• Miller (10/5): Would come again and recommend to everyone. - We loved everything. From the pick up, to the key hand off, to the local history, to the neighborhood. Etc. everything was wonderful. The apt had all the amenities we could have asked for. Giancarlo was the best. We felt well taken care of and loved the area which was just a few minute walk to everything but far enough away to not feel so touristy. I would definitely return. There are only two sets of stairs. No big deal if you can climb. My 70 year old mother had no problem.

• Ivan (9/5): Wonderful! - The location was 10/10 - on a quiet, yet lively street (there is a little piazza outside), but not loud at all if the windows are closed. If we had a question, Giancarlo was always willing to help out. Inside is perfect for 4 people, it had almost eveything that you may need. The only downsides are the stairs ONLY IF you have small children and big suitcases and the lack of racks in the shower where you can put your soap etc.

• Romina (10/5): Ideal para una estadía en la hermosa Florencia PERFECTA ! - Nos encantó! La ubicación es excelente y el departamento tiene absolutamente todo. Cuando decimos todo, es todo: no falta nada, está pensado hasta en el más mínimo detalle. Sus anfitriones son geniales, siempre pendientes en todo momento detalle nuestras necesidades.
• Bowen (9/5): Great place to stay for comfort, and locations - great location to all the attractions both north and south of the river, there is conad supermarket within 3 mins walking, everything about the accommendation was great. Just be aware of the steep stairs to get to the floor as it is quite normal here. Not issue, but just be aware that weekend below the apartment might be a bit busy with people socialising, but once the windows are closed, can not hear anything at all (good double glazing windows all over) and once the shops are closed, back to quiet.
• Mary (10/5): A Perfect Refuge in the best part of Firenze - I honestly hesitate to share just how amazing this apartment is — only because I want to make sure it’s available the next time I’m in Firenze! The location couldn’t be better. Tucked away just enough to feel like a peaceful escape from the busy city, yet everything you could possibly want is right on your doorstep — fantastic bars, incredible restaurants, the best gelato and schiacciata in Firenze. The apartment itself is small but perfectly comfortable for four adults. A perfect base for exploring the city — can’t wait to come back! Getting bags upstairs was difficult and parking expensive but that’s Firenze. Looks better in real life than the pictures.

• CELSO (7/5): Repetiría. Me gustaba el ambiente del barrio - Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación y limpieza del apartamento. Los dos tramos de escalera hasta llegar al apartamento. Aunque te acabas acostumbrando.
• Aranzazu (9/5): Escapada a Florencia - La ubicación, cerca del Ponte Vechhio y todo el centro histórico. La comunicación con el propietario, las camas era cómodas. Gracias por el café, y por estar atento a todo Giancarlo. La plaza donde está el apartamento tiene sitios para desayunar, comer y una heladería con un helado estupendo. Las escaleras son bastante empinadas, pero si no tienes problemas de movilidad no es inconveniente.
• Aleksandra (10/5): - I traveled with my family (3 adults and 1 child - 4 years old). The apartment was clean and cosy, equipped with all necessary things. The owner was really helpful with directions to the apartment and arranging storage for our luggage since we had a late train. The location of the apartment is super convenient - downstairs there was a panetteria, a gelateria, and a restaurant with local cuisine. Even though the square downstairs was busy during the day, it was calm and quiet at night. Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery are just a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay there!
• Greta (9/5): Ottimo - Per iniziare la posizione è veramente centrale , a due passi da ponte vecchio e palazzo Pitti .. si ha tutto a portata di mano , bar , ristoranti , supermercati e fermata dell’autobus. Per quanto riguarda l’appartamento è piccolino ma è pulito ( quando siamo entrati si sentiva il profumo di detersivo ) ben arredato , ben attrezzato e i letti sono comodi. Siamo rimasti colpiti nel vedere tutto quello che ci avevano lasciato a disposizione: tantissime cialde di caffè ( solitamente in altre strutture ho sempre trovato una cialda contata per notte ) , acqua fresca nel frigorifero, qualsiasi tipo di saponi/ detersivi , spazzolino e dentifricio incartati (noi lo avevamo dimenticato per fortuna lo abbiamo trovato) Consiglio veramente questa struttura

• Sabine (6/5): Great location in the best area of Florence! - Perfect location and good size Beds are very hard, the door handle to bathrooms either came off or you couldn’t close properly, food smell and noises from a restaurant kitchen nearby in the large bedroom, the kitchen stove lighter didn’t work and most of all that there was no one to help with our simple issues as they said that no one works weekends. Interior decorating is so so. Don’t miss out to eat at Quattro Leoni in the Piazza Della Passera just nearby. PS! One hell of a nice and good looking Italian blonde guy that leaves you the keys though! ;)

• Huckabaa (10/5): We would stay again. - Excellent location. The best café, gelato (Gelateria Della Passera), and restaurant (Trattoria 4 Leoni), just downstairs. Easy walk to ponte vechio, 20 min walk to train station, longer with luggage. I recommend a taxi. Shopping nearby and near Uffizi and Galileo Museums. Never needed a taxi. Very clean with plenty of clean linens. I love the sounds of the city, and I enjoyed the windows open. However, when closed, it was very silent. I would like to have had instructions for the washer/dryer. It's different than American, and I had trouble figuring it out. Once we did, it was fine. Steep steps! But, I'm old. LOL. Comment: no "living room". Was fine for us.

Thank you. - Amazing location, we were able to visit Florence by foot, very helpful host, gave us lots of vey helpful recommendations and supported us with parking our car at the nearest garage ( you need to book in advance) we were lovely welcomed with nice drinks, well equipped kitchen, and two spacious bedrooms. We will definitely come back. All absolutely amazing

• Alexandra (9/5): - We loved the location,it was perfect for being slightly out of the centre bit only a few minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio. We also valued the air conditioning. There was nothing we didn't like but I would say some people may struggle with the stairs as they are very steep.

• Guest (10/5): Wonderful - Our stay at the apartment was wonderful! The location is perfect — right downstairs there’s a restaurant with a terrace, the best gelateria, a café, and a panino place. It’s very close to Ponte Vecchio and other major attractions. The host arrived promptly after we notified them, and even brought dish soap, which we’d seen mentioned in a previous review. 🤭The apartment is well-equipped, even with two irons. Bonus: we found a bottle of prosecco in the fridge — not sure if it was from the host or previous guests, but it was a lovely surprise. We’d love to come back!

• Cristina (9/5): Great stay close to everything - The location is great! Just a block away from Ponte vecchio, Palazzo Pitti and Piazza Santo spirito. Plenty of bars, restaurant options and amazing gelato near by. Beautiful artisan shops around the corner. The hosts were very helpful, attentive and communicative. They gave us great tips and made sure we had everything we needed. Apartment is smaller than it appears in the pictures but still was enough for our family of 4.
• Ashley (10/5): A fantastic place to see Florence from - Perfect location a short walk from Ponte Vecchio, you’ll find yourself in a charming part of Florence with a bit less noise than just over the Arno. Take a stroll to the nearby Uffizi Galleries, have a beautiful dinner in one of the MANY nearby incredible restaurants and cross the Ponte Vecchio at Sunset for a perfect day. The hosts were charming, communicative and beyond helpful. Nothing. The apartment was perfect for our needs.

• Deirdre (8/5): Very good - This is a great little spot with an excellent location. I would recommend it as a spot where you can look out the window and watch. Everything is incredibly close. Above a little square with several dining options and gelato. Lively and fun. Very friendly and receptive hosts! There is no living room or seating area to gather and chat. There is just a small kitchen, which is slightly misleading in the pictures. To gather and talk, you are on stools. Also, the stairs to get to the apartment are VERY steep. I would NOT recommend for anyone that has mobility issues.

• Rosemary (10/5): Excellent location, try the gelato across the street - This is a great location. The gelato place across the road was the best one from my whole visit. It’s easy walking distance to everything you want to see. The host communicates promptly, and the beds were comfortable. The whole place was nice and clean. The stairs getting up to the apartment are a bit treacherous, so if you have mobility issues, or bulky luggage, it will be tricky.
• Cindy (6/5): We were disappointed and had to leave early and find another place. - Location and area are centrally located It is very, very noisy. We left a day earlier than expected because of the noise from the restaurant/bar downstairs and the neighbours. No one could sleep. The space is much smaller than the pictures and the mattresses were not comfortable. There are two flights of very steep stairs up so there should be a mention of this for elderly people.

• Lorence (10/5): Exceptional - Giancarlo was a fantastic host. We were even able to arrange transport to and from the train station. The location is the best, it’s very convenient to walk to everything (it’s in a square above restaurants, coffee shops, and a gelato shop). The beds are very comfortable. Nothing we didn’t like, but if you’re sensitive to noise at night keep that in mind with this location.

• Bethany (8/5): Great location and neighborhood to stay in! - Excellent location with great coffee, gelato, and sandwiches steps away. It's a little noisy outside until around midnight but for the great location it was worth it! A bit of a hike from the train station so just be prepared.
• Isabelle (9/5): Wonderfull stay in old Florence close to Ponte Vecchio - The location is great, near Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace. To have restaurants and ice cream just down stairs is wonderfull. Giancarlo gave us some address for restaurants or ideas for visits, this is valuable. For me the mattress was to soft, it's very personal.

• Livnat (9/5): Best location in Florance - The apartment was well equipped, and the hosts were very kind and generous. The location was perfect. TV was only in one bedroom and with no channels for kids.
• Gage (9/5): Excellent hosts and a clean and super convenient place to stay - The hosts were the best we have come across. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome, ensure everything was perfect, and keep in touch in case there was anything else we needed. They even supplied a brand new high chair for us. When we arrived, there were some unforeseen circumstances they had to deal with, but they were super honest about this, communicated it really well, and kept us up to date with progress. The location couldn't have been better, and there are lots of great cafés, sandwich, and gelato shops a few steps from the door! The beds were also really comfortable, and the place was sparkling clean. We would absolutely recommend staying here. Due to the proximity to restaurants, it can be noisy when large groups of people leave the establishments. It didn't bother us, but if you are a light sleeper, maybe bring some earplugs. That said, don't let it deter you!

Also Giancarlo and his wife are great hosts and would go out of their way to make sure that you enjoyed your stay and would offer suggestions for restaurants and sights. Also due to the timing of our vacation, it happened to fall on one of the holidays on the day we needed to head back home. We could not get a taxi and Giancarlo ended up driving us to the airport at a very early hour. Couldn't recommend this place more!

• Sarah (10/5): Excellent host - The apartment had everything we needed, brilliant location and great value for money. Giancarlo is an excellent host. A warm welcome and lots of helpful tips for our stay. He was available to contact throughout our stay if we had questions. He even booked our taxi for the airport home. We will certainly stay here again.
• Herman (8/5): Easly accessible to cafes, restaurants and main attractions - Helpful staff, good location. Could be a little bit too loud for some due too the activities (restaurants) and foot traffic below, but it doesn’t really bother us.

• Kaye (10/5): Exceptional - If you want to get the neighbor feeling of Florence this is the place. For 3 days we felt like neighbors with the friendly little cafes and resturants. You are right there. If you want quiet this is not the place as it is lively and exciting.But if you want to live and feel the love then this is the place. The Hosts were beyond great!! LOCATION IS THE BEST. Thank you for making us feel like VIPs That we did not have more time to stay longer
• Alex (9/5): Would visit again - Apartment is above a couple of restaurants which is conveniet, we were worried about noise but it actually wasnt noisy at night. Location is a few minutes walk from from Ponte Vecchio and couldnt be better for exploring. Host was very friendly and responsive The only thing we didnt like were the chairs in the apartment, which were not very comfortable, but the living space is small so folding chairs are necessary
