Guest Reviews
- Chris (7/5): It's fine for a short stay. - I was there for nearly 2 weeks. The apartment was clean and comfy. The location was fantastic though. There was food all around and there were two subway stations, each about an 8-10 minute walk from the apartment. There was a clothes washing machine and free detergent, which was welcome. Just know in advance that there's no drying machine, so you'll have to hang your clothes to dry. It's fine as long as you plan ahead. There are a few key things that I didn't really care for.
The main issue is the bathroom is the tiniest thing you'll ever see. It's so small that the sink and tub use the same faucet. There are two sets of shower curtains, one one on each side of the tub, which you easily get wrapped in. It's nearly impossible to move in the tub, let alone shower if you're not a tiny person.
The second issue is the walls are paper thin. You could hear literally every footstep outside. Every conversation from neighbors, every single rain drop to hit the ground. Be sure to bring some headphones with you.
The last issue is a small combination of things. When I got there, the dishes were dirty. There was no real space to set stuff while cooking, and the smoke detector was extremely sensitive. Make sure the vent is turned on and active above the burner before you start cooking or it will set it off.
