Guest Reviews

- Artur (6/5): SUper friendly stuff, good location very good value fo rmoney - The owners (they run the property) are very nice amiable and friendly. Very helpful. If you want a cheap stay for a night or two this is a very good option Not so clean bed sheets. Private bathroom smells
- Paweł (9/5): Super pobyt! - Super cicha lokalizacja bardzo blisko Kaskad. Host bardzo pomocny, zameldował nas o 2 w nocy bez problemów. W pokoju było bardzo czysto i schludnie. W porze wieczornej kiedy większość osób szła się myć, niestety czasem brakowało ciepłej wody

- Sahba (1/5): - They staff was so rude and had bad behavior towards the guest from the beginning
The hostel was so cold and water was cold
I couldn’t even take a shower

- Michael S Walker (7/5): Great value, great location - The owners went out of their way to help me! Great location near Ararat Viewpoint, Mother Armenia Monument and the Cascades. Good grocery store nearby. Excellent value. Bathroom odor

- Julianna Wojtyczka (8/5): - Very friendly and family-like place. The owner is really kind, well-organised and helpful. Hostel is cozy, dorms aren't big, but it was comfortable to me. There is AC in common area. I had nice time there and I met great people.
Hostel is a little bit far from the city center, kinda in hill, but you can take many city buses from city center to the hostel and the bus ride will be around 15 minutes.

People don’t respect quiet hours and are very noisy.

- Matthias (9/5): Very friendly, nice hostel, just a bit far away - The lady was very nice and welcoming which we really appreciated :) The bed was comfortable and they even had a fan for a hot summer night :) The hostel was very nice!! The only thing is the location it is up the hill and a bit far away from the center but if that‘s not a problem it is a really good hostel for you :)
- Silvie (8/5): Very good - Super nice owner, very helpful. The room is large and beds comfy, just take good ear plugs, the walls are thin and the common room is right next to the bedroom, travellers tend to socialize till quite late, and the bathroom ventilators and water pumps are rather loud, so it can be noisy if you want to sleep before midnight.

Highly recommended to everyone!
- Lourdes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yumul (10/5): Exceptional - People are nice and very friendly Nothing everything is fine
- Walery (8/5): I'd recommend this place rather for short stays for those seeking excellent quality-to-price ratio. - Fantastic staff: they are ready to accomodate all reasonable wishes, including untypical. A good place to experience the famous Armenian hospitality.
Well-equipped site: the people working here know what a traveller may need.
Great value for money.
Localization: not very central (one bus stop from the Cascade, but from the top part of it), but still convenient. Drains of the hostel: first my girlfriend saw in the bathroom was... a scorpion (no joke, we have even a photo!) creeping out of a sink. This is rather not a fault of the hosts but Yerevan municipality (the brave staff caught this venomous creature and threw away) and definitely not an everyday situation, but it still can affect you.
Noisy exhaust fans: if somebody who arrives later in the night wants to take shower in the room next to you, you hear really loud sounds.
Glass part of an entry doors: you can't shut down the light from the common zone.
- Kirill (10/5): Exceptional -
- Поповић (8/5): All in all it was a nice experience for the money it costs. - The hostel is located about 10 minutes on foot from the Yerevan cascade, other interesting city landmarks are also not that far. The host is a lovely lady that tries her best to make you comfortable. Her english is limited, but she tries her best, but she has a son that speaks it well. Being a hostel that means that the kitchen is shared with other inhabitents. A lot of the times it was very dirty and dishes were left unwashed. I know that this is not something the host can really control, but once in a while she comes to clean the mess, to which ai give kudos to. I was also not sarisfied with the tours that they offer. The guide is her husband and he only speaks russian and armenian, so with my limited russian it was hard to communicate with him. He took us to Garni, Geghard and Khor Virap and for the most of the trio he was silent and looked uninterested. The price he offered to us was also pretty steep.
- Neilslater (10/5): Comfortable and quiet - It was a great place to stay. Very comfortable and convenient. Staff was excellent.
- Narine (10/5): Exceptional - It was really clean, the staff was very friendly. And it was close to main road.
- Hassan (9/5): Superb - The owner is a very nice and friendly lady. We had a wonderful stay in a super clean private room. Thank you Naira.
- Parastoo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Miao (7/5): Good - the roommate and staff. the lebanon girl who helped a lot with everything. the staff who is in charge actually showed little care instead busy with celebrating new year with family.
location is a bit far from city center.
noisy. people talk in the kitchen. couldnt fall asleep at midnight.
- Pezhman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rizitaza (10/5): "Very caring, helpful-room very clean Great location, wonderful " Thank you for your welcome -
- Kristy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Xueqing (8/5): Very good - the staff I met was one of the best ever,
- André (9/5): nice and low price - nice place, very tidy, everything available in the kitchen very thin doors
- Anna (1/5): Avoid staying in family room - Nothing The family room didn't match the description. The common room/kitchen that was supposed to be at our disposal along with own bedroom and bathroom turned out to be shared with other hostel guests. The kitchen facilities were not clean. Fridge always full of other people's food since it looked like most of them live their permanently. Our bathroom was dirty, the garbage was left from previous stay and the floor covered in hair. There's no sound isolation and since the family room is adjacent to the shared bathroom and to the shared kitchen, one hear every sound both from the shared kitchen and from the shared bathroom. There was no TV. No receptionist present at any point. Very uncomfortable beds. We checked out two nights earlier, they didn't seem to be bothered about our complaints and refused to refund the money.
- Jürgen (5/5): Passable - Comfortable mattress and pillow. The washing machine is available. Close to grocery shops and cafes. Side street, therefore, no street noise and exhaust fumes. The whole area is nice. Short walk to the city centre if you find out the way there. Noise inside the hostel. The water pump can drive one's mad. It runs very noisy as soon as someone runs water. Some guests cook in the middle of the night. The dormitories bathroom and toilet are right next to the suite door, and the door itself is thin and with glass. You hear the noise, and it's getting bright in the room because someone turns light in the common room.
- Jürgen (5/5): Silence outside the hostel - noise inside. - Mattress and pillow are comfortable. A washing machine is available. Close to a bus stop and grocery. Outside is quite calm. It is located on a side road therefore no street noise and exhaust fumes. Noise inside the house. If you want to sleep nights don't stay here.
First, all the time, there is a water pump that works extremely loudly if someone turns a faucet or uses the toilet.
Second, all rooms are built around the kitchen and common room. One person is enough to keep everyone in the hostel awake. Because there are people who cook at 01.00 o'clock night or don't know that humanity has already invented headphones and watches videos on their phone without them in common room.
Third, cleaner comes when she wants. At the middle of the night as well. In this night, it was at around 02.00 o'clock. Cleaning continued round about an hour, and you've got it. It was noisy. As we confronted the host the next day, "Why is cleaning done at night?" We got a follow-up response."She comes when she has time."
- Han (7/5): Clean - Cleanness
- Zaheri (2/5): Awful - It was clean and has everything in the kitchen and room’s facilities The staff was awful. While at the first day we told that we want to stay more than a day and she said ok no problem, at the cheak out time had came and said check out because another one reserve it and I didn’t know and my manager say me right now
- Far (9/5): Superb -
- Mai (8/5): Cheaper option - Common space was cleaned and good size
Air conditioning was on all the day comfortably. The shower curtains rail was broken. There are 2, but both of them.
It seems like many people stay there for the long term, like living there.
So many private goods were in the bathroom.
A bit far away and have to walk up steaphills from the center.
- Natsuki (9/5): Great place to stay - Free laundry!! Good staff No curtain and locker
Little bit far from the center
- Vladislav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zahra (8/5): Very good -
- Nikunj (9/5): Happy to stay there. - Happy to stay. Will Visit again. Upper bed is not comfortable
- Sanam1981 (8/5): Very good - It was clean and comfortable place. Bed was good, toilet was clean. It's far from city center and far from the street.
- Ivan (8/5): Hostel atmosphere with certain privacy - Quiet location within the easy reach of shops and Victory park. Friendly atmosphere and helpful owner. Fast internet. The room has a table and separate convenient shower. There is no sound isolation in the private room, and the inside door has a semi-transparent insert. Very noisy communal water pump. The room is not very warm (winter travel)
- Bobrowska (8/5): Nice hostel with a nice owner - Well-equipped kitchen, nicely organised common space and rooms.
- Arun (9/5): Superb - Good staff
- Khakudo (7/5): Good - The location is close to the bus stop, a quiet neighborhood. The reception was ready to help, you can cook in the kitchen. The room had windows, but that's why it was quite cold in the room even if there is a heater. They gave us an electric heater but it was very noisy, so you need to choose to sleep in the cold in silence or in the warm with a noise heater. The location is close to the bus stop, but you should go up to the place, then go upstairs - so if you have many items of luggage it would be difficult. In the kitchen, you would not find everything you need in order to cook. As well, you should remove your shoes in order to enter the hostel, but they didn't provide us with any one-time slippers. The bathroom kind of had a bad smell (stinking)...
- Damilya (10/5): Exceptional - I booked the stay in this hostel for my mother as her flight has had a delay. We were very nervous as it was very late at night but the staff was extremely kind and available.
Thank you once again!
I would absolutely reccommend this place for staying in Erevan, great value for money paid.
- Andrei (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zakariyaa (10/5): Exceptional - Nice staff and very clean place
- Kerri (1/5): If you live under a rock in your country you should feel at home there - I liked meeting new people even though the clean ones never stay long Nasty dirty smelly poor management beggars love in female dorm and beg you as soon as you arrive. Never hot water. Kitchen nasty usually bathroom nasty and everything falling apart. Not toilet seat for 2 days in one bathroom 10 days of nasty annoying hell.
- Fatemeh (6/5): Pleasant -
- Сергей (9/5): Superb -
- Maryam (8/5): Very good - Friendly and comfortable environment!
Clean and cossy! Afew far from city center , but its ok if you love walking...
- Irina (5/5): Good for this money. - Great hosts! Thank you so much. Not clean, but there were a lot of people there. I am a lil bit disappointed that there were only 6 girls in one room and a lot of men in all other rooms.
- Leszek (7/5): Short stay for one night - An intimate hotel with friendly staff and a very good price-per-night ratio. Unfortunately, the location is not the best, but if it does not bother someone, they will be happy.
- Olga (6/5): Pleasant -
- Liang (8/5): Very good -
- Thao (7/5): Ok - The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Free for washing machine and kitchen is enough big to cook The room is tiny and the bed is too old , weak and even donot have stair to clime top bed. Many people live there for long time and they are super noisy.
- Grzegorz (9/5): Superb - Nice, friendly staff, clean comfortable place
- Eugene (9/5): Superb -
- Aleksandr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iila (3/5): Rude dwellers + dangerous gas release - No air conditioner. It's too hot to sleep. Cool outside, warm inside. Even with window wide open, no use.
The long-term Iranian dweller occupied all hobs for three hours. He doesn't share even 10 minutes with others. He threw my frying pan away twice heavily! His behaviour is shocking and not acceptable in hostels.
I don't recommend this place anymore. Especially with a price rise and worse facilities.
However, the bathroom is cleaner without pipe smell this time. Laundry is still free.
At 4am someone talks loudly outside the window on a long long phone call. It woke me up, so I found someone else left gas on without fire all night. The whole lounge is full of dangerous smell. We could all die in sleep!! What a dangerous place to sleep!
The bed cover is a very thin piece of sheet. If you want some coolness, fresh air, or not being killed by gas, it's too cold to sleep after 4am. I used all my clothes and towel. I don't think it's healthy and sensible to provide this minimum for sleep. In a slum, yes maybe.
I don't feel safe with all these dodgy guys around. It feels back in Egypt.
A lot of mugs are broken after the high season.
The female dormitory room 1 is the only one that faces the sun morning and evening, kindly for your reference. Room 2 and 3 are full of dodgy guys. Room 4 is sometimes ok for couples.
Toilet paper ran out in both bathrooms. Obviously the host doesn't manage the place as much as in June.
- Lidia (10/5): A good place to stay - The owner and other guests are very nice, everything was totally fine, thank you!
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - The hostel is very comfortable and clean. The bed is super comfy as well and the mattress feels like you're sleeping on clouds: I had a really good rest. I booked for one night and then extended for more nights cause I liked it so much and even came back a second time when I was in Yerevan again. There's airconditioning in the common room and the dorm room has a powerful fan which makes the room cool enough to cleep. You can do laundry for free and the kitchen is fully equipped. There are supermarkets and fruit/veg markets within a 5 minute walk and a very large supermarket within a 20 minute walk. The bus stop to go to the centre or to the north bus station is within a few minutes walk as well. I recommend this hostel! The fan broke down the last night and then the room got too hot to sleep comfortably, but this was just one night.
