- Luis (4/5): I wouldn't come back nor recommend it to anyone! - The location was convenient. The beds were decently comfortable. The elevator didn't work during check-in or out, so we had to climb up and down four stories with three pieces of luggage. The guy at the reception didn't understand English and looked rather lost at every question we asked. The noise from the street was unbearable and the inside of the building really disgusting. I was afraid of contracting every kind of desease from walking up and down the stairs. I would never come back nor recommend it to anyone. Ever!

- Nur (1/5): not recommended at all. - nothing 1. no wifi 2. we asked the guy for help because the lift was broken (totally not our fault) to help us carry only ONE luggage but he refuse. 3. the room is a bit smelly (smell like old curtain) 4. the water pressure was so low T.T you need to wait at least 15 minutes to get a 5 minutes good water pressure -.- 5. the spiral stairs looks like its about to collapse... scared for my life.

- Christelle (7/5): Great place to stay if you're on a budget. - The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I had to extend my stay in Cairo and they were very helpful providing another room in the hotel with a discounted rate. I was offered to leave my bags by the reception for a couple of hours after the check out. Depending on what room you're in, the noise from the streets can be annoying, but nothing earplugs won't help with. The entrance to the building and the elevator are not so clean.

- Berra (6/5): Not bad kinda good? - Location was good. Bathroom was clean. I had orginally booked the room with balcony but for our last day it wasn't available so i had booked another room. I think person who booked the room with balcony has changed their mind. So stuff gave us free upgrade. When we first arrived, the bedsheets were dirty. We arrived around 4 am so we haven't said anything but in the morning we requested them to change the bedsheets. First day staff said they dont have keys so they weren't able to do. Next morming I sat at the looby until they changed. So you need to be insistent with what you need.

- Luigi (4/5): Good only for quality/price ratio and position - Good position in the city We didn't expect that much, considering the price is very low, but the palace is very dirty and the elevator it's too old to be used. The receptionist cannot speak any word of English and couldn't help us when we asked him about any organized experiences in the desert or with any other request. The bathroom is ok but the room is not very clean. The refrigerator and a.c. work very well but the windows are broken, so there's always light coming in. There is a kitchen but it's dirty and it is not very clear how the breakfast works. So we ways bught it at the bar in front of the palace.

The location is at the center, you have everything you need around you. The building is one of old cairo's unique architecture designs. Would definitely stay again soon.

- Tasneem (7/5): Great Location and Friendly Staff. - The location is fantastic, it’s right in the heart with all the locals which is really nice, The staff are kind and friendly if you raise any issues they would be happy to resolve them. The worker Fatima was absolutely lovely. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor and it is clean don’t let the entrance of the building fool you It got pretty cold and the room has no heaters; No kettle or cups/tea bags in the room, the staff will make you a tea if you ask but I prefer making my own tea; There was a small water leakage in the bathroom which was annoying; and dangerous. The lift would sometimes get stuck so we had to use the stairs which is not ideal.

The location is superb, very close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are neat and cosy. Highly recommended, the place is good value for money.

Doesn't look like the pics at all, looks like it was not well taken care of and declined massively. The door handle/lock was loose. Shared bathroom wasnt clean.

Breakfast is average. It was scrambled eggs, white cheese, and fava beans with tea. There were no utensils though. Breakfast is served at the room. The building is very old and unclean. The main building stairs need repair, though I know it's not the hotel responsibility yet the place is not suitable for old folks and families with children, my 70+ old mother fell of the stairs as they are worn out, so someone should put a warning about this. Though the room itself is clean and renovated the ceiling is water Soaked and peeling, Which is very unhealthy.

- Dennis (8/5): Affordable accommodation near Attaba subway (Central Cairo) - The hotel is very well.located around many restaurants, stores of all sorts and an avenue where there are three/four cinemas. About six/seven minutes walk to the closest subway station, Attaba. The feont desk team and the room service lady are nothing short of attentive and helpful angels. Breakfast, though simple, was especailly delicious. The room I stayed wasn't that big. The entrance at street level does look a bit untidy, especially the elevator - but it's very likely it's not under the hotel's remit to tidy it up. It could do with a kettle in the room. Still a good, affordable accommodation to be in in Central Cairo.
