I requested for late check out until 6pm, around 4+ the cleaning staff didn't press the bell or knock the door, they tried opening it, thankfully the latch was on However all in all a pleasant experience

The bathroom has a wet room-style layout, where there's no partition or separator (like a shower curtain or glass wall) between the shower area and the toilet which causes the floor to be slippery. They don't provide hand towels or top up the toilet paper and tissue paper.

Sewage smell at the front of the hotel, the corridor has a distinct smell of smoke as well. Carpets in corridor dirty and could use an update. Also a car caught fire in front of the hotel in the early morning. And smoke crept into the corridor on our level but the alarm didn't go off. We only got out of the hotel only because we tend to wake up early and there was a commotion. However, the staff did change our room to another floor to use for the rest of our stay.

There is no cot, the parking instructions are unclear - we went to level five to park before checking in, only to be told we can park at the reception. There was no ramp to the reception or from the carpark to the lift - u have to carry the luggage yourself. Toilet drainage is poor. Stood near the drain to bathe but water still can flow to the entrance of the toilet, whole toilet is extremely wet after bathing. No towel provided for the floor. No mat, slippery - dangerous for children.

- Amelia (6/5): - Cons: 1. Really thin walls. I think one's experience really depends on which side of the building your room is. Our room was facing the carpark, and we could hear cars revving throughout the night. That side of the building is also over an empty space on the ground level, where we could hear people partying loudly from evening to early morning. Very difficult to sleep. Our party had another room on the other side of the building, and while the walls were still thin, outside noise was minimal. 2. The aircon was very loud and rattling, which just added to an already noisy environment. Pro: 1. Overall acceptable cleanliness. Staff were competent and polite as well. 2. Lots of Thai eateries and supermarkets around the area for some reason. But also a lot of closed shops. Final note: tourist tax and deposit can only be paid in cash.

- jacksont607 (2/5): Bad room management system and services - Booked hotel on 18 April 2025, upon arriving at hotel at around 130pm then was notify of my room was cancel due to them being overbooked. 2 hotel staff, 1 male and 1 female both claims is not hotel problem and I have to personally settle this with Agoda. They have also refuted that it is my problem and not theirs, I will have to settle this by myself. They will went into the office leaving the reception unattended. This had left me with lots of anxiety and as a foreigner stranded in a foreign country with limited access to everything. By far this is the worst experience I have realise over the years. Understanding when this happens, the SOP will be assisting the guests well being first and try to find an alternative for the guest. But I was left stranded and trying to resolved the situation by myself. The group have a slogan #whereyoubelong but i feel it is more of not their problem when things happen and trying to push around the issues. End of the day Agoda was the one trying to resolve everything and Agoda inform me they were only inform of this few hours back.

- takewee (6/5): Decent hotel stay - Got a family room with 2 queen sized bed. Room is decent but location is really far in. Not advisable for lady to walk alone in the night. Carpark here is without security guard as this is an office building. I would still think it is safe as I park my new car here. See my pictures : you need to use either credit card or touch and go card to first get in. Then you validate with counter before you go out of carpark. Same process repeat for subsequent parking. There is connection to carpark - take to L5 as hotel guests can only park from L5-L6. Also you can park infront in yellow boxes if you can find any.

Parking is available right in front of hotel but limited. Multi-level parking is available. Entrance to the hotel rooms is located outside of the lobby. Felt that the area is a bit rundown. The multi level parking can be a little hassle as the instruction for hotel guest is to park at level 5 and 6, but they closed the walkway leading to the parking after 4pm during the weekend.

- Resort52561172997 (2/5): 😭 Terrible Stay – Would Not Recommend - I’ve stayed in many hotels before, but Fives Hotel DNP is hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Here’s why: 1. Faulty Door Lock The access card system is completely unreliable. Most of the time, I couldn’t even open my own room door. Every time I left the room, I had to worry about whether I’d even be able to get back in. This is beyond frustrating. 2. Poor Room Location & Zero Privacy I was assigned a room on Level 3, which is actually only one level above ground floor, and the worst part? The window directly faces a parking building. Not only does this mean zero privacy (unless you keep the curtains closed at all times), but I could also literally smell car exhaust whenever I opened the window. 3. Inconsiderate Management – Woke Everyone Up at 8 AM The noise situation here is beyond bad. The hotel is located near a nightclub, so I could clearly hear drunk people shouting at night. But what’s even worse? The hotel itself is responsible for the worst disturbance. On the morning of Chinese New Year, at 8 AM, the hotel staff (yes, the staff themselves) set off a five-minute-long firecracker display and hired a lion dance performance right outside the hotel. This wasn’t some random public event—it was organized by the hotel. I’ve attached a photo I took from my window—clearly showing the hotel staff in uniform setting everything up. Imagine staying in a hotel, thinking you’d get a peaceful rest, only to be woken up by 5 minutes of defeaning firecrackers follow up with 20 minutes of thunderous drum beats at 8 AM, arranged by the very place you paid to stay in. Yes, they provide earplugs, but no one warns you that the hotel itself is the biggest source of noise. If they cared about their guests at all, they would have scheduled the performance at a more reasonable time. This level of inconsideration is just unacceptable. 4. Housekeeping Knocking at 10 AM After finally getting back to sleep, housekeeping knocked on my door at 10 AM. This is way too early—most hotels only start housekeeping after 12 noon. Yes, I should have put the “Do Not Disturb” sign, but 10 AM? Seriously? Final Verdict: I absolutely hated my stay here. Poor security, terrible location, awful noise insulation, and completely inconsiderate management. I will never book this hotel again, and I’d advise others to stay far away if you actually want a good night’s sleep.
