• Danell (6/5): I expected more but it was comfortable for what I paid - The room was beautiful I thought it would be self-catering but it was not - probably a miss from my initial booking. There is a communal kitchen. There was no warm water in the shower, only the bath had. The blinds are not working properly and the ones in the bathroom are bent so I could be seen from the outside because there is nothing to hook a towel on so that I won't be seen using the bathroom.

• Asanda (1/5): I was scammed - I did not spend the night, the place had a bad smell and I saw small spiders on the bed I therefore couldn't spend the night. I spoke to Sbu Ngubane who promised me a refund but on the following changed and said they will not refund me I booked a room and later told its not available but I will be given a room with no TV I accepted it because I really didn't need TV. I was so disappointed that the said room wasn't in a good condition

• Herve (1/5): Horrible experience: I was very disappointed that I paid money but did not enjoy anything promised. - Nothing I did not like the fact that all the amenities advertised did not live up to the pictures and descriptions provided. The place advertised air conditioning, but it was broken. The lights were not working; we stayed in the dark. The TV was not working, There was no sign outside to confirm the location. We had to call the host to confirm that we were at the right place. The first thing he asked was if we had his cash. No receipt was provided. It would seem that this place is operating illegally. I wonder how Booking.com did not verify this establishment. Everything seems abandoned. It is as if a caretaker is making money out of a place he is supposed to watch. I have never felt robbed of money (R600 cash) like this. We had to leave at 20:00 instead of spending the night. Everything was just weird.

• Kgabo (9/5): Superb - The facility doesn’t provide breakfast but the kitchen is pen to use, however tea stuff are provided for free. The receptionist was friendly, showed me around pointing to what I might need during my stay.I was even given gate remote for the duration. Have breakfast included and not have to prepare my own. Kettle for tea in the room would’ve been great instead of walking to the kitchen whenever I needed tea.

They have a panelbeating workshop in the yard. Owner called when I was on site ready to take occupation of my room and cancelled. The rooms are not ready he said. Please take this accommodation from your offerings, this was the worst experience I made with Booking.com Don't book this place, !!!!!

Although there was load shedding issues, he went out of his way to buy me a coffee and muffin. Thank you so much for that. The house is really elegant and the rooms and ensuite are spacious on a fairly large plot. Only stayed one night, but was comfortable. Out of the owner'control, the load shedding/power outage
