- Josephine (1/5): Fraudulent property. Do not book - The place is not fit for Booking. Did not respond and looked dilapidated from outside. I had to look for an alternative as I wasn't admitted. Messages were bot responded to. Do not put your money here as it is fraud. The place is fraudulent. Dilapidated and no response to booking even after confirmation.

- Roman (5/5): Just okay - The host was very welcoming and accommodating. She kindly allowed me to leave my luggage there early, before check-in time. Check-in later on went smoothly, too. The bed was very comfortable and the Wi-Fi was good. The room had a TV, a fridge and an electric heater. The room was clearly not very clean, with cobwebs and stains on the walls, Venetian blinds and windows. Some of the towels were stained brown. There was no towel rail. The shower curtain was very uncomfortable and let water out of the cubicle. The sink was so small that I could barely fit one hand in it.

- Mitchell (10/5): Perfect for us - The host Claire was so welcoming and informed us of everything we needed to know when we arrived. The room was perfect for our needs an the bed was so comfortable. We already plan on booking again.

Room was comfy and had everything I needed and a bit more! Only thing I didn't like was the small sink in the bathroom. Was awkward to wash my hands and fill the kettle.... but even then it's still usable so feel bad saying it!

- Monica (10/5): Amazing great value for money hotel, very clean rooms with useful amenities and comfortable bedding - I have stayed at Mannbuilding many times for work and I have always been very pleased with the hotel. The rooms are very clean and have very useful facilities like a mini fridge, smart TV, ironing equipment and kettle. The bedding and towels are always very clean and I’ve always had a good night’s sleep on the beds there. The bathrooms are very clean as well and smell very pleasant. The WiFi works really well and there are lots of TV channels/streaming platforms to choose from including Netflix. I really appreciate the couple of bottles of water they provide and find this very refreshing after work. I’ve stayed in various rooms there and they have all been great. The price per night is very good for the location and is close to various shops and amenities. The owner Claire is lovely and has accommodated me and been easy to contact if needed. Checking in and out has been very convenient and the owner has been accommodating when I have had to finish work later and check in later. I will continue to use Mannbuilding and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a good value for money hotel who wants a good night’s sleep. Nothing

She makes sure we have everything we need and feel welcome :) Clean room with a lot of usef - On top of the necessities, the room was also equipped with many useful items like hair dryer, kettle, coffee, mini fridge, and even a TV. We can replace and have extra towels without extra charges. The place is right next to a bus station. The shower does not have a door and cannot keep the water inside so whenever we take a shower, the whole floor is wet.

Fridge and drinks facilities appreciated. Good value for money. It was very hot in Room 1 due to the sun coming in, so a fan would be useful. Some opaque privacy film on the windows in Room 1 would also be a good idea as the blinds have some gaps around them.

We really liked that they cleaned the room and there were complimentaries like coffee, tea, sugar etc provided. Its just that there are some flies inside our room maybe because it is around summertime at present.

Room good points - Tv with Netflix, free Wifi, comfy bed, nice bedding, fluffy towels, iron + board, hair drier, fridge with milk, bottles of water provided. Location wasn’t the best arriving late - this was a good 20 min walk from the nearest tube station (Plaistow). Bathroom / toilet area is a little rough around the edges - no proper window in the room. If you are booking you are looking for a converted house - not a traditional hotel. Think air b’n’b rather then hotel.

- Joel (10/5): Amazing stay - This is a great spot in London. Claire was lovely and even personally came to welcome us and answer any questions we had when we arrived. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had everything you could need and more, even offering unused bamboo toothbrushes, an assortment of tea, toiletries and a fridge with bottled water. The TV had Netflix too, which was a fantastic bonus. The bedding was super soft, I was obsessed with the feel of the sheets. It was hard to leave the bed in the morning. The towels were also incredibly fluffy, no old worn out towels to be found. The location is excellent for Comic Con, only a twenty-minute walk. My partner and I will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Thank you for a great stay Claire.

Comfy clean room with nice touches like water in the fridge and toiletries in the bathroom. Host was very helpful with everything, showing us to our room and giving us info on the surrounding area. We had a downstairs room at the front which was quite noisy with traffic

The bus station is right outside of the accomodation making it very easy to get to the metro station or to other bus stations. If you need to buy something there are shops and little restaurants nearby and also a Tesco Express.

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the price is very reasonable. The lady who runs the hotel is lovely and easy to contact if you have questions etc. N/A

Close to Plaistow station, and bus stations right outside the house. Not so clean. Somebody came in to change the towels without telling us in advance. Bad soundproof. This review reflects the reality. If you are on a budget this is a good option. You get what you pay for. I would appreciate more attention to cleanliness.

- Nadia (5/5): Passable if you need to be at ExCel - The host was very nice, helpful and responsive. The location was pretty convinient for an event at ExCel. The price was good. Our room (2) had only a tiny basement style window in the shower. The shower itself was just separated by a curtain from the hall and didn't have any actual borders, so the water accumulated in the too long curtain and the moment you open it, it floods everything, including the toilet. The toilet that's just opposite that curtain and can be seen from the bed doesn't have a lock and the door actually can't be properly shut and keeps opening. Maybe it's just a problem with room 2. And it was still passable considering we just needed a place to drop after the event.
- Rita (10/5): Amazing host and great value/money - The host was amazing! We had a small room and a lot of luggage and she gave us a room that was unoccupied and was bigger without any extra costs. The room had Netflix, a kettle and a fridge, and we had none of that in our previous room in the center of London. The bed was very comfortable and silent. I will defined come back next time I'm coming to Excel London! -

Bus stops right outside and trains are close by, very handy to get to the o2. Claire was lovely. We had a great stay and will be staying again at some point.

- Mario (3/5): If you want to stay in a room of 6 square meters, without a window .... this is the place ! - I travel often for work, so I know how important kindness is.The hostess was very friendly, a warm welcome. You expect a room with at least one window. Unfortunately there wasn't. That was not the only thing.... Those who run this are the owners of a construction company, but the finishing of the room was really bad... The door of the toilet was broken, the shower was not working, there is no air conditioning or other ventilation in the room, ... As a construction company I would make this my business card, to show what quality was delivered. It was disappointing...

- Ewan (8/5): Perfect location for Excel and great value - The property was within easy walking distance of the Excel conference centre. A simple setup, but clean and a perfect place to crash for the night. I would definitely consider returning if travelling to this area again. My room (no.4) was very small, but had everything I needed. The whole ensuite floor gets soaked when you have a shower, so I'd recommend the owner tries a different shower head with less wide spread.

Try to plan your destination at London City Airport (this Airport is nearer to the accommodation). - hosts are sugar: they give you tips, where to go, to have a good time in London. When I called my host, she always answered the call and helped me out. When I met the hosts in the hallway, we had nice conversations. - Nearby, there are several shops to buy foods and drinks. - it was not noisy in the night while sleeping (although there is a hospital nearby). - shower and toilet was clean. - there was a water boiler with tea bags in the room (also café, milk, water and cups). - checking in and out was uncomplicated. I would love it to visit you again! - on one day at night, when I arrived earlier at the accommodation, it was a bit noisy from above (but not while sleeping). - Wi-fi was very weak sometimes. - airing the room was a bit difficult sometimes.

- Worth (8/5): Very happy with my stay here and would return due to the friendliness, cleanliness and nice rooms - The owners are so friendly and great outgoing people which were more then helpful on my journey finding things out and about. The pillows were also very comfy. And the room was lovely and tidy with a well rounded pleasant stay Can be a little bit noisy in the early evening from above till about 11pm but as I am not an early sleeper this wasn't an issue for me
