• Σπυριδούλα Καρδαρά (8/5): - Καθαρό και βολικό σπιτι με ωραια δωμάτια. Μας βολεψε που ήταν απέναντι απο το σταθμό μετρό. Θα προτιμούσαμε να είχε περισσότερο χαρτί υγείας και γενικά να υπήρχε πιο πολυ φιλοξενία όπως για παράδειγμα λιγο νερο στο ψυγείο.

• Strataki (1/5): Δεν θα το επέλεγα ξανά - Ηταν πάρα πολύ βρώμικα, μαδούσε το ταβάνι και κάτω είχε σοβάδες , Μύριζε τσιγάρο όλο το διαμέρισμα και τα ντουλάπια μέσα ήταν κ αυτά βρώμικα . Δεν θα το πρότεινα και ειδικά σε ανθρώπους που έχουν μικρά παιδιά .

• Renaldo (7/5): Pleasant overnight stay very close to train station - The location is great because it’s right there by the train station, and where the busses drop you off after a trip to Meteora. We were able to easily walk from the bus stop to the apartment with all our luggage. We only stayed one night and left early morning so the stay was pleasant and satisfactory for our needs. The shower situation could be improved on (e.g. the shower head) and the host wasn’t great with communication or assisting with getting a taxi. I had messaged multiple times on the Booking.com app months before and never got a response until a day or two before.

Situato in un quartiere pessimo, sporco, degradato, con case abbandonate simile alle periferie francesi. Ho avuto paura alla sera. Il parcheggiatore del parcheggio dove ho lasciato l’auto era ubriaco fradicio. Appartamento carino ma con poca stoviglia. Va bene solo per 1 notte. Il frigo si spegneva quando eravamo fuori casa perché senza corrente.

He accused us of lying just to get a refund, telling it was a “nice trick”, even though we applied photos of the cockroach. The stay was unpleasant, but the attitude of the host was more shocking.
• ANDRES (4/5): Mala atención y apartamento sucio y mal mantenido - Lo único destacable del apartamento es que la ubicacion es buena para visitar el centro de Atenas. La atención del propietario, tuvimos que escribirle con insistencia para conseguir las instrucciones de acceso al apartamento porque llegó el día de la entrada y no teníamos noticias suyas. A la llegada encontramos el apartamento bastante sucio, tuvimos que fregar todo el menaje porque las tazas y cubiertos tenían restos de comida. Tampoco nos habían dejado papel higiénico ni toallas, se lo reclamamos varias veces pero finalmente optamos por comprar nosotros mismos el papel. Con la única toalla que había en el apartamento tuvimos que apañarnos para ducharnos tres personas, finalmente la noche anterior a nuestra marcha nos dejaron una bolsa en la puerta con las toallas, sin haber dado respuesta alguna a nuestras peticiones durante dos días. A parte de esto, el olor en el baño es muy desagradable y la tapa del váter estaba rota. En los armarios apenas tres perchas viejas... vamos que no cuidan nada el mantenimiento ni ofrecen buena atención al cliente. Por el precio que cobran no lo recomiendo en absoluto.

Staff was not there to meet us, which can be fine, but open the key locker was not easy due to a lack of communication. Then we did not know the floor so we had to find the door using a pic they sent to us. The lift was broken and we had to carry our luggage up to the 3 floor.

• Keith (8/5): Very good for the one night we stayed, but wouldn't want to stay for longer because of kitchen - The bedrooms and bathroom were brilliant - so comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect - so close to cafes and restaurants, a giant supermarket and two minutes from the metro station which is just 4 stops from the centre of Athens. The only drawback was the Kitchen. There was no oven and just two rings on a very small hotplate. Also the freezer was not cool enough to freeze my ice packs for my medication.

• Leo (6/5): Pleasant - Neighbourhood, although seedy, very convenient for transport, both intra- and inter-city (Athens main station just a couple hundred metres away). There is a large supermarket nearby. It was straightforward to cook some pasta and there was gel to clean the dishes with. Apartment clean, well-furnished and well-maintained. Excellent value for money - we weren't expecting a five-star experience and that's okay, we wanted to see Athens cheaply. Unimaginably sus building, lobby frequently smelled of cigarette smoke, common areas threadbare and poorly lit, but the apartment itself was great once you got in. Shower runs off boiler system so hot water limited. The only toiletry available on arrival was a men's 3-in-1 gel, hand soap, and toilet paper - no shampoo or conditioner. The bedsheet in the minor room was too small, barely covering the surface of the bed, and slid off in the night.
• Krátký (5/5): Passable - Newly reconstructed (but for the show and sometimes not practicly). Wi-fi, internet OK. Heating during cold night OK, but more information about where is it. Some adittional requests and demands after the arrival (no visitors, be quiet even though the neighbours were not). The comunication OK but you need to inform about everything by yourself (othervise you won't have Wi-fi, heating). Cleaning service is only at the beginning (which is great with Greece and their toilets). Water was at least warm, but you need to wait for the pressure and warmer water to set up.
• Amanda (7/5): Average stay in a rough area. - -lock box entry -there are many unadvertised rules such as “3) You are not allowed to walk with shoes in the apartment from 10:00pm to 8:00am.” -area was rough at night. Be sure to walk in groups and monitor your surroundings. -communication from host- I messaged multiple times the host weeks prior to the stay without a response until day before the stay -electric was out in the common area. Was unable to take elevator and no lights for the stairs.

• Robyn (5/5): comfortable unit but reluctant to go outside alone. - Breakfast was not included. Waited on street with luggage for quite some time while trying to get some attention from cleaner and another woman who was putting keys into boxes. Both completely ignored all questions on how to obtain keys, whether they didn't understand english who knows, I finally showed booking on Booking website and she was able to read english OK so they rang someone and finally received keys. The area, though close to station and a large supermarket a few minutes walk, the area was not pleasant, with many worrying sights and people.

• Arianna (7/5): Good - We stayed only two days but the apartment has everything you need and it is clean. It is near the subway. The owner gave us details about the keys via whatsapp. It was easy to find them. The neighborhood is unattractive and even unsafe if you are alone. The first night we couldn't sleep because of the loud music until late from other tenants of the building.

• Annelise (1/5): Avoid if you can - The room itself was clean. The apartment block is incredibly run down though. Unfortunately there was a fire on the outside of the building which moved to the facade of the apartment. We were woken at 6am to people screaming in terror and then realised there was excessive smoke filling the room. Obviously this is an accident, however - despite not being able to breath properly from the amount of smoke, not a SINGLE alarm went off. I was very disappointed with the hosts response when I flagged the lack of working smoke alarms. He completely deflected and told me I was wrong and that there were smoke alarms. The air was thick with black putrid air so there definitely was not any alarm that would save you if this happens in the middle of the night. He also told me that this happens all the time in Athens... so why no working smoke alarms ? Just crazy ! I wouldn't of written this review if he would of just said he will investigate the smoke alarms not working/ make sure they are fixed. I would avoid this property if you can, as it is evident they do not take safety seriously. I stayed at another apartment for the other part of my stay in athens for the same price but a better location and much more modern building.
• Dietz (8/5): Very good - I arrived hours before check-in after a long flight and the hotel let me check in very early. I appreciate that. They also helped to explain where restaurants and shops were. They also helped us to plan day trips and helped us get a car to tour around. There are lots of markets and restaurants in the area. It was my first time using a lock box so I was happy when the staff met me and let me in. We are staying there again in a few days after our trip to Mykonos. It was good value.

• Adriantc (9/5): A cozy accommodation perfect for its value and location. - Athens City Themis 2 is a very cozy place for a family or a couple of friends having 2 bedrooms and a small living room. Visited Athens for the Marathon and the apartment's location is absolutely perfect for a runner or any tourist. It is very easy to get to the center of Athens either by metro or by walking (specially for a runner looking to get to Syntagma Square early in the morning). The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and check-in was a breeze since the instructions were clear and with photos. Also the apartment was spotless and the Wifi worked perfect. While the area is very quiet, it also lacks shops and restaurants. Keep that in mind when coming back from your travels. Not really a minus, but keep in mind that it got a little chilly at night (although by day it was hot for the period) so we had to use the AC a little bit.
