Guest Reviews
- Gwen (9/5): - L'endroit insolite, le calme, l'environnement. Confort moyen mais c'est normal. On s'est bien adapté. Il faut être un peu roots.
- Bianca (10/5): -
- N-Keshvari (4/5): - Ruhe Betten

Rien
- Veronika (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the boat!! We got to come home from a long day of sightseeing and relax on the deck with a glass of wine; it made the whole trip to Amsterdam so much better. The location is great; a 20min drive from city center, giving you enough space from the hustle and bustle without being too far out. The little sleeping nook was super comfy and generally, the vibe in the harbor was super relaxing and unwinding! Unfortunately there was no iron & ironing board, but we won't deduct any points for that
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Gros is excellent host, providing with all information needed. The area is very calm, cozy, safe.Great stay!
- Yi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - Well-equipped boat and lovely location. It was hard to find the exact location - instructions could be clearer. Also there were loud drilling noises from 7am although that is probably outside your control.
- Lesley (4/5): Disappointing -
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Sebastian (10/5): Living in a boat was weird. But I loved it. A fantastic and recommendable experience. - The adventure, the coziness of the boat, the facilities and the friendliness of the hosts. You have to get used to the low ceiling in the shower
- Julia (9/5): Excellent well equipped accommodation in a great location, - Spacious, well equipped, comfortable, quiet location, excellent host & easy access to public transport Nothing, thoroughly enjoyed our stay
- Elizabeth (9/5): We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful and convenient location! Great place for a weekend! - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. It was easy to reach, just 10 minutes from the metro, and surprisingly quiet despite being near the highway. Four of us stayed on the boat for a long weekend. Although it was a bit tight for those of us over 6'3", it was manageable and we had a fantastic time. Gros was an excellent host, greeting us with food and drinks, which was a wonderful touch. The beds were comfortable, and the facilities were impeccably clean. We would definitely stay again!
- Joanne (8/5): We had a great stay on the boat. - It was a different experience staying on a boat. Gros was a great host and very easy to communicate with. Nothing, it was a great stay
- Andrew (8/5): We had a great few days in a different part of Amsterdam away from tourist spots - The location and the boat were great, especially the outdoor deck where we watched the sunset with a glass of wine The bedroom was a bit tight but this is to be expected on a boat!
- Lynsey (10/5): Gros was a great host, met us upon arrival and contacted us prior to arrival..bed was comfy, facilities were great. My l - Location, within 5-10 mins walk of tram.
Something different to an apartment or hotel
- Stephen (9/5): Enjoyed stay with friendly animals too! - Spacious, modern and light. Comfortable.
- Ching (9/5): Superb - Staying in a houseboat is such a unique experience! The hosts are incredibly friendly and eager to share and communicate. They're flexible and accommodating with scheduling, and the houseboat is kept impeccably clean. They even welcomed me and my partner with red wine, special snacks, and more. During our extended stay, they kindly came by to help refill the water tank, making everything truly memorable!
Sure, winter stays can get chilly, and the space on the houseboat might be a bit narrow with low ceilings, but for us, those are all part of its charm!
- Michaela (6/5): Staff was very helpfull and freindly but in the begining there was diesel smell and wifi was free but without proper pow - Interesting Wifi was soo pure.
- Marc (8/5): Very good -
- Alison (9/5): Great way to spend a few days in Amsterdam. - We had a great few days on Flint and Gros could not have been more accommodating. Although we had to get used to ducking and squeezing into small spaces (with a few banged heads!) this is of course to be expected on a boat and it was great fun to stay there. Surprisingly quiet given it's quite close to a main road and the beds were very comfortable. Lovely welcome pack, lots of useful information and easy access to tram and bus to get into town. The weather was fantastic so we were able to enjoy sitting out on the deck every morning and evening. The electricity can't power everything at once so you need to be smart about charging your devices and organised about when to use the coffee machine/microwave and hot water. Be aware that streaming isn't really possible due to limited bandwidth/shared WiFi with the other boats but we were lucky as we had unlimited data. Shops are not that close so make sure you bring enough supplies back from town. These are tips rather than things we didnt like and none of this stopped us enjoying our stay!
- Danny (9/5): Superb -
- Michaela (10/5): Exceptional - It was an amazing experience, the vibe of the place is great and it is very close to a metro station. Mr. Gross was super nice, he showed us everything, he even welcomed us with snacks and drinks. All in all it was terrific and way better than we expected (and we had really high expectations). I would totally recommend! Thank you.
- Fergal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ivan (9/5): Superb - Great experience of staying on a boat, enjoying all the nuances, still not far from the city centre. A little bit complicated equipment management, electrical facilities. Nevertheless, everything was perfectly manageable.
- Anonymous (8/5): Cosy, romantic stay. - Very cosy and romantic, nice to have wine and waffles left for us. The location was a bit out of the way, and it was very cold!
- Gerald (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Bridget (9/5): Great place to stay - The yacht is beautiful - comfortable and roomy enough for the 3 of us. It was pretty convenient, being about a 20 min walk to the nearest metro, or a 30E taxi ride back at night when we ate out. The owner is very friendly and generous. The beds were comfortable and the heating was lovely in the cooler evenings. It was nice and quiet, being out of the city centre. I would happily stay there again. It would not be ok for anyone more disabled - you do need to be able to clamber and twist to get in.
There was a lot of information about windows, sockets etc that we were told on arriving, which was great but it would be useful to have that written down as well as it was hard to remember everything.
The skylight over one bed leaked on the last night - it seemed it might do it when the wind was in a particular direction as it didn't do it all night. That being said, the owner is great and has probably fixed this by now!
- Rohitha (9/5): Superb - Overall good stay
- Robert (7/5): Great location and value if you’re good with walking 10 minutes to transportation, and it would be a great place to have - Gros was very attentive and responsive to questions prior to the stay and during the stay. WiFi had a limit and was used between three vessels, and if any one guest used a lot of bandwidth, all the others were without once the limit was reached.
