Dagelijkse schoonmaak wat we prettig vonden en onverwachts bij een accommodatie als deze. Een paar zichtbare vlekjes in het beddengoed en handdoeken ook al was alles schoon. Weinig daglicht, maar vooral op pad geweest, dus geen ramp. Kamer iets kleiner dan verwacht.

Hosts gut zu erreichen aber nur via Whatsapp. - Raum no. 2 war sehr sehr klein. Mein Koffer hatte keinen Platz im Zimmer. - Schimmel in der Dusche. - Keine richtige Tür zum Bad. keine Privatsphäre zu zweit. - Zimmer sehr ringhörig. Man hört jedes Wort der anderen Gäste vom MamaHouse. Die Nachbaren oben machten sehr viel Lärm, sodass die Deckenlampe wackelte. - Nur 1 Schlüssel. Wenn man zu zweit unterwegs war und jemand noch andere Pläne hatte, musste man sich immer absprechen. - Keinen direkten Kontakt zu den Hosts I

• Zuzanna (4/5): Was okay but wouldn’t return. - Good location Overall the place is located in a lovely area. The room looked nice in pictures and we thought it was great when we first walked in. However, not long after we noticed mould in the bathroom and lots of dust in the actual room. Another problem was the keys. We understand that it may be an older place, however we couldn’t get the key to open the front gate to work. We had ro reply on an Italian lady that lived there and she would open the door for us when she was home. She herself said that the key doesn’t work.

• Kalkidan (1/5): Stressante a causa dei numerosi problemi presentati dalla struttura - La posizione era molto comoda, mezzi pubblici vicini e facilità nel raggiungere il centro di Trastevere. La zona era tranquilla. Terribile. La struttura presentava grosso un problema di muffa che era presente in bagno e su tutti i soffitti e nei mobili. C’era un odore estremamente acre e che ci ha provocato forti mal di testa e nausea. La muffa era addirittura presente nel soffione della doccia, come se non bastasse l’acqua calda era pressoché inesistente. Come se non bastasse, la terrazza presentava feci e urine animali che hanno reso la terrazza inagibile. Naturalmente, i problemi sono stati comunicati all’host tempestivamente, purtroppo lei ha mostrato una disponibilità solo apparente, ma non ha propriamente trovato delle soluzioni. Ci ha proposto un’altra struttura con problemi di altra natura (che ha negato anche con l’evidenza). La luce naturale era pressoché inesistente. Questi problemi hanno negativamente intaccato il nostro soggiorno e la nostra salute. Sconsigliamo calorosamente un soggiorno in questa struttura.

Left our door wide open- you could see all of our bags inside the room it is a wonder we were not robbed. We were out from 6am and only returned at 7pm to find this. The room was not cleaned and so entry is completely inexplainable. We had other guests texting me to ask me to operate the boiler in my room as per request of the renter. I was bombarded with text messages from the renter. Forced out of room which we were in due to her own mistake. Forced all of our stuff in backpacks and shoved this into the wardrobe. The list is endless. Did not reply to messages saying we had arrived. Toilet seat was almost completely unhinged. Do not stay here if you want to be able to enjoy your trip. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had and the way she treated me is completely inexcusable. No basic amenities. Unsafe. Unprofessional. Downright dangerous.

La calefacción no funcionaba y al entrar en la habitación a oscuras rompí una mosquitera por accidente, la cual tuve que pagar 150€ por su arreglo y nadie me envió la factura ni el comprobante de que esa avería en verdad costaba lo que costaba.

• Elias (7/5): Great place to book for early check in, if you're not fussy this place rocks - Great Location and an awesome place to book if you plan on getting there early and don't mind your place not turned over. We just whatsapp'd out host and they let us in. Great little back porch to sit in. Shower is spacious and has a nice flow/attachment. Cleaned our rooms out and gave us new juice boxes each day. Shower didn't drain very well, toilet seat was very loose. We booked on short notice so once we got there we were unsure where to go, likely this was partially due to the late booking as we did not receive an email to give us check in instructions in time. Likely if you get there at their normal checkin time you won't run into this problem. Alternatively it's in stairwell C, just Whatsapp the host and she'll let you in

• Belinda (8/5): - Goede uitgangspositie om lopend Rome te verkennen. Straatje on de hoek, waar ze en een bakker hebben en aan de overkant van de bakker heerlijk belegde broodjes verkopen. Goed bed en kussens, kamer is niet super groot maar perfect om er te slapen. Koelkast maakte veel geluid en werd na een appje vervangen. Koffiemachine op de gang. Rustig gelegen. Je kan je koffers achterlaten voor je incheckt in je kamer. Tip als je in kamer 1 of 2 slaapt: doe de luiken dicht bij je balkon. Het balkon van deze 2 kamers grenst aan elkaar en het licht gaat aan middels een sensor, als dan de buurman zijn balkon op gaat wordt je niet wakker van het licht. Kortom goed verblijf gehad. Op booking.com staat een vraag van iemand die om 19:00 uur vliegt en vraagt of ze koffers kan achterlaten. Accomodatie geeft aan dat dat op een andere lokatie kan. Echter dat blijkt niet zo te zijn. Of je moet ergens lockers zoeken. Buiten op balkon hangt een apparaat (niet de airco) waar soms damp uitkomt en lawaai maakt. Ik vermoed iets van de boiler. Maar dat is maar heel af en toe. No

Había un ruido que no se si provenía de la pequeña nevera que tienen o de las tuberías, pero junto con la luz con detector del baño fue imposible dormir. Parpadeaba toda la noche sin haber movimiento alguno y el ruido era insoportable.

• Neugebauer (9/5): Immer wieder Trastevere - Chiara war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Kontakt lief reibungslos ab. Das Zimmer hat eine tolle Lage, verschiedene Restaurants und Kneipen sind schnell fußläufig zu erreichen. Auch einige kleine Supermärkte sind vorhanden. Man kommt überall zu Fuß aber auch mit dem Bus hin. Es gab Snacks auf dem Zimmer und abends war es super leise, so dass es wirklich eine tolle Erfahrung war. Würde die Unterkunft immer wieder empfehlen.

• Natalie (4/5): - I wish I could give this property a higher rating — the location was great and it had a lot of potential. However, the room I was assigned had a loud, persistent noise coming from inside the walls, likely from the bathroom or plumbing. I also noticed a constant noise from the mini refrigerator. I recorded videos and sent them to the host to clearly capture how disruptive the sounds were. The host claimed that no one else had reported the issue, but I beg to differ — the noise was so loud it made it nearly impossible to sleep. I had a 5 AM Uber to the airport the next morning, and not getting any rest really impacted my experience. The room number was #3

• Emily (8/5): Overall, this apartment is conveniently located in the hip area of Trastevere. Perfect for a few nights stay. - The highlight of Mama House was how continently located it was to restaurants, bars, cafes and main attractions. The apartment was stocked with basic necessities and had a mini fridge, complimentary snacks, air conditioning, balcony and TV. The bed was comfortable and there was a wardrobe to unpack and hang your clothing. The courtyard was beautiful and the host was great with clearly communicating instructions to access the space upon arrival. This apartment was good for a short stay (3 nights max). A few things that we noted about this apartment was that there was mold on the ceiling in the shower. We had also booked the room because it advertised a balcony; however, upon arrival the balcony was dirty, had no natural light and an odd smell (also like mold). We did not end up using the balcony at all. Lastly, while this was completely out of the control of the host, the upstairs neighbours made excessive amounts of noise between the hours of 10:00-11:30 pm every night we were there. It sounded like furniture moving, stomping or a child running around.

• Juan (4/5): Better read the reviews - A few positives to be fair. The location is great, the place was clean and communication with the host was good as well. They also provide you with snacks and toiletries which was much appreciated. The place is far too small to be comfortable for a couple ,( room 2). It's difficult to move around, as the bed takes up almost all of the available space. The bathroom is narrow and water splashes out of the shower making it impossible to keep the floor dry. The balcony is dark and uninviting. The air conditioning barely works which was a major disappointment in the middle of summer. Additionally there was a noticeable dampness in the air. This place might be suitable for a single person staying a night or two but it's definitely not ideal for a couple, elderly guests or a longer stay.

Communication with the staff was easy and we were able drop off luggage early. Room and the bathroom especially had mould damage on the ceiling and on the walls. For a person staying more that few days it can be uncomfortable or ever harmful for their health.

That said, the neighborhood itself was charming and felt safe, which was a positive aspect of the stay.
• Moyna (8/5): Lovely stay in Rome again. - Lovely location, away from the hustle and bustle but only a few minutes walk to the restaurants and nightlife. The bathroom shower was broken when we arrived but we managed to fix the issue.
• Jacinta (5/5): Passable - The location was good with lots of nice restaurants nearby. The room is extremely small, it was a struggle to have two people with two suitcases in the room. Only comfortable for a 1 or 2 night stay. There was mould in the shower and the fridge made constant noise. There is also no natural sunlight or windows in the room. The host could improve their communication with guests. I had confirmed the check in time prior to my arrival, however once I had arrived the room was not even ready. All access into the apartment is done remotely for check in, which meant if the cleaners did not show when they did I would’ve been locked out of the apartment as the room was not even clean and ready for check in despite the host assuring me in prior communications. Instead I was told by the cleaners that the room would not be ready for another hour, I communicated this with the host and received zero explanation nor apology.
