• Cherelle (10/5): Stay with friends - Staff were amazing! So helpful and friendly! Helped us organise transfers at good prices before we arrived, the hotel had their own taxis and the drivers are all amazing! The staff at reception and bar went above and beyond helping us with recommendations and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is just across from the promenade. Good size triple room. The staff are what makes this hotel so special! Thank you all!

• Nancy (10/5): erholsamer Aufenthalt - Sehr schönes Hotel, große Zimmer, sehr sauber,Betten sehr gemütlich, gute Lage zum Strand, Personal super hilfsbereit und freundlich, jederzeit präsent, hatten 2 Ausflüge nach Tirana und Bovilla mit unseren Taxiguide Grais, er hat uns viel berichtet über Albanien, alles verständlich erklärt, spricht sauberes Englisch. Wir haben uns sehr sicher aufgehoben gefüllt. Unbedingt auch mal das Fußballstadion in Tirana besuchen. Ein großes Dankeschön an das Hotelpersonal und Grais! Vielleicht zusätzlich ein Mülleimer ins Zimmer stellen.🙂
• Ruud (8/5): Zeer goed. Maar gebrek aan nooduitgangen moet worden aangepakt. - Het zouden 10 sterren moeten zijn. Verblijf, service, ontbijt, parkeren, bediening, locatie : alles was erg goed. Maar toch ster aftrek: voor de nooduitgangen staan plantenbakken. Bij navraag werd gezegd dat de deuren op slot zaten, want er was op geen enkele verdieping een brandtrap of nooduitgang gemaakt. Mogelijk wel in de toekomst. Wij hadden zowel tijdelijk stroomuitval als wateroverlast ( van een overlopende kraan naastgelegen kamer ). Nooduitgangen lijken zeer wenselijk. Ontbreken van nooduitgangen.

• Marco (7/5): Soggiorno buono - L'hotel si trova vicinissimo al mare, a pochi possi si trovano ristoranti ed una bellissima passeggiata lungo il mare. E' lontano dal centro ma alla reception abbiamo potuto prenotare un'auto privata che ci ha portato in centro e poi ci ha riportato in hotel. La colazione abbondante e varia, abbiamo provato anche la cena a self-service ma niente di speciale, meglio optare per i ristoranti nei dintorni. La nostra stanza dava direttamente sulla strada e si stentiva il rumore del traffico sottostante nonostante fosse una suite.

Seems this specific building is on line where they got electricity the last in the queue. I wonder why there is no diesel generator for such cases.

Сейф был закрыт, несмотря на наши просьбы. В душевой вода выливается за кабинку. Насчет завтраков - это смотря к чему Вы привыкли.

• Serena (10/5): Fantastic Stay! - Great location with shops, restaurants on your doorstep, beach a few minutes walk across the road. Fantastic staff, helpful and accomidating. Elidon was on hand prior to our holiday, supporting with booking tours and taxis, quick responses, and happy to help. Nothing to add here, pleasant stay with great value for money

• Scott (9/5): Beautiful, great value, brand new hotel, one block from the beach. Easy access to a very nice stretch of Durrës waterfro - This Three-year-old hotel was a complete rebuild of an older one in its place. Wonderful staff, breakfast, coffee, and extremely clean. The only challenge I had was being the first shower of the day and the hot water took over five minutes to climb to my second floor room :-) not a big deal, but I did have to ask.
• Mateja (10/5): - Super hotel na odlični lokaciji. Avtobus za center ustavi skoraj pred hotelom. Plaža pa je samo čez cesto. Velik plus so ležalniki na plaži, ki so vključeni v ceno. Zelo prijazno in ustrežljivo osebje, tako na recepciji, kot tudi v restavraciji. Vse pohvale osebju, ki čisti, saj je bila soba vsak dan zelo lepo pospravljena, brisače menjajo redno. Zajtrk raznolik, veliko slanih in sladkih jedi ter sadja. Kava iz avtomata je bila odlična. Priporočam obisk! /

• Driss (8/5): Aangenaam verblijf, vriendelijk ontvangst met welkomstdrankje. - Alles klopt. Er was een storing van electriciteit en water, maar dat was overmacht en personeel reageerde er relaxed op. Ontbijt was uitstekend.

Szczególne podziękowanie dla sympatycznej dziewczyny z recepcji, która pomogła przy zamianie pokoju. Valentina - bardzo dziękujemy za zaangażowanie i empatię dla naszej sytuacji.

• Richard (10/5): Lovely Hotel in Durres - This is a really lovely, brand new hotel in Durres which has a real feeling of quality about it. It is perfectly situated only a short walk from the beach. The hotel also has its own parking behind the hotel which is essential as a parking space in Duress is almost impossible to find. We were greeted with a really, really nice welcome drink on arrival which we appreciated. Highly recommended. We had to wait quite a long time for our food to arrive in the restaurant in the evening even though they were not very busy. About 15 minutes after we ordered it the waitress came and asked how we would like it cooked!

• Daniel (10/5): Excellent stay at Hotel Lubjana - We stayed at Hotel Lubjana as a couple in April 2025. Location of the hotel is good, in Durrës. We stayed in room 402 which was a generous size room, with balcony. Nice big bathroom with walk in shower, couldn’t fault it. Our room was clean and was cleaned everyday throughout our stay by the amazing cleaning team, the hotel was spotless everyday too. The food at breakfast was included and was brilliant, a great choice of hot, cold and pasties etc, something for everybody including fresh fruit etc. The staff on both breakfast and throughout the hotel were amazing, all well trained, polite, knowledgable and consistent. The manager of the hotel was also incredibly friendly and little things like lending us a travel adapter on our first day went a long way for first impressions. We also benefited from their shuttle service, collection from Tirana airport to the hotel was on time organised by the hotel, cost €30 and the driver was on time waiting for us with our name on the paper. We also benefited from the shuttle service throughout our time and would strongly recommend using it, just €5 return to Duress central area and we also went on our own private excursions to Krujë and Berat, Berat was our favourite and we’d strongly recommend it. Lastly I have to mention how good the food was in the restaurant of Hotel Lubjana, usually when I travel to Europe the last thing I’d do is eat at my hotel because I like to explore, but the reviews of this place where good so we thought we’d try. By a mile the food at Hotel Lubjana restaurant was the tastiest food we had in Albania. I’d strongly recommend it and in truth, if we had tried the food there on day one we probably would have ate there again throughout our stay. The evening staff, restaurant manager and waitresses were all so lovely and friendly and well trained. We would totally recommend Hotel Lubjana. Thank you.

First morning had breakfast cooked to order, next 3 mornings was a breakfast buffet that didn’t have all the options and things ran out - it was still good, and we enjoyed it, but perhaps we’d been spoiled the first night (the hotel wasn’t busy tho - so they were obviously trying to manage supply and demand!)
• Freda (9/5): Lovely hotel, great staff, great location. - We used the hotel for only one night as we were moving to another location further south in the country the following day. Hotel was on a main road in close walking distance to the beach. Front of hotel looked lovely. We arrived late evening after travelling from Tirana airport and were fortunate that the restaurant was open, given the time of year. We had an enjoyable, freshly cooked meal served by friendly, well dressed, attentive staff. Breakfast the next morning was again very tasty and filling. We would be happy to return to the hotel again should we be in the area and have no hesitation in highly recommending it to others. We had no complaints. Everything we needed for our stay was available.

Asked for earlier check-in and was free of charge, which helped me a lot. Breakfast is always delicious.Second time staying here. Recommend this hotel.

We've enjoyed the healthy breakfast and had a lovely view of the sunset every evening. The daily roomservice kept the room clean so that we enjoyed coming back to the hotel every evening. The bathroom was very modern, the shower was great and the mattresses were extremely comfortable. 10/10 recommend!!!! Very great place to stay at!! The pillow was too big.
