Guest Reviews
- Gary (9/5): Just as described, very helpful host, great communication - Great, helpful host
- Catherine (10/5): Excellent central stay in Dublin - The suite was spacious clean warm had coffee and tea making facilities plenty of towels and toiletries available . It was so central to everything and easy walk into the town . Gerry who met us was very helpful and gave us tips of where to go . The pubs both underneath and opposite were excellent and also an excellent bakery bread 41 almost next door and new cafe Mimosa opened up the road which had excellent coffee and pastries also . Gerry was very kind we checked in early and able to leave our bags and have use of suite on our check out day so we had a lazy start to our last day as didn’t need to rush to get out so we were really grateful for his extra hospitality. Definitely recommend would stay there on next visit . Nothing

- Cédric (7/5): Good comfortable stay, great service, price too high vs quality - Basic & comfortable to sleep. Not far from many great locations. Great service. Compared to other places we stayed at. The price was too high for the quality of the appt.
- Anonymous (10/5): We absolutely loved this family suite for our family of 5 visiting Dublin and wanting a great central location for a hom - It was the perfect size, fabulous location, and very comfortable! It’s a lot of stairs but we were ok with that!
- Nicole (9/5): Lovely stay, would stay again. - Gerry the property manager was kind and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect, close enough to walk but far enough away from the loud/busy/tourist spots. Property was represented well in photos, you know what you're getting. Also the pub below was excellent. Would stay again. It did not bother us and it was not too loud, but some might not like that you can hear the metro next to the building and sometimes hear sounds from the pub below.
- John (9/5): Location Location Location - Location location location. Good size three rooms with comfortable beds. Gerry was very good as well. Told me to just leave the rubbish and he would get it There is no kitchen which is a bit awkward but he does supply a small fridge and coffee machine, coffee, milk, glasses, cups spoons etc.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (9/5): Superb -
- Sabina (10/5): Great location. Friendly host. Spacious rooms - Located above a very good pub Maybe a microwave

- Kasia (5/5): Would be great if it was clean - This property has a great location and it would be great value if it was clean. There are 3 separate bedrooms with a total of 4 beds. There is ample storage space in the bedrooms and Gerry accommodated our earlier arrival at noon. The property is above a pub and close to a busy street and right by the train tracks. We did not experience much noise from the pub at night however the train would rattle the building at night. There is also an unpleasant smell when walking up the stairs and you need to carry your suitcases up those stairs. There is an excellent bakery/breakfast place right next door called Bread 41 - the pastries are excellent but there is usually a line in the morning so just account for that. The place looked like it has not been cleaned for months. I went to the nearby Tesco and got paper towels and a cleaning spray. The paper towel was black after wiping off the nightstands, window sills, the dresser and tops of bed frames. The carpet was very stained and looked like it has not been vacuumed. There was no place for toiletries or to hang the towels in the bathroom. The bed sheets were clean.

- John (10/5): Exceptional - Gerry was a brilliant host, gave us some brilliant suggestions of what to do and each one of them were great. Apartment was very clean and up to a good standard, can tell Gerry has pride in the place.
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Cindy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Petr (9/5): We felt like at home :-) - Excellent location, close to city center, close to Pearse train-station, bus stops, pubs, restaurants.
Apartment is large, bedrooms 2+2+1. We had all what we needed. Extra towels, hair drier, iron and ironing board.. The owner - Gerry - is very gentle person, very friendly. Free coffees, water and milk as welcome package was nice. We were overall very happy and definitely we can recommend Shaw Suite apartment. We were very happy, but It is good to know:
- there is no real kitchen (small fridge, kettle and coffee machine) - no big issue for us, as around the corner is a nice place to have your breakfast or brunch.
-With 5 people we were always solving where to dry towels :-(
-Apartment is above the Moss Lane Pub, therefore count with some noise you will hear from the pub. But we knew it upfront and it was not that bad.
- the water pressure in shower is low (ok to wash yourself, but not great when you need to wash long thick hair)
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - It is a great value and good location. Over a very nice pub. It is a bit of a climb to the third floor and on busy nights the noise from the pub can be heard, but they did quiet down by 10-11 pm
- Ashleigh (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location, great for families that want separate rooms.
- Brian (9/5): Definitely would stay again! - Great location! The owner left water, milk and tea which was awesome. Great place for our family. Bar below was great and so were the people. Ireland certainly makes you feel welcome! A little noisy at night due to street noise. It didn’t bother us much.
- Crystal (9/5): Great experience at Shaw suites, perfect way to start our vacation off. Would definitely recommend and stay again! - Great location, clean, host was very accommodating, and pub below (Moss Lane) had great pasta carbonara! There wasn’t anything to complain about other than no lift available but that can’t be changed, and is only a real issue with suitcases.
- Margi (10/5): Four fabulous days close to everything in Dublin, and easy to get into the Wicklow mountains, as well as the cliffs of H - So convenient to everything in Dublin, as well as the DART station. The donut shop next door is outrageously good, as is the Moss Lane Pub below the suites - very knowledgeable wait staff! N/A
- Julie (8/5): Very good - location, clean, comfy beds, coffee and milk provided, bakery on block, close to city and attractions
- Joanne (9/5): A lovely family break. - The location was very good. The beds were very comfortable. The host Gerry was very accommodating and helpful. The proximity to the DART line meant it was noisy but this is to be expected in a city and trains didn't run through the night.
- Darren (9/5): Great location and base to explore the city - Great location
Lots of space
Clean 2 flights of stairs with suitcases might be a problem for some
- Nikki (8/5): Great stay at Shaw Suites! - Great location close to Temple Bar, train stations and bus stops. The owner was very helpful, let us check in early and leave our stuff all day as we waited for our flight. Very warm in the summer and a bit noisy with the windows open.
- Theresa (10/5): Exceptional - Waking distance to everything Everything was good
- Eric (10/5): Perfect Family Stay for Dublin - Great location, Gerry is a super friendly host. Perfect amount of space and separate rooms for a family of 5. Fridge and coffee machine included, pub just underneath and one of the best pastry/coffee shop steps away. Central location, easy to get to train, everything within 10-20min walking distance within Dublin. No complaints
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francescofren92 (7/5): Good - Position Noising of Train
Moquette
- Withers (8/5): Very good -
- Monopoly (10/5): Exceptional - the Shaw Suite was an excellent place to stay, I’d highly recommend. Gerry was a great host! the place is really well located, ver clean and comfortable!
- Theresa (10/5): Fantastic place!! highly recommend it. - Gerry was very nice and allowed us to check in early. The apartment was lovely and clean and is in a wonderful location. Great vacation in Dublin!
- Sam (8/5): Good location - Good location and lovely host to deal with. Pricey for what you get.
- Kara (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (6/5): a great location and beautiful place to stay! - the three bedroom apartment is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. it is central to everything and the owner is kind. we had difficulty with the shower every day of our stay, with the water supply proving to be erratic. on reflection, on all but one day it worked in the morning but rarely after the pub downstairs opened. that may just be a correlation. the owner kindly dropped everything and came to our rescue but the repeated problem was frustrating as we had two members of our group that liked to work out at the gym in the morning and shower mid day or in the evening.
- Assi (9/5): Superb - great location. very spacious flat extremely suitable fir a family. the owner Gerry was very helpful and friendly
