Would definitely stay again I was confused as to whether tea / coffee were available without also having to pay £3 for milk and the toilet roll was subpar compared to how lovely and soft everything else was and the tv shows were limited before logging in to anything like Netflix - however if they are my only complaints then I am being reaaallly picky.

Some nice touches like adapters for travellers, umbrellas, and quite possibly the best minibar I've ever seen. For a premium stay, I would expect some things to be included. All extras, minibar etc came with a cost. A small criticism, as the hotel is fantastic overall.

I’ve stayed here many times -love the location and the rooms are generally well appointed and extremely comfortable The heating in my room didn’t work. The room was cold and wouldn’t warm up, and there was a loud humming noise from the heating system. After trying everything to get it working, I eventually had to turn it off completely and went to reception to report the issue. I was provided with a portable heater and the staff member said something about the system being faulty. Really quite disappointing for a premium hotel.

• Fernando (5/5): It’s a matter of expectations - Staying at a Soho House hotel naturally sets your expectations higher than usual. With rates around €600 a night, you anticipate a level of service, comfort, and attention to detail that stands out from the average hotel experience. It’s not about expecting perfection or a seven-star standard, but you do expect something noticeably above the norm—especially when it comes to how problems are handled. During our stay, these expectations were put to the test. A technical fault meant we had to shower in cold water, which was far from ideal. While issues like this can happen anywhere, what really matters is how the hotel responds. Unfortunately, this is where our experience fell short. The front desk did not manage the situation well. There was no real apology, no follow-up, and the next day, staff seemed unaware of what had happened and simply asked if the problem was resolved. At this level, a sincere apology and some genuine concern are the minimum you expect. We weren’t looking for compensation, just basic courtesy and respect. To be fair, we did meet some staff members who genuinely cared about our comfort and went out of their way to help, which we truly appreciated. Their kindness made a positive difference, but sadly, it wasn’t enough to outweigh the disappointment caused by the poor handling of the main issue. But when others on the team simply passed the problem on or couldn’t bring themselves to apologise on behalf of the hotel, our overall impression suffered greatly. It’s striking how just one person’s attitude can have such a profound impact on your experience. In our case, it was enough to leave us disappointed, determined not to return, and compelled to share our story. It’s a real shame, because the hotel itself is lovely, and our room was exactly as expected, with details that even exceeded our hopes. But all of that was overshadowed by one instance of poor service that tipped the balance and left us with a lasting sense of disappointment.

The bathroom was spacious and I loved the variety of skin and body care products (several different body washes, shampoos/conditioners, eye cream, face cream, cream cleanser, lip balm, etc) Every thing single you think you made need for your trip -- they provide for you with excellent packaging. It was the perfect place and location for my to end my European Holiday travels. I would LOVE to comeback! The hotel and the room were perfect however the restaurant had run out of a lot of dishes/ingredients making order breakfest a little challenging. Also on another platform it shows a pool when you search Redchurch Townhouse but that's on another property that is member only.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Shoreditch. Some noises coming from the AC. Very dry air. Breakfast is optional (I would recommend to take it at the Boundary Hotel next to it).

From the moment we arrived, we felt pampered and well taken care of. Mark, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, especially by addressing my specific request for a room with natural light, which I appreciated so much. To top it off, he even left cold drinks waiting for me upon arrival—a thoughtful gesture that made me feel truly welcomed. The level of attention to detail and care shown throughout our stay was exceptional. The staff were really wonderful, special kudos to Kaia and Roberta, always so kind and happy to help.

• mrstraveller1 (10/5): Stylish Rooms and Marvellous Marvin - I had a great stay. What I love about the Soho House group is that you can invariably guarantee a fantastically comfortable bed, fab array of Cowshed bathroom products, and multitude of handy provisions such as hair straighteners, toothbrush, razor etc. My Tiny room was, as anticipated, pretty compact, but still, a lovely, light, cheery space to spend time in, and very peaceful. The location is great for exploring Shoreditch, the tube only about 3 minutes walk, and the area offers multiple, trendy dining and shopping opportunities. There’s also a Pyscle spinning studio right next door if you fancy a spot of exercise. The hotel doesn’t have a bar or lounge/workspace like many others in the group, apart from a teeny area around the reception desk, but there is a Cecconi’s restaurant on-site, serving breakfast through to dinner. We used it for breakfast and food and service was good. Check-in/out was efficient and super friendly from the very marvellous, very charismatic, Marvin. Soho House/Friend members can use the facilities of Shoreditch House,
