Guest Reviews
- Candice (4/5): - The listing called the property a “newly renovated glamorous 2br” so we were surprised to find a flat that was dirty and disheveled with cabinet doors falling off.
We rented a 2 bedroom flat expecting some privacy from our kids. No luck. The bedroom doors don’t close.
And that nice shower in the photos… it hasn’t ever worked. The hand sprayer works, but not the rain shower head. You can tell it has never worked because it lacks the grime and hard water deposits that everything else has.
I fully expected a London flat to have a fan in the summer, but it didn’t. Not only that, the bedding was winter duvets. They refused to provide bedding that was appropriate to the weather or season. This was a bigger deal than it would have been in the US because the only bedding is the bottom sheet and the duvet. There were a few days we woke up to temperatures of 30C inside the flat so fans and appropriate bedding would have gone a long way.
The sofa is not like what’s shown in the photos. It sat directly on the floor with no legs. The cushion was about 6-8 inches off the floor. If you’re not a child, you probably won’t consider sitting on it.
Long story short, the property was FAR from what was advertised. However, the high point was the location. It was conveniently situated close to the tube and all the shops of Earl’s Court. I would not consider staying at this property again, but I would stay at a different property in the area.
