- Chad (8/5): - The tatami matting with a futon ended up being greater than expected. At first the futon. Could probably use some denser ones, especially as I'm on the heavier side. I just used the futon cover/dunar they provided as an extra matting and requested a blanket, super comfy after that.

- Lesley (8/5): Great value, location and very clean. - It is an excellent location, affordable and clean. It was very quiet.

- Olia (8/5): Good - It was a good-feeling place with lots of locals. The room was cozy, and I liked how the shower was organized!
Atmosphere-wise: everyone to himself, not touristy and not business-hotely too much. The bathtub was fully booked when I checked-in
Entrance gets really crowded since there is cafe downstairs

- Charlotta (5/5): Good location and potential but some rooms have a problem with damp. - The location is great, lots of vibrant eateries close by, and a quick walk to the train station. We liked the entrance, cute cafe and communal area. I also like the fact that it has a traditional Japanese bathtub although we didn’t have time to use it ourselves. Robes were a really nice touch and something that we didn’t get at every guest house we stayed at in Japan. Our room although clean and well presented traditional Japanese style which is what we were hoping for, let us down because of the odour of damp. At first we thought it was a strong feet smell but then we noticed the shower severely leaking close to the room, and put two and two together and realised that there was a damp problem with the rooms on that side of the building. We also noticed the staff were running dehumidifiers in those areas of the building 24/7. Then, when we went to the staff to let them know about the smell and asked to switch to a different room, the man we spoke to said that was just what tatami smells like. This did not seem right at all, as we were of the understanding tatami has a nice straw like smell, not like smelly feet at all. After pushing a bit more he agreed to move us to a different room, which quite unsurprisingly smelt absolutely fine. This guesthouse has all the potential to be an amazing stay, but they need to get on top of this damp issue and quickly before more customers are put off like we were.
- Konrad (8/5): Good value - Location is great, clean japanese style rooms Tiny shared toilets, even for japanese standard, because the building is also a cafe i couldn't find any staff to check me in, plus the slippers and my shoes in shoe shelves they provide were taken and moved by other clients/guests
- Simea Mira (7/5): - The Ryokan lies in a very underrated neighbourhood of Tokyo, it has a small cafe inside and is very cute! The rooms are small, but bigger than I excpected, we were tracelling with a bakcpack so it wasn‘t a problem at all, but I think if you have big suitcases you‘d have to put aways the mats before opening it. The toilets were clean and it had everything you needed. The staff was super helpful with our luggage-service to another hotel etc. The room did smell a bit, but we had a window, wich helped a lot, however I don‘t know if it‘s the matts or something else but it did kind of smell like mold. It did not bother us as much since we really only slept there.
The showers need a deep cleaning! There was mold on the roof and the showerhead in one of the showers. And something that isn‘t the hotels fault but could be communicated to the guests is that you shouldn‘t be loud after 11pm. We had neighbours that were brushing their teeth and spitting very loudly for a very long time.
- Flora Genius (9/5): - A good location for a great price! Have stayed here many times over the years, and while the communal TV area isn't quite there for random interactions anymore a cafe downstairs is inviting in its own way.

- LUC (6/5): Not a very comfortable room, but one of the cheapest hotel in Tokyo - Good price for Tokyo. Place is clean and staff is nice and efficient. There's a coffee shop in the building (didn't try it, but it's a good point). Rooftop smoking area. Very small room. Strong humidity smell. View on a very near wall (like often in Tokyo). Not a place for claustrophobic persons!

- Hannah (8/5): Cute traditional Japanese rooms - We liked the traditional Japanese style facilities with the beds on the floor and they provided Yukatas to use which was fun. The room was very cute and cozy too. It's a pretty quick walk from the station with quite a bit to do in the area. The curfew is very strict, which was a little frustrating when we wanted to stay out with friends while on vacation in Tokyo. They won't let you in or out between 1am and 7am, which we found to be difficult. The rooms were pretty small, but that wasn't too big of a deal for us. The staff also wasn't super welcoming. They weren't rude, but just kind of kept to themselves and didn't interact with us much.
- Eric (9/5): - The hotel and the neighbourhood was quiet at night. There’s a futon in the hotel that you can reserve for every night of your stay. There’s an emergency light next to the window of my room but there’s no curtain because the room is traditional Japanese room so the light came into the room making it a bit bright for sleeping…

- Maria (10/5): - The location for this stay was great! as all of the staff were super friendly upon arrival, as definitely checking the cafe they have is worth to see! As being able to experience a full traditional stay is definitely something to try and Kimi Ryokan is that place!

- Nguyễn (9/5): - Everything was fantastic. The staffs are welcoming, while the atmosphere is cozy. A good place to shelter in the cold weather. My room smells a bit moldy but my friend's one didn't. But I think it's kinda unavoidable since it was rainy and wet weather.
- Arjan (8/5): -

- Paolo_Folchitto (10/5): Sarà la mia dimora ogni volta che tornerò a Tokyo. - Meraviglioso soggiorno. Pulizia impeccabile, posizione ottima a 10 minuti dalla metro Ikebukura. Spero di tornare presto. Ogno cosa è perfetta
- Jeff (8/5): Good for the pruce - Close to main station in Ikebukuro. Good coffee on site as well as the Japenese bath Having to plan around curfew hours and availability of bath.
- Chiara (7/5): -
- Juliane (10/5): Wundervolles Ryokan, ab jetzt meine feste Bleibe in Tokyo.
- Igea (10/5): Amazing place to stay. Staff were so helpful & the Japanese hot bath at the end of the day was great - Amazing place to stay in Tokyo. Staff were so helpful and the Japanese hot bath at the end of a long day was brilliant. Nothing
- Marie (10/5): -
