- Alice (2/5): Disappointing experience and very unservice-minded handling. - The stay was expensive to begin with, and on top of that we were required to pay an additional £500 security deposit, which we were told would be released within 24 hours after check-out. However, two months later the deposit still has not been refunded, which is extremely concerning and reflects very poor and unprofessional handling.
We also ended up staying only 2 out of 5 nights due to an ongoing property-related issue — a loud intermittent gargling noise coming from the kitchen — which was acknowledged and reported to building management. This is something that would have affected any guest and would have needed to be fixed regardless.
Despite the disrupted and shortened stay, we were still charged an additional £50 for late arrival, and then told that £150 would be “compensation”, essentially offset against extra charges. Charging penalties and fees under these circumstances feels unfair and not aligned with reasonable guest expectations. A more service-minded approach would have been to waive the surcharges entirely and resolve the deposit refund promptly.

Il soggiorno e la cucina sono grandi e ben arredati, perfetti per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di esplorazione. I letti sono comodissimi e i 2 bagni sono un vero lusso. Ma il vero punto forte è il terrazzo panoramico: la vista sulla città è semplicemente mozzafiato! Il proprietario è stato molto disponibile e l'appartamento è esattamente come descritto. Lo consiglio vivamente!
