The next day after we agreed the - The family were all there to meet us and introduced themselves. They gave us welcome drinks in the lounge coffee and beers They charged us the exact price that booking.com had given us. I liked everything there was a lovely homely vibe to the hotel.

Conveniently located in the city center, it provides free private parking for guests. While the room was comfortable, it was simple and basic, offering a typical experience. Cleanliness - price.

The place has a fantastic atmosphere – definitely take time to sit in the restaurant and look at all the unique decorations. It’s a peaceful location with a beautiful view of the sun rising between the mountains. The room was quiet and clean. Would I stay here again? Absolutely yes :))

• Marion (9/5): - Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. Eieren, warme toast, jam, tomaten, komkommer, feta. En heerlijke koffie. De kamers hebben een balcon, uitkijkend op de vallei en de bergen. Echt fijn. De kamers zijn heel basic, maar schoon. De eigenaars zijn heel erg vriendelijk.
• Vincent (8/5): - Für eine Nacht, war das Hotel perfekt. Sehr schöner Ausblick und die Mama kocht selber. Sehr gute albanische Hausmannskost. Das die Dusche das ganze Badezimmer vollspritzt, ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber wie wir gesehen haben, üblich auf dem Land.

• Patricia (9/5): Sad we only stayed here for one night! - What a beautiful location with the terrace overlooking the valley. Very friendly host family, excellent food and wine for dinner and superb breakfast with homemade fig jam, delicious yoghurt and more. All good.

• Katherine (10/5): Exactly what I needed on my visit to Burrel. - Hospitality, friendliness of the staff. I speak Albanian, but I saw them interact with other guests in English. They allowed me to have breakfast 30 min early for my schedule. And...the view from my room...special. I was surprised at the water on the bathroom floor, then I remembered I was in Albania. Not such a big deal.
• Matt (10/5): Great hospitality goes a long way - The setting of the hotel is beautiful with amazing views over green fields to the mountains. The welcome and hospitality were second to none. A lot of effort was made to make me feel welcome and that goes a long way. A really good meal was offered in the evening as an extra and the breakfast which was just a few euros was very tasty.

Voting according to local standards: 10 In international comparison there are little drawbacks such as no curtain in the shower, this is why I gave 8 for total ranking. The hotel is run by the family. There is no menu for the dinner, instead they offer mains and side dishes and then you can put together your dinner - I really liked it.

The quality of the diner was good but there hardly was choice. The staff gave excellent info to visit the mountains in the wide area of Burrel. The very limited choice in the restaurant was the only minus but the offered food was of good quality.

Dinner was typical albanian food which was cooked by their mother. Breakfast was also good, we could enjoy on the Terrasse from which you Are also having a wonderful view. Die Möbel sind sehr altmodisch.
• Shaun (10/5): Amazing views and very friendly people - All staff were extremely friendly, the food was excellent and the views from the rooms and the main restaurant were amazing. It is just a shame that we hadn't allowed more time in Burrell, because the hotel offered a tour of the local countryside and historical sites which would have been fantastic. When we told people that we were going to Burrell, many people in Tirana were confused, but I am only disappointed that we didn't stay longer.

An Albania highlight! - Amazing hotel with beautiful views to the valley and mountains, with incredibly hospitable and helpful owners who made our stay perfect with a wonderful historic tour of nearby villages and kullas (fortified tower houses) during which we met so many wonderful people who let us inside their historic homes - one of the top highlights of our 3 months in Albania! The rooms were perfect, clean, with great AC, fast wifi, a balcony, a delicious homemade breakfast, large comfy beds, easy and secure parking, and the hotel is conveniently located close to everything in town. Wesley speaks perfect English and can help out with everything, and tell you so much about the area's history. What a phenomenal experience - this is the place to stay in the area - highly recommended!
