• Hannah (10/5): Incredible host, boat and location! Would highly recommend! - Such a unique experience that we will have lasting memories of! Ruud is a very welcoming host and his property is beautifully thought out and in the most amazing location. Comfortable, clean, spacious and with many mod cons that make it a truly memorable stay. Walking distance to cafes, shops and restaurants and very close and easily accessible to Amsterdam centraal train station. Nothing!

• Karen (10/5): Fun experience on a canal boat in a great location. - The location was excellent. Easy walk to the Red light district, the Dam Square, The Jaardan neighborhood, central station, and even to the cruise pier. Many cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We loved the experience of the canal boat. All details were thought out for the comfort of the guest. The bedding was super comfy, best German feather pillows! However, If you have any mobility issues it may be a challenge to maneuver the circular stairs from the land down to the dock. We found going down backwards/sideways while using the hand holds easy enough for these two old broads. The locking gate was a nice bonus, making us feel safe and secure. The owner lives in the second half of the canal boat so if anything was needed he was available. Nothing comes to mind. All was good!

• Rosie (10/5): Excellent, would highly recommend - Absolutely fabulous stay, would recommend it anybody!! Boat was so well looked after and the has every mod con you could think of! Rudd was great as a host and showed us round and showed us everything we needed. It was great having a fully functioning small kitchen - no detail left out, he even had a milk frother! The bed was big and comfy, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and watching apple tv/netflix etc. Small corner shop very close and it's a very central location. Nothing!

• Nicole (10/5): An amazingly unique experience! Loved it!! - Ruud was a wonderful host and the accommodation was amazing. We had a warm welcome on arrival and Ruud showed us through the boat and how to use everything. It was warm and cozy, with some lovely extra touches including extra towels, welcome drinks, nuts, olives etc that were very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this accommodation and would love to stay again in future. It was relaxing, unique and very comfortable. Thank you so much Ruud for your warm hospitality. Our stay on the boat has been a very special part of our holiday!

It's ideally situated, it sits on a nice and peaceful canal but is a 2 minute walk to the red light district and all the restaurants, bars etc. The boat itself is nice and clean. Big and comfortable bed with all the mod cons needed to make it feel like a home from home. I've stayed on this boat 4 times now and it's the only I'll stay if visiting Amsterdam

• Karl (10/5): - The owner has put a lot if money into modern features in the unit which make it a great experience. The bathroom was recently remodeled and very clean. The view from the windows of the canal was great. Very quiet given its location. The owner was very helpful and takes great pride in his unit. He was helpful with our bags as well as good restaurant recommendations nearby. We would definitely stay here again. Book early!! Not much to mention. The location is close to the train station which makes it a little far from popular attractions. Given that nothing is too far away, it didn't bother us. Easy to walk or take trams.

Inside the boat was excellent, everything was modern. looked new. Everything was clean. I loved this place and when I visit Amsterdam again I will definitely be staying here. Nothing really.. Ruud, the host was so welcoming. I suppose the only thing would be amount of time we stayed... not long enough!
• Cecily (10/5): One of the top stays and experiences in Amsterdam. - We had booked this place a year in advance, and between then and our stay, it has been updated, so it is even nicer than the original photos. Our host was very accommodating about holding our luggage until the room was ready. We loved all the different snacks (nuts, candy, soda, etc.) he provided. We didn't know that all the canal cruise companies sailed right by here until we sat outside on the bench on the stern and saw them. People would smile and wave at us thinking we were residents, I'm sure. The metal steps going down to the boat are narrow and steep. We didn't have a problem with them, but you do have to be careful. The host actually lifted our luggage up and down for us, so we didn't have to try maneuvering it on our own.

Felt very secure in Boat No Breakfast. We were unwell when we arrived but the accommodation felt like home away from hom to recuperate. Thank you for having us Ruud.

• Druvis (10/5): A quiet, beautifully furnished, modern and comfortable apartment on a boat in the center of Amsterda - Beautifully furnished apartment on a boat in the center of Amsterdam. The apartment is very comfortable, and everything has been thoughtfully arranged. The host has designed it just the way he would want it to be if he were a guest himself—and he has done an excellent job. We were pleasantly surprised by the advanced household technology. Soap and shower gel come from a touch-sensitive faucet. Boiling water is available from the kitchen tap by turning a special ring. I would gladly stay here again. Not a single thing was missing – it was perfect in every way.

• Maria (10/5): Awesome canal boat accommodation in a great location. - Staying on Boat no Breakfast was one of the highlights of our European trip. It was so cool to look out the windows and have the view of the canal. Ruud was an excellent host; communicating clearly and efficiently. He was there to meet us and provide a comprehensive orientation of the accommodation. There are so many well considered amenities and thoughtful touches including a bottle of wine and platter of food and a beautiful bunch of flowers. The boat is in a great location, a short walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station. Ruud provided a couple recommendations on places to eat which were good. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to my friends. The access to the boat is via a narrow, metal, circular staircase. It was fine for us but I wouldn’t recommend it to those with mobility concerns.

• Lee (10/5): Outstanding accommodation in a great location - I've stayed in several hotels and apartments across Amsterdam over the years, and I can sincerely say, this is the best accommodation I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The location is second to none, only ten minutes from the station and close to everything. Every attention to detail was provided during our stay, including drinks and snacks on arrival. My one worry was the cold, as we stayed in early February. However, the boat was warm and was nice to come home to after being out all day and night. I would 100% recommend staying on Boat no Breakfast. Rudd, thank you hospitality.

The location is great, just a short walk and your at all the main areas and a short walk from Centraal station. Ruud made check in and out so smooth and made sure we knew all about the boat. We had a really fantastic stay in Ruud’s boat-he was a superb host, very communicative and met us on the boat to show us how everything around and to make sure we had everything we needed. The boat itself was incredibly comfortable and had all the mod cons including a coffee machine, dishwasher, Bluetooth stereo, tv etc. Ruud has put a lot of thought into the planning the boat to make sure guests have the best experience. The location was spot on, really quiet but very central and close to everything, perfect for exploring Amsterdam. We really couldn’t fault it and will definitely stay on the boat again if we visit Amsterdam. It was a truly unforgettable trip! That we had to leave!

Perfect bedding. A suprisingly good café just in front of the boat serving good food and drinks. There is no kitchen or even microwave, which was known on booking, so no issue, but having one would improve the experience. Owner told us this will probably we installed as local regululations now permit this (before not).

• Dean (10/5): Perfect location quirky option of staying in Amsterdam - The boat was really spacious, the bed and sofa bed were comfortable, it was surprisingly quiet inside, the views from the were boat were lovely. The location was perfect for what we wanted. Right in the centre so only a upto 20min walk to the places we wanted to go. The host was really friendly and left us some snacks, drinks and fruit to start us off, the boat had everything we needed for a short stay plenty of towels etc.

The bed was really comfortable and heating good. The host, Ruud, is excellent and extremely helpful. The stairs going down to the boat are a little difficult but Ruud helped with bags which was a relief! Not having any way to heat food except for a toaster was a bit of a pain in such cold weather! A microwave would have been useful.

• Suat (10/5): A dreamy experience - Although it is the winter season, there has never been a heating problem. The beds were super comfortable. Having Netflix and apple tv was an advantage. It was stationed on a quiet canal in the main center of the city. Our host was a super positive person. He helped us with everything. The sound insulation was great. There was a private entrance. The hot water and shower were great. When we go to the Netherlands again, it is definitely a place we would like to stay. Almost all the attractions were within walking distance. It would be perfect if disposable slippers are also added.
