Guest Reviews
- Diane (8/5): - Location was good. The host was very friendly and helpful.
- Jennifer (10/5): Tiny cottage, big success and happy trip! - We had an absolutely marvelous time staying at this adorable property. The owner Albia is an absolute gem of a human being and is so incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful. Our trip got delayed multiple times (on the way down AND on the way home) with all of the TSA airport /storm delay flight issues. She was so understanding and accommodating. We had such a wonky travel itinerary and she was able to change plans twice in order to get us checked in. She is super responsive and communicative and I feel like I made a friend for life!!
The property itself is lovely, private, and so comfortable. It's beautifully furnished with everything you could need. The master bed and loft beds were so comfortable and our daughter loved having her own cool space to hang out in! The kitchenette is well stocked if you want to cook something and the dining space was great. The patio area was lovely to hang out and listen to the waterfall. It is private with the fencing and felt very secure. The neighborhood is very quiet and it is a short drive to town to go shopping or get food.
It was an incredibly positive experience and I would recommend this spot to anyone. I am trying to come up with reasons to visit Florida again just so we can stay here ♥️ If you are very nice, you might even get to try her Cuban coffee or meet her wonderful dog Max 🐶 Our travel plans got shortened and we weren't able to stay as long as planned due to airline issues, no fault of the host! She was amazing and so was the site. 10/10!!
- Iris (8/5): I enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean and tidy. The host awas awesome. - Loved the front porch, where you can sit and hang out. The inside was very clean and had everything I needed. The only thing I would have liked if I had more closet space for the clothes and suitcases.
- Wendy (10/5): The Tiny Cottage was quiet, roomier than a hotel room, and in a perfect location! - My daughter had a dance competition at the local high school. We had never stayed in the area and were surprised by how easy it was to go everywhere we needed to go. Everything was between five and eight minutes away. The host was willing to help with anything we needed. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. The patio was quaint and private. And the area seemed very safe. N/A
- Charandeo (10/5): It's a really nice place - The place is awesome 👌
- Davis (10/5): It was fucking Amaze-balls!!!! The host was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of the area. - Everything! Beautiful place, the host was attentive, helpful, and friendly. The unit was great! Private, clean, a beautiful porch and garden area! I was impressed with the amenities and everything with this tiny house. Nothing. Not a damn thing. It is prime location for both east coast beaches and theme parks. Neverminding the vibrant local culture. It is a beautiful place, in a quiet, safe place.
- Alex (9/5): Property manager was very nice and helpful for making our stay fun and pleasant. - The cottage was cozy and comfortable. Very enjoyable.
- Olaf Håkon (10/5): -
- Julia (10/5): Excellent - Everything
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tiffani (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kiera (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michele (10/5): Adorable place and much larger than you might expect! - The place is adorable! I could live in it full-time :-). It had everything we needed, and more. The hostess was also very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. The neighborhood is a little noisy - but that is not the hostesses fault.
- Ardi (9/5): Nice place would recommend - Nice little house with everything You need. Hostess Albia is very friendly and helpful.
- Scot (10/5): Absolutely perfect I highly recommend for couples or if you just want to hang out. - It’s very private u can sit on the porch and talk. Play cards whatever you like. It’s off the main road but close enough to everything. All good
- Candace (8/5): We had a great time and albia was a great host. - Loved the privacy of having a fence surrounding cottage That we didn’t use the second room because it was only crawl space. Good for children not adults
- Janelle (10/5): Exceptional - I loved everything! The host was amazing and super responsive. The space was beautiful and clean. It is hard for Doordash and other delivery people to find.
- Batista (8/5): It was a nice stay, we enjoyed it. - The cottage was adorable and cute. It was very helpful to have been texted instructions on our stay. It was just nice having everything listed so I can check off what to do and what not to do. From the beginning to the end of our stay. I really enjoyed getting messages from the owner to make sure everything was ok and if we need anything to send her a message. The bed was comfy, and it was wonderful to have blankets since I always get cold and always have to make the room cold cuz my boyfriend always gets hot. So I LOVED the blankets they were extremely cozy. Everything in the bathroom so was neat. The towels were wrapped in a cute fancy way which I liked. It was my boyfriend and I anniversary so since we had some outside plans for the day we decided to cook and was so awesome to have the stove top. All in all it was a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed it and felt very welcome. Definitely would recommend the stay and thinking already of coming back one day. Really enjoyed my stay didn’t even have issues.
- Slav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maxim (7/5): Good -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristian (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice setup, very friendly guest, beautiful patio, excelent service.
- Lea (5/5): Disappointed with the customer service received - It was a pretty cottage. I didn’t like that the snacks were not complimentary and it was our responsibility to keep track of the snacks we consumed and pay via cash app. I didn’t like that it was advertised as a queen size bed when in reality it was a full size bed. It is also not a 2 bedroom cottage. It is more like a studio garden unit with a loft that had two twin size mattresses on the floor with no bed rail where the loft was located and a full size bed with no privacy. It didn’t have a door to consider it a bedroom it was all together with the living room and kitchen. Moreover, I didn’t appreciate Albia sending me check out instructions at 9am while I was sleeping that were sent the day we arrived (no need to reiterate instructions) the day we were leaving. Mind you this is the message I woke up to expecting us to take out the garbage, remove the linens, unplug the coffee maker turn off all the lights, value the service we received and quality of her place “according to Alibia” when she charges $35 per day for cleaning services that only occurred the day we left. If you expect a tip you need to learn to service your customers and not expect so much from them to do your job. If you’re placing snacks in the unit make them complimentary so the customers feel a warm welcome. I honestly expected better service being that Albia was so kind at the beginning. To our surprise she was rude and condescending.
- Kristy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional - Very peaceful, wonderful host Just missing a toaster and tea kettle
- Breanna (10/5): Perfect tiny home - Everything was absolutely perfect. The host was super friendly and welcomed my husband and I right away. She stayed in touch with me the whole time since we was traveling over 10 hours. Once we got settled in she again checked on us. There a bottle of wine waiting when we arrived, extra blankets, and snacks. Cozy and comfortable for sure. Will stay again for sure No complaints
- Tiffany (10/5): Wonderful place to stay! - There are actually so many nice things to say about this place. The host is super kind and always available. The place is beautifully decorated with everything you might need even an iron hair dryer. I am very sensitive to scented items and there are no harsh chemicals or scents. Even the soaps and lotions she provides are not overly scented. I was surprised to learn there was a cleaning fee but it’s only $25 which seems fair. Your stay here will inspire you to consider building your own tiny house! I am definitely taking some of Alvia‘s decorating ideas. 😘
- Tracy (10/5): Very nice place to stay - Very cute property! Very comfortable and beautifully decorated Albia was great!
- W. (9/5): Was PERFECT for our needs. Albia is a great hostess. - Albia responded to us promptly and ensured we could access the unit when we arrived.
- Janelle (10/5): This was a great property that accommodated four of us very well. We never felt like we were in an enclosed space. Every - The tiny house was wonderful. It had a nice little kitchen area that we could make our meals before we went out to the amusement parks. We had two teenage girls with us that slept up in the loft. They absolutely loved it! For a tiny house, they had a nice big bathroom and shower. Coming into the front entrance of the home was very resort like. We had our own entrance to come in and out and a fenced in area to give us privacy. Our hostess, Albia, was wonderful! She accommodated everything very well for us. Very sweet! We would definitely go back to this property again! The property was great!
- Susan (10/5): - This was the cutest Tiny house ever! The owner was super nice and attentive. If there is anything negative to say, its the loft area is definitely made for little people. Highly recommend if you are looking for quaint and homey.
- Liza (10/5): - This an adorable tiny house in a neighborhood with an average amount of traffic noise. It is a quick drive to the airport. The bedding is clean and white. The downstairs bed is very comfortable (I didn’t try the upstairs beds). The pantry and fridge are stocked with affordable snacks. There is even oat creamer for the Keurig. The host is quick to respond with help to texts. The bathroom is small with a lovely shower. I used up all the hot water kind of quickly-well 10 minutes. I loved the towels, face clothes, toiletries, the white robes and sanitized slippers. The tv is difficult for me to work, but I think it was just my fault. There is a cute electric fireplace that makes me feel cozy. I could easily stay here with my family for multiple days.
I feel so safe with the tall fence that locks. I enjoyed sitting out front where no one could see me (when the sun finally came out). Overall I highly recommend this property to families up to 4 (5 if auntie wants to sleep on the leather couch)
- Kelly (10/5): - Very cute property. Good communication with owner.
- Anastasia (10/5): Very nice place to stay - I really like this place, this is the second time I have booked here. I do consider it whenever I travel to the area.
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and efficiently designed. Quiet and super comfortable. Albia is warm and welcoming and goes the extra mile with snacks, drinks, kitchen appliances and hygiene products. This tiny home was designed and set up with very thoughtful, considerate details and is a true gem.
- Luis (10/5): Nice little cottage - Stay was amazing. Cozy and beautiful for a couple. Albia was easy to reach and very informing on the cottage and things in the area.. will definitely stay here again.
- Hashley (10/5): - The host was so nice ! Property was outstanding. Super cozy & great amenities.
- Ralph (10/5): - Cute place in a quite neighborhood, very cozy and private. Staff was available if you needed anything or had any questions. It met my needs for does days cause it was near to where i had to go. Thanks for a pleasant experience
- Anastasia (10/5): A new favorite - Really charming little place, excellent service.
- Christine (10/5): - needed a night to stay while we moved my son into his new place
cute and quaint
lovely host
- Kory (2/5): - I booked this space for three nights and left after only one night. This space was cleaned with a toxic cleaning agent that was not cleared up properly with water afterwards. The floor was sticky with it. After I left, I had to wipe down my luggage to get it off. I had a reaction to the chemical and notified the owner after waking up from sleep suffocating.
She came over and agreed to me leaving and to refund the remaining two days. She informed me that her previous guests had made a mess so she used too much cleaning agent. I arrived at 12:15 am and was gone by 9:30 am save day. I traveled for two days internationally and just needed some rest. This place was not restful.
Expedia notified me that she refused to return the remaining two days. The cancellation policy allows me to cancel with a one night penalty, which would have been fine, but to steal a person's money, that's not fine. To lie to a customer, that's not fine.
- Jill (10/5): - The cottage was amazing! The accommodations went beyond our expectations. Our host made sure everything was just right. The cottage was beautiful and well appointed. Outdoors was a patio with a porch to relax on while listening to the water trickling in the pond. The property was secure with a privacy fence around it. We were there briefly to see family so being able to come and go at our leisure was great. If we have the opportunity to return this will be the only place we stay.
- Eleanor (10/5): Treat yourself to a wonderful hideaway - This tiny house is beautiful inside and out. The tall fence surrounding it makes for a completely private oasis. The outdoor area includes a beautiful, calming water feature, a barbecue grill, and rocking chairs on the porch. The inside is artfully decorated and appointed. The queen bed downstairs is comfortable, there is a coffeemaker and microwave, as well as dishes, silverware, and glassware. There is a large assortment of snacks and beverages to purchase. The bathroom has everything you might need, including bathrobes to use and lots of toiletries. You’ll love the the rainfall shower head. The loft upstairs is quite low, and would be a challenge for all but the smallest adults. The two beds are comfortable, and it’s a great place for kids. We were enchanted by this space, and definitely plan to stay here again. You’ll never find anything prettier.
- Ada (10/5): Florida vacation - What a wonderful place to stay! It was totally worth every penny. It was comfortable, clean, it felt like home. The owner was attentive and gracious. She kept in communication with us at all times making sure we were doing good and if we needed anything. This is great for a couple or a small family. The two beds and the space upstairs is best for small children. If you want to feel at home during vacation then this small house is your place. We would definitely return and recommend this rental.
- Wendy (10/5): Great stay at Tiny Cottage - We loved the tiny cottage. Its very cute. Well appointment. Friendly and accommodating owner. Really cute good location in Altimonte Springs.
- Dianne (10/5): Fabulous! - The Tiny Cottage is amazing.
Albia, the host is lovely and an amazing host.
The breakfast she serves can't be beat.
The property is very private and safe. The cottage is so cozy. clean and quiet.
We stayed for three nights. I would live there if I could!
- David (10/5): Great cottage stay! - Cottage is adorable and clean and was very spacious for two of us. It’s in a relatively quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed the walk to a local brewery since the weather was so lovely. Host is very nice & welcoming.
- Juan (10/5): - The cottage was beautiful! Nice and secluded, very well maintained and wonderfully decorated. Amazing landscape and a lovely relaxing view while outside on the porch, We couldn't have picked a better place to go and relax in for our wedding night!
- Sharon (10/5): Oh my goodness! - The Tiny Cottage is beyond absolutely wonderful! I was in awe of the ambience (even had a cozy electric fireplace) and cleanliness. The outside courtyard area is meticulous and beautiful which is where I enjoyed the best breakfast (which included bacon cooked to perfection and medley of fresh fruit) I’ve had in years. It was served with lovely tableware and and a warm and friendly hostess. I left with a big smile, relaxed and refreshed - planning my next stay!
- Pilar (10/5): Super Clean and very friendly - would stay again - A wonderful stay for us ! The cottage was super clean and we enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast was provided (delivered) by the host and was outstanding ! (small extra fee well worth it) - our host was so friendly and helpful. This was perfect for us as a couple and I would definitely stay here again
