• Destinie (6/5): Great location - Great location, walking distance to major attractions. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. Breakfast buffet was great. My kids', brother's, and my room did not have a window. The hotel had to make some last minute changes due to over booking. Maybe that's why we ended up with no windows.
• Minal (7/5): - I dint like the fact that we dint get even half and hour extension on checkout, despite of requesting them. Even the biggest of the big hotel chains are very considerate on late checkouts and they happily agree, but this wasn’t the case here.

• Clement (9/5): Comfortable short stay - The room was big enough for our family, with a good-sized shower and bathroom. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were provided complimentary water and even a plate of fruit. The staff were friendly, especially the valet who was very helpful in directing our grab rides into places where we could get in and out of the car safely, as the road is very busy. There is a buffet breakfast available, and my recommendation is to go early. We went there shortly before closing so the full range of food wasn't available. But we still managed to get eggs cooked to our request so we were happy with that. Our room didn't have a window. So if natural light is important to you, then make sure to request a room with a window. To be fair, the pictures of the room when we booked were accurate - there was no window in the photos. I just didn't notice, but it wasn't a problem for us as we only stayed 1 night.

The room was very comfortable, very cleaned, fresh towels and all the amenities were provided. For example we had toiletries, including nails kit. Great variety of a mini bar. AC was available and also a fan. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, including the security guard. The continental breakfast could be improved and have more variety of items, such different types of fruit, yoghurt, granola. Coffee was not hot.

• Amanda (6/5): Needs improvement - Check in was quick and efficient. Room was on 7th floor and very quiet. Pillow was stained with blood and I asked for it to be changed. The cleaner needs some training. It should have been put in the bin! Breakfast was a shambles. Good choice of foods, but were not refilled often enough and you constantly had to ask for bowls/plates etc.

• Manuel (3/5): I would definitely not stay here again. Small and claustorfobic rooms. - The location is really good. Staff is polite and respectful. the wifi works nicely. breakfast is bad. no options, vietnamese food is so so good and in here they can't even do a simple omelete... Room has no windows, super claustorfobic and weirdly smell very small to, you'll find dificult to open your bags. AC is pointed exacly for your head, and you can't turn it other way.

Expedia tried to contact the hotel many times and they never returned communication. Avoid this hotel at all cost. Terrible customer service.

Unfortunately as we were told day of that the hotel was fully booked (we were only staying one night) so we got moved 500m down the road to another A25 hotel. Arriving from airport travel at 11pm didn't make this super helpful but what can you do. Staff were accommodating enough.
• Warren (8/5): - The place is conveniently located just a few blocks from the Ben Thanh Market place. Also, there were lots of street food and regular restaurants near the hotel which was great. The down side is that the hotel fronts a very, very busy street and crossing is almost impossible for the inexperienced. Anyone who has been to Saigon knows that motorbikes don't give the right of way to pedestrians.

Poor internet connection in the room. It was intermittent and a hassle. Some staff were eating at their posts while on duty and facing guests.

Just a short taxi ride to the downtown district near the river with the best restaurants, bars and shopping. My wife and daughters shopped flat out all day everyday while we were there only stopping for great food experiences. HCMC still has the best shopping in Vietnam for sure... Late night check-in was hard and staff at the front desk were unhelpful. The first room was good but the second room for additional family was unacceptable, and staff were blunt that is what we get bad luck. The next day we approached the daytime front desk team, and they understood our problem and agreed to rectify it. The guy they had on overnight duty needs some customer service training.

• Barbara (8/5): A25 - Nice modest Hotel - Property was very clean, there is a bathroom in the lobby, which was great when waiting after checkout. They stored out luggage after checkout while we went on a morning tour. Staff were very helpful. They speak limited English. However, we do not know Vietnamese, and they were patient while we communicated through google Translate. On arrival, they helped us with a miscommunication with our driver. The next morning, we were going on a tour, and we did not have cash, so their security drove me on his bike to an atm before we got picked up. Breakfast was limited selection but very delicious (great coffee). Would stay again! There were ants on the countertop in the bathroom, assuming it was due to the humidity. We got a twin room instead of the king room we booked. (We arrived at 2330 and were so tired and just wanted to sleep)

• Beck (3/5): Poor - There are always some hotels that pretend to be something they are not. Through the Booking.com app I reserved a room at A25 Hotel 55 Cach Mang Thang 8. The room had a window where the view was a gray wall. I think this is because the reservation was through the booking.com app, so it doesn't matter what they offer you. Breakfast was included in the price. One morning there were eggs and no bread, so breakfast consisted of eggs, cake and coffee. The next day there was bread but no eggs. I wrote to the hotel about the product being missing, but got no reply. The following days, the person in charge of breakfast was angry with me, and that's not so good. The room cleaning was good, but some days it was not cleaned. Overall I give two star

• Spiros (3/5): Needs improvement - They'll hold your bags if you're going elsewhere for a few days. I left my extra bag on three occasions. All was well. No issues I stayed there on three separate occasions on this trip. The room is on the small size. On my second occasion, I had a room with no window in the bathroom, and there was a strong sewage odor even though the room was on the 6th floor. The breakfast is in a sorry state as they open at 6:30 thefood is not ready. most of the food comes later around 7:00 o'clock and is lukewarmat best. I suggested to the staff to either open at 7:00 when the food is there or bring the food in earlier. Also talked with the front desk about it. Upon check-in on the third time, I asked the front desk about the breakfast issue, and the answer was that it had been fixed. Asked if there would be food on time in the morning, and the answer was, there would be food. Don't worry about that. I went the following morning for breakfast at 0637, and there was no attendant. The only food available was some boiled eggs and bread for toast. The attendant arrived with some cold food at 6:53. Dumped the food in the trays and started chopping a watermelon. This time, I only saw one attendant. previously were two. Housekeeping on the previous occasions ousekeeping was awesome. On the third visit, not so much. It was all new crew. Two out of four days, there was no service. I asked the front desk, and the young lady said it was because it was Labor Day, and there was a shortage of personnel. The question is why I kept going there. Answer is since it was a short stay each time I didn't feel like lugging three pieces of luggage from hotel to hotel. However, the hotel was in transition with high personnel turnover. Some misteps can be attributed to that. Transition or not, there should be continuity to assure good service. The area around the hotel is congested and somewhat dirty. There are some good Banh Mi places nearby, though. Overall, I won't be staying there again unless I read that things have improved.
