• Pedro Luis (4/5): Experiencia nefasta y no se corresponde a las fotos. - Lo único positivo es que está muy cerca de la calle Istiklal. Nos asignó el propietario un apartamento, que según él, era de mejor calidad y no se correspondía en absoluto con el de la foto. El cuarto de baño era muy pequeño, el lavabo diminuto nada que ver con las fotos, el dormitorio y la cama también eran muy pequeños sin espacio para poder salir de uno de los lados y teniendo que pasar por encima de la otra persona. Pero lo peor sin duda fue que cuando llegamos a las 2:00 am y con una temperatura exterior de 0°, quisimos poner la calefacción y no funcionaba, pasamos muchísimo frío. Llamé al propietario pero no cogió el teléfono ni respondió a los mensajes a esas horas. Además del frío en el apartamento también se unía el hecho de que la puerta del dormitorio no cerraba, una de las sillas del salón estaba rota, había 2 y éramos 3, muchos de los utensilios de cocina eran para 2 personas. A la mañana siguiente vino el encargado que previamente había mandado unos mensajes poco agradables diciendo que no nos quejáramos que por lo menos nos había dejado quedarnos con el perro, en la descripción ponía mascotas permitidas previo aviso, cosa que hice al momento de reservar, avisarle de que veníamos con una perra de 5 kg. Finalmente y por la incomodidad de cambiarnos, aceptamos permanecer en el apartamento si se arreglaban los problemas de la calefacción, la puerta y las sillas que finalmente se pudieron solucionar. Por otro lado indicar que la calle en la que se ubica el apartamento es terrorífica, llena de suciedad y edificios abandonados, no recomendable para una persona que viaje sola, ni siquiera abrimos el balcón, totalmente tercermundista. Lo único salvable es la cercanía a la calle Istiklal, nuestra impresión al llegar a las 2:00 en taxi fue horrible, de hecho el taxista nos dejó en la dirección inicial indicada que era igualmente siniestra, y que fue muy amable en esperarnos y llevarnos a la nueva dirección que el propietario mandó un día antes, yo hice la reserva del taxi con anterioridad.

• Philipp (9/5): Very comfortable and clean appartment in an authentic Istanbul street. -
• Karl (5/5): Doable, not amazing - Good shower, Great Staff. Location, roaches, uncomfortable furniture, inadequately equipped kitchen. Strange light switch locations (back of the room, not near the door). Black mould in the living room and bathroom. No oven. When you click the pet-friendly box, this is the number one location. I travel with a service dog, and that is why I chose it. It was a battle. Turns out this place is not pet or service dog friendly. Instead of sending simple instructions, they sent a video which could not be viewed, so it took me an hour to get onto the property. Bad neighorhood, crazy neighbors.
• Beata (7/5): Good but...... - The flat was spacious, it was warm as we visited during the winter, very comfy bed ( really important for me). They provide a new iron and tea spoons as there wasn't enough. Good value for money. It is a good place for stay for few days. It wasn't well equipped. We booked this flat for 11 nights and we came by plane, so we could bring lots of stuff. I travel a lot and I was,expected that there will be some basics, such as washing up liquid, hand wash, shower gel, toilet paper ( I had to ask for it as in the nearest shop they sell huge packs), some cleaning materials so I can clean toilet or sink, cleaning clothes and sponges. The tea towels so we can dry clean dishes. Also, as we spent Christmas there I asked for a christmas tree, and the owner wanted an additional fee ( I never experienced anything like that). Also, there were not enough plates, cups, and cutlery for 3 people. Cups and dishes were very dirty. Inside the cupboard dirt everywhere. We booked flat with the rug but there was no rug at all. They offered a transfer, but the price was doubled compared to booking.com. Not good place for longer stay.

• Khava (7/5): Good - Location was good - quite central, 10-15 mins walk from Istiklal street. The property has great potential, and probably was very good at the start of business. The communication with the host was not the very best one. There were no clear instructions provided beforehand. I was offered a room that was different from what I booked. That was eventually settled, but it left a very unpleasant feeling. The room needs proper cleaning, replacement of kitchenware, and enough toilet paper and soap for guests that stay for more than a couple of days.
• Vladislav (10/5): Great apartments with comfortable location and wonderful hosts! - Convenient location, great hosts that were always on call and ready to help, clean and comfortable apartments with everything needed for life The area seemed a little bit scary at first. And it’s quite difficult to walk with baggage from metro to it, it’s better to use taxi or a bus.

• Evgenia (9/5): Good value place to explore the tourist areas of Istanbul. - The property is located close main attractions. It is clean and has a modern shower, kitchen and decent wifi with a Smart TV. There are supermarkets, restaurants a busy bus stop nearby. 5 min to Istiklal street, 20 minutes to Galata. The place doesn’t boast a very nice view. It overlooks back narrow streets in the old part of town, quite noisy and sometimes dirty. It was perfectly safe though, I stayed for three weeks and did not have any problems.

• Bisrat (9/5): Almost flawless stay - I was a bit skeptical when booking it as this appt. has only few reviews and last time i booked an appt. with few reviews which was 10 star was such a disaster and am very happy that i was proven wrong. The apartment is very clean, no cigarette or bad smell, very good size, everything works as expected. The location is also good, It's close to Taxim which is central for pretty much everything, the building itself is well maintained, clean and secured. Everything was almost flawless and we stayed 9 nights. And seen a review about constant noise at night but we didn't hear a thing and slept like a baby. I wouldn't say "not what i liked" rather more of a general review and few recommendations. 1/ The building location area may look a bit dodgy as there are multiple abandoned buildings nearby and narrow quite streets may make someone feel a bit anxious as we were at first impression but after a day or two everything felt very normal. 2/ The location itself is in the middle of a hill and has about 5-6 min walk to the main street but Istanbul is absolut full of steep hills and slops so i don't think any one will escape that during their stay in the city. 3/ The appt. we stayed was on the 4th floor and there is no lift in the building. Some may see climbing stairs as a good daily exercise and for some may not be a cake walk so i will leave it to the reader. 4/ as a suggestion, the bedroom floor is a bit lower than the living room, and we tripped few times until we got used to it. Maybe putting in a cautious tape would make it a tripp hazard safe. 5/ Also maybe putting Anti-slip mat in the shower is a good idea as the ceramic tile may be slippery sometimes and can be seen as a fall hazard.

• Lorenzovm (8/5): Very good - Modern apartment. Too much noise at night even though it's not a party area. Or perhaps it's just part of the Turkey experience. Too much noise at all times. Also the floor was a little bit damaged.

• Max (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is clean and comfortably furnished, 10 minutes walking distance to the famous Istiklal Street.
• Ksenia (10/5): Exceptional - I really liked the cleanliness of the apartment, everything was spotless, the sheets and pillows smelled delicious. It was a very large and spacious apartment. The owner gave quick answers to all our questions. There are 2 supermarkets right next to the apartment. Air conditioning was working well.
• Ivet (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed in a studio apartment. The apartment was located on the ground floor. It was quite spacious and clean. It was enjoyable to cook in the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. 5 minutes walking distance to central places.
• Rabah (10/5): Modern and comfortable apartment - The apartment was the same as in the photo. I entered the apartment with the help of a password box.That was very easy .the instructions are very clear. Hotel management sent a video with instructions It was comfortably and modernly designed, the cleanliness was excellent, the kitchen was well-equipped, the sheets and linens smelled delicious. The location is 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from central places. There are two supermarkets nearby. I would recommend it to everyone. Nothing

• Roovers (7/5): Spacious comfortable flat, suitable for long stay. Good location. - The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, they helped me a lot and also where always available if I had questions. There are a few shops nearby for cooking. The flat is modern, fresh and spacious. Kitchen is basic but ok. The location is near main points of interest and with good public transport to explore the rest of the city. I stayed a long time and it was good home away from home. A bit more cosy lighting in the living-room would be nice :-) I understood from previous reviews there was regular cleaning but this wasn't the case. However this was easy to do myself with washing-machine and equipment available in the flat. The location is pretty central but the side streets feel a bit 'edgy' later at night. There where some small problems but this wasn't anything to do with the flat or host, whom did absolutely everything to assist and make me feel welcome.
• Fasya (10/5): Cosy - Its so clean and pretty , you totally felt like you are home .The host is nice and considerate . Overall it was excellent staycation !
• Sergei (8/5): good value for money - - the host is a nice person, we had a problem during the checking-in, but he settled it in a friendly manner - the location is close to Taksim / Istiklal, but keep in mind that to get there you'll need to walk uphill several hundred meters - the apartment itself has good furniture and the bathroom is nice (but with a sink in the hall) - we spent one night in a basement apartment (also belongs to Nida flats) and it was really not so good with a smell and humidity...but the upper apartments are fine - neighbourhood could be a little noisy sometimes
• Muhammad (9/5): It was comfortable and pretty affordable stay and close to the attractions - The staff was very accommodating and location was very nice near taksim. Overall we enjoyed our stay The approach to the property was not very clean. But that is the responsibility of the municipality.
• Siarhei (9/5): All in all it was nice experience, strongly recommend to saty at Abdullah's place. - The location is great: not far from the centre but pretty quite. The first day we came neighbours celebrated smth and got a small sweet outside party with dances and songs; it was ended before the midnight and for me personally it looks like indicator of a friendly and non-dangerous district :) Also, two shops are located in 3 min walk so grocery is not a problem at all. The place looks exactly as on the photo. The place is clean and neat. The host was sweet too and helped us to lift the bags. Towels were changed every 3 days. We were also left a small instruction on how to get a taxi, where are the shops located and etc. The host also helped to order a taxi to the airport. It has pretty narrow ladder - beware but if your bags aren't heavy it's not a problem. Note that no water is provided and if you arrive at night the shop may be already closed so it's better to have some drinking water with you.

• Sofia (10/5): We enjoyed this apartment and will likely recommend it to our friends. - New clean apartment. Stable hot water. Good air conditioner, fridge etc. everything you need. Comfortable bed. I will recommend adding shower kit and more toilet paper. Close to bus station and walking distance to this district sights like Galata Tower, Istiklal street etc. The surrounding area is not clean. But it takes a few minutes walk to more comfortable street.
• B (10/5): Exceptional - wonderful apartment very clean very comfortable bed with air condition, newly renovated bathroom and fully equipped kitchen it has everything needed. Short walk to famous Istiklal street also short walk to the bus station to get local buses. The owner Abdullah is a wonderful person helped me so much especially when I had an accident on my first day ( not major ) and I called him just after 1am he quickly came to my rescue and assisted with everything he even offered me to pay my hospital bill and the following day he invited me for a breakfast and we chatted and got all the tips I needed. What a wonderful person, my fourth day my flight was delayed and when I asked Abdullah to checkout late he said no problem what a legend. I will definitely come back and stay here 1) because of Abdullah 2) because 4 days wasn’t enough to cover all over Istanbul. nothing

• Polina (10/5): Great place for staying in Istanbul - First of all I would like to thank Abdullah. He is a superhost. He helped us with all our questions, was very thoughtful and caring. The apartment was really cozy. It was nice to cook breakfast there (the kitchen had everything we needed) and to come back in the evening after long days exploring Istanbul. The bed was comfortable, we slept like babies. Our daughter stayed on the sofa and didn't complain. The linen and towels smelled fresh (quite often it really is a problem but not here). We always had hot water, the water pressure was really good. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. It's always great to have a washing machine, an iron, an iron desk, a safe. The apartment is a 5-10 minute walk to the Istiklal street. It's 4 minutes to to the bus station and there are a lot of routes. Carrefour is just around the corner. also there're a lot of small shops, a bakery nearby. On Sundays there's a street market for locals on the next street. You can find fresh vegetables, berries, fruit there. Also fish and seafood. We really enjoyed the apartment and are glad that we were happy to find this place! It's not that I didn't like it but if you added kitchen towels, dish soap, washing gel for washing machine - would have been great!
• MAHSA (2/5): - This room is in the basement, the owner is rude and nor responsive. The description has nothing to do with what you will see! Do NOT go there! Terrible!
• Mario (10/5): Great and centrally located studio apartment - Spotless clean and newly renovated studio apartment not far from Taksim square. In 2 minutes walking distance you have 2 supermarkets and a bakery, as well as other businesses. About 10 minutes wallking to Istiklal Street. The apartment is in a hilly area and a very small street, but that is often the case in Beyoglu Istanbul. The administrator was very friendly and helpful. Communication was perfect. As the street is small and the studio apartment on the ground floor it can get a bit noisy, which is often the case in Beyoglu. But you are at a very central location. If you are sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs.
• Koçak (10/5): Exceptional - Incredibly comfortable apartment. The apartment had everything I was looking for in my house, washing machine, refrigerator, kitchen, hair dryer etc. The flat was the same as in the photo. The sheets and bedding were clean. In terms of location, it was 5 minutes walking distance from Istiklal Street. It has an unbelievably quiet location. This is a great advantage in Taksim. There were two big markets right next to it. There was a big flea market (a local market) open only on Sundays, next to a street. We recommend it to everyone. nothing
• Abdalrahman (10/5): - Det var jätte fint lägenhet som på bilderna. Nära till Taksim Square och det finns affärerna i närheten också. Jätte lätt att kontakta ägaren, jätte snäll man.
