Danita (9/5): Great location, great breakfast and comfortable spacious rooms - Great location around the Acropolis and Monastiraki. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The shower wasn’t draining so well, which props to them, they did send a technician to address it. The shower drain area could really have been cleaned a bit better. I asked for a new bath mat but don’t believe I ever got one.

On Friday and Saturday night there was some street noise but nothing that disturbed. The staff were excellent, the room was cleaned daily and the reception was on hand in case anything was needed.

ufukkrc (7/5): Standart sayılabilir - Tesisin konumu güzeldi söylenen gibi akropolis manzaraliydi. Kahvaltı güzeldi özellikle tatlılar çok güzeldi. Malesef 3 gün kaldık sadece 1 kez su getirildi. Oda temizliği yapılsa da su yenileme kesinlikle yok. Oda temizliği yapılırken dikkat edilmeyen bir sürü yer gördük. Örneğin Aplikler toz içindeydi uzun zamandır silinmemiş. Fiyatına göre bence aşağıda kaldı.

Peter (7/5): Goede locatie met matige kamerverzorging. - Goede locatie en grootte van de kamer. Wij zaten er 7 nachten en geen enkele keer schone lakens. Ook aantal keren was het bed niet gedaan. Zelfs een handdoek op de grond was weer opgehangen😱
Annelies (5/5): Er zijn nog hotels met uitzicht op de acropolis en zou daar eerst eens kijken want hier heel veel last van het nachtlawa - Het uitzicht , de ligging We hadden de suite geboekt maar de foto’s gelinkt aan de suite komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Wat we wel hadden was het beloofde uitzicht op de Acropolis.Toen we daar een melding van maakte werd gezegd dat dit aan Booking.com ligt dat de foto,s niet matchen met de werkelijkheid Maar door de populaire ligging hadden we ‘s avonds tot midden van de nacht veel nachtlawaai - wij zaten op de vierde verdieping en was gelijk ze aan ons raam passeerden. En dat met de ramen dicht. Het ontbijt was goed maar de stolpen waar de confituur in zaten lag onder een laag stof. Ook de rooftop was niet beschikbaar
Alice (9/5): Short and sweet very good - We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our visit, which made us feel very welcome. The location was excellent — very central and convenient for exploring Athens. The accommodation had everything we could possibly need, and the small kitchen area was a great bonus. If we had been staying longer, it would have been absolutely ideal. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would happily return.

Kawtar (6/5): Je ne recommande pas - L’emplacement Le prix est élevé par rapport à la qualité de la prestation. La suite donnait sur la rue et était bruyante. La salle de bain ne met pas à disposition ni shampooing ni gel douche ni brosse à dents. Et pour le prix payer, c’est quand même inadmissible. L’heure du Checkout, j’attendais dans le lobby mon taxi pour aller à l’aéroport et une des femmes de ménage en service avait terminé sa journée et elle fumait librement dans les espaces commun… Le personnel à l’accueil est aimable, mais encore une fois pour le prix payé en comparaison avec beaucoup d’autres hôtels, la prestation n’est pas à la hauteur du prix payé.

jeff3411 (9/5): Très bon séjour à Athènes - Très bon hôtel très récent, bien équipé et bien situé près de Monastiraki et Plaka. Le personnel d'accueil est très sympathique. La chambre est très grande avec un grand balcon. Le petit déjeuner sucré et salé est assez varié avec jus d'orange frais pressé. Tout près de l'hôtel, il y a de nombreux restaurants et des bars qui proposent des happy hours dès 17h00. Bref allez y vous ne serez pas déçus. Le lobby ouvert aux quatre vents (la baie vitrée de façade n'est pas entièrement fermée dans sa partie superieure!), très étrange et en hiver ou début du printemps, cela ne donne pas envie de s'y attarder, ce qui est dommage car il est bien aménagé. Bien s'assurer que le ménage soit effectué tous les jours.

Samantha (9/5): A great place to stay in a fabulous - The room was very large and had self catering facilities. Sadly, because there was so much to do in Athens, we didn’t spend that much time in it. The room and bathroom were very clean The location is wonderful as it is so close to the areas you are likely to spend your time in so no taxis necessary although the underground station is only 10 minutes away. The breakfast was a standard breakfast buffet selection but far better than we expected given the price Communication was very quick and helpful. The immediate surroundings aren’t pretty but they feel genuine and alive. You can hear some outside noise but just from passing people and cars and not from bars or restaurants. There was a jacuzzi on a separate balcony which looked like it needed a clean. It didn’t bother us as we wouldn’t have used it anyway.
Helen (9/5): Comfortable stay, excellent location, and friendly staff - It was clean, pleasant and spacious, with nice molton brown products. Friendly staff who make excellent restaurant recommendations! Not so much choice for tea/coffee in the room and the lift was very small - especially as we had a pram with us, which was a tight squeeze.

Inga (8/5): - Gutes Frühstück, vor allem toll mit dem (selbst) frischgepressten Orangen-Saft, ruhig bei geschlossenen Fenstern trotz naher Lage zur Psyrri-/Monastiraki-Platz und relativ nah zur Metro-Station Monastiraki (M3). Der Lese-Sessel war auch bequem, nice to have, und die Küchenzeile war super praktisch. Man war auch direkt im Psyrri-Viertel bei vielen Restaurants, ein Kiosk für Wasser etc. in der Nähe, alles einfach fußläufig zu erreichen. Kleiner Hotel-Aufzug, aber es ging, Innenfenster gehen in einen Schacht (sind immer erhellt - wer es dunkel braucht beim Schlafen, sollte an die Augenmaske denken). Jacuzzi war zwar nett, sah aber nicht stabil/fertiggestellt aus. Manchmal unangenehmer Geruch aus dem Toiletten-Abflussrohr. Betten hätten noch etwas härter sein können, aber das ist Geschmackssache und gewichtabhängig. Dieses Zimmer hatte keinen Blick auf die Akropolis, aber trotzdem einen netten Weitblick.
Nicolas (9/5): Bon hôtel très bien placé - Très bien situé, proche des lieux de vie et à 20 mns du Colisée. Personnel plutôt sympathique, petit déjeuner très correct avec jus d’orange pressée. Pas eu de problème pour trouver une place le matin. Les chambres donnant sur la rue peuvent être bruyantes le soir , surtout en sortie de soirée. Si vous voulez du calme peut être demander les chambres coté cour ( face à un mur) mais au moins vous êtes au calme.

Anja (10/5): Aanrader! - Vriendelijke mensen, fantastisch ontbijt en mooi gelegen in het leuke wijkje Psyrri (leuker dan Plakka vonden wij) met veel restaurantjes; mooie winkeltjes en een leuke sfeer. Vlakbij metrostation Monestaraki waardoor alles dichtbij te bereizen is. We hadden een ruime kamer waardoor we (ik en mijn zoon) wat apart van elkaar konden slapen. Super! Geen verbeterpunten

Susanne (5/5): Mäßig ausgestattetes Hotel mit vielen Mäkeln. - Die Lage am Randes des Ausgehviertels Psyrri ist angenehm ruhig in Seitenstraße. Das Zimmer war geräumig, mit großem, bequemen Doppelbett. Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert. Trotz ausreichend Platz, verfügt das Badezimmer über ein wirklich Mini-kleines Waschbecken mit null Ablagemöglichkeit. Habe die Küchenzeile als Badezimmer genutzt. Zimmerreinigung nur das nötigste, Spiegel wurden nicht geputzt, Handtücher nicht vollständig aufgefüllt. Lediglich ein Bettlaken und Decke für 2 Personen im Doppelbett. Um 7 Uhr wird man (im 4. Stock!!) von penetrantem Speckgeruch geweckt, die Mitarbeiter braten Eier und Speck bei offenen Küchentüren, so dass der Geruch durchs ganze Hotel zieht. Eier und Speck um 10 Uhr beim Frühstück eiskalt. Personal mäßig freundlich. Rezeptionsmitarbeiter sitzen mit Freunden auf den Sofas in der Lobby. Abgenutztes Mobiliar in der Lobby. Entweder das Hotel hat keinen Manager oder dieser ist komplett uninteressiert.

Ela (4/5): Disappointing Stay: Misleading Room Booking, No View, and Excessive Noise - To be fair, the room itself was clean and relatively spacious, and the breakfast was decent; we especially appreciated the fresh orange juice. Still, the mismatch between what was promised and what was delivered, along with the lack of customer service, left a negative overall impression. We left this hotel feeling quite disappointed, especially given what we had booked and expected. We specifically reserved a room listed on their website as the “Executive Suite with Acropolis View” (on Booking “Executive Suite”) and notably, there is no other Executive Suite option shown on their website, so the choice seemed unambiguous. However, upon arrival, we were given a room on the first floor with no view of the Acropolis or any landmark at all. Instead, the room faced a busy street, and the experience was made worse by significant noise from both outside traffic and the hallway. The windows appeared to have little to no sound insulation, and even the walls seemed thin, making it very difficult for me to sleep at night. Overall, it felt like we were placed in one of the least desirable rooms in the hotel. When we raised this issue, the hotel staff made no meaningful effort to resolve it and insisted that we had not booked the correct room, which was frustrating given how the room categories are presented on their website. Out of the four room types listed, we booked and were placed in what is supposedly the second-highest tier, but it certainly didn’t feel that way.
Brigitte (9/5): Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel empfehlen. - 7 Tg im April 2026 als älteres Ehepaar im Hotel Royalty Suites in Athen: Kleines Apartment-Hotel, Lage sehr zentral in der historischen Altstadt in ruhiger Seitenstraße „Sarri“ nahe Monastiraki-Platz (Metrostation) und Thissio (Metrostation). Bestens geeignet für Stadtbesichtigungen zu Fuß. Die Suiten sind sehr geräumig mit Sitzecke und verfügen über eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Kochplatte, Kaffeemaschine u Wasserkocher. Es wird täglich gereinigt. Zimmer/ Suiten teilweise mit Balkonen. Hotel ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, Personal sehr freundlich. Vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet. Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Alles war bestens. Was uns persönlich nicht tangierte: Hotel verfügt über Gästeparkplatz - es gibt in der Altstadt Athens so gut wie keine Parkplätze. Hinweis: Das Hotel ist klein und die Straße "Sarri" eine Nebenstraße - es gab Taxifahrer, die weder das Hotel noch die Straße kannten (man sollte immer einen Zettel dabei haben, in dem der Straßenname auf Griechisch geschrieben steht, da nicht alle Taxifahrer Englisch sprechen).

David (7/5): Bel emplacement mais offre ne correspondant pas à l’annonce!!! - Sa localisation, sa propreté, la présence du spa sur la terrasse L’annonce évoque la présence d’un réfrigérateur (or ce n’est qu’un petit réfrigérateur qui sert plutôt pour le mini-bar!), un coin salon (inexistant !), dés ustensiles de cuisine (deux petites casseroles et un égouttoir!), une table à manger (inexistante !), un coin repas (inexistant) Cela nous a obligé à manger à l’extérieur midi et soir! L’annonce parlait de 2 lits (or un lit était une banquette petite et peu confortable que nous avons demandé de changer en milieu de semaine !) Les plans d’évacuation indiquent d’ailleurs la présence d’un coin repas et salon mais les chambres ont dû être rénovées pour mettre une baignoire en plein milieu! Inutile quand vous avez des enfants! Un dédommagement est donc demandé !
Valerie (9/5): Très bon moment dans la capitale athénienne. - J'ai aimé l'emplacement stratégique de cet hôtel dans le quartier de Psyrri. J'ai aimé la déco de l'hôtel. La chambre était plutôt correcte. La chambre était propre. Malgré l'emplacement, nous n'avons subi aucun bruit venant de la rue. Bonne isolation. J'ai adoré le petit déjeuner copieux et très varié. Le personnel était très sympathique et arrangeant. Nous avons laissé nos valises à l'hôtel après le check out . Je reviendrai dans cet hôtel si je dois de nouveau séjourner à Athènes. Il est central et à proximité des places stratégiques. Le tout petit frigo .

Garden view a tiny yard storing water bottles. View brick wall. I did mention to staff who said these were the standard booking.com rooms. I said it certainly didnt feel like a four star, they said it wasnt it was 4 keys.. No rooftop garden, this was at their hotel nearer to town. They had no others available. Room 101 noisy by lift and stairs. Comfortable beds lovely towels. Nice breakfast. Lounge seats cream so a bit grubby. Domestic facilities good. Location good. So I was very disappointed that the facilities did not meet my expectations. Had I been expecting a small room no view or balcony I would have been better prepared

Microbot (9/5): - La chambre était très bien décorée et bien équipée. Nous avions choisi une chambre avec cuisine car nous voyagions avec notre enfant. Les ustensiles de cuisine étaient plus que suffisants. Les lits étaient très confortables. Les draps et les serviettes étaient impeccables. Le personnel était à la fois aimable et très serviable. Le fait de pouvoir déguster du jus d'orange fraîchement pressé au petit-déjeuner était un vrai plus. Durant notre séjour de quatre jours, le petit-déjeuner se composait presque toujours du même type d'œufs. Les options végétariennes comprenaient des plats à base de pommes de terre (au four ou en croquettes) et des légumes sautés.

Dusche offen, so dass es immer nach dem Duschen sehr nass war im Bad. Die Frühstücksdamen waren sehr laut beim abwaschen des Geschirrs. Das störte die Gemütlichkeit des Frühstücksraumes.

SIMONA (10/5): Excelent! - Apartament spațios cu terasă, chicinetă, jacuzzi, cu vedere minunată la Acropole, curat, mic dejun bun, personal foarte amabil. La 50m de hotel este o parcare cu plată. Foarte frumos, recomand cu încredere!
Karin (8/5): Entspanntes Hotel in zentraler Lage - Super Lage, zentral und gut erreichbar. Großes Zimmer mit bequemen Bett, großes Bad, sehr sauber und leckeres Frühstück. Besonderes Extra...man darf in der Lobby rauchen und muss nicht im freien stehen Etwas störender Lärm von außen durch Partyleute, da die Fenster nicht sehr dick sind.

Radim (9/5): Diese Unterkunft kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen :-) - Das Zimmer war sehr schön und groß. Die Betten war sehr bequem. Die Zimmer werden täglich geputzt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, es wurde immer nachgefüllt und es gab frischen Orangensaft. Die Roaylty Suites haben eine tolle, zentrale Lage, alles ist perfekt zu Fuß erreichbar...es ist abends und nachts entsprechend etwas lauter ;-) Wegen dem (sehr schönen aber kühlen) Marmorboden im Zimmer empfehlen sich Schlappen mitzunehmen. Die Küche in unserem Zimmer war nicht besonders gut ausgestattet (z.B. gab es keinen einzigen scharfen Messer, außer dem Minibar, gibt es keinen Kühlschrank), aber es gibt so viele gute Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen, dass man die Küche nicht wirklich braucht. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist nett, allerdings die Bitte per Telefon morgens geweckt zu werden, hat nicht funktioniert. Genauso wenig wurde ein fehlendes Glas im Zimmer gebracht.
