Prédio construido a séculos.

Our experience was a nightmare. We all agreed it was the worst day of our lives. Let me explain:
Initial entry
We arrived about 11pm at night. We had 2 adult 3 kids carrying 5 large luggages and 5 backpacks. We walked from train station and were chased by a crazy homeless guy and got to the apartment urgently wanting entry. But it took us 30 minutes to get in. There's are 3 methods to get in. None of which were working. We stood outside for 30 minutes, with 3 small children who were terrified wanting to desperately get in. Then the door randomly unlocked for no apparent reason and we got in.
Once we got in, it was very confusing navigating through a back door with half glass door and walking through a courtyard and then walking in the back through another dark courtyard. It took us another 20 minutes to figure out this puzzle.
The stairs will ruin you. We had to carry all of our luggage up the 3rd floor. But the 1st floor isn't on the ground. So it's really on the 4 flights of stairs. But theirs actually extra landings and it's very narrow to carry 5 luggages up and 5 backpacks was extreme difficulty, so it feels more like the 5th floor.
AT THE FRONT DOOR LOCK
Getting in the door. There key wouldn't open the lock, I kept carrying all the luggage up and my wife finally got it after about 15 minutes.
UPON ENTRY
It was almost 1am when we actually got into the apartment maybe 1230.
We are all soaking in sweat like we ran a marathon. We were exha
- Justin (4/5): - We were supposed to get the door code emailed to us at check in. It never came. Had a conversation with Italianway staff, whom I could barely hear because there was so much noise in the office. She said it was emailed and that I should have it. After 15 minutes back and forth she finally sent another one. All this is going on while we were standing in 34C on the street in front of the apartment. To add insult to injury we had to carry two heavy suitcases up 3 floors to a flat that was not air conditioned. No where did I read that it was a third floor walk up with no AC. My wife and I are in our mid seventies and found the whole ordeal extremely difficult. I might add that I am married to an Italian and we have lived in Italy for the past 20 years so we know what to expect when traveling. On a good note, the flat was clean and located in a convenient location.
