The location was perfect, the room was beautiful and thoughtfully equipped, and the bathroom was incredibly spacious. Every staff member we met was genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. This was my third time visiting Barcelona, but my first time staying at Hamsa House — and it definitely won’t be my last. I’ll absolutely be looking to stay here again on future trips to Barcelona.

Sam apartament jest pięknie wykończony i wyposażony w absolutnie wszystko co potrzebne a nawet trochę więcej (kto by się spodziewał pralki?!?!) Czy ściany są cienkie? tak, jak w każdej kamienicy w BCN. Czy słychać odgłosy miasta? tak - po to jedzie się do miasta ;) taki jest urok BCN, nie można się na to obrażać! To jest mój 16 pobyt w BCN i jest to jedna z najlepszych miejscówek w jakiej byłam! że nie mogłam zostać dłużej ;)

• Anastasija (1/5): Not worth the money, stay somewhere else - The receptionist was amazing!! Super helpful and friendly. First of all, we had to check in in another hotel, because this one does not have a reception desk. So we had to walk and search for it in the rain. The room we got (302) did not have a proper working bathroom door. The door couldn’t close, so every time I wanted to use the toilet I had to bring a whole wooden table from the bathroom to put in front of the door for it to stay closed. Unbelievable. It was also extremely loud at night and there were many drunk, drugged and sketchy people outside. For this much money I at least expect to feel safe and comfortable. This was a pure disappointment for a not so cheap hotel.

I think there was a club somewhere in the area and you could hear the loud music but they gave complimentary ear stoppers so that cancelled out the noise! No complaints either way

• Daniel (7/5): Good Hotel but some issues - The staff was very friendly and helpful, and accommodating of our requests. The location was quite good, right off Las ramblas and the metro, but not noisy from the street. The bed and the room itself was comfortable. There was a bad smell in the building throughout (paint and then overaggressive air freshener), and one of the other guests seemed to have cooked with onions, which wafted into our room. The walls weren't great, so there was a bit of noise in the building. We were on the top floor and the hotel or somebody was doing work on the roof, and dust fell into our room a couple times.

• Tracey (5/5): - The location was great for seeing the city and beach. We walked almost everywhere. Enjoyed sitting on the rooftop at night having drinks and snacks we brought. The bed was mostly comfortable. The location was terrible for actually sleeping. We stayed in Room 101 and would definitely recommend against this room. It is closest to the square and above a bar. The noise went all night and morning from 9pm to 5am and was so loud even ear plugs did not help. The bed was mostly comfortable but the pull out sofa was very uncomfortable.

• Susann (6/5): Wenn einen Lärm beim schlafen nicht stört dann unbedingt buchen. - Die Zimmer sind super ausgestattet und sauber. Zu Fuss ist die Lage sehr zentral. Es ist zu laut. Von draußen hört man die Leute grölen (hauptsächlich nachts) und zu den Nachbarzimmern ist es nicht isoliert. Ohropax/Loops sind notwendig, wenn man schlafen möchte.

• David (7/5): Juste pour une petite nuit - Emplacement idéal Chambre spacieuse, propre et très bien équipée. Personnel accueillant Belle décoration Enregistrement compliqué, ce n'est pas un véritable hôtel, il faut se rendre à l'accueil d'un autre établissement. Nous avons été contraints de nous rendre sur place alors qu'il pleuvait énormément. A notre arrivée, le personnel ne retrouvait pas notre réservation après 30 minutes de recherche, c'était bon puis nous avons fait le retour sous une averse avec des bagages trempés ... La chambre se située au-dessus d'un club avec de la musique très forte... De plus nous entendions beaucoup le bruit des voisins à côté et au dessus. Donc c'est très mal insonorisé ! De plus la chambre au 1er étage est très sombre, il faut allumer la lumière en permanence de nuit comme de jour. La vue par la fenêtre est lugubre, on y voit que des bâtiments délabrés ou abandonnés. C'est une chambre juste pour dormir une nuit, si on n'est pas sensible au bruit. Il n'y a presque pas de lumière naturelle pour les chambres du 1er étage.

• Melissa (9/5): Posizione ottima, stanza pulita e molto comoda - La posizione della struttura è molto strategica, perché oltre ad essere vicino alla fermata della metro è anche in una zona in cui c'è molta vita, si possono raggiungere a piedi La Rambla, il Quartiere Gotico e il Mercat de la Boqueria. L'unico problema della camera era la temperatura, poiché la stanza era fredda e non abbiamo trovato il modo di attivare il riscaldamento. Tuttavia non abbiamo neanche notificato la struttura di questo perché non abbiamo soggiornato a lungo

• Chanel (7/5): Goede ligging, maar als de puntjes op de i gezet worden kom ik graag nog eens terug. - Fijne ligging, mooie kamers en fijn dat je geen pasje of sleutel hoeft te gebruiken maar een code op de deur. Fijn groot bed. Wij hadden de standard room en vonden deze ruim met een ruime badkamer met dubbele wastafel. Super stijlvol. Helaas leek de vloer niet gedweild. Overal zag je vlekken in de vloer. In de badkamer lag er nog een haar op de wastafel. En tijdens onze laatste nacht ging om 17.00 het brandalarm af waardoor iedereen beneden in de hal stond. Bij het uitchecken gaf de receptionist aan dat het een fout is in hun brandalarm en dat ze ermee bezig zijn…
• Jodie (10/5): Highly recommend to stay here - Highly recommend. We didn't book a high end room but the room we got was beautiful. Great size and plenty of room to move. Great size bed and bathroom. Fantastic location in the Gothic Quarter. Easy walk to everything and great restaurants all around. Staff were very easy to communicate with and the instructions on checking in were very helpful.

• Victoria (7/5): - Personalul foarte amabil și ajutător. Dacă aveți planificat zborul devreme, trebuie să știți ca zona este destul de periculoasă și noaptea este periculos de ieșit pe acea stradă. Vă recomandăm să chemați taxi de la recepția hotelului. În prima cameră în care eram cazați era un miros puternic de la sistemul de canalizare, dar ne-a fost schimbată pe o altă cameră fără așa probleme. În noua cameră nu era curățat wc-ul.

Room was beautiful and quiet Very small room, half of it taken up by a L-shaped entry hall. Bed was beautiful but hard mattress and pillows. Bathroom door a foot from the bed so no privacy. For the price we could have found better

• Deirdre (4/5): It’s a fine place to stay if you plan to stay up late and don’t plan to spend much time in your room. - The location was good if you’re okay with the night life. The room was big enough and the balcony was very nice. There is also a great roof deck. It was nice to have a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Staff was very nice and helpful. The bed was very hard but didn’t impact our sleep as much as the noise from the alleyway and nearby square. It was also difficult to be in our room for extended periods because there was an overwhelming sewage smell emanating from the bathroom shower and sink. The entryway also had a strong stale/musty odor.
• Alison (10/5): Highly recommended - Just about to leave this lovely hotel & I would definitely stay again. Fabulous location just off Plaça Rieall, which is full of lovely Tapas bars. I had to check in after midnight, due to my late flight, but was given instructions on how to do this. I checked in at Hotel California (3min walk from Hotel Hamsa) & was greeted by the friendly night security. Once he’d checked me in, he walked me over to my hotel, showed me how to use the keypad to get in & also took me right to my room (I was travelling alone). The room was a decent size with a lovely bathroom & comfortable bed, plus everything else you would expect & need. There is a nice roof terrace if you want to sit out. Although I didn’t see any staff during my stay, I did have contact details if needed. It can be a bit noisy, with being in a city centre, but a pair of earplugs soon sort that. I have enjoyed my stay & would definitely return. Shower floor can be slippy, maybe a non slip bathmat would help.

Kesinlikle kisa zaman gelenler icin muhtesem bir konumda. Personel anlayisli, gec check-out rica ettik, izin verdiler! Cok tesekkur ederiz. Her sey harika, yalnizca aksamlari hafif bir ses olabiliyor. Bence sehir merkezinde konakladigimiz icin oldukca normal:)

• Anna (10/5): Such a lovely, comfortable, vibrant place - Good looking renovated design, comfortable, clean. Great location, great staff, the room is full with bathroom necessities, flip flops, Bathrobe, hairdryer, kettle, everything you need. Very cute small balcony. The staff is so friendly and nice, helped us with everything, loved everything.

• Jo (10/5): - Fabulous location in the Gothic Quarter. So many restaurants just outside in the Placa Reial. The room was lovely, really comfy and everything you need included. There is a lift too if you don't want to face the stairs! Theres no reception at the hotel, but the sister hotel is only 2min walk away and the reception staff there were brilliant. We checked in late and they walked us over to Hamsa Nothing! It was brilliant.

• Chloë (10/5): Eén van mijn lievelings verblijven in Barcelona!! - Super mooi gebouw, de kamers voelen zo gezellig aan. Je voelt je er helemaal op je gemak, zeker als je alleen reist zoals ik! Het ligt aan placa reial, beter kan het niet zijn! Het personeel is ook top! Super lief en staan altijd voor je klaar via whatsapp Niks! Het was geweldig

• Spohlander (9/5): Vackert rum med bra läge - Har väldigt bra läge intill Ramblas och Lucie station. Trillar ut intill ett vackert torg med flertalet bra restauranger. Välstädat och fräscht. Fantastisk service från receptionisten/-erna av California Hotel. Kan varmt rekommendera boendet. Ingen renovering denna gång, men kvällsdunk från klubben bredvid inget som störde oss dock men förstår om folk som väcks lätt. Däremot lakan även om de var tjocka och mysigt att lägga sig i dem så andas de inte så bra så man vaknade dyblöt av svett och inte kunde man kasta av täcket för då var det för kallt. Men i bästa fall var det bara fel på oss. Sen knarra sängen så fort man vände sig i den. Vi hade lite strul med koderna till port och dörr men som tidigare nämnt så räddas det upp av den fantastiska personalen och deras service.
• Christina (9/5): So pleasantly surprised at the high standard of everything - Amazing location (without too much outside noise), beautiful room, lovely staff, well-stocked supplies! The only slight negative was that the corridors smelt a little like drains. Everything else was wonderful so I wouldn’t let this affect if you stay.
• Jasmin (10/5): - Das Hotel war sehr sauber. Unser Zimmer war größer als erwartet. Es bot alles, was man brauchte, um dich wohl zu fühlen. Die Lage war sehr zentral in der Nähe der Ramblas. Auch ein Check-in nach 12 Uhr Mitternacht wurde möglich gemacht. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen.
