- Gabriel (4/5): A huge dissatisfaction and disappointment - The location is excelent Definitely not worth the money we paid for the stay in the villa. It was a huge disappointment, compared what we experienced 1,5 years ago. The service and food in barro cocina is a disaster, have to ask for basics, it’s not service and food expected in that price level. Difficult to understand the michelin guide star, it’s in every promo, tye disappointing experience whit that restaurant. Not even mention one night without water in the villa.

- robert (5/5): Beautiful setting but fell short for a Michelin rating. - Beautiful setting. Staff was friendly and Luca the dog was a bonus. Matias created an itinerary to make our stay more enjoyable. Sewage odor both in the room and the restaurant. We requested transfer to airport and the car sent was not sufficient for 4 people and luggage. This resort falls far short of a Michelin 5 star level. Staff is not trained for customer service other than Matias. In addition fruits, cheese and nuts that are laid out for breakfast are not easily accessible.

Some of the villas have awning to protect the sitting area (terrasse with pool, couch and chairs) some don’t, a bit weird when you have a villa that do not have it, impossible to sit outside in the afternoon due to the direct sun (it is like an oven… we were there in February). It detract of the idea to rent a villa with a terrasse and a pool…

Renzo and Mattias are so helpful and warm that you truly feel at home. The breakfast was also great I’m nitpicking, the only detractor is the road to get there, once you leave the highway. It’s a typical regional dirt road but it’s a long one. It would be handy to have a decent car for the trip

- Marie-pier (8/5): Very good - amazing view or vineyards and mountain in the distance. Cute and comfortable facilities. Relaxing location for time off the city. Amazing breakfast and varieties of options. Pretty isolated, if you don’t have a car, the transport arrangements they offer are way overpriced to the usual Uber/taxi cost in the area (and lack of other option leave you stuck to pay the scam price). (“Dirt road”, I paid $12 Uber to get there, and they asked 50$ to get out with their “contact” driver). I recommend the establishment to find other options for drivers and bring price to the range of Mendoza. Limited food options. I contacted earlier in the day the hotel to ask for reservations at their restaurant and got no answer back. Once there, learnt the nearby resto was full and got stuck to eat the “room service” options. Good tasty food, but limited options, and $12 an empanada is off the chart for Mendoza region. For same price we would have got wine pairing 6 courses meal..

Transportation service within the resort. some infrastructure is not ready yet, gardening still being done. Biggest lack is a restaurant for dinner. There is the nearby Boher Rosell hotel as good dinner option, but at some nights they don't accept external guests and an alternative restaurant is 45 minutes away. Room service good quality but prices exaggerated, especially as they don't offer restaurant service. No pool

- Shelly (10/5): When you are at Chozos Resort you are treated to best service. - Everyone we encounter was friendly and we appreciated the fact that they spoke English, because our Spanish is very bad! We showed up before check-in and were greeted with a glass of wine, and then we were able to relax on the patio while they delivered our luggage to our room along with a bottle of wine. The staff made sure everything was taken care of on the trip...they scheduled our tours of wineries, made dinner reservations, and booked all the transportation we needed. They showed us around and we were able to bike or walk around the entire property, and anytime we needed something it was quickly done. Everything was great!

It is very far from any facility with 4km non-paved road to access. Recommend to rent a car. The restaurant facilities are far from the chozos, long walk that can be uncomfortable in bad weather.

- Joellyn (8/5): loved loved loved this place and the service team. but, still experiencing teething problems. - this is an extraordinary property with amazing staff and amazing attention to detail. the design of the bathrooms is problematic - the level of the wet room style isn’t angled properly, causing water from the shower to pour out across the bathroom and into the bedroom. this is a shame as it’s beautifully done. but the design flaw has to be fixed to avoid others having to sponge up all the water from the bedroom carpet and bedside, wasting valuable time for relaxation and wine tasting!

While it currently does not have a running restaurant and some facilities are not yet fully operational, this could be considered a drawback. However, it remains a fantastic destination for relaxation and enjoying the breathtaking views. - Mike (8/5): beautifully designed and decorated hotel with all key amenities and an exceptional and attentive staff - great views. clean and new rooms. fantastically decorated. all amenities working well. great wifi considering the remoteness. overall really fantastic new property some very small details to fix. the biggest downside was the rough road between the route 86 and the hotel for about 4 Km. however great credit to the property manager notifying me in advance so o could take an alternate route. very very hard to find some negative things about this property. breakfast could be a little better
- Christopher (10/5): - This by far has been the most well designed and high end hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The Chozos Resort has paid a lot of attention to the most minute detail of immaculate architecture & design, and it's evident. I stayed in the Glam Camp, which a had ‘igloo’ styled formation, with floor to ceiling views of the Andes mountains on the Dragonback Wine Estate. The service I received from both Javier, the General Manager, and Deborah, the concierge attendant, was top tier. I do, however, want to be transparent about visiting this place, as the following items can potentially be drawbacks of the property in its current state (March 2023): 1: Location - The property is extremely far from the airport and city center (approx 1h, 10 min). You should rent a car to come here. There currently are no walking options for food, drink, shopping, store, etc. The closest taxi are approx 40 away. If you don’t rent a car, you will likely feel a bit stranded. 2: No restaurant currently on site - The property will eventually have an onsite restaurant. Because it is still being constructed, you will need to leave the site for food, should you not want the in room service. 3: It’s very new - The property is in the very early stages of development. There will be kinks as it may related to customer service, progresses, structure, communication, etc. All in all, I do not regret my choice of staying at this beautiful property located in Malbec wine country 🍷 🇦🇷 ⛰️
- Christian (6/5): nice villas and Team, But with cheap details - the Team is excellent, very friendly and helpful. the layout and design of the villas is stunning. the equipment of the villas is sometimes cheap- blinds falling off in the shower after a year, wall paint on oak doors, corrugated iron tiles on the veranda, paint coming off in the Pool and the Veranda etc. give it a cheap finish. also the breakfast is a joke given the price tag (Even no orange juice, eggs etc.).

- Caroline (8/5): Lindo, mas o serviço deixa a desejar. - O Chozo é absolutamente lindo. As vilas têm uma decoração perfeita, são muito bem equipadas (cozinha, máquina de café, louças). A parte que me decepcionou foi o serviço: o café da manhã é ruim. Ruim mesmo. Éramos 4 hóspedes e nos serviram café, leite, 2 croissants, 4 pães, um pratinho com queijo parmesão e salame e um bowl de frutas. Pedi ovos, não tinha. Suco, não tinha. Não há restaurante, nem cozinha. Se você precisar comer um misto, não vai ter. Sem contar que ninguém te recebe na chegada (ainda não há recepção) e você fica com as malas rodando o hotel inteiro até achar alguém pra te orientar. E não menos importante: a piscina não é aquecida. Simplesmente em 80% do ano, Mendoza é muito frio. É impossível usar a piscina por causa da temperatura da água, então é só um belo enfeite. No mais, o lugar é realmente muito bonito. Parece que você está em um filme.
- Thiago (8/5): Ótimo lugar e conforto - Lugar lindo, com muito conforto e bom atendimento. Único contra é que os preços de comidas ou serviços extras são todos em dollar, então o valor acaba sendo alto.
- Ignacio (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, quality finishes in the architecture. Remarkable breakfast. "In construction" project, common areas with services (like restaurant or spa) should be included in the near future. E big swimming pool would make the difference.
