• Andrea (9/5): - Personál byl velmi milý a vstřícný zejména pan Nelson. Snídaně byly chutné, byli jsme zde na silvestra, měli jsme speciální večeři s gurmánským zážitkem a velmi milou obsluhou. Menší hotel s rodinou atmosférou. Rádi se do hotelu vrátíme. Objednali jsme si pobyt s polopenzí. Každý den jsme dostali na výběr ze stejných čtyřech jídel. Po dvou dnech už děti ani nechtěli večeři. Po domluvě s hotelem nám nakonec vyšli vstříc, že jsme si v uvedené cenoví relaci mohli vybrat jídlo ze standartního jídelního lístku. Docela mě překvapila i záloha 500 euro, přestože byl pobyt celý uhrazený.

• QIAN (1/5): suffocating Chemical Smell - The staff were kind and the hotel is only 6 min walk to the train station -Barcelona Sants The building, the bed are old and have bad smell. To cover the 500 old structure smell. They use unpleasant cleaning chemical to cover the structure rotten smell. The chemical smell is son strong which make chest pain and nausea. You are not able to sleep. I will never recommend this hotel until they completely renovate the building

The breakfast room was well furnished but a bit small and not well separated from the reception.

I originally planned only one night, and only later decided to stay for two. The staff took a bit long to reply to my request, and I ended up paying a higher price for the second night.

• transam2013 (10/5): One of the nicest, cleanest and exceptional staff at this hotel!! - We stayed here for 3 nights before our cruise. The staff was absolutely excellent and we were so happy with their service. The bell hops were more than helpful with tons of information and the desk receptionists were so hospitable and respectful. The service we received in the restaurant was excellent and there to please . Had a great salad and club sandwich the first day. We returned here after our cruise for one more night and the service was the same and they welcomed us back. The hotel is lovely , exceptionally maintained and clean . It has very nice updated bathrooms and the beds are very nice and very comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. The train station is around the corner although we didn’t use it because we prefer taxis it might be helpful to others. The travel from the airport is 30- 40 minutes depending on traffic. About 30 minutes to cruise port. Your close to city center by taxi 10 minutes or train. We highly recommend this Hilton and would come back again if ever in Barcelona. Thank you to all the staff for their exceptional hospitality and kindness.

• 380katherineg (10/5): Perfect property - We arrived early in the morning and were greeted by a woman at the desk and Nelson who were the friendliest people, Nelson carried all of our bags to our room and gave us a thorough tour and explanation of everything. We had the breakfast as part of our package and it was excellent. There is champagne and fresh juices with breakfast, or really good coffee. The neighborhood is very cute and feels safe. Every time we were in the lobby, the entire staff greeted us so warmly. They offer two for one drinks in the lobby in the evenings and they were mixed fabulously. We had a large bathroom which felt like a gift. The hotel has air conditioning in the rooms and it worked well. I recommend this property, it is spacious and attractive with an inviting patio and pool area. I suggest everyone stay here to experience the hospitality that Nelson offered.

The hotel is beautifully renovated, with modern and warm touches. The amenities and rooms are comfortable, quiet, and quite beautiful. The staff also made our stay extra comfortable (Extra Special thanks to Jessica, Nelson, and Ana) and would recommend staying at this hotel if you’d like a place walking distance to the train station.

The rooms are cozy, spotless, and modern exactly what you want after a long day exploring the city. The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of delicious options and truly great coffee (you’ll find great coffee in the rooms as well!). But what really makes this hotel special is the incredible staff. René the bellhop was warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Ana at reception made everything smooth and easy. Jovanna, the bartender and server, is simply the best and friendly, attentive, and always ready with a great drink or recommendation. At breakfast, Noria and Aixa brighten the morning with their kindness and great service. Even the rooftop is adorable and relaxing, and the gym has everything you need for a good workout. The hotel is also very well situated close to everything, making it the perfect base for Barcelona. I recommend Via Santa 100%. Thank you, Dió and Mariana,
• 58willys (10/5): Great Property & Staff!! - I love this hotel, its location, staff and rooms. My son and I were able to make a quick walk with our luggage from the Barcelona Sants station. The entire staff was amazing, attentive, patient, responsive, courteous and helpful. The room and hotel space was very clean and modern. The valet staff and hotel staff even provided me with some personal wine recommendations. All in all, great experience. Big shout out to the entire staff. Thank you!!!

• PL28401 (10/5): Comfortable hotel with amazing staff - Via Sants is a Hilton property close to Barcelona's main train stations and walking distance to many of the sites. We had a king room with a small balcony on the 2nd floor. The room, although a bit small, was spotless, and the bathroom was roomy. Pros: spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable bed, excellent bedside lighting, spacious desk for my laptop, plenty of storage for our bags, nice toiletries and amenity kits, good shower pressure, excellent breakfast buffet (great coffee!) and, most importantly, friendly and helpful staff. I just wish I made a note of everyone's names. We really appreciated the automatic light that come on in the bathroom - just bright enough to facilitate night-time visits but not disruptive. Con: only a small one - it would have been nice to have some kind of bar for towels (there are only hooks), which would allow the towels to dry. The fitness room was small, but very clean and well-equipped. There is a lovely roof-top terrace we visited several times. Shout-out to Anna, the bartender, who introduced us to some delicious Spanish wines. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again the next time we visit Barcelona!

• alanh869 (8/5): elegant minimalist style - The location is good. It is on a quieter street, but close to main streets with lots of activity. The atmosphere is clean and elegant in a minimalistic way. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We arrived early in the day because we had just disembarked a cruise ship. We wanted to spend an extra day in Barcelona. We were able to check in early, and secure our luggage in their lockup. It was too early to get into the room. Then we went sightseeing for the day. We received a text when our room was ready and when we returned later in the afternoon, our luggage had already been moved into our room. The hotel has a small restaurant with a limited menu, but since we had been galivanting all over Barcelona that day we decided to eat in. The food was delicious, large portions, and good value. We require a wheelchair accessible room with a roll in shower. Our room was a bit tight for my wife's wheelchair, but we were able to make due. Some of the furnishings made for quite the obstacle course for her to maneuver. There was a small stool in the bathroom which we had to move out and a chair in the room that we had to stack in the corner. Otherwise she wouldn't have been able to get around. The hallway between the bathroom and the bedroom was almost too tight and narrow for her to be able to turn her chair to get into the bathroom. The fold down seat in the shower was too small to sit on, and this was complicated by the safety handrails in the wrong orientation on the wall which caused her to barely balance on the small seat only on the front half of the seat because the rails were at her back not allowing her access to the full seat. For a person with paralysis, this was frightening.

Close to Metro stations and was a great jumping off station to Sagrada Família, Hospital Sant Pau, the Rambla, Barcelona Cathedral, the Picasso Museum, etc. the hotel is physically a 4 star, the staff, location and size dramatically improve the reasons to stay there.

They helped us navigate some frustrating issues with our tour bookings and gave great food recommendations. Breakfast at the hotel is awesome! Dinner, not so much, but this hotel is in a safe location. The rooms were comfy and great hot water!

They have a limited 2x1 cocktail menu but you can order other drinks at regular cost. The dinner we had was very good and reasonable. While the selection was limited. • BobTraveler10 (6/5): Fair stay, nothing special - I stayed here so I could use my Hilton points but I would not say it was great value (and the price in euros strikes me as excessive). As others have noted, the location of this hotel is not central if you're in Barcelona for sightseeing, but it's conveniently close to the Sants train station and a couple of Metro stops (which you will certainly use and I recommend getting the 10-trip pass). My sleep quality wasn't the best; the bed and especially the pillows were too soft for me. I called and ask if there were other pillows available and was told there was only a foam option that would be just as soft. One morning some random alarm went off at 7am and, while it stopped after abt 30 seconds, no announcements were made but that was a bit unsettling. I skipped breakfast priced at €20 (or €16 if pre-purchased) as for that money I could find options elsewhere. I did not interact with the staff much but they seemed pleasant and acknowledged me whenever I walked past the reception. The rooftop was a nice surprise, so check it out.

• R408KBlunam (8/5): Good not great - I had a mostly good experience. I liked that when I arrived in my room, there were some chocolates, water, and a note for me at the desk. Otherwise, the hotel is pretty standard. Be aware that it's not located in the city center. Had I not had Hilton points to redeem, I would not have paid to stay here because it was pretty expensive per night (~$250/night). Some of the breakfast items could use improvement, the scrambled eggs tasted powdery and some of the pastries were dry. This was disappointing for a 4-star hotel. One of the ladies at the front desk was very nice, though, and offered to refill my giant water bottle with spring water. (The tap water tasted very minerally.) I do think certain members of the staff could be more knowledgeable about things to do/sites to see in Barcelona, offering more suggestions, and were more open to sharing their knowledge of the city. I didn't have any issues with noise or cleanliness of the room. The light in the shower stall would go out occasionally, not sure why...but overall, the lights in the room were sufficient.

They took the time to get to know you, provided excellent recommendations and were always helpful. We especially want to recognize Rene who was quick to order a taxi, handle our luggage for us and share information about the area. Every staff member was remarkable.

• A6199MXmr (10/5): Quaint nice Barcelona Hotel - Enjoyed this Hilton property. Located close to Barcelona Sants train station ( 5-10 minute walk). Nice restaurants are also close (walking or short taxi ride). The staff from the concierge, front desk, kitchen & cleaning personnel were all helpful & professional. Our room was small but functional. Again, the staff is what makes this hotel a nice place to stay. We stayed here for a total of (3) days.
• Mantid55 (10/5): Away from the hustle and bustle...a gem - The Via Sants Hotel Barcelona was very comfortable (awesome beds) and conveniently located. for both the Sants Barcelona train station where we took a train to Valencia and for the car rental for our drive to Girona for a wedding. 3 stays over 12 days. The hotel personnel were all very accommodating and helpful, especially Arantza and Rene! The rooftop terrace and the gym were just right...pleasant and quiet. The restaurants around the hotel reflected the family vibe of the neighborhood, which was not very noisy and La Ramblas, Barceloneta and key museums were short cab rides away. The presence of the La Modelo memorial/museum across the street is a vivid reminder of 100+ years of political/ideological history; a movie was made about it in 2021. I personally found it fascinating and led me to learn more about Catalonian history. The Sants neighborhood has its own thriving food culture worth exploring further.

They each went above and beyond to be helpful and courteous to new visitors to their city. We're Hilton loyalists anyway, but this experience was exceptional.
• Sarah (8/5): Lovely bolt hole near station. - Very convenient location for Barcelona Sants. Lovely and clean, gentleman on reception very welcoming and the porter also . Bathroom excellent and bed comfortable. The breakfast lady was a little rude claiming I must pay for breakfast but it was included. She didn’t apologise when she was wrong.
• S841CKstacyr (8/5): It's the little things that count! - This hotel is all about the little things that make a big deal in comfort. My husband and I travelled to Spain for a vacation and were not disappointed by this hotel. We are familiar with Hilton as Honor members and have stayed in many in the US for traveling with our children’s sports and family vacations. This hotel is that step up from the comforts of sports travel but won’t break the budget while making you feel you have that new level of luxury you deserve. Location is within walking distance from Barcelona Sants train station for all your additional touring connections within Spain. Close to bus and metro access points as well as a hop-on-hop-off bus touring stop. The room amenities hit on those little things that make a big difference. The rain showerhead as well as a hand-held had good pressure and was welcomed after the long flight. The taxi from the airport to the hotel was not that expensive either – another plus in location. Hair dryer and straightening iron are available so you can leave your own at home and use the extra space for souvenirs. The complimentary items include a dental hygiene and shave kit among the normal we find here in the US. Should you need to weigh that suitcase before your return or want to see the effect of all the miles you walk while touring, there is a scale in the bathroom! The bed was comfortable and if your devices only need USB plug-ins, no need to bring a converter. They have the plug-ins for both the traditional USB and the newer iphone USB. All those amenities are complimented with a knowledgeable, attentive and friendly staff. During our stay the Hilton team included Alantana, Nelson, Rene, and Katerina. They assisted us in recommending where we could change money, general questions of the area, and always with a sense that they enjoy their work. There was always a person on staff who knew English. Why not 5-stars? We were too busy touring and ate outside the hotel for the most part. Thus, I cannot adequately review the dining and bar. We will consider staying here during another visit to Barcelona.
• Marla7 (8/5): Great for business and tourism - I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. The hotel is quite nice and in a good location for both business and tourism. My room was on the small side but very comfortable and really well laid out, with a great bathroom. I had to work from the room for an afternoon and found the desk comfortable although small. I had breakfast one of the mornings and there was a good choice of food although not huge. The following day I just got coffee and a pastry from one of the many bakeries nearby for a fraction of the cost. I also had dinner on the night I arrived, I only had small plates as it was quite late but everything was tasty. The staff was excellent, really friendly and helpful. Overall I would recommend it as a place to stay both for business and tourism.

• carlgU4426AF (10/5): Simply amazing stay at Via Sants. Thank to the staff especially Arantza - It was my first time in Barcelona and my first encounter at the front desk was seem less. I really thought that I booked all my tours for 3 nights stay here in Barcelona but to my surprise , it wasn't booked. Arantza at the front desk was SUPERB!!!. She was very helpful and recommended the tours to book.I was very helpless that I will not see inside the famous Sagrada De Familia but she was very calm and reassuring that there will be last minute cancellation. She did her part checking on line booking and I did my part checking my online tour site who arranged for me in Rome. To my persistent, I got the ticket on line to see Sagrada de Familia and Arantza made the recommendation for the rest of the days while I am here in Barcelona. Everyday, I dropped by the front desk and gave my thumbs up telling the front desk and Arantza that I had a great day. Staff are amazing here in the hotel especially Arantza. She exudes positive attitude of helping guests most especially the first timers in Barcelona. She deserves great commendation particularly in every customer contact point to make lasting impression. Give my sincere thanks to all staff in restaurant and housekeeping who made my first visit in Barcelona memorable and amazing!!! Will surely comeback and bring friends and family to Via Sants as Diamond member.
• kimmeny (10/5): Via Sants - Great Hotel - Beautiful hotel in a nice central location. Rooms were comfortable. Rooftops is beautiful with a jacuzzi and you can order drinks from there. The front desk was very helpful. Rene is bellman, concierge, taxi requester and eatery suggested. He was there for our every need. He took our bags to our room, explained how the room worked, etc.
• breannem4545 (6/5): Good location. Everything else, meh. - This hotel had a good location, next to the train station, however, the service was average. They only provide water at check in and the breakfast was just okay. Not a lot of food options. I just wasn’t impressed. As a gold member, I did not feel any extra benefits like at other hotels.
