- Hayley (9/5): The team were helpful and respectful and made sure we had everything we needed - Property was in an excellent location, very well connected and had everything we could have asked for. The team were very kind and have a very helpful phone team you can call if anything comes up. The only issue we encountered was, a few broken electrical outlets in the smaller bedroom but we just charged devices elsewhere in the property, very easy solution

Burde ha vært et stort og et lite håndkle til hver pluss et ekstra på hvert bad for å stå på etter dusjing! - Litt for lite tallerkner, glass osv for seks personer! - Ingenting å tørke opp med på bord og benker - Vi var lovet å komme inn kl 12, men de som bodde der, hadde ikke dratt enda da! Derfor var den personen som kom med nøklene og hun som vasket, veldig fortvilet! Da vi endelig kunne komme inn, var det rent og pent!

We arrived at the apartment in the evening after a full day of travelling. When we got there, there were only 4 towels available even though there were 9 guests staying in the apartment. After such a long trip we couldn’t even take a shower and had to go to bed tired and sweaty. After contacting the host, we received the additional towels only the next day shortly before 11 a.m., which is unacceptable for such a basic necessity. Although the apartment looked cleaned at first glance, we found two sewing needles on the floor, which could also be dangerous. Our socks were dirty after walking around the apartment. The beds are in poor condition – on two beds the headboards were not properly attached to the bed frame. Same with the kitchen - poor condition. Another big issue was the noise from the street. The windows do not block sound at all, and the street is very loud at night. We were repeatedly woken up by police and ambulance sirens and by people drinking and making noise outside. When we complained, the host offered a 10% discount for a future stay, which is not an acceptable solution. After this experience, we definitely would not stay here again. Overall, a very poor experience and not what we expected.

Al llegar al apartamento encontramos chinches en la cama, algo totalmente inaceptable desde el punto de vista de higiene. Nadie debería tener que encontrarse con una situación así en un alojamiento. Evidentemente no pudimos quedarnos allí y tuvimos que buscar otro alojamiento de urgencia, con el estrés que eso supone estando de viaje y teniendo que gastar más dinero a última hora. Pero lo peor fue la actitud del alojamiento. Nos dijeron que si entregábamos las llaves nos harían el reembolso completo. Confiamos en lo que nos dijeron, dejamos el apartamento y en cuanto entregamos las llaves cancelaron el reembolso. Nos sentimos engañados. Primero un problema gravísimo de higiene y después una promesa que no cumplieron. Sinceramente, tened muchísimo cuidado antes de reservar aquí. Nuestra experiencia fue muy mala y desde luego no volveríamos jamás.

- Mandy (1/5): DISGUSTING - absolutly nothing I wish I could give zero stars. My stay here was absolutely horrible. Everything seemed fine at first – until I woke up the second night with itchy bumps all over my arms and legs. After more thorough investigation, it was clear: bed bugs. I had to treat my entire luggage to avoid bringing this pest home with me. The stress and itching were unbearable – a vacation is meant to rest, not to literally be eaten. Teniamos que compartir la fregona con el inquilino del lado. Restos de comida en la escalera de servicio, La ducha de la habitacion estaba embozada y salia el agua hasta la habitacion de matrimonio. Las luces de la mesita tiene los enchufes rotos. La puerta del lavabo tiene la cerradura rota y no se abre por dentro, con el riesgo de que se queda alguien encerrado a dentro como nos paso. Es un apartamento buen situado, però con muchisimas deficiencias de mantenimiento y limpieza. No repetiremos

Yo lave todas las mantas porque algunas tenían manchas y no pude fregar el suelo porque no había fregona. Creo que lo han descuidado un poco. Ventanas que no cierran bien y rotas…

In general, it completely and absolutely did not correspond to the description and pictures in Booking.com. Definitely not worth the price. We didn't have the clean, tidy apartment that's in the pictures. We had a run-down slum.

La dirección que nos mandaron no era exactamente la del apartamento, por lo que fue difícil encontrarnos con el chico para que nos diera las llaves. Tuvimos que esperarle bastante rato. No está muy cerca del metro. Hacia mucho calor a las noches para dormir. Se atascaron los dos baños.

Nos encontramos una rata saliendo de la basura, estuvimos esperando 2horas a que viniesen y no vino nadie. No pudimos entrar en la cocina en dos días. Al quejarnos a booking.com no nos dieron ninguna solución.

- Sandra (5/5): - La ubicación. Las camas son cómodas. Los apartamentos no se llaman Marble Arch y eso crea confusión con otro de la zona que se llama así. Es muy ruidoso porque las ventanas no son herméticas e incluso había una sin cristal, cerrada con celofán. Está bien decorado pero necesita una reforma. Los baños no tienen enchufes y falta limpieza a fondo.

Loads of hot water, showers were lovely The host frightened us the night we arrived by warning us to make sure to keep the door closed. Didn’t know what to expect It was very noisy, could definitely do with upgrading the windows to keep the sound of the traffic out at night, had to get ear plugs to sleep at night

Niestety, ale apartament nie był czysty. Było dużo kurzu, na podlodze lezaly brudne skarpety gosci, ktorzy wypoczywali tam przed nami, jak rownież inne przedmioty: pudelka po lekach, pomadka itp. Zaslony byly biale od kurzu- generalnego sprzątania nie bylo tam dawno…. a pod lozko nie zagladali chyba od lat Na klatce jak i w mieszkaniu unosił sie nieprzyjemny zapach. W salonie brakowało pościeli, nie bylo tez suszarki do wlosow- wlasciciel pisal, ze ktos nam ja dostarczy jednak tak sie nie stalo. W jeden z łazienek bardzo ruszal sie kran.

- Sara (6/5): - The place is very central and close to most things. There is an elevator there. The apartment wasn't very clean. There was a lot of old cigarette stubs on the balcony, uncollected mail on the table and a feeling the place hadn't been thoroughly cleaned for a while. The code for the front door never worked and the porter had to let us in most days. When putting the address into google maps, it showed a place 3-4 minutes from where the entrance was. I would recommend fixing this as we spent around 30 minutes waiting at the wrong spot for the keys.

Mobile air con unit did not work. Kitchen not equipped for 8 people, nor a single sachet for dishwasher or washing machine. (And did not even provide a sink plug!) Not enough kitchen table chairs for 8. Not advised of tradie coming to fix bathroom tiles. Shop tenants from below advised that water leaking through and do not use main bathroom or toilet. Could have been great, but was worst part of our European holiday.

The sink drains doesn't work well but they fixed a day after. Also water leaks to downstairs restaurant either from toilet or AC and they keep bugging us for the issue and coming in the apartment to check just like that. Not professional. Also, sound is an issue even though well insulated due to main street just outside. They dint have the supplies initially which we had to ask for, but was full filled the next day.

- Tania (1/5): Extremely Disappointed – Serious Bed Bug Infestation - great location Extremely Disappointed – Serious Bed Bug Infestation We stayed at the two-bedroom (two bathroom) apartment managed by Marble Arch Apartments, and unfortunately, our experience was appalling. All three beds (in the one bedroom) were infested with bed bugs. This meant that 5 out of the 7 of us had nowhere to sleep. The infestation was not minor—it was severe, with large clusters of bugs behind all three headboards, indicating a long-standing issue. We contacted Marble Arch Apartments immediately and received nothing more than an apology for the "inconvenience." No alternative arrangements, no assistance, and no offer of compensation were provided. Considering the scale of the infestation, it’s hard to believe the property was not already aware of the problem before renting it out. My daughter was bitten across her entire body, and to make matters worse, the bed bugs were transferred in our belongings to our next destination overseas, compounding the stress and financial burden. This experience was not just inconvenient—it was distressing and unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here to reconsider, and I urge Marble Arch Apartments to take responsibility and address such serious health and hygiene concerns with the urgency they require.
- Linda (9/5): The right place - Clean, comfy, easy access to local amenities and central London. The door leading into the flat could do with painting. It gives that deceitful feel before entering into a lovely spacious flat.
- Carl (10/5): Met Expectations - Everything was as expected and really enjoyed my stay with my 9 friends for the Sunderland Promotion party!!! Lift was available which helped carry the luggage. Spacious , clean and comfortable. I rang the apartment when I was 30 minutes was (as advised prior), and upon arrival we were waiting outside for over an hour to collect the keys and we started to worry. Not a good first impression but this was the only downside.

- Harper (6/5): Pleasant - Good area, close to the tube station and opposite the most beautiful breakfast place - Paul's. A lot of things were falling apart - curtain rail hanging half off the wall in the lounge, windows had large cracks in the bedroom which meant you heard all noise at all hours, what looked like a cigarette burn under the TV, no towels on site even though the photos that advertised the room shows this, no tea towels or clothes, thick build up of mould on the roof of the main shower due to lack of ventilation, the drawer in the bathroom fell out if you touched it as it is completely off the rails. Nothing major but for the price we paid I was expecting it to be in slightly better condition.

- Kierin (2/5): Disappointing in every way. Avoid this place. - Large apartment and 2 bathrooms. Very run down property and furniture. Everything was worn out and shabby and workmanship was appalling. Every wall / floor / ceiling had either holes drilled in it or was covered in large scratches and dirty marks, was discoloured, had mould growing on it, had paint peeling, or wallpaper separating from it. The dining chairs ready for the tip. Lift out of order whole stay (7 flights of stairs with our luggage was hard work). The lift broken sign looked to be months old based on colouring of paper and old tape marks. Only 1 front door building key, even though 4 adults and 1 child on booking, making logistics extremely difficult when we went to different activities at night in London. Requested 2 keys, was promised it and it was never provided and no further explanation or communication given. At the price we paid, it was a huge disappointment.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Excellent apartment with some unacceptable facilities issues for the price. - Excellent location, friendly staff. Lots of beds and plenty of space. Full kitchen. There was an electrical fault inside the apartment. The address on booking.com did not align with the actual location. The lift wasn’t working when we arrived so we had to carry our bags up 3 floors. Thankfully it was fixed before we left.
- Goel (1/5): Worst stay at Marble arch apartments - I did not like anything other than location Honestly, there was nothing other than the location which was good about the apartment. The apartment was in horrible condition and there was no one to respond if we needed anything. I asked for dishwasher which they couldnt provide, asked for heaters control which they couldnt tell. It was like we were living on roads with a shelter on top. Apartment was so poorly maintained that we wanted to exit from day 1 but since they were not agreeing on returning half the amount even we had to stay On the day of our check out which is basically today, the lifts are not working and are on 5th floor with almost 7 big suitcases and 3 kids and 3 prams. Now we do not know how to take the luggage on ground floor and we are just stuck here I would definitely not recommend this property at all to anyone
- Ben (3/5): Poor - Location. It was warm. There was a pervasive bad smell throughout our stay coming from the bathroom. The kitchen facilities were poor (no dishwasher tablets, no plug for the sink, no dishcloth, only 4 forks, no tea towels). The crockery was dirty (mug rings in the mugs). The microwave sparked and shook when we tried to use it. The tv could only show youtube (and that only worked when a member of staff came round and jammed an American 2 pin plug into a british socket). The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. Large amounts of mastic had been used to try to plug gaps. Several lights didn't work. Earplugs needed to get good sleep, with the Edgware road being just outside the large bedroom.

- Alva (8/5): Very good - Location is excellent, communication with agent was responsive and professional. Apartment was cosy and warm for the beautiful but chilly weather. We were very happy coming home to it every night. We stayed for 4 nights. Really it was perfect for us...we had 2 families, one of 5 and one of 3 sharing and it provided us with the space we needed and access to London outside the front door. One thing, it could do with a deep clean vs a surface clean, and some tea towels to dry dishes!

The bedroom on edgeware road is a bit noisy but two other rooms are very quiet. I did have an issue with Marble Arch data security, I had an attempted scam to my email.

Both Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. The bed sheets had hairs on them and the apartment just needs to be painted in places. Also the front door letter hole was freely open and you can see into the apartment . We didn’t notice at first till we hear a noise and realise any one can look in .

- Angelika (3/5): Nice to see London but disappointed with the flat for the price we paid. - Close to the tube station. 2 bathrooms and 3 rooms. There was no toilet paper in the flat. The radiator in the bathroom gave an electric shock when touched. The windows were very dirty, and the surroundings were extremely noisy. Cockroaches were crawling on the floor and bed in the middle of the night. AC was not working. Cleanliness and aesthetics left much to be desired for the price.
- Nicole (6/5): - The best I can say is that the location gave easy access to a couple of tube stations and had a Tesco express across the road. We booked for six of us and when we got there were pretty shocked to find no towels in the place - we finally managed to find two wedged in the sofa bed linen inside the sofa bed. Not sure how long they’d been there…. The whole place reeked of cigarette smoke and was incredibly dusty. Rug was disgusting and there were holes in, and marks on the walls. The washing machine was a rusty mess and frankly, Wotif should be ashamed to list this for the price it does. Three of us had to leave and book a hotel because their asthma couldn’t handle the smokiness. Oh and if you’re silly enough to book this, bring earplugs because emergency vehicles are flying up and down the road at all hours with sirens blaring. In fact, Wotif - I should get money refunded for paying for something that was clearly not what was advertised.
