• madelein (9/5): Hyggelig liten hotel nær Caminito del Rey - Veldig fin beliggenhet, komfortabelt rom med flott terasse og nydelig utsikt. Passer utmerket til de som vil gå Caminito del Rey. Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom personalet. Sen frokost ( kl 0830) men det ble laget ferdig brødmat til oss som vi kunne spise tidlig. Vi likte alt.

We arrived around noon and quickly dropped off our bags and walked to the train station to catch the Caminito Del Rey bus that took us to the Northern entrance for the hike down. Upon finishing the hike, we simply walked to our El Nido. The hotel's location was perfect. We loved the small hotel feeling where you can talk to the owner
• Nicole (7/5): Ein schönes kleines sauberes Hotel um in der Gegend was zu unternehmen, was Frühstück und Essen betrifft eher einfach - Schöne Zimmer, bequemes Bett, gutes Bad, freundliches Personal Nur sehr kurze Zeit geöffnet zum Einchecken oder um was zu Essen zu bekommen, kleiner Pool auf Dach noch nicht gefüllt, geringe Auswahl an Essen, Frühstück auf Bestellung, gab aber einiges nicht z.B gab es keine Eier( obwohl auf Karte) und der die Früchte im Joghurt war ein bisschen kleingeschnittener Apfel

• A.M.W. (8/5): Qua locatie ideaal voor Caminito - De locatie is perfect om de Camino del Rey te lopen. Je loopt zo naar de bus die je naar El Kiosk brengt. Het uitzicht is ook erg mooi. Ook dat je voor 13u kunt inchecken (al moesten wij tegen 13 uur nog half uur wachten omdat de kamer niet klaar was). Eén nacht was wel voldoende geweest (hadden er 2). Het is lastig dat ze niet veel Engels kunnen. Google Translate veel gebruikt dus. Het ontbijt is oké, maar niet bijzonder. Wel aan de prijs. Ook de koffie en thee moet betaald worden. De vrouw die het avondeten serveerde was vrolijk.

• Andrej (8/5): Dobra cena in lokacija - Nastanitev ponuja ugodno ceno, sobe so čiste in urejene, osebje je prijazno. Hotel je blizu avtobusa za Caminito del Rey in blizu izhoda iz soteske. Dostop z avtom je po res ozki cesti, prostor za parkiranje ni najboljši. Osebje ne zna skoraj nič angleško, zato se je kakšne stvari malo težko sporazumeti.

Tolle Lage als Ausgangspunkt für den Caminito del Rei. Leckeres Essen im Restaurant, herzliche Begrüßung. Der Ort drumherum ist eine Baustelle und heruntergekommen. Es gibt nichts, umso besser, dass das Restaurant in der Unterkunft prima war.

• Miguel Isidoro (8/5): Incredible location, they have everything they need to make it great but requires some improvements - The location was excellent for doing El Caminito del Rey because you are right at the end of the path. Adding to that, the staff was also really helpful because they gave us advice on how to get to El Caminito, which saved us a lot of time. This is a long story that ended up resolved, but I think it's only fair for me to share it so that this doesn't happen to other customers, and the staff takes the necessary measures to clarify on the web the type of rooms they have or make sure the customers get what they book. I am sorry to have to say this, but there was something that I didn't like at all, and that I told the staff directly, which was that even if I booked a "Deluxe Double Room", the bed was not double (it was two single beds together), and it wasn't deluxe at all. As soon as I entered the room, I noticed 6 things that were concerning: 1. The bed was not double (but that was not the main issue) 2. The beds, even if they looked clean, felt as if someone had been over them, not straight at all 3. The cleaning was questionable, and I found hairs and a lot of debris, plus some spiders (which is understandable because it was close to nature) 4. The bathroom had the main light not working, so you had to enter the bathroom to turn on the light next to the mirror 5. The room was not like the one I booked in the pictures; it didn't have the sofa that the pictures had 6. The smell inside the room was strong I went to speak with them about some of the issues above (not all because I could accept some), and they told me that they didn't know which room I got because all were nearly the same, but that there was one that was busy that was closer to what I was describing, and I could move in the next day. To what I said that it was ok to not to move, but I wanted an explanation. The next day, another staff member came to speak with me and offered to move to the room that looked like the one I booked. We had a look, and honestly, it was much better, so we accepted moving to that one. This new room was exactly as the one we booked, the bed was double, the lights were working, it smelled good, and it was really clean.

• Bianca (9/5): Sehr schön am Caminito del Rey - Sehr schöne liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit Balkon und Bergblick. Liegt perfekt zum Caminito del Rey. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Einziger Minuspunkt, sehr ungünstige Checkin Zeiten. Erst ab 18:00 h oder vor 13:00 h.

• Michael (7/5): - Die Lage ist sensationell. Man blickt direkt auf den Zentralsektor des Klettergebiets und kommt direkt am Hotel raus, wenn man den Camenito del Rey gegangen ist. Wir hatten auch eine sehr große Dachterrasse zur Verfügung. Das Essen, egal ob Frühstück oder Abendessen war unterstes Niveau.

Sehr gute und günstige Möglichkeit zu Übernachten, wenn man den Caminito del Rey besichtigen will. Direkt am Endpunkt des Trails gelegen. Nur ein paar hundert Meter zu den Shuttlebussen. Frühstück a la Carte mit kleiner Auswahl. Abendessen direkt im Hotel möglich. Anfahrt nicht ideal. Auch zu Fuß etwas abseits gelegen, wenngleich es nur ein paar hundert Meter zur Bahn und zum Ausgangspunkt der Shuttle-Busse sind. Personal spricht Spanisch, nur sehr begrenzt Englisch.

• Búrdalo Moreno (10/5): Un viaje inolvidable - La ubicación. A los pies del caminito del Rey un paraje de ensueño justo al lado de donde se cogen los autobuses que te llevan al inicio del caminito. La habitación muy cómoda y silenciosa y el personal muy amable y atento. También tiene una pequeña cafetería donde puedes desayunar, comer y cenar con unas vistas impresionantes. Todo perfecto, no puedo decir nada que no me gustó..

Moisissures dans la douche, et mettre une armoire pour les habits car pas de rangement. Le petit déjeuner très cher et surtout infecté à fuir. Pas de pantoufles ni de peignoir pourtant vu sur les photos.

• belgijan (10/5): Dé verblijfslocatie voor je trip door de Garganta del Chorro - Het personeel was top, de kamer was heerlijk met een reusachtig terras, heerlijk eten zowel diner als ontbijt, het uitzicht is fenomenaal, de locatie nabij de prachtige wandeling door de kloof, op 5 minuten wandelen van het eindpunt van deze populaire tocht. Dat het zo kleinschalig was (4 kamers!) en toch zo goed en mooi. Dat het zwembad niet gevuld was.

• Nadia (10/5): Zalige B&B in volle natuur! - Waar ga ik beginnen? Ligt verscholen achterin het straatje, maar als je erbij uitkomt sta je verbaasd te kijken tegen een machtige prachtige bergrots. De B&B zel is een zeer mooi opgemaakt huis met eetruimte beneden en ligruimte op het dakterras. Kamers beschikken over terrrasjes met prachtig uitzicht. Het was heel netjes en hebben er lekker ontbeten én ook het eten dat ze s avonds aanbieden was heel goed. Het dorpje is het eindpunt van de Caminito del Rey. Onze auto kon dus gewoon blijven staan en nadien van daaruit vertrokken. Dus super! 10/10 Kan zo niets vernoemen.

Beautiful views from balcony. It’s close to the little village and to Caminito del Rey. The hilly walk could be difficult for some people but not very far to walk or there was a short taxi ride available.

• CHRISTOPHER (9/5): Nice place in a scenic area - The inn is located at the west end of El Chorro. The setting is spectacular. The room included a balcony with a view of the mountains. Room was comfortable and clean A minor issue. I had ordered a take-away breakfast for the morning of my departure because I was leaving early on a bike trip. I paid for the breakfast but it was not delivered or left out for me in the morning (there were no staff there at that hour)

• Rachel (7/5): Satisfactory but a few issues. - The location is perfect for the caminito del rey or for hiking. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We had paid for a 'special experience' room with a private plunge pool. Although the pool was not open in April, (fair enough) we were not given this room but another smaller room. Also, check in is before 1pm or after 6pm. Although this is in the hotel listing, it's not convenient for most people I would imagine. Finally, we had requested a twin, but the room had to be changed from a double on our arrival after 6pm, when all we wanted to do was relax. Perhaps this is because we were not given the room we booked.

• Eliška (9/5): Amazing stay in nature - We stay 2 nights and it was perfect choice. The location is perfect, close to the bus from El Chorro to start Caminito del Rey. The room is small but it was cozy and there was everything what you need. The terase is the best with amazing view. The personal is nice. The ladies doesn’t speak english properly,but with traslator and your hands you will fix it 😀. It´s visible,that they take care about everything with love. I 💯 % recommend!

• Christine (9/5): Schöne Unterkunft in spektakulärer Lage. - Tolle Lage und guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Das Zimmer war hell und freundlich eingerichtet, die Terrasse ein Pluspunkt. Man kann zu fairen Preisen Frühstücken und auch Abendessen. Wir waren nur 1 Nacht dort, um den Caminito del Rey zu gehen, wären gerne noch einige Tage geblieben, leider war unser Urlaub zu Ende.

• Lawrence (3/5): I do not recommend staying here, but if you must, it will do - Clean & newly remodeled Inconvenient check in times. No one working between 1pm-6pm. Shower had no water pressure. Service was slow and workers not happy working there. The path from train station to hotel is not paved. The pool is in a crazy place away from hotel.

• Petra (8/5): - Die Unterkunft haben wir tatsächlich nur mit der guten Wegbeschreibung durch die Inhaberin gefunden. Sie kann nur wenig Englisch. Aber mit Übersetzungsprogramm ging das sehr gut. Die Unterkunft liegt fast direkt am Ende des Caminito del Rey. Wir konnten dort unser Auto stehen lassen und fuhren mit dem Shuttlebus zum Ausgangspunkt.

Znaki są małe z blado niebieskim napisem usytuowane w krzaczkach. Przyjeżdżając w nocy, musieliśmy pytać przechodnich o drogę i do końca nie byliśmy pewni czy dobrze idziemy (pomimo używania nawigacji).

Eerlijk.. het is nostalgie…. maar voor mijn normen oudbollig en voorbij…De mensen doen hun best en zijn zeer vriendelijk. Het eten was wel verzorgd en lekker. Maar gezien de schaarste van verblijven op deze locatie is de prijs veel te hoog voor wat je krijgt.We zaten in deze periode in Cordoba en Granada voor dezelfde prijs in een 4 en 5 sterren hotel.

Klidné místo, pohodový personál, který se s vámi domluví, i když umí v podstatě jen španělsky. Interiér zařízený s jemným vkusem a stylem. Výborná snídaně a večeře.
• Josiane (8/5): - Un endroit magnifique et authentique, à la sortie del caminito del rey. Possible de manger à l'hôtel le soir. Personnel sympa.
• Monique (8/5): Perfecte locatie voor El Caminito del Rey - Leuke accommodatie en perfecte uitvalsbasis om de Caminito del Rey te lopen. Fijne, verzorgde kamers met een super leuk terras erbij. Wel erg lastig om de locatie te vinden en je auto te parkeren. Tip om aan het begin van El Chorro aanwijzingsbordjes te plaatsen. En wellicht ook aan te geven waar je je auto kan parkeren.
• Anne (5/5): Disappointing. - We did not have breakfast because we were so disappointed with the evening meal. The fish we chose was undercooked and cold along with the ‘reheated’ potatoes and veg. They then cooked the fish a bit more and the same potatoes came back a bit warmer. Last time we stayed we had a great meal so it was very disappointing.

• Ingrid (10/5): Ideale ligging op korte loopafstand van trein-en busstation met goede service. Gewoon boeken 😉 - De ligging is ideaal. Heel mooi gelegen tussen de bergen, op een paar minuten lopen vanaf treinstation El Chorro met rechtstreekse treinverbinding met Malaga en Sevilla. Vanaf dit treinstation vertrekt ook de bus naar Caminito del Rey. Het eindpunt van de tocht is op minder dan 10 minuten lopen. Je kunt ook goed eten bij El Nido del Chorro, niet altijd zijn alle gerechten van de kaart aanwezig, maar de dames weten altijd iets lekkers op tafel te zetten. Helemaal niets. We zijn hier vorig jaar ook geweest en zouden het zo weer boeken. Ideaal hotelletje.

• Daniel (10/5): - Mooie grote kamer met balkon met zitjes Goede bedden en warme douche Locatie perfect Stap op de bus om het koningspad te lopen en je eindigt bij het hotel Beetje zoeken maar yelefonisch contact opgenomen en zo werd het duidelijk waar we moesten zijn
• Julia (10/5): Estancia inolvidable - El lugar es mágico. El alojamiento está muy bien, cómodo y limpio. Y el personal es muy agradable. Nosotros coincidimos más con Araceli, supermaja, nos informó, y ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos. Y es un sitio perfecto desde el que hacer el Caminito del Rey
• Nadia (7/5): Für eine Nacht völlig ausreichend und sehr gemütlich - Die Deluxe Zimmer waren geräumig und hatten alles was man braucht (ausser warmes Duschwasser am Morgen). Auf der Terrasse hat man eine schöne Aussicht, wenn man das Nachbargrundstück ignoriert. Auf der Dachterasse konnte man die Sterne sehen. Kein oder wenig warmes Wasser zum Duschen am Morgen (7 Uhr). Keine Parkmöglichkeit und da im Moment die Strasse erneuert wird, nur sehr schwer zugänglich mit dem Auto.
• Serge (8/5): hébergement familial, chaleureux - les employées étaient serviables, souriantes. la nourriture est de bonne qualité l'accès à l'hôtel est très compliqué pour un véhicule: pas de panneau indicateur; voie routière à peine carrossable.

• Margret (9/5): - Very quiet. Good position for the Kings Walk and other walks, climbing etc. not far from the station. Very friendly
• Alex (10/5): Excellent location for Caminito Del Rey hike. Excellent staff service. - The location is perfect for doing the Caminito del Rey hike. Due to construction, the hotel was a little tricky to find. This should be resolved soon when the train station renovations are completed.
