• ALLAN (8/5): Boa opção - Foi melhor do que esperava, o quarto estava limpo e bem conservado. Eu já sabia que não é um hotel, portanto, não espere serviços de hotel porque eles não oferecem, não é a proposta. Se for apenas para dormir, achei uma boa opção de custo-benefício, especialmente, para quem vai participar de eventos no CCIB.

• Sabine (6/5): - Gute Anbindung in die City, Strand fußläufig, größeres Einkaufszentrum in der Nähe, Café Caprichio vor dem MiCampus sehr zu empfehlen. Umgebung fängt in den Nebenstraßen an zu kippen (unsicher). Im Hotel wurde die 3 Tage nicht gereinigt. Dafür gibt es eine Dachterrasse mit kleinem Pool und Gym. Einfach, aber ok. Preis recht hoch.
• KIERAN (8/5): - I used to really love this place a couple of years back, but sadly over the last two years I’ve noticed the property and room conditions keep getting worse with each stay. The main pro is definitely the cost if you’re looking for a private room in Barcelona—it’s hard to find cheaper. But beyond the price, the quality and upkeep just aren’t what they used to be, which is disappointing.
• Filippo (6/5): - Siendo residencia para estudiantes, es bien moderna con muchos servicios como parqueo, gym, cafeteria y espacio para trabajar. Lamentablemente la limpieza de la primera habitacion ha sido mala, he encontrado muchas ormigas por el piso que en cima entraban en la cama, piso sucio. Me cambiaron la habitacion y la segunda cierto estaba bien limpia. Tambien buscaba un secador y solo tienen 6 secadores por una residencia de 12 plantas con 15 o mas habitaciones por planta.

La pequeña cantina ofrece un ambiente acogedor y una selección de diferentes aperitivos dulces y salados con una muy buena relación calidad-precio. En resumen: ¡volveré con mucho gusto!

• Maranda (8/5): Great for the money - My flight got in at 9am and I wasnt allowed to check-in until 4pm. I asked if early check-in was possible and I was told no. So, they offered to hold my bags while I figured out what to do for 7 hours. One of the older guys in the 'control' shirt spoke no English but was so incredibly hospitable. He made sure I could charge my phone and had wifi access. I ended up taking the bullet train to Madrid for the day. My stay was good, except I had to keep asking for a roll of toilet paper. But the room is clean and comfortable. The location is perfect too- right near multiple dining options and a grocery store. Uber drivers didnt have a hard time locating it.

• christine (6/5): Great space but admin is weird - Very convenient location. Pool on the roof was perfect for dipping in after a hot day. Room was great for a solo person, complete with utensils and tools to cook. It's very much an adult dorm vibe. A couple of awkward things was that I was trying to contact them via phone to see if I could drop off my luggage before my check in, and no one would answer via hotels.com site or answer the phone. Also I lost my card key (the cheap plastic kind) and they did not have any spares so someone had to let me into my room every time I left. And then they said they had to charge me 20 euros for losing it, which is ridiculous and I have never encountered that at any other hotel

Internett var heilt ok, dårleg deknikg av og til. Mikrobølgeøvn fungerte ikkje, svart mygg i veggene og tak på badet. Dei snakka engelsk og var venlige

• Igor (10/5): Clean and comfortable room by the sea - Very clean and cozy place. Small kitchen, AC in good order, supermarket around the corner. Yes, it’s a student residence but it was nearly empty and therefore quiet. Close to the museum of natural sciences and beaches (walking distance). Just across the road there is a poor neighborhood (Mina) but it offers excellent food options with Pakistani restaurants, fruit shops, hair salons (cheap and good haircut). A word of caution: Be careful on a beach in Barcelona - there is a lot of stealing. My shoes (sneakers) were stolen while I was walking barefoot along the water. People complained about stolen phones and clothes.

• Joaquin (2/5): - Worst experience ever. It's a "double" room but not both beds are made, although we clearly stated we were two people. Bathroom door was broken (slide door couldn't close) - you can imagine all things you can hear while the other is using the bathroom. No toilet paper, no soap. Know that it's a student campus trying to make extra money charging like a hotel and providing no service whatsoever.
• Luca (4/5): - The staff barely greeted people, the tonality was kind of unfriendly and this one receptionist almost seemed annoyed as sons as you talked to him. Must say, we were able to store our luggage so we could go around town until we could check in. There were 2 service people, the only ones that were nice. Over apl it seemed quite understaffed. Our room smelled of cigarettes because the vent was broken, we went into another room which was even worse. Third time was the charm luckily. We stayed for 6 days and some alarm went off in the middle of the night in 2 occasions. The pool water was cloudy. The area around was dirty, quite unsafe at night and it stank everywhere you went.

Lage und Gegend war ok, da sehr nahe vom Forum Festival Gelände und auch zu Restaurants und dem Diagonal Einkaufszentrum.

• Perrin (8/5): Bon séjour - Très propre, en tant qu’étudiante en voyage solo j’ai beaucoup aimé. Les espaces communs sont très propres et modernes. Un grand merci au réceptionniste et le vigile à l’entrée, très sympathique ! Le quartier n’est pas forcément très sage, mais on sent en sécurité dans le bâtiment.

• laura (4/5): - Huonetta ei käyty siivoamassa kertaakaan 4 päivän aikana ja puhtaita lakanoita ei ollut saatavilla kun myös pyyhkeitä ei vaihdettu. Siivooja kävi kerran sunnuntaina sillä välin kun olimme poissa ja oli rikkonut vain vesiputken ja vienyt kaikki minun käteiseni ja löytänyt ne kovistakin piiloista. Rahat olivat käteisenä ja useita satoja. Muuten plussaa omasta keittiöstä ja makuu paikat oli hyviä.

This was quickly resolved, where we were allotted an apartment with individual bedrooms and en-suites. A bit of a ways from the city centre but with great transport links, tram, bus and metro.

• BACHIR (10/5): Très propre et bien équipé. - Agréablement surpris par le MiCampus, la chambre est propre, bien équipée, c'est bien agencé car finalement on ne se sent pas à l'étroit, tout est à sa place. L'emplacement est bien, proche des transports et des commerces, attention quand même au quartier à côté pour aller à la station de métro Besos Mar, à éviter de passer par là le soir tard. Pour en revenir au MiCampus, j'ai apprécié mon séjour, je pense y revenir à l'occasion

Yo esperaba almenos eso pero nada. La reception son algo groseros al no saludar correctamente, y una actitud muy poca empatico, como si estuvieran haciendome un favor.

It felt odd interacting with resident students going about their day. Upon arrival, my cab driver sped through red lights, mentioning the area was dodgy. The location was hard to find on Google Maps, and at reception, a student (presumably) was struggling with a group booking. After waiting nearly an hour, I finally checked in, only to discover my room hadn’t been cleaned—dirty towels outside and trash inside. The reception staff moved me to a clean room, but the fridge was so noisy it gave me temporary tinnitus. Despite reporting it and filling out a form via QR code, the issue wasn't resolved. Additionally, the communal areas don't meet "hotel standards." Doors slam loudly, rain on the metal window sills sounds like popcorn popping, student parties are audible, and the air conditioning is either nonexistent or too cold. If you're looking for a bed for one to two nights and plan on just sleeping, this might work for you. If not, spend a few more pounds on a real hotel.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Unclean and dysfunctional - I checked in for a single person’s apartment. I thought that I would use the stove for my breakfast but it wasn’t functioning and the pans were nasty and unclean. There was no dishwashing soap or utilities either. I was given two towels for my 5 nights stay and no room service. The madras was alright but the pillow was horrible. I have had much better and cheaper hotels in Barcelona than this one. I will not return.

It would make sense to keep students on separate floors to those staying in the accommodation

• Hoi Tung (8/5): - It is very comfortable. I like the kitchen, the working table and the spacious room. The facilities such as the fitness area and study space are also quite good, the staffs are nice and helpful too.
• Nicolas (8/5): Nice Stay - It is a student residence which is very surprising when you arrive because i did not notice when I booked. However, the room was very clean with bathroom and kitchen, the building is brand New. It was a bit noisy but overall Nice for one night.

Clean little room, wasn't really clear on the listing that this is in fact university residences, but may have just been that I didn't read the fine print. Now that I have explored Barcelona I would stay closer to the Gothic quarter but the area of this property is still very good and I would still recommend staying there if you're on a budget and don't need nightlife as it is very accessible by public transit.
• Boris (2/5): - There is no Tv in the private room. Only clean once a week and the area is not so nice as close to the hotel there is a public assistance project and many drug addicts and probably thief's looking for something to stral. During the day is fine the problem is after 10 pm

• Paul (8/5): Weekend stay in budget university accommodation - This isn’t a hotel. You are staying in a spare students room within a university. The room itself was adequate with good shower in the en-suite. However as this is not a hotel there is no TV, no iron and most annoyingly no soap or shower gel. The accommodation is a metro ride or long walk away from central Barcelona but metro station only about 5 minute walk. Nearest beach 15- 20 min walk. Staff very friendly on reception and felt very secure staying there with security on the door. Felt safe at all times with a small supermarket nearby. Cheapest option for a solo traveller and if you’re happy to use the metro to get about, not really an inconvenience
• Gazal (8/5): - Tolle und saubere Unterkunft mit sehr netten hilfsreichen Personal. Meiner Meinung nach ist die Umgebung (insbesondere für den Transport) sehr gut. Für Urlauber*innen, die aber zum erstem Mal in Barcelona sind kann es zu weit von der Zentrale sein. Wichtiger Hinweis: Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Studentenwohnheim! Das bedeutet es gibt kein Personal was das Zimmer täglich sauber macht und keine Seife und Klopapier. Was zur Verfügung gestellt wird sind Handtücher und bezogene Bettwäsche. Der einzige Nachteil für mich war tatsächlich die Lautstärke. Man hat jeden Schritt vom Flur gehört und jedes Türknallen.

• LATHANIEL AMOS OLUWAFEMI (8/5): - Lovely accommodation which is actually for students, located just 15mins East of the centre of Barcelona on the Metro. It's in a residential working class neighbourhood so there isn't much shops or activities to do. Barcelona beach is a 15min walk too and there is a nearby shopping mall which is about 10mins walk (the nearest). Only negative I have is that when I asked the cleaner for Toilet Paper, she just responded 'Non', without explanation. I suspect the establishment does not provide this as it regards this as the guest(s) responsibility. Secondly, my bin was not emptied for the 4 nights I was there. The room smelt of cigarettes a bit. Apart from that, it was clean, new and modern.

• OGNJEN (4/5): - Overall, nothing special.... No daily room cleaning service. I was 9 days and had only once room cleaned. Only 3 towels available. No soap and shampoo available.... The pool is not the pool, just to say in short. Gym is just Ok, no enough equipment. Location is about 25 minutes by bus for main sightseeing areas in downtown. Beach is relatively close about 15 minutes walking distance, which is good. The hotel is just good for solo travelers who don't want to spend much time in the hotel and to be prepared to do a lot of walking and using public transportation. No breakfast or any food available in hotel. Overall the hotel is very basic and price of stay should be much lower.

The place itself was great, used the gym and the pool. Very close to the beach. The neighborhood is not high class, but it's also not anything dangerous. Great place to stay, especially if you have to work remotely, like I had to.

• Marc (10/5): - Fantastic welcome by everyone on the front desk, Explaining things really well and helping me to book local taxis and other requests. The rooms were brilliant. Everything clean and having a small kitchen really gives you the option of cooking or going out to eat. It was a really great space and I would suggest considering it as an option to hotels.

Outside the window in the middle of the night Spanish families fighting (maybe not every day but I had it). Very close to the CCIB 7-8 minutes walk.

Overall though, it is clean, the room has space and the front desk stuff are friendly. Also, it is secure. It is super close to Primavera Sound and I would stay there again, if I go to Primavera Sound next time.
