• Maria (10/5): Schöne Unterkunft außerhalb des Zentrums - Die Lage ist sehr schön zwischen den Bergen und einem schönen Ausblick von der Terrasse. Im Zimmer selbst ist es sehr kühl. Es gibt aber ausreichend Decken, um nachts warm schlafen zu können. Ebenfalls gibt es warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig und wechselte am dritten Morgen auch. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich. Das Zentrum ist in 30 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Dort gibt es ein paar Restaurants, einen ATM und einen kleinen Supermarkt mit einer sehr kleinen Auswahl.

• Anna (10/5): Tot rust komen bij een lieve lokale familie met uitzicht op bergen. - Dit gasthuis word gerund door een lokale familie, die echt super gastvrij is. Daniella de dochter praat echt geweldig engels en wil je graag helpen met alles. De moeder maakt echt voortreffelijk eten van lokale producten tegen een lage prijs. De kamer is schoon en voorzien van alle faciliteiten. De ligging is fijn op een rustige locatie, uitzicht op de bergen, iets verder gelegen van het opstappunt naar de valbona - teth hike, dus pas op! Ik moest even wennen aan de matrashoezen, het was een soort laken over je matras wat steeds loskwam. Niet een heel groot probleem, maar wilde het toch even gezegd hebben! :)

Tuve un problema con mi documentación y me hicieron un enorme favor haciéndomelo llegar a mi otro destino. Lo recomiendo sin duda! Todo bien

The delicious breakfast was a fantastic start to the day. My only small suggestion would be to remove the mention of a 'hot tub' from the room's description, as it was not available.

• Sabine (10/5): Toller Aufenthalt in familiärer Unterkunft - Tolle Gastgeber, sehr leckeres und günstiges Essen direkt vor Ort. Sehr schöner Garten zum Entspannen, saubere Zimmer. Alles super! Der Beginn der Wanderung nach Theth zu Fuß möglich, dafür muss man aber ca. 5km an der Hauptstraße durchs Tal laufen. Haben wir trotz schwerer Rucksäcke aber problemlos geschafft.

• Manuel (9/5): Un havre de paix avec une famille au petit soin - L'auberge est située dans un endroit magnifique, en bas d'une route ce qui permet de préserver du bruit et d'être facile d'accès. La famille est charmante, nous avons pris nos repas là et c'était une cuisine délicieuse. Les lits sont confortables et les nuits paisibles. De belles randonnées sont proches ainsi que des points de baignade dans le torrent. La vue est superbe. Rien, si je devais trouver un défaut ça serait peut être la salle de bain un peu vieille mais tout était propre et ça n'a rien gâché notre séjour.

The food was also good, though it would be wonderful if the rooms had their own kettle to brew tea The location is stunning, beautiful mountains and not by the road, so it was very quiet One of us caught a severe intestinal infection while being in Valbona. I believe it can be the water that the locals drink from taps. I recommend to buy bottled water or ask the host to boil it

Śniadanie z lokalnych produktów, smaczne i wystarczające. Do szlaku w kierunku Theth jest kawałek, ale z samochodem to żaden problem. Idealne miejsce na jedną noc.

Brakowało chociaż małej szafki w pokoju, żarówka, która wisi z sufitu.

Possibilité de manger sur place avec un excellent rapport qualité prix, la cuisine est excellente. Valbonë est de loin l'endroit que j'ai préféré en Albanie, et l'hébergement également. Merci pour tout, j'ai vraiment adoré mon séjour 😊 Mon seul regret est de ne pas être restée plus longtemps.

• Jörg (10/5): - Freundliche Begrüßung durch die junge Gastgeberin. Sie versucht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Das Zimmer ist zweckmäßig, einen Schrank haben wir jedoch vermisst. Es wird Abendessen angeboten, das Frühstück mit Blick in die Berge direkt am Haus war reichlich und gut. Das Zimmer könnte mit etwas Farbe an den Wänden und ein paar Bildern gleich viel wohnlicher aussehen. Es gibt doch so viele schöne Fotomotive direkt vor der Haustür! Die Oma des Hauses beobachtet die Urlaubsgäste immer etwas argwönisch aus den Augenwinkeln. Sie muss sich sicher noch an die neue Situation gewöhnen, dass Urlauber ein- und ausgehen. Man sollte darauf gefasst sein, dass der Strom ab und an mal ausfällt.

Beautiful location in the valley with a great view of the mountains. We did the hike from Theth, and the place is far from the end of the trail (5-6 km). It’s possible to get a taxi, if you don’t want to walk. It gets cold, so bring warm clothes. The room has a space heater which is nice, but the room never gets completely warm.

Esmorzar també molt bo. Vam demanar picnic per menjar durant la ruta i ens el van preparar sense problemes:) No esta situat al centre del poble, la qual cosa ens va agradar moltissim. • Anca (10/5): A good place to relax - Clean, comfy bed, local and simple but tasty food, helpful host, quiet and beautiful scenery. It's a little bit far from the Valbona village centre, so if you are on foot, you need to do some extra walking. If you book a taxi through them (€15), it'll only take you to the end of Valbone, not to the trailhead Valbone - Theth, ie Rragam. That piece of road (2.5 km) takes you through a riverbed-like trail, very rocky and tiring to do on foot.

• Eleonora (8/5): Una bella accoglienza - È una famiglia carinissima e molto ospitale, il cibo è molto buono e la colazione abbondante. La posizione è vicina all'inizio di molti sentieri e dista mezz'ora a piedi dal villaggio di Valbona. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Farsi la doccia è abbastanza scomodo, il piatto doccia c'è (in altri posti dove siamo stati non c'era nemmeno quello) ma la tenda è così corta che l'acqua esce comunque fuori andando ad allagare il pavimento, che rimane bagnato per tutto il giorno. Inoltre la doccia va tenuta in mano perché il gancio che dovrebbe tenerla non funziona.

The bed was very comfy and it was very quiet and peaceful at night. My own fault for not checking but the property is far away from the trailhead of valbona pass. You can either pay for a taxi, hitchhike or the walk is about 1.5 hours to the start.

To co napisze to informacja dla innych . Były częste przerwy w dostawie prądu. I jeżeli ktoś nie jest zmotoryzowany to musi zamawiać taxi , żeby dostać się do centrum Valbonë.

• Camiel (10/5): - The host family was very kind and made fresh food, diet restrictions were no problem (vegan friendly). Besides included breakfast, they offer lunch and dinner for very good prices and offer drinks too. They also can pack lunch for you, but I am not sure if it is included. The area is very calm and beautiful. Kittens were very cute It is far from the center and start of the center hike, but you can take a taxi to the start with "Emanuel Taxi Service Albania". Their number is on google in the description.

• Alicja (10/5): - Le personnel était très accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. Les petits-déjeuners étaient excellents !
• Damien (9/5): Chaleureux et confortable ! - Formidable accueil, avec sourire et gentillesse. Nous avons été choyés, le repas était excellent (très très copieux !) et l'endroit est très agréable. La jeune fille parle anglais et s'occupe des hôtes avec le professionnalisme d'un maître d'hotel, mais sans nuire à l'ambiance simple et familiale de la maison ! C'est parfait !
• Bernard (9/5): - Nous avons profité pendant plusieurs jours de l'hospitalité de cette famille accueillante et toujours disponible. L'emplacement est idéal pour de nombreuses balades et randonnées, l'atmosphère de la maison et du jardin paisible, les petits déjeuners fait maison délicieux. La chambre et la salle de bain sont rustiques mais fonctionnelles, la literie très confortable.
