Ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Zentrums von Athen. Jammern auf hohem Niveau: eine Halterung für den Duschkopf wäre schön.

• Cally (10/5): Perfect place in Plaka! - The location is excellent. Close to the Acropolis, Monastaraki square in the heart of Plaka. The beds are comfortable and ample living space for our family of 5. Kitchen well stocked. The roof top terrace is beautiful for sunrise and sunset. Communication with hosts was excellent and they kindly supplied us with some cold water and fresh fruit on arrival.

• Joanna (10/5): Love this place. - We just love this place.  The place is stylish, spacious and cosy.  Each room has its own air conditioning (incl living room and kitchen), which was a lifesaver during the hot days in Athens. It truly felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed restful nights and woke up refreshed, ready to explore. The location couldn't be better, just a short stroll from the Acropolis exit, and surrounded by fab restaurants and shopping streets. Everything we wanted to see and do was right at our doorstep. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and would love to return on our next visit. None.

Need better curtains on windows to block out light. Some noise at night, but expected given the location in the heart of things. The terrace is really nice, but the stairs could be challening for some people.

• Bliss (10/5): Fantastic pre-cruise Stay! - Location was perfect for walking around and close to everything we needed. My teenage daughter had her own "space" and could escape from the parents for some down time. Although we didn't use the kitchen, it was stocked with essentials. Beds were comfortable and being able to do laundry before our cruise was a bonus. Rooftop was my favorite space and I wish we had booked longer. We would definitely book again! There were a few "quirks" but once you figured them out, they were not an issue. Fridge handle fell off, so we just used the side of the fridge to open. Shower faucet was lower than we are used to, but we figured out how to make it work for us.

Spacious and comfortable with a great roof terrace with views. A toaster would've been nice but not essential, a hook for the shower head would also be helpful so you can shower with both hands free!
• Karen (9/5): Superb - Modern accommodation with a Greek edge. The location is exceptional, with many restaurants and bars within a 2 min walk. All sightseeing landmarks are within walking distance. The rooftop terrace is fabulous The spiral staircase to the rooftop terrace would be difficult to climb for some. It can be a little noisy at night, but not too bad. Main bathroom with the shower is small and needs a hook for the shower head. There was no daily service as mentioned in the info

The air conditioning was exactly what we needed after a long hot day. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. There was nothing I didn't like about this apartment. However, the spiral staircases might be an issue for some travelers. If you can navigate stairs, you will be fine.

Elena was super nice and responsive, an excellent host!! Main TV didn’t work, more towels would have been nice, housekeeper was early and rude when checking out.

I have travelled the world and would definitely come back to stay in this amazing location in Plaka again ! They could add shades on the windows to help reduce ambient light at night and street noise

• Julie (10/5): Exceptional - We had the most amazing stay at the Plaka house! We organized to have a car pick us up at the airport and the driver got the keys and let us in. The place was beautiful and clean, we loved the rooftop, and there was fresh fruit and coffee waiting for us! The location was perfect, it was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go, close to restaurants and grocery stores, and activities and more. We will definitely stay here again, highly recommend!
• Karen (10/5): Loved staying at this accommodation: perfect location, full of character, with amazing views. - The accommodation is a gorgeous house, full of character, on a quiet street with little traffic, just below the Acropolis. It is central and walkable to the main tourist attractions and also some lovely restaurants and bars. The house was clean and very well appointed, and made for a lovely stay. The views from the rooftop terrace over the city were stunning, especially at sunset. We flew into Athens, and found it easiest to get the metro into the city, as the accommodation is a 5 minute walk from the metro station. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

• Janina (10/5): Simply fantastic and designed for great memories - Exceptional accommodation, right in the middle of Athens Plaka where one has everything in close walking distance including archeological sites (with famous Acropolis) and one of the oldest family-owned traditional greek items shop right across. The roof top terrace is unbelievable - spacious yet cozy thanks to plenty of seating options and numerous pillows, the view is stunning. The rooms were super clean with everything we possibly could require. Communication with owners was effortless, prompt, kind and helpful. We just loved our stay!

• Kathryn (10/5): Excellent property with amazing location and views - The home surpassed our expectations! We have never been to Athens before, and the location could not be beat! The view of the city as well as the Acropolis was amazing! Also, very walkable to restaurants, shops, markets, and tourist attractions. Also, management of this property was very helpful and even helped us arrange transportation from the airport and to the port for our cruise. Would highly recommend this property.
• Ashley (9/5): Great location. The listing was as described. We loved the terrace. - The location was AMAZING! So many restaurant options nearby and easy to get to many destinations on foot. The listing/pictures was as described It was easy to communicate with the property but google maps was confused. The terrace is GIANT and the atmosphere is great Everything you need for a group. Well appointed kitchen. Plenty of space for our group of 4. As Americans the showers were not normal for us. We are used to doors on the showers and shower heads but it wasn’t a real problem, just different to us. Although it was not an issue for our group please be aware if anyone in your group has mobility issues you may have a problem. One bedroom is downstairs and the terrace is upstairs so you need to be comfortable with stairs, both with winding staircases. We would have appreciated more information on how to use things in the apartment/recommendations in the area
• Anne (8/5): A nice house in a Plaka near Tavernas and Acropole - We liked the view from the roof top and the location in the Center of Plaka. It was useful air conditioning which works very well. Two rooms were good but the third one had an old bed more like a camp bed which was quite uncomfortable. It can be noisy but this is in the Center so also this is an advantage
