, right in the Old Town, just a short walk from Pile Gate and surrounded by great restaurants, bars, and shops. Vicko, the host, was incredibly attentive throughout my stay and provided excellent tips about the city, which made the experience even better. The only thing is that you have to climb stairs, but that’s typical in the Old Town!

- Ana Teresa (8/5): A charming stay in a great location, with some drawbacks in accessibility and room size. - The location was excellent, right inside the castle. However, although the accommodation is easy to find, access can be difficult for those carrying luggage, as there are several flights of stairs. The accommodation was very charming; however, we had to climb more stairs to reach the room. The room was smaller than I expected and not exactly like what I had seen on Booking. It was pleasant and clean, with a large and comfortable bathroom, and a very comfortable bed, but it was quite small to share with another colleague.

- Irmak (10/5): - The staff was very good. And the location is perfect if you’d like to stay in old town. The main door may be locked. Do not lose your keys and the room was a but small.
- Valentina (10/5): Very nice accommodation - The apartment is ideally located just steps from the main street of the Old Town (Stradun), placing all major sights, restaurants, and shops within easy walking distance. Communication with the host was smooth and effortless—Vicko was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We were even pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade after another guest canceled at short notice. The interior is modern and tastefully designed, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was cleaned properly. With the windows closed, we couldn’t hear any noise from outside, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. I would absolutely recommend staying here! Please note that there are quite a few stairs leading up to the apartments. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if you have difficulty with stairs or limited mobility, it’s something to keep in mind.

- Jaka (8/5): - Apartman se nalazi u samom centru grada. Krevet je bio udoban. Kupaonica je prostrana. Pegla za robu je bila odlična. Koristili smo se samo apartmanom, nismo se koristili zajedničkim prostorijama u kojima su boravili druge osobe koje su unajmile apartman od istih vlasnika. Nije mi se svidjelo što se sve čulo u apartmanu. Ne mislim na vanjsku buku, nego na korake, priču i ostale stvari od drugih stanara koji su bili u apartmanima. Smrad na mačji izmet na ulazu u zgradu je nepodnošljiv. Bilo bi korisno kad bi za apartman dobili dva ključa za ulazna vrata u zgradu i u apartman.

No steps leading to the place but there are a few steps reaching to the rooms. Be aware. Beds are comfy. Room is cute. The place has small windows so little light and quite dark. No views from windows.

- Vera (8/5): Charming and Cozy - The rooms in the apartment are charming, cozy, and clean. We were there during winter, and rooms were warm enough. There are 4 rooms in the apartment, 2 rooms on each floor. The location is superb, right next to the Stradun. I felt safe in the area too. There was mismatch between what the host communicated during booking and what I received. I booked 2 rooms, and requested for connecting rooms (at that time, I was not aware of the room configuration) and was told they did not have them. The host said that one room would be upgraded instead, and the rooms would be opposite each other, but in the end we were placed on different floors. When asked, the host just said this could not be changed, as all guests had already checked in. Sharing this so that future guests can manage their expectations.

The bathroom and hot water were excellent, and they even had a little discount to a café waiting for us. The AC and heating worked perfectly as well. And there’s Wi-Fi. I think what is also excellent about this place is the coordinator, Vicko! He was a really good communicator and was very helpful with our entire stay. Would definitely book with him again. Nothing. It was a great place to stay.

Due to it's location parking is challenging.

The place was very clean and bed was super comfortable I slept like a baby. The only thing that bothered me was the shower water. You have hot water for exactly 10 minutes after that it turns cold. It’s not enough for my opinion. Also in our room there was a roof leak so there is that.

The apartment is very well decorated. Bathroom is very nice and is quite large. We had a really nice time staying Palacio. Celeste. Service was exceptional organizing transport from and to the airport, providing restaurant recommendations. Great experience overall. Nothing really to add here.

- vichaya (10/5): - The apartment is located in center of dubrovnik old town and everything is within few minutes walking distance. The owner is fast to respond to whatsapp messages and the information of the apartment was shared before checking in. One thing to note, if you come by Uber, ensure that the Uber will drop you at Pile gate to avoid the stairs. The only concern for us is the internet connection. It is quite slow in our room and the connection went off so many times. We had contacted the owner which he has tried to contact the internet provider to fix the issue but still the internet connection is not good. Last thing to add which i highly appreciate is the TV with Netflix. We had a great Netflix time at night after spending full day exploring the city.

Location is unbeatable, but without the noise of the streets which we really appreciated. Very clean and great interior design. Just be mindful that if you take long showers you might run out of hot water, but nothing to really worry about. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would gladly stay here again! - Adrian (9/5): Great little apartment - Perfect location central in the old town. Toiletries and anything you need is available in the lobby at any time. We had a small problem with the shower as it drained very slowly and overflowed one day.

- Sharon (9/5): Very comfortable in an Ideal location in the city center, but no lift. - This property is ideally located in the historical center for everything you would want to do or see in Dubrovnik. Despite being in a busy area right off the main street, it was quiet and great for sleeping. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the large bathroom with walk-in shower was a welcome surprise. I had already booked the room when I learned from some other reviews that there is no elevator and you must carry your bags up several flights of stairs. We would still have taken the room for the location and amenities, but this information should be displayed more prominently in the description. Some travelers may have more difficulty with this than we did.

Elle dispose de toutes les commodités nécessaires, avec même un petit réfrigérateur à disposition. La literie est très confortable, la décoration est jolie et l’appartement est bien situé. Le seul bémol concerne le hall d’entrée, qui est assez vétuste et ne reflète pas la qualité de la chambre.

- Joanne (10/5): - This was in the perfect location in Old Town Dubrovnic. It was quiet, very safe, clean and convenient. It was walkable to everything such as shops, great dining, bakeries and the local sights in Dubrovnic.
- Michael (10/5): Palacio Celeste - Great apartment option located centrally in the Old Town - Great location in Old Town. The apartment was centrally located in the old town and easily walkable to all major attractions. The apartment was immaculate and in great conditions. Our host was super responsive and very helpful with recommendations. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this apartment. Need to take quick showers as there is limited hot water

- Stephane (5/5): Juste ok... - L'emplacement. 37 marchés à monter avec de grosses valises si le niveau du sol est le 1er on parle d'un 3e étage, la porte est ouverte les clefs sont dans le appartement, lit petit et inconfortable, douche du plafond qui coule tout croche , 2 serviettes pour 3 jours faut demander pour d'autres, prise de courant de la salle de bain non fonctionnelle , les 2 télévisions réglés a quelques postes locales , très très petit frigo , entrée salle et qui sent le pipi de chat , odeur nauséabonde, grande noirceur le matin de notre départ ma femme à faillit se casser la seule , lumière éteinte, il faut remonter laisser les clefs dans la chambre donc la porte reste ouverte. Après tout ça on nous remercient et on nous demande de laisser une évaluation favorable ? C'était juste ok sans plus.Bref attitude douteuse de la propriétaire...
- Merlene (9/5): We wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend visiting Dubrovnik in general and Palacio Celeste in particular - Excellent location. Modern amenities, crisp and clean bedding and towels. The host was wonderful and allowed us to store our luggage until late afternoon on check-out day. The only thing that we didn’t like was the smell at the entryway of the apartment building due to cats living there, but we managed to hold our breath until we could reach author the room or the outside!
- Lee (8/5): Nice room in a great location - The room was very clean and contemporary, and the bathroom was bigger than we have seen elsewhere in Croatia. We were given access to the room earlier than the standard check in time, which was much appreciated. The street photos showing how to find the accommodation were useful. The room was quiet even with its very central location. Quiet aircom too. The shared building foyer is pretty grubby. We booked and used the pull out bed; the mattress was not well supported due to some broken slats; this was not fixed despite our request.

- Rachael (10/5): The perfect stay in Dubrovnik! - Palacio Celeste heartily prepared us for our first trip to Dubrovnik. They ensured that we could easily check in as soon as we arrived, and offered to arrange for our airport transport too. The location is stellar, with easy access to the sites, the restaurants, and the shops. Our space was exactly as advertised, a clean, nicely decorated, well appointed room. We had a divine sleep with literally no noise, a comfortable bed, and our bath was stylish with nice amenities. Thank you for an excellent stay!

- Michael (10/5): Super cute and clean, wonderful central location without the chaos & noise that often comes along with close proximi - Easy accessibility only a block off Stradun but without the noise. Super cute shared entryway, immaculately clean, tidy room & bath, well-decorated. I’d definitely recommend it to friends & family! Building stairway to access the property was a little cluttered but I know this is out of their control with a shared building. No worries!
- Guy (8/5): One night; not cheap but reasonable value; would book again. - No restaurant hence no breakfast. Excellent location, easy to walk to airport bus stop (up by the funicular base). Quite a few stairs, but we knew this. Good air-con, excellent shower, very clean. Nil

Had everything we needed for our two nights in Dubrovnik. Vicki was very helpful with easy check in and check out instructions. The room was spotlessly clean and we appreciated the hair dryer, coffee station, amazing shower and excellent air conditioning. We loved our stay here! Would definitely stay again. Everything was wonderful. Something to note is that the apartment is on the second floor, so you need to be able to carry your suitcase/bags up a few flights of stairs.
- Yehuda (6/5): A nice room in an apartment. Building entrance leaves a lot to be desired. - The room was nice (but small) and well maintained The location is great - in the heart of the old city. Booking.com message referred to this property as hotel on a second floor (for the Americans- this is 2 flights up). However, this is one apartment in a building that was converted to a few separate rooms, and ours was on a third floor. The building’s entrance is open all the time, has extraneous articles and street cats. Getting to it was a challenge for older people. The manager neglected to inform us of an easier gate to get into the city so we had to drag our luggage through about 70 stairs just to get to the building and then to climb 3 more flights (there is a close by gate with no stairs) Instead of apologizing, the manager put the responsibility on us, saying “it was all in the automated email that you received”. It wasn’t. So while the room was nice and clean, our experience was lacking.
