• Bing (8/5): - It’s located right at the trailhead of fitz Roy, which is convenient as after 22km of hiking, one would want to go back to the room as as soon possible. The room is quite small for 3 people but we managed. The staff is really friendly with our planning. They responded to my inquiries prior to my arrival and helped me planning my hiking. Room is a bit small, bathroom is really tight.

• Aya (9/5): Very good! - Very good property. The hotel is very cute, beds are comfortable, they cleaned the room very fast and it was very well heated. The staff is super nice and helpful, they gave us recommendations and tips for some of the trails. Location is great - it is a few steps away from the beginning of all trails and there are some restaurants very close. Overall the town is small so everything can be done by foot.

• Linda (9/5): Great location, Great staff, Great breakfast. - The desk staff was super friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions for our trip. The breakfast was very good. The lodge was so close to the hiking trails that we were able to walk there as well as to many of the restaurants in town. My only suggestion would to to have some comfortable seating in the common areas. Our room had a chair and the bed. After hiking all day, it would be nice to have a comfortable place to relax and read, chat or have a glass of wine.

Also in walking distance of everything in - Confortable, friendly staff, 1 block from 3 major trailheads, breakfast was average, they did provide GF bread which is a big help. Shower curtain fell down twice.

Lamentablemente el soporte de la ducha estaba suelto por falta de mantenimiento y bañarse sosteniendo la ducha no es cómodo, de igual forma el agua caliente varía y de repente te sale más caliente de la cuenta haciendo que la ducha no sea placentera. 🤷🏼‍♂️

• Rachel (8/5): Great Hotel In El Chalten - The staff was very helpful- check in and check out were quick and painless. The location of the hotel next to one of the main trailheads was a big plus. That also meant it was at the end of the strip of hostels, bars, and restaurants which attributed to its quietness. The room itself was nice with tall ceilings (not something you usually see). The king bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for luggage storage. It was not a cheap room and the breakfast was a little disappointing. I expected a larger spread but in reality, it did suffice.

• Sarah Jill (10/5): - Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! It is also extremely close to the main trails in the area - I don't know that you can stay any closer! The room was a good size and even had brushes for boots after a day on the dusty trail. Walking poles were available for hire.

The best detail was that the staff checked the weather before our arrival and advised the bestvday to take ghe long hike. (Which was a different day that we would pick based on iphoe weather. Best location place : right next to the departure/arrival of the trekkings. Far from the noise of the main street but just close enough so you don't feel isolated. Breakfast options were limited Bed were not very comfortable, but very clean. A bit expensive for a 3 stars, but these are the prices in El Chaltén unfortunately.

Com ovos mexidos, medias lunas deliciosas e até salada de frutas! As funcionárias da recepção são super prestativas e dão várias dicas sobre a região, inclusive previsão do tempo acuradíssima. Único ponto a melhorar seria colocar cortinas blackout mais compridas e largas para vedar bem a entrada de luz.

Breakfast was pretty good :) A touch out of the center but it’s a very small town so still only a 15 min walk. Would be nice if they offered some post hike afternoon coffee/tea service

• Cristina (10/5): A comfortable, well-located lodge with great service - We had a wonderful stay at Pudu Lodge. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the start of the main hiking trails, which made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the showers — a welcome treat after long days of trekking. Breakfast was very good and offered a nice variety to start the day right. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, a great base for anyone visiting El Chaltén — we’d happily return! Nothing to complain about.
