• Laureana Lucia (8/5): Una linda y tranquila estadía - Fuimos con mi compañero en abril y la verdad estuvimos muy bien. La dueña del lugar, Marina, nos recibió muy bien, con mucha buena onda (por más que era tarde cuando llegamos a hacer el check in ella super predispuesta a preguntarnos qué íbamos a hacer y ayudarnos con información). En todo momento, cualquier cosa que necesitábamos, Marina estaba dispuesta a ayudarnos. La habitación linda, con una cama grande (eran dos camas de dos plazas juntas pero cómodas, dormimos bien), con colchas súper abrigada y losa radiante que podíamos regular nosotros para tener el ambiente calentito. Ambiente silencioso. Teníamos una heladerita en la habitación donde guardábamos algunas cosas y una mesa y pava eléctrica con dos sillas. El baño también bien, con una buena ducha (un poco difícil regular la temperatura pero cuando lo lograbas te pegabas un buen baño). Hay un espacio comedor para desayunar o cenar que está disponible de 8 a 10 am y que cuenta con una mesa grande, una mesada, cocina eléctrica, elementos de cocina y una cafetera y tostadora. Por la mañana Marina te deja preparado pan para tostadas, mermeladas, dulce de leche, manteca, leche y el café con varios tipos de té para que desayunes. Todo está muy limpio y todas las mañanas va alguien a hacer la cama en la habitación y limpiar. Queda bastante alejado del centro respecto a otros, lo cual en nuestro caso no fue un problema porque salimos a la mañana a hacer trekking y volvíamos a la tardecita a cambiarnos para salir a comer, pero si van a querer andar más por el centro vean el maps para que no sea una sorpresa la ubicación. De todas maneras, Uber en Ushuaia se mueve mucho y es muy barato (desde el centro al hospedaje a nosotros nos rondaba el precio en $4600-$4800 aprox). Caminando hay unos atajos por los cuales en 20 min bajas al centro, y subis en unos 35-40 min. No hay mucho mercado para comprar cosas cerca, más que un kiosco que tiene algunas cositas, así que hay que ir al centro a stokearse. No es algo "que no nos gustó" pero si a tener en cuenta. La descripcion dice que se puede cocinar, y es cierto, pero es bueno saber que no se puede cocinar como para cenar o almorzar; para nosotros que desayunabamos huevo revuelto con palta, estaba bien porque podíamos hacerlo, pero si buscan un lugar donde cocinarse para no comer afuera o comprado, quizá es bueno saber esto porque no van a poder cocinarse mucho.
• Dickson (10/5): Buena relación, precio vs calidad. - Está arriba en la montaña y tiene una vista hermosa de la ciudad y nuestra habitación estaba calientita. La atención al cliente fue la mejor parte de nuestra estadía. Llegamos muy cansados por la noche con mi madre y mi hijo. La encargada de la hostería nos recibió y fue muy amable. Nos ayudó con recomendaciones para comprar comida y actividades en Ushuaia. Esta un poquito alejado del centro. Es recomendable para personas que manejan.

También es muy buena la calefacción, siempre buen calentito todo. Falta de percheros para colgar camperas y armarios pero son solo detalles.

Desde mi ventana podía verse la bahía con su puerto, el canal, el aeropuerto y la ciudad por la noche, era una postal. Nada de ruidos, rodeado de naturaleza. Respecto al servicio en cuanto atención, unos verdaderos anfitriones; respecto al uso del salón comedor, me hicieron sentir en mi casa, desayuno sencillo y abundante, voy a extrañar ese pan tostado!! La limpieza, impecable!! Gracias!!, fue breve pero inolvidable.

Det ville jeg opgradere for der er langt ned til et supermarked og til prisen er det en mangel (og meget lidt at gøre noget ved opholdet, der vil sikre meget bedre ratings). Jeg ville også gøre lidt ved indretningen. Der skal ikke meget til at gå fra kedeligt til 'hotel vibe'.

• Mechthild (10/5): Eine warmherzige Familie, die sich um alles kümmert - Das Haus steht am Ende einer Sackgasse, oberhalb der Stadt. Die Anfahrt ist relativ steil aber kein Problem. Es ist ein sehr aufmerksam gestaltetes Haus mit viel Holz. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer mit Blick über den Hafen! Der Speiseraum hat alles, was man braucht und zusätzlich Holzbalken und drei große Glasfenster voll ins Grüne - Wir bekamen Kaffee gekocht und Frühstück hingestellt, obwohl das nicht in der Buchung stand. Die Familie, die die Unterkunft betreibt, war sehr freundlich und ist zu jeder Zeit ansprechbar. Außerdem half sie uns beim Buchen einer Tour. Sie vermitteln auch Mietautos Alles gut.

Zu Fuß zum Hafen und Stadt Zentrum sind wir Bergab und auf gegangen, eine schöne Wanderung. Marina und ihre Familie sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit gute Ausflug Tipps erhalten.

Ademas tomamos un servicio de ruta 4x4 con Cristian, hizo el recorrido completo de Ushuaia hasta Tolhuin, con paradas en puntos estratégicos y muy buenas fotos. Los recomiendo completamente! -

• Stefen (10/5): Perfect - The ladys from the hostel are amazing and give you great advice on what to do and visit, you can rent a car directly at the hotel, the room is nice, warm and has an amazing view on the whole Ushuaia bay. The laundry service is cheap and quick. Cleaning is done everyday. This is clearly one of the best accommodations in Ushuaia for sure ! I had a wonderful time and recommend 100%

The location is good but it’s quite uphill so depending on the weather conditions it can be quite tricky to use the shortcuts. Staff is brilliant, so helpful and kind. They also have good discount for some of the tours, better than agencies.

• Susanne (10/5): Enchanting and truly awesome! - Everything was excellent - owners, staff, facilities etc. The view from Mirador is wonderful, overlooking the port and Beagle Channel from a height. A little walk to town and harbour but Christian, the owner, despite suffering pain from a recent injury, drove us into town and to the airport. A major highlight of our trip to Argentina, besides the sights of the Iguazú Falls, Cafayate and Humahuaca and Seven Colours, was the excursion we took with Christian and two other Argentinian guests, to the Lakes and Mountains of the amazing landscape between Ushuaia and Tolhuin. Christian was the perfect guide, speaking as if to close friends, and he unlocked the beauty of the area and its stories with us in an entrancing manner, including hunting for the river haunts of our beaver friends and succeeding with immense patience and tenacity of purpose in seeing many of these remarkable creatures go about their activities of swimming and building dams. Searching them out in various locations was also full of fun. Overall Christian spent twelve hours with us on this awesome adventure. Muchas gracias Christian. His lovely wife, Marina, the beautifully talented Camilla and her little daughter and his son Matthias were all most welcoming and helpful too.

Warm lodging in a cold town. option to buy snacks from the fridge. Great view from outside. The only drawback was the distance from the center. But, it wasn't really that far.

• Anonymous (10/5): Lovely warm, clean, property - would stay again! - This felt like a lovely hotel or B&B vs a hostel! The staff were so helpful and really kind. The guy drove us down to town as we mentioned we wanted a bite to eat. The place was soo warm which was nice after a full day out in the cold! The shower was so hot as well. Our room got cleaned everyday which was another added bonus when coming back and there was also breakfast provided. The location is a little far up the hill but as we like to walk it was only 30 mins or a 5 minute taxi Nothing it was lovely!
