• Barros (9/5): Num retorno à Roma, voltaria a me hospedar na Romulus Rooms. - O local é muito bom, relativamente perto da parte central. O atendimento foi foi todo virtual, mas muito claro e objetivo. O quarto é muito bom. Recomendo. O Wi-Fi não estava funcionando devido a reparos na rede da fornecedora da internet.

Supermercados y lugares para comer al rededor Quiero hacer una especial atención a la reseña del baño, tiene una ducha tan pequeña que solo sirve para un niño . FAVOR considerar el cambio de la ducha.

Valerio was very kind and helpful throughout. Unfortunately, there was no WiFi connection during my stay due to technical issues in the area. Although this was clearly beyond the host’s control, it still affected my overall experience. The place is also quite small and feels a bit outdated.

• Tagliamonte (8/5): Excellent spot for a modest budget and someone who wants to walk all over Rome. - Very close to walk wherever you wanted, Trevi Fountain, Coliseum etc. Excellent coffee shop with super food on the corner. Great restaurant across the street. Ideally situated! The facilities were modest but clean and comfy beds. The host support was SUPERB! Attentive and very pleasant to interact with. You will not find more responsive hosts! No towel racks. Very small shower. If you are big guy you might want to reconsider. But good water pressure and hot water! We also had a difficult time opening the outside main door. But people helped us.

• Arblenda (1/5): WHAT A NIGHTMARE; PLEASE READ! - The location was far from the city center, but okay. I don’t know where to begin what a nightmare our stay was. The room is small, dark, and very outdated. The bed is small, poor, and hard, but the shower is even smaller. If you work out or are of a larger build yourself, you won’t fit in the tiny shower cabin. I truly wonder how this “hotel” has an 8.2 rating. How? They shouldn’t even call themselves a hotel, because they don’t offer any of the facilities a hotel provides. It’s just a floor in a regular apartment complex. There are no staff or anything, so if you run into problems and need help, you’re completely on your own. The whole presentation they give on Booking does not match reality. They make it look nicer than it is, and it’s overpriced. On top of it not looking good, THERE WASN’T EVEN HOT WATER. We stayed for four nights and were not able to shower normally on any day. It was a choice between not showering or showering with ice-cold water. We reported the problem immediately and were repeatedly told that it had been resolved and that we just needed to let the water run longer for it to get warm. I am currently pregnant and kept standing in the shower freezing, hoping the problem had been solved as they promised, but that was not the case. When we kept complaining, we were given another room, but there was no hot water there either. When we kept reporting that there was no hot water, they shifted the blame to the apartment complex. Sorry, but I booked with Romulus, not with the apartment complex. If there are problems, Romulus should come up with a reasonable solution instead of shifting the blame. When we indicated that we had reported the issue to Booking, we received a message around 6:29 PM saying that Booking could cancel our reservation with Romulus and that we could book another hotel. Seriously, that wasn’t even possible anymore that late in the evening in terms of availability. They did not take us seriously and made our stay in Rome TERRIBLE.

• Nefisat (8/5): - I had a good overall stay here. The check-in and check-out process were both very smooth, with clear instructions that made everything easy to navigate. The location was a strong highlight. There were plenty of cafés, restaurants, and shops nearby, and I was able to walk comfortably, about 20-25mins to major attractions like the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. This made exploring the city very convenient. The hosts were responsive and helpful, even sharing recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, which I appreciated. Housekeeping was also consistent, and the Wi-Fi worked very well throughout my stay. Overall, a practical and well-located option for travellers looking for convenience and affordability. The space itself is more functional than aesthetic, and while it may not have the same charm as some other properties, it offers good value for money, especially for a short stay.

• Marko (9/5): - We had a great time staying here, Valerio is a super host and a very kind person, location is 20-30 minutes walking from every major attraction, except park Vila Borghese which is located 5 minutes of walking, to sum up, excellent place to stay.

• Melody (5/5): On peut trouver mieux au même prix. - Quartier sympa en journée. Proche de nombreux points d'intérêt à pieds. Propreté correcte. Lit correct. Beau bâtiment. Explications claires. Accès facile. Bonne odeur dans l'entrée. Grand miroir dans la chambre. Essuies et draps changés chaque jour par le personnel de nettoyage. La chambre est un peu sombre et très humide. Après une nuit, les draps et nos vêtements étaient moites. Condensation sous la petite fenêtre avec des gouttes qui menacent les prises électriques de la télé. Mobilier vintage voire vétuste. La douche est vraiment petite, les personnes corpulentes pourraient avoir du mal à simplement rentrer dedans. Le pommeau ne tient pas en place et elle fuit lentement sur le sol de la salle de bain qui ne sèche jamais vraiment. La porte de la chambre ne se ferme pas correctement, elle est comme déformée et laisse une fente ouverte sur le couloir ce qui est très dérangeant au niveau du bruit, la lumière, l'intimité, ce que l'on espère d'une chambre. Impossible d'être au calme avec nos voisines fêtardes et bruyantes qui claquaient les portes et rigolaient à pleine gorge dans les couloirs et l'espace commun comme si il leur appartenait à toutes heures du jour et de la nuit. En quatre jours on a jamais vu personne sur le bureau de l'accueil, en dehors de whatsapp et des passages du personnel de nettoyage le personnel est inexistant. On a loué un nanny bag dans un autre hôtel pour garder nos valises avant notre départ car la sécurité dans l'espace commun ne nous convenait donc pas. En conclusion, bon potentiel mais beaucoup de défauts gâchent l'expérience qui n'est pas à la hauteur du prix demandé.

• Emanuela (10/5): - Tutto perfetto, a partire dalla posizione strategica: vicinissima alla metro Castro Pretorio, ci ha permesso di raggiungere facilmente il Circo Massimo per un concerto, oltre a molti altri punti di interesse nelle vicinanze. Anche a piedi è stato semplice spostarsi e raggiungere tutte le principali attrazioni della città. La camera era accogliente e pulita. Ilaria e i suoi collaboratori sono stati tutti meravigliosi. Ci torneremo prestissimo! ❤️

Tuvimos un problema con el agua caliente y el señor que vino a atendernos fue muy amable. No tuvimos agua caliente durante los primeros dos días. El proceso para conseguir que se nos atendiera fue largo (se resolvió al tercer día, cuando lo comunicamos a nuestra llegada a las 16:00). Además, la ducha es extremadamente pequeña.

• Rodrigo (8/5): Great place and location after services work —including the mechanism to open the building’s gate. - Romulus Rooms are good, well kept. There is no staff at the reception. Understandable in today’s world. Staff contacts you when they need you. A big problem is that their so-called “app” to open the gate to the building during after hours does not work. In our case we forewarned that our arrival to Romulus would be around 02:00. We arrived, contacted the phone number (WhatsApp) that we were given and the door never opened. Only after some 30 minutes of wait in the middle of the night, and after the staff —whose face and name we never knew— operating the WhatsApp device called by telephone 02:40 some people in the building to open the gate with a door-buzzer did the gate finally open. Following morning we tried the control we were given, discovered it did not work, and we were told that somebody would contact us. Nobody contacted. That night we went through a similar situation because the control they gave us did not work. Wait was now only some 15 minutes. Following morning the cleaning staff was creative and finally gave us a control that worked —only after discovering that some five additional controls were out of service. Cleaning staff was very attentive and kind, he saved the premises and our stay.

• LAURA (7/5): - La cama era muy cómoda y el tamaño de la habitación era el adecuado. Había secador de pelo y nos dejaron agua, magdalenas y zumo al llegar. Nunca vimos a ningún miembro del personal en la recepción. Al llegar por la noche,la recepción estaba cerrada y aunque nos aseguraron que nos abrirían la puerta de forma remota al escribirles un mensaje, nunca respondieron. Tienes que llamarlos por teléfono. De no ser por otras huéspedes que nos abrieron la puerta no habríamos podido pasar la noche en nuestra habitación.

• Dimitra Maria (1/5): Unprofessional and Disrespectful Behavior from the Manager - Our first day at the hotel was fine, but on the second day, the hot water stopped working in our bathroom. We informed the manager, who told us to use the bathroom in the room across from ours until the issue was fixed. The next morning, a plumber came for about 20 minutes while we were there and then left. When we returned to our room later that afternoon, we found two plumbers inside our room and on our balcony, going in and out, stepping with their shoes, and leaving water and mud everywhere for several hours. I politely messaged the manager asking for compensation for the inconvenience. His response quickly became rude and offensive. He wrote messages such as “You don’t own the building, madam,” and “I should have left you with cold water.” He also accused me of threatening him simply because I mentioned that I would contact Booking.com. This was a clear violation of our privacy and a very unprofessional experience. We paid for comfort and respect, but received the opposite.

• barbara (1/5): - No está cerca del centro, la habitación era muy pequeña (las fotografías de la web no eran representativas, casi ni cabían las maletas) las camas eran francamente incómodas, y nos encontramos con hormigas en la habitación. No contaban con productos de higiene y cuando se los pedimos tampoco los pusieron.

El baño enano, la ducha casi no coge una persona y esta rota y no hay luz. Por la mañana hay hormigas. Y entran a hacer la cama sin avisar. Y de paso huele como a misa o a viejo. No se parece en nada a las fotos que hay cargadas em booking
