• Chilik Laub (8/5): - The apartment is almost on the top of the hill of the old town of Berat, and albeit it's quite difficult to get there it's worth it. The view is wonderful, and you get to wander nice small streets. The host was very welcoming, and the restaurant attached to the guest house which owned by the host as well was very nice and served us good breakfast.

• Christophe (5/5): Avis mitigé, mais tarif attractif. - Chambre composée de trois lits simples, meublée simplement. Nichée au coeur du quartier historique, elle dispose d'une grande terrasse commune avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée et les collines environnantes. Petit déjeuner correct, mais il manque des fruits. Pour info : même gérance que le restaurant Véranda, situé à proximité, auquel il faut s'adresser à l'arrivée et en cas de besoin... Pour info également : accès piéton et très pentu. Peu de stationnement à proximité. Chambre mal insonorisée et sombre. Une forte odeur d'égout émane de la salle de bains et se diffuse dans la chambre. La connexion au wifi est instable, la borne wifi doit être rebooter. Pas de réponse aux messages adressés au gérant via Booking, ni aux appels téléphoniques. Paiement en espèces demandé, mais ni facture ni reçu.
• Robin (7/5): - Le logement offre une belle vue sur la ville de Berat, terrasse agréable. Il est situé sur les hauteurs de la ville, il faut monter à travers les ruelles pour y accéder. Chambre et salle de bains correctes et confortables. L'annonce indique un petit déjeuner inclus, ce n'est pas le cas. Un parking est aussi indiqué, il n'y en a pas. Il faudra trouver de la place dans les rues de Berat plus bas. Nous sommes passés par notre hôte pour une excursion au canyon Osum, les endroits visités étaient beaux mais nous n'avons pas apprécié la conduite du chauffeur.

Eviterei di venire qui se si hanno problemi motori e/o troppi bagagli. La stanza era piccolina, ma accogliente. Quando ho dovuto posticipare il mio arrivo di un giorno, sono stati comprensivi ed hanno accettato la mia richiesta. Avevo scelto la stanza anche perché avevo la colazione inclusa. Quando mi sono svegliato alle 7'30 non c'era nessuno, ho mandato un messaggio al proprietario, al quale non ho mai ricevuto risposta. Quindi sono andato a fare colazione a mie spese.

De er svært avslappet. Måtte ringe og vekke de for frokost også 😁. Men 2.500 år gamle bygninger som de har pusset opp. Nydelig bad, nydelig utsikt, nydelig atmosfære
• Ellen (8/5): Good value - It was bare-bones, basically it's just two bedrooms run by one family, and I barely saw them after I got there. The bedroom had three single beds. They let me leave my stuff in the room when I arrived around 1pm, though they were still cleaning. The view is great and there is a terrace restaurant/bar above with even better view. Good value for cheap. It's a bit up the hill, as other reviews said, so just be prepared to walk up. I did not end up getting the breakfast because I wanted to leave before 8am.

• Guardiola (8/5): - Habitació confortable i un bon bany. Esmorzar correcte i casolà. Molt bones vistes. Està al barri de Mangalem. Excel·lent terrassa exterior. Hi ha un restaurant (Velarda) molt aprop que es part de la Guest House, amb unes vistes increïbles i amb un menjar casolà molt bo fet per l'Aria. Costa arribar-hi fins a dalt del hotel amb maletes però val la pena per les vistes. Difícil aparcar. No hi ha recepció.

• Sandra (7/5): Good if you want to stay in the old city - Hotel situated in the old city of Berat (on top of the hill). Very friendly and nice staff. They have a restaurant, where they serve breakfast, that it is actually very good. Nice views. Since the hotel was on the high part of the old city, the way there is a bit difficult (moreover with suitcases - although the owner offered to help us with the luggage). Room was kind of clean (no under the beds) and we found some bugs on the room...

• Jacopo (1/5): Dilettanti allo sbaraglio - La terrazza panoramica ha un che. L'host si è presentato con più di un'ora di ritardo, pur essendo stato avvisato telefonicamente per tempo del nostro arrivo. Una volta giunto all'appartamento, non si è minimamente scusato e anzi, ha abbandonato l'alloggio facendo gestire l'accoglienza ad un familiare (che tra l'altro si trovava già nei dintorni ma non era stato avvisato: per cosa abbiamo aspettato quindi sotto il sole?). Per quanto riguarda la stanza, l'abbiamo trovata già con la porta spalancata e con delle impronte sporche di cane (abbiamo poi scoperto essere randagio) sul letto. Il pavimento non era stato evidentemente pulito: abbiamo trovato salviette sporche di trucco per terra e delle ciabatte in gomma abbandonate. Il sacchetto del cestino in bagno, inoltre, aveva ancora dentro i rifiuti dei precedenti ospiti. Per finire, la doccia non presentava il vetro che si vede dalle foto. All'interno del frigo della stanza era presente un cespo d'insalata... Ultimo ma non meno importante, la struttura non possiede un parcheggio privato, come indicato su Booking, quindi una volta arrivati, abbiamo dovuto cercarcelo da soli e camminare per 2 km sotto il sole. Nonostante tutti questi disagi, al momento del pagamento (in euro) la signora ci ha tornato il resto in lek con un cambio di suo piacimento e che non corrispondeva al normale cambio albanese.

• Dominik (10/5): Highly recommended for a relaxing and authentic stay in Berat. - Aria Baci Guesthouse is a wonderful place to stay in Berat. The location is excellent—with a stunning view from the terrace overlooking the city center. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. It’s easy to find, though you do need to walk uphill a bit through the charming old town streets. Parking wasn’t an issue—we found a spot nearby, and the owners even sent someone to help us if needed. Highly recommended for a relaxing and authentic stay in Berat.

• Erik (8/5): Prachtig uitzicht in authentiek guesthouse! - Het uitzicht vanuit het terras. De airco en wifi werkte goed. Eigenaar was behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ontbijt was goed en uitzicht wederom geweldig. Lastig te vinden en de weg erna qua lopen met koffers was de HEL. Neem alleen mee wat je die avond nodig hebt en niet zoals wij twee zware tassen. Sowieso als je slecht ter been bent heeft een bezoek aan Berat weinig zin.
• Mart (8/5): - De accommodatie is in een prachtig oud gebouw in het oude centrum van Berat. Dit zorgt ervoor dat het even omhoog lopen is naar boven, maar dit is logisch op een plek als Berat. Het uitzicht is hierdoor prachtig, ook vanuit de kamer. De kamer was simpel, maar netjes en goed in verhouding met de prijs met goed werkende airco. De badkamer was pas gerenoveerd en zag er goed uit. Het personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en er zat een restaurant / bar met prachtig uitzicht boven het Guest House. Er is aangegeven dat er een privé parkeergelegenheid is, maar dit is niet het geval. De accommodatie is heel erg lastig te vinden en dit is vervelend als je verwacht de auto ergens neer te kunnen zetten. Uiteindelijk is met behulp van het personeel een goede (openbare) parkeerplek gevonden en is er geholpen met het tillen van de koffer naar boven.

• Daniel (10/5): Great place to observe the landscape - The lady who received us was really nice, they have actually a restaurant next to the rooms with a great view. The room and the place itself has also a awesome view. Don't trust Google path just see the map (satellite view recommended) and make your own itinerary. We didn't mind, but it is located in the mountain if you have limited mobility it is not recommended.

Perfect voor twee nachten. De weg naar boven is zwaar. Haal beneden de spullen die je nodig hebt uit je koffer mocht je die bij je hebben, anders wordt het een zware trip. De douchekop lag los, deze moest je dus zelf vasthouden. Klein nadeel.

• Conor (9/5): - The location and view from the balcony was great, with a restaurant upstairs that also had great views. The room was clean and bed was comfortable and quiet during our stay. Due to the location, there are a lot of steps you have to walk up, and Google Maps doesn't work great when trying to get up to the property. However, the staff were helpful. The bathroom is easy to flood, and the WiFi didn't work. Also had to park about a 10 minute walk and pay 5 euro for parking.

On peut également dîner ou déjeuner chez l’hôte sur le rooftop. Un réel plaisir de séjourner ici. L’emplacement est à proximité du centre et du château. Il est plutôt central pour tout visiter.

There is no wifi and the 2 outlets beside the bed don't work. There were hairs in the bathroom sink, but everything else was clean. Because it is in the Mangalem neighbourhood which consists of skinny alleys, you have to park your car down below and walk up for about 5 minutes so if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage, it isn't convenient. I only brought what I needed for the night and left everything else in the car so the climb wasn't an issue.

The rooms were beautiful and cold which was nice since outside was too hot, the beds were soft , the owner of the property was sooo lovely and she gave us to try traditional Albanian food made in by her in her house and always came checking in the morning or at night to see if there is something we need. The whole experience was just incredible + the way to the place was so beautiful and unique There s nothing we didn t love

• Noelia (7/5): - When I arrived at the property, the lady who greeted me told me that they had no place for me because a group of 9 had arrived and I was alone, so she apologized but that I could stay in another accommodation that her cousin had for the same price, this was a little further from the center, the cousin came to pick me up and I was very kind, and the room was very comfortable. But this situation bothered me, since I was arriving from a long trip, tired and I also had to climb many steps to get to the house and they told me that they had no room for me. They should have canceled me if they didn't have a place, because I think that you reserve to have the security of a place when you arrive, I consider it a lack of respect that they do this.
