- Anonymous (8/5): Affordable accommodations within 20 minutes of the airport. - We opted for more affordable accommodations for our last night close to the airport. It met our needs. We had to leave early to catch our flight home. The gates were locked so we had to walk out the front of the building and around to the back. This should have been mentioned when we checked in, it would have saved us some time if we had known.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Breakfast and lunch options were really nice and good value.
It is in a convenient location and looked after well.

- Emma (10/5): Great budget spot for seeing Dublin - Friendly helpful reception staff
- Alison (9/5): Great facilities and Safe for a Solo Traveler. - I didnt get to take advantage of it as much as I would have liked, but really appreciated the free breakfast and other amenities. Since it's on a campus, there is access to a store, dining hall, laundry room. As a solo traveler I felt safe. Also, very easy to get to downtown dublin and to the airport via bus. The rooms are a great size and the ensuite bathrooms are convenient. Plenty of space for a solo traveler. Would stay there again in a heartbeat The walk to the bus was annoying but certainly not a deal breaker. Make sure to pack some utensils since the kitchen in the dorm doesn't always have them. Or at least get them from the restaurant when you order take away.
- Ellen (7/5): Good -
- Eileen (10/5): Reasonably priced accomodation - Cheapest we could find in Dublin. Walk to botanical gardens. Bus to airport good. Friendly staff. The accomodation this time was more comfortable than the first room we had.
- H (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (7/5): Locked in - Everything was good for an overnight stay, comfortable bed, warm room, nice en-suite. Safe & secure. We had an early flight, so when we went to leave at 4.25am the next morning, we found ourselves in a locked courtyard. I phoned security to ask him to unlock the gate beside the car park. He said the gate does not open until 6am. I told him we would miss our flight. He insisted that the gate would only be unlocked at 6am. I said if he didn't get security to unlock the gate, I would have to phone the Gardai. After about 10 minutes, a security guard arrived & unlocked the gate. Thankfully we got to the airport in time.

- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Joanna (7/5): Good -
- Terence (6/5): Affordable accommodation in an overpriced market - The beds were too narrow
- Mona (8/5): Very good -
- Marvin (6/5): Pleasant - The student bar was good and I enjoyed the breakfast that come with the stay. The single beds were tiny!
- Julia (8/5): Dublin facilities were expensive, overall, I was happy with the value for the price and services. - Breakfast is probably the best other than the location distance from the airport. Staffs were busy but courteous. Campus and surroundings were pretty too. Check in late is not that convenient, curtain and mattress are old and run down; therefore, not that functional, bus stop is a bit far to the facility and climbing the stairs to your staying floor if you have a larger suitcase.
- Adam (8/5): Good for the price, but a bit out the way - Easy, quiet for dublin, breakfast ok Quite a bit out of the centre, nightmare to get a taxi back (although it was Lions weekend), tv didn't work and shower pressure weak.
Not a knock on hotel, but unless you're drinking, there isn't a great deal to do in Dublin. We walked 30 miles in 2 days, and otherwise, we'd just have been sitting in bars.
- Miriam (8/5): Very good - Convenience for. Overnight sty close enough to import Even for student accommodation fairly basic!

- Marek (10/5): It was a good value for money stay - I loved the breakfast and the student bar. The staff was very nice to us. The accommodation was great. It was a good experience
- Razieh (8/5): Very good -
- Kristina (10/5): Great budget friendly accommodation - Accommodation is excellent - nothing fancy but we knew that as I have stayed before. Value for money and just a short bus ride into town. Easy parking also at a fee. Noise in the night but it didn't bother me too much
- Simon (7/5): Good - Staff were great. Rooms were very basic.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dalrymple (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (9/5): Nice place in an expensive city - Good location on college campus in north Dublin with nearby (paid) parking lot, food and public transportation. Dublin Airport only 15-20 minutes away. Breakfast included (we left before breakfast). Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms that were much less expensive than local hotels. Would stay here again and highly recommend it.
- Anders (6/5): Pleasant - Bus stop just outside the accommodation. Fast WiFi. Good breakfast. The room was not so clean and the bathroom needs an update.
The breakfast was put on a plate for you by the personnel so you could not take a second round and there was a limited quantity you was allowed to take.
- Sandra (7/5): Clean basic and greet price for Dublin - Basic but clean. Exactly what you’d expect for the price. Very impressed with breakfast. Thought it would be just continental but it was hot buffet. Lots of noisy students from abroad gathered outside until 1:30am but its student accommodation and you’d expect that
- Cristina_y (9/5): Superb -
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean good breakfast
- Carmel (8/5): Very good -
- Jurgen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kolomiyets (8/5): Good accommodation and food here. I recommend it. - I liked the breakfast, the room, the location and the support for checking in after midnight due to a late flight. Thanks! The water in the toilet tank was very noisy all the time
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Overall very good. Nice park nearby - Accommodation and staff very good. Breakfast excellent
Long way from city centre but buses very good, and excellent restaurant (Andersons) nearby. City centre eating very expensive Nothing much. The taxi firm you booked was unreliable. Better to book your own.
- Katja (8/5): Great value for money with breakfast and getting the student vibe living on campus - It’s nice to stay on campus. You really have a room a student would usually have
Breakfast was great! And staff was super friendly. We arrived in the middle of the night due to our delayed flight and they helped us check in and were so very helpful. My room was quite small. There was no nightstand for the lamp next to the bed so I plugged out the desk lamp and put it on the floor next to my bed so I could read.
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly campus, good location for busses,
- Brian (4/5): Bring your own forks - Local shop on site There is a kitchen for self service but no bowls, forks knives or any utensils.
There was mashed weetabix in the carpet. There was students on site throwing stones at windows and no staff or security to address this.
The bedding was minimal with poor quality pillows.
The breakfast food was not great either and served in a distant cafeteria
Having recently stayed in the Galway campus, DCU falls way below par.
- Megan (7/5): Good - Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Great showers.
- Mccarthy (4/5): DCU has many things going for it but need to address users' complaints promptly. - Breakfast was good but some items like bacon and toast were missing when we got there The light was only flickering in the bathroom. We reported it on the first day but it was never fixed.
The fan comes on automatically in the bathroom when you switch on the light. Very annoying. Had to use phone light during the night to avoid waking up others.
- Joanne (10/5): Perfect lovely park beside the campus - The campus was ideal for us just outside the city lovely and quiet
- Ronald (8/5): Good - Plumbing needs improvement Had change rooms because of plumbing
- Segura (7/5): Good - A bit closer to the airport than most hotels at a reasonable price. The rooms are 100% dorm room that are very bland. No TV or features. Just a bed and bathroom. It worked for early departure needs. Notuch around to eat at later at night. You are kind of isolated on the campus.
- Sean (8/5): Very good -
- Waring (8/5): Very good -
- Gökhan (6/5): Pleasant - There was no hot water in the bathroom nice location, easy transportation good breakfast.
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good - Beautiful campus. Check in easy. Food service very good - separate from the students.
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bahamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Shauna (6/5): Good for the price but only if you don’t mind cramped showers and warm rooms - Grate location with plenty of buses running in and out of city Very warm rooms with no AC and a tiny shower
- Murilo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lily (8/5): Very good -
- Mcnab (8/5): Very good -
- Sinead (2/5): Very poor -
- Mcnab (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (6/5): The location and staff at DCU were great, but I feel Booking.com definitely misrepresented the room, showing a much nice - Very basic and not as pictured in the Booking.com advert It was exceptionally basic. We would have had a better quality room if we’d booked directly through DCU!!!
- Anonymous (10/5): Comfortable, easy and a very warm memory of mine. - The room was excellent and clean, having a personal bathroom with warm water and shower made it a comfortable and peaceful stay. I could hear people coming in and out and bringing their suitcases etc outside when trying to sleep, but other than that the whole experience was great and I look forward to coming and staying again. The check in and out was smooth and easy
- Nicky (9/5): Superb -
- Zara (8/5): Very good - Paid for a camp bed before arrival but was not received have tried to get in contact and have no heard anything back
- Nicholas (9/5): Exceeded expectations for the price, hotel service for hostel money. - Great place for a group of friends to stay, we had three rooms which shared a communal kitchen. Tea, coffee, toiletries and towels included which is great at the price. Hotel service for hostel money. Breakfast was excellent and generous. You can even use the student bar! Location is a little outside the city.
- Mc (3/5): Lovely place to stay. Pity the birds spoilt my night - Very good Sea gulls nesting on flat roof kept me awake all night
- Kristel (7/5): Value for money - Location great, clean but very basic bed small room but sufficient Room very small and basic like school dorms.
- Pol (6/5): Pleasant - Good buses nearby The breakfast was not limitless. The rooms were okay but lacked coziness
- Cliodhna (1/5): Bad -
- Donal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayne (8/5): A good VFM stay at a busy time (Lions Argentina rugby game) with easy access to Dublin centre - Breakfast (you get vouchers) was good value for money.
Set outside Dublin centre but served by a number of frequent busses.
Enjoyed a pint in the Slipper pub; fish and chips from just round the corner also very good (pretty much opposite campus entrance).
One twin and one double as requested but… …key cards the wrong way round (so son/daughter were just contemplating dismantling the double!).
A proper double fitted sheet would be good – got rucked up as not able to tuck in both sides.
- Baggott (1/5): Not good - Checking in and out was easy The room felt like a prison cell, bare exposed breeze blocks. It was far too hot and the bed was uncomfortable.
We took one look at the shower and decided not to bother.
For £90 for a single night we were expecting a little more and we felt for the students who pay to live there.
- Eoin (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Machuve (8/5): Very good -
- Curran (7/5): Good -
