Guest Reviews
- Mariana Alina (8/5): Muy agradable.
- Zuzanna (10/5): Świetne miejsce z cudowną gospodynią - Zdecydowanie bardzo dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. Niezwykle czysto (!), super balkon żeby sobie wieczorem odpocząć, całkiem spory pokój, wygodne łóżko, mała lodówka w pokoju i dobrze działający internet.
- Daniel (8/5): Pobyt udany. - Lokalizacja Stara winda , strach było wejść .
- Harrison (10/5): -

- Felicia (7/5): Great location - Location was central, the place was clean and the mattress was very comfortable. Unfortunately our reservation was forgotten and my partner, who had arrived first, had to wait over an hour outside until someone brought over the key.
- Mark (10/5): Such a Lovely Little Gem - It's a lovely little place in the heart of Romes Termini district. And the veranda was my favourite spot so nice to be able to wake up and go outside and enjoy a coffee in the sun 🌞. I can't really say i disliked anything, maybe more facilities for cooking, especially if you are on a budget.
- Nattu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melika (9/5): Highly recommended - We stayed there for two nights. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and it had a lovely balcony that caught the morning sun we really liked it. The building also had a lift, which made things much easier for us since we had few pieces of luggage. We definitely go back. Check-in was confusing. It was mentioned that the key pickup was at a different unit, but it was actually the same place. There was no name on the doorbell, so I spent about 30 minutes asking around. Eventually, someone helped me call the host. I recommend messaging her a few days in advance to confirm check-in, as she’s slow to respond.
- Ivana (10/5): Perfect room with balcony. - Everything was very nice, room was very comfortable and clean. Balcony was perfect. Very kindly person. Colosseum and all other famous places are near , about 20 minutes by waking.
- Anastasiia (8/5): Very good - clean room, comfortable bed, nice terrace, convenient location the room is no longer new. There are scratches, stains on the walls, etc.
- Hull (9/5): Superb -
- Varun (10/5): A nice cozy apartment a stone throw away from Termini station - The room was very clean and stocked with towels and fresh linen. The balcony was a nice addition but unfortunately it was raining during our stay so we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we wanted. There was tea and coffee for us along with a microwave and some cutlery for us to enjoy takeouts. Overall it was a nice stay. The ac unit occasionally made some noise even when it was switched off. Nothing too bad
- Marcus (8/5): Excellent stay and host who was able to accommodate later check-in. Decent location that is pretty walkable / access - Nice host and good space, has an elevator too.
Balcony is a plus Do note you need to pay city tax in cash separately! Booking.com does not combine the fee for you
- Beata (10/5): Great stay in very good location. - Everything was fantastic! Location was amazing. Very convenient, because close to metro and train. The apartment was immaculately clean with wonderful, incredibly attentive host as an added value! Thank you very much. We will come back once in the future. Nothing!
- Clare (9/5): Superb - I didn't realise I was meant to email with arrival time. Hotel below appt no longer holds key but we rang host and she answered straight away and immediately met us with key.
Great value accommodation, very clean apartment and bed really comfy. Location very close to main train terminal - we walked everywhere apart from metro ride to Vatican.
Lots of places near termini to store case on our last day which cost only 7 euros. Would recommend (except if claustrophobic as lift VERY small and 6 floors up)
- Gilbuena (9/5): A pleasant and comfortable stay - Location was good, close to Termini station which has modern shops and a wide selection of restaurants. Close to attractions. Balcony was quaint and room was comfortable along with the bed. Has easy access to stairs and elevator. Nothing was wrong for us. The room is on the 6th floor and there is a petite elevator a person’s width and 3 long. Unusual sized elevator if you’re not used to that.
- Nesrin (7/5): Good -
- Emanuel (10/5): Perfect, will stay there again. Thank you. - The property is located in 5 min walking distance from Termini station. The room was clear and nice. Bed was perfect. The main highlight is terrace, coffee in the morning and fresh air day and night. A lot of restaurants around. There wasn't any sign with hotel name. Staying in front of hotel you have to guess are you already in your destination or no? So, after you found the address stay there until Stella bring you keys. Don't try to call her, just leave a voice message and wait for her until check-in time.
- John (10/5): It was a great stay for my partner’s and my first visit to Rome. - Very close to the train station/ metro and walkable to the colosseum and fountain. Very close to some amazing restaurants. Comfortable and simple. The host provided everything we needed.
- Brooke (10/5): Great accommodation. - Really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, well air conditioned and it was nice to have the outdoor patio. Great amenities. Great communication and lovely host. Enjoyed our stay completely.
- Roger (8/5): Fabulous - The host was exceptional. Great communication and the room was super clean and comfortable. We particularly liked the balcony for drying and airing clothes and shoes etc. The location was brilliant easy from Airport with direct express train and we picked up a hire car at termini to leave which was so easy. The area around termini was excellent with a large number of dining and breakfast choices. Chiara Rooms is highly recommended and we will be suggesting it to friends and family. Nothing at all really. It eas perfect base for 2-3 nights in Roma
- Annette (8/5): Very good -
- Marissa (6/5): Allover it was okay! Nice for a short stay - It had a balcony which was great! We enjoyed that very much. Our hostess was also very friendly and responded quickly on WhatsApp. During our stay there was no hot water for two days. And I wish the apartment was closer to some of the monuments.
- Maija (9/5): Superb - Very clean and spacious apartment and a nice host. Location is great, right next to all public transports but it will take a trip to get to all of the historical sites. For the price this was amazing. The room is in a bigger apartment, the host lives nextdoor and at some points it was quite noisy (also at night) when someone was walking by as the door to the guest room was quite thin.
- Mariana (1/5): Bad - Check-in process was very unorganized and with wrong instructions. We stayed 2 nights and right after the first night on Saturday morning, property staff decided to wake me up for no reason (she came and knocked at my door) because she wants to water the flowers on the terrace. Even though she had another access from other side. Check out morning since 8 am staff was making a lot of noise. Basically I could not take any rest during this 2 days stay. I am super disappointed with unprofessional and disturbing staff.
- Brabec (10/5): Exceptional - Ease of check in. Balcony a big plus. Comfortable and perfect for a quick Rome visit. It was all good! Highly recommended for a couple.
- Bruna (10/5): Excellent! - The host is lovely and the room is super comfortable! Good AC helped us to deal with the insane Italian summer. Great location, near lots of restaurants, shops, cafes, and everything you need. We also loved having a balcony for breakfast!
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and the host was very nice and accommodating. 5 minute walk from Roma Termini which is great. It takes about 15 -30 minutes to walk to the center (depending on where you are going).
- Aadil (8/5): Very good -
- Oksana (8/5): Very good -
- Alkistis (10/5): Lovely stay near the Termini Station! - The host was very friendly and answered all of the questions that we had. The room was spacious and the balcony lovely - we had our breakfast and coffee there every day. Termini Station was only 5 minutes away on foot. I was worried about collecting the keys as we were to arrive quite late but the hotel next to us was able to provide them as the reception was 24/7. All in all, very satisfied.
- Shirley (7/5): Good - The location was really central and we could just walk/take a few metro stops to the main attractions. The room was also clean and I really loved the balcony where I could just chill and relax :)
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marta (10/5): Perfect apartment for few days trip in Rome! - The owner was really friendly and kind, she was responding to the messages quickly, contact was easy. The apartment had a lovely balcony with nice view, perfect for breakfast. The apartment had small fridge and some dishes with cutlery. The location was perfect, close to Termini station and really nice restaurant just next door. I really recommend the stay at Chiara Rooms!
- Sourabh (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marie (8/5): Very good - The location is very central and literally within comfortable walking distance from train station, bus depot and certain attractions. The host was super helpful and very flexible. The lift is quite small but appreciated the fact that there is one, considering the apartment is situated on the 6th floor of a large building
- Sotìris (10/5): Best stay for two close to Termini!!! - Very nice and big apartment with all the amenities you need for a short or longer stay in Rome!!! Very clean, lovely bathroom, tons of hot water plus a lovely terrace for smokers or for breakfast, aperitivo or meals in the warm months of the year!!! The location is perfect...close to Termini, metro and a huge selection of buses to get you all over Rome!!! I definitely recommend it!!! Maybe a new air conditioner that works for heating as well would be better for cold winter time!!!
- Salih (10/5): Easy acceess to apartment keys, wonderful host, beautiful balcony. Tnx. - Easy acceess to apartment keys, wonderful host, beautiful balcony. Tnx.
- Irina (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel's location was exceptionally convenient, being just a 3-minute walk from Roma Termini and a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. The room was impeccably clean, offering a pleasant view from the terrace. The bathroom maintained a high standard of cleanliness, contributing to an overall satisfying experience.
- Mariana (9/5): Great location, nice balcony! - Location is great. Very close to Termini, and walking distance to the Colosseum.
Balcony is great, fridge and kettle provided in the room.
Good-sized bathroom, and clean overall.
Close to public transport and tour buses. Wouldn't recommend for a long-term stay.. 3-4 days is good enough to do everything you need to do around Rome, without feeling too cramped.
Note, it IS a good size, just maybe not "living" size for long term.
- Marina (7/5): In general it was good. - Cleanliness, host hospitality, location Unfortunately, there is a noise from the elevator in the building, but it can’t be improved by the host, obviously. For sensitive sleepers like me it was kind of annoying, thankfully I had earpods with noise canceling option…
- Destiny (10/5): Exceptional - Location. It was close to everything such as food and main attractions were within 20min walking. The room was very clean and the host was very nice and quick to respond. It was great
- Mary (8/5): Very good -
- Sylvia (9/5): Close to train station - Quiet and balcony area. Comfortable room. Fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster. Short walk from Station. Bed was too hard for us. Lift worked but very small. Hand held shower.
- Isla (10/5): Great location only 15 min walk to colloseum - Great location - only 2 blocks from train station and a 15 min walk to colloseum, check in was super easy picked up keys from the hotel on the bottom floor.
Chiara rooms is located on level 6 and there is an elevator upto level 6.
Room was serviced every day with bins emptied and plate and cups changed. Nothing to say, everything was great and private balcony
- Fiona (10/5): Great location, comfortable stay - Great location for visiting the Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Forum, palace and Pantheon. A few hundred metres from Roma Termini. After a long haul flight from Australia, it was easy to catch the Airtrain and be at the accommodation within 10 minutes of arriving at the station. Nothing. It was very clean, the balcony was a lovely spot for a glass of wine and snacks after s big day of walking, and the air conditioning provided great relief from the heat. Stella was fabulous, ready to answer any questions at the drop of a hat.
- Chelsea (8/5): Very good -
- Therese (9/5): Great hosts - It was close to many attractions and 5 mins from the train station Nothing, not really a negative however the check in was at the hotel in the same building and the man on the desk said that the lift only went to floor 5 and we had to carry cases up to floor 6 …. This was not true … the lift does go to floor 6 and the apartment was right next to the lift
- Stephen (7/5): Very affordable and practical. - Easy location from the main train terminal. We walked everywhere (Trevi fountain maybe 20 mins away) but probably not ideally suited to those that don't like to walk. Very small lift, but better than not having one. Definitely not luxurious but affordable and served our location needs and budget. We were there for the sights and travelling and not to luxuriate! Nothing to complain about
- Donald (9/5): A great location from which to enjoy Rome. - A short walk from railway station and easy access to many restaurants. Lovely balcony, although too hot to use. A pleasant clean fresh room and bathroom. The narrow lift to the sixth floor needed getting used to - but we did.
- Theseira (9/5): Superb - The room was well equipped with toaster, microwave oven, coffee and tea and most importantly, a mini fridge. A veranda overlooked the other was a spectacular sight. A gem in Rome to enjoy. The central water heater for the shower. Inconsistent temperature while showering.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was lovely, she gave great directions and was accommodating to leaving our bags and the location was fantastic, quiet and very sweet little balcony Nothing
- Michal (9/5): Superb -
- Maha (10/5): Exceptional - If I could rate the cleanliness on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 20. It’s the cleanest room I’ve ever checked in to. The location is also perfect. it’s close to everything and there are plenty of bars and restaurants close by. It’s 4mn walk from the termini station so it’s perfect for late check in.
Chiara is very nice and made our stay as smooth as possible. We arrived at 1am and the keys were in the reception of the hotel next door. We asked to have the remote of the AC and we had it in few hours. For all those who said that the building is not visible, it’s the door next to the hotel Altavilla (you cannot miss it) and the elevator does go to the 6th floor unlike the many reviews that say it stops in the 5th floor. Chiara rooms are the apartment on the left when you go out of the elevator.
I couldn’t recommend more. it’s an excellent value for money. nothing
- Chantelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jelena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stavros (8/5): Very good - Big room, very clean and comfortable, very quiet, nice balcony. They charged us to hold our baggage for the last day (just to keep them in a room corner, nothing special), which we did not like.
- Adam (10/5): Super nice and cheap place in the same center of the Rome. Apartment was clean and well equipped. - - Very good localization (5 min by foot to Roma Termini, 15 min to Colloseum)
- very good price for apartment
- clean, neat apartment
- super friendly and helpful lady at the place
- Νίκη (9/5): Choosing Chiara rooms was a great option! - It was 5 minutes away from Termini Station on foot and it has everything you need close, like mini market, restaurants, bakeries and others. The stuff was really helpful and kind
The only thing we found kinda difficult in the beginning was to find the room.. So, it is inside another hotel (they send me information through booking when I put the time of my arrival), but on the 6th floor.. The elevator goes to 5th floor and then you go from the stairs. Don't forget to ask to the reception, to give you the keys or call the owner to meet you.
The room was very clean.. it has towels, hairdryer, mini fridge, some kitchen stuff and they come every morning to tidy up the room.
Also, we liked a lot that it has it's own balcony and a table with chairs. We enjoyed our morning coffee there!!
Overall, super nice.. I highly recommend it!!! :) :) :)
- Anthoula (9/5): Superb - COMFY AND CLEAN, POLITE PEOPLE, LOVELY TERRACE THE LOCATION OF THE ROOM WAS A LITTLE BIT UNSAFE, NOT VERY CLOSE TO THE CENTER
- Michael (10/5): Pleasant, it provided exactly what my son and I needed as was expected - I called the place and they were in the building. They live within the building Elevator was very tiny, barely enough room for two people, max
- Kellie (7/5): Good - Great little apartment with nice balcony close to all tourist spots and train station. Host was friendly and welcoming. Shared microwave and office space outside of the bedroom, so sometimes some noise during night and bed was a bit uncomfortable. Finding the apartment is a bit confusing as many different accommodations in the one building
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Johanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Evgeny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristín (10/5): Short walking distance from the train station - Location in short walking distance from the train station and restaurants. Nice outside sitting area. 24H check-out Nothing
- Lyudmyla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shannon (5/5): Passable -
- Kristaps (10/5): Exceptional - Absolute worth of money to stay some nights before leaving ir after arriving in Rome.
- Ágatha (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (7/5): Good - great location, clean, balcony was lovely. the air conditioner does not work very well at all, unfortunately it was extremely hot when we were there which meant we had issues sleeping.
