- Sankhadeep (1/5): It was an extremely distressing experience, especially while traveling with a baby. - Nothing, horrible experience. Don't book this hotel at all. Our experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. We arrived around midnight with an infant, only to be told the AC was broken, and we were sent to search for other hotels for an hour. When we returned, the receptionist started speaking loudly and arguing about why he couldn't give us a room. After a long, stressful wait, we finally got a room at 2 AM—small, dirty, smelly, and with almost no amenities. Things got even worse after we checked out. The hotel cancelled our booking afterwards and even threatened us with false allegations.

The Plumbing needs a little tlc for around $15 aud My bathroom would have been 4.5 star instead of 3 Amateur sealant application around the sink did not allow the cleaners a nice surface to clean, Part of the shower head holder missing so had to be hand held all the time. the filter on the tap was blocked causing a very slow flow of water. room 502

- Thomas (6/5): Pleasant - Location was very convenient and staff helpful The walls to adjoining rooms are very thin , both nights I stayed there , a neighbor talking very loudly on his phone for very long period of times , only thing I could hear was a loud voice talking, over shadowing the television I was watching in my room and even taking a shower, his menacing loud voice , his room next to mine. The television set had a deflected screen, hardly could watch any tv viewing because of a screen defect . I will not booking a stay anytime soon with Felix hotel.

- Brita (6/5): Comfortable and cheap in an authentic alleyway location - Authentic feeling and hidden in a twisting turning alleyway system, this hotel was a cheap stay in a busy city for us. About 15 min walk to the market and siagon centre and had some interesting small vendors in the alleyways plus east bank access for cash withdrawal and a 7/11. The hotel rooms themselves are darky and more dingy than the photos let in and it is really showing its age. The tap under the bathroom sink was leaking all over the floor, the tv didn’t work and there was a dirty bath mat left and mould in the silicone around the sink. Overall however for the price it was a decent stay. Don’t be fooled by the early check in advertisement though, they didn’t allow for that and I saw plenty of other people also hanging out. In the lobby and suitcases stored as they didn’t get it either and that was the main reason we chose that hotel.

It was really disappointing that I forgot the above items for only a few hours and couldn't find them. It was just a used sweater and sunglasses. I won't come back here because I don't feel safe when I'm here.

- KATSUHIRO (6/5): - 大通りから少し入ったところにホテルは有りますが立地は良いと思います。 ホテルを探して歩いているとおばさまがホテルの方向を指さしてくれます。 どこの細道もバイクが猛スピード走ってきます。 ベンタイン市場まで徒歩で２０分弱です。 タクシーに乗らずに目の前の公園を通って歩いていくのも気持ち良いです。 レストランもコンビニも近くにたくさんあります。 ホテルにエレベーター有り。 室内にはwifi有り。 シャワーの水圧は良好です。 トイレには紙は流したらダメです。 頼めば室内クリーニングはしてくれます。 同時に水を人数分置いてくれます。 冷蔵庫のものは有料ですが、値段は聞いていません。 エアコンも良く効いてました。 静かな室内では外部が暑い世界とは感じません。 フロントも心地よい対応をしてくれました。 総合的に値段相応で良いホテルです。

- Collier (10/5): Super would go back again pleasant staff nothing to hard. - Felix is hard to find but due to that fact it is quiet in the evening except for guests that may let their door close a little hard. This is easy to do as the doors are substantial. You cannot hear the music from the walking street. The towels were passed there use by date. But I expect they are rotated in from a supplier. So I would suggest removing some from circulation. Had a few little micro spiders but with the help of the cleaner we sorted them out for the rest of my 10 night stay.

This is very affordable and can do impromptu tour package as travel agencies were just around the corners. TV and some sockets is not working

The staff is friendly and accommodating. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and in the lobby. There were no windows in our room, the couch was so dirty, it felt uncomfortable, unfortunately.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - The room was great, clean, always smelled beautiful and fresh, we were always provided with fresh towels, bottled water and coffee and the bed was always so crisp. the location, at first was difficult to find, but ended up being amazing as we were so close to everything whilst not being able to hear any of the commotion. What made it for us was the staff, we met 3 lovely staff members on our stay (unfortunately we did not get their names, but we stayed from the 25th-29th jan 2025). we have stayed at over 15 hotels on our 6 week travel and this one was outstanding. they were so kind, accommodating, and wanting to help in any way possible. They even went as far as to park our bike and wheel it back up the ramp almost every time we wanted to leave, because they could tell we were struggling. They truly made this hotel :)

- Huong (4/5): - The hotel's receptionist was nice and tried to help but unfortunately the hotel rooms for this location and a nearby location werent clean and I really feel like paying overprice while not having a good sleep. The location is nice with good food and locals, fortunately.
- Heike (8/5): Very good - Clean, quiet hotel with lift. Comfortable beds. Room sizes vary a lot. The showers do not run off. I had to clean about 1 cm of gunge out, to make the water fun off. Make it part of the cleaning of the room, to clean the drains out. Also, the early check in does not exist. We booked a room especially with free early check in, as our train arrived at 06:50, but actually were only allowed to check in at the usual time. Our friends even later. Apparently, it depends on when people check out , which is logical. But then just don't offer it!! People book it, because it is important to them.

- Chin (10/5): Exceptional - Thank you so much to the front desk staff for their excellent service, helping us with the payment and allowing a late check-out. The room was comfortable and clean, with a great location close to the long-distance bus pick-up and drop-off points, as well as the most vibrant nightlife area in Ho Chi Minh City. There are plenty of street food options nearby. If I visit Ho Chi Minh City again, I will definitely choose this accommodation.
- G (8/5): Great hotel on HCM for the price and location - The check in employee was great. He was very helpful. The room was more spacious than other hotels in HCM we stayed at in the past. The bathroom was in a separate room was really nice. Despite not having windows, we didn't feel as constricted as in other hotels. For the price, it exceeded our expectations and was more comfortable than expected. The location was inside a small street and at first we were lost and couldn't figure out where it was.

They need to be better at making sure people are quiet at a certain time, walls were thin and we could hear shouting at midnight and early hours. Then at 6 am someone decided to leave their door wide open with their TV loud??? This has happened a few times on our Asia trip. It’s very strange and rude. Please tell customers to be more considerate of others. DO NOT USE THEIR LAUNDRY SERVICE. Our clothes weren’t washed with soap and they didn’t smell anymore fresh than they were when we sent them. Also multiple items came back with damage to them which is annoying.

It is near key attractions and is accessible using public transportation, such as Grab Car and motorbike. However, it is important to note that the property itself is located inside an alleyway. Upon reaching the lobby, there are also three steps that you need to take into consideration if you are bringing a lot of things. The room that I was assigned in on my first nigh had a faulty air-conditioning system. So, I had a hard time sleeping at that time. I requested to be transferred to a different room and my request was granted. I managed to stay in another room that had good air-conditioning. However, since it was located on the fourth floor, the internet connection was not stable. Speaking of internet connection, the service was not good throughout my stay. It kept disconnecting and was just generally unstable. The hotel is also quite old. The elevator is similar to the ones we used in the 90s. The hotel amenities are not that clean. For instance, there are stains in the bathroom and the towels did not appear to be very clean. If you do not mind any of these and you are looking for a very cheap place to stay in, you should go and book in this hotel. Otherwise, I would recommend spending a few more dollars and staying in a different property. The location of the hotel is superb. - Andabr (4/5): VERY VERY DISSAPOINTING AND HOTEL - Booked Deluxe double but gave us a dirty twin bed room. The hotel is hidden inside and poor service. The bathroom drain was very poor, the linen was dirty and smelling, very old and poor rooms. In the booking.com website, it shows nice rooms, This is the problem with booking.com, anybody can put a nice picture in order to get customers, which is not business in face it is cheating. Booking.com just worry about their commission, they hardly care about the comfort or cleanliness of the hotel. Lucky the demand is there in Ho Chi Minh city, anyone can sell room because high demand. Booking.com must look into the comments and take action against the hotels, at least linen, smell and cleanliness of the hotel. They should block these kind hotels in the system until they fix the issues. Very very very disappointed with booking.com for including such bad quality hotel, should not only work for commission, mentioned above

The tap a bit difficult to change from the upper and lower one but it’s still okay
- SEAN (6/5): Decent & affordable hotel. - Hotel is down an alley away from the noise of the busy street. Clean room & decent water pressure. Plenty of food options at the doorstep & beer drinking street only a 2 minute walk away. My room had no window, but that wasn’t a negative. Staff are warm, friendly & speak English. Best to have data & google maps when first finding the hotel.

As we arrived the hotel at 10am, we able to store our luggage while touring the city. Seperate toilet and shower but no levering, thus the water is overflow to the walking area.

Pictures made it look nicer than it was. I paid only $7 more a night at a different hotel that was 10x better.
