La colazione in giardino è stata veramente bellissima 😊 In città è difficile parcheggiare ma Dioniso si occupa direttamente lui del parcheggio Andarmene hahahaha Il bagno era un po' piccolino, per il resto tutto perfetfo 👌

• Eve (8/5): Heel fijn gehad! - Een hele fijne familie die zorgt dat alles in orde is. Leuk verblijf gehad. Super lekker avondeten! Ook het ontbijt is heel verzorgd! De badkamer is echt aan vernieuwing toe. Bril was kapot en badkamer wordt volledig nat als je moet douchen. Dit kan sowieso aangepast worden en dan zal alles prima zijn.

• Will (9/5): A cute haven, perfectly placed to explore Berat! - An unassuming paradise: Villa ELMAR had a traditional, almost Spanish villa type feel with tiled floors, wooden beds and a vibrant hidden garden at the back of the property (which, wait for it...had TORTOISES roaming around!!!). Diones was always available to offer food, drinks or anything else needed to ensure our stay was comfortable, and the location could not be more perfect for exploring the cute, welcoming city of Berat. If you choose to book here, I recommend checking your bedroom is one with a view (now next to reception, as one bedroom is) and be kind to Diones! 😊 By the very nature of the property being traditional/old, it was prone to a few inconveniences compared to a new-build, such as the shower leaking and some of the furnishings being a bit tired.

Il faisait très froid. L'hôtel annonçait un parking gratuit. L'hôte nous a demandé de rester parqué dans les rues de la villes (5 à 10 minutes à pied) La salle de bain était très serrée. Les WC sont dans la douche. Tout est mouillé après s'être lavé... pas très pratique
• Elizaveta (5/5): Hostel not a 4* hotel - Location is amazing, garden is beautiful (with a turtle family!) The owner helped us park our car as it's a non-obvious way up, that was very helpful. We got a little bit of refund for what was wrong (although not enough in comparison with the scale of problem), and the girl apologized profusely. 1. We had two rooms: the upper one had no toilet seat, and the staff knew about that. They fixed it only after we complained. 2. The same room had no separate shower: you wash right next to the toilet bowl. There was a lot of black mould. 3. The drain there was clogged, and all water went directly to the room in 10 seconds 4. Water was cold in the whole hotel and one of us caught cold. There was nobody at the reception at night, so we could ask about the problem only in the morning. 5. The team says thermostat died over the night, but if you run a hotel, you should have a plan B. 6. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

• Nancy (10/5): - Eine absolute Empfehlung. Wir sind 2 Nächte hier gewesen und sind super in Albanien empfangen worden. Zwei sehr liebe und freundliche Gastgeber. Gleich zu Beginn haben sie uns geholfen bei der Parkplatz Suche. Der Garten ist ein Traum, die Terrasse mit dem wunderschönen Blick über die Stadt. Das Albanische Menü am ersten Abend war hervorragend und so lecker. Zimmer sind sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Mehr geht nicht. Mitten in Berat.

The location couldn’t have been better, with easy walking access to all the major sites, shops, and restaurants. On top of that, the dinner we enjoyed at the hotel’s restaurant was delicious. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Ottima colazione. Si può anche cenare con specialità per 15euro nella sala che domina la città. Era buono e non siamo riusciti a finire. Il bagno era un po piccolo.

Die Heizung konnte im Februar das Zimmer nicht schnell genug heizen. Im Badezimmer gav es sowieso keine Heizung. Das Restaurant war nicht aktiv außer für kalte Frühstucke.

The breakfast is rich (for greek standards) prepared by the young girl who owns the hotel hershelf and served in the inner yard.The owners are really friendly and love talking as much as they can-so you can get to know their lives and their problems.It is a must for those who like 19th century feeling but can't travel to middle east-for example the Muezzin cries for prayer at night and early in the morning, there is no noise of tourists making parties and everything can be reached on foot.The car you leave on the street but it is quite safe.
• Michael (1/5): Bin vom Personal beraubt worden - Der Besitzer, Dionis Ndini, hat uns zuerst den falschen Betrag verrechnet. Anstatt den gebuchten Preis von 141,58 Euro hat er 14.158 ALL, also albanische Lek verrechnet. Da ich mir zuerst nicht sicher war ob der Preis stimmt, habe ich mit Karte gezahlt, die Unterkunft aber am nächsten Tag darauf hingewiesen. Er war selbst nicht anwesend, hat aber am Telefon behauptet, dass die Differenz die Gebühr an Booking ist, was natürlich Bullshit ist, denn die Gebühr ist in meinen Gesamtspesen bereits enthalten und kann nicht von ihm im Nachhinein dazugebucht werden. Das Geld wurde mir erstattet, allerdings haben wir für einen Teil des Geldes gebeten, unsere Wäsche zu waschen (Der Service wird offiziell angeboten bei Nachfrage). Das ist auch ohne weiteres akzeptiert worden und auch zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Nach Erhalt der Wäsche hat aber mein Hoodie-Pullover gefehlt. Ich habe das auch gleich angesprochen, er wurde aber nicht gefunden. Wir sind am nächsten Tag abgereist, ich habe aber meine Google Maps Timeline, sowie meine Fotos verwendet um sicher zu gehen, ob der Hoodie wirklich und ohne Zweifel in der Unterkunft verblieben ist. Damit habe ich die Unterkunft via Booking-Chat konfrontiert und nach einigem hin und her wurde er tatsächlich wieder gefunden, dafür habe ich einen Fotobeweis erhalten. Die Unterkunft hat sich auch die Mühe gemacht bei der Post zu erkundigen wie hoch der Preis für den Versand ist: Albanische Post: kA, aber auf eigene Gewähr und DHL: 45€. Auf meine Nachfrage ob sie jetzt wirklich annehmen, dass ich die gesamte Gebühr für den Versand selbst bezahle, habe ich keine Antwort mehr erhalten. Ich hätte mich vermutlich auf die Hälfte einigen können, obwohl ich überhaupt keinen Anteil an dem Verlust trage. Außerdem war das Bad nach 3min. Duschen überschwemmt, wobei das ein generelles Problem in Albanien sein mag.

Parking was challenging, but clear instructions were provided before and upon arrival, and the husband even ran down the hill to help us park in a free spot. Breakfast was very good. The heater in our room was not working and we waited for 1.5 hour at night after check-in for the host to "fix the problem". we kept requesting to be shifted to another room but the hosts did not accept that. Instead we were forced to stay in the same room and the heater stopped working after midnight again. It was 2 C outside and we slept in a very cold room. there were also no glasses in the room so we could drink water, we had to request them seperately.

• Soo Boon (8/5): Location is great. Super love the breakfast! - Location is great! Super love the breakfast. The view from the restaurant is gorgeous! Twin room is comfortable and clean. I had arrived a night earlier and the twin room I'd booked was not available. Stayed in a bigger room and the showerhead in that room is not working well and no door to the shower stall. Glad my twin room the next few days is so much better. Guess it's quiet season so always no one around, make sure you have their number.
• Michael (10/5): Sehr gute Unterkunft und nette Besitzer - Es war alles hervorragend. Sehr sauber, alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Bett, Kopfkissen und WLAN waren sehr gut. Sehr Zentral gelegen. Man fällt quasi in die Innenstadt . Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Parkplatz ist nicht direkt vor der Unterkunft, aber ich konnte 2 Minuten von der Unterkunft, kostenlos, Parken. Es war Nachts sehr ruhig, trotz Moschee in der Nähe. Ich war 2 Nächte in Berat und habe noch lange nicht alles gesehen. Es ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich, spricht Englisch und es war ein herzlicher Empfang. Danke nochmal.

• Christopher (9/5): Empfehlung für Reisen im Herbst - Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war gut und lecker. Die Unterkunft und liebevoll gestaltet und liegt mitten in der Altstadt von Berat. Die Matratzen haben wir als äußerst bequem empfunden und so konnten wir sehr gut schlafen. Das Grundstück ist sehr einladend und man kann entweder draußen oder im überdachten Frühstücksraum sitzen. Die Dusche wurde so gebaut, dass ein großer Teil des Wassers ins Bad floss. Aufgrund zahlreicher Handtücher, war das Problem aber schnell beseitigt.

Creo que las fotos de las habitaciones no se corresponden con la realidad. Me pareció subrealista que te duchases encima del water. Todo junto.😱 Mientras te duchas cae todo el agua encima del inodoro y después está todo el suelo del baño mojado. Y para ir de nuevo al baño pues…una odisea… La verdad, bastante desagradable. Cuando reservé la habitación en las fotos tenía una duda a parte en condiciones y luego no fue así. Nos quedamos porque era tarde cuando llegamos. Los dueños fueron muy amables, eso si.
• SteCol (9/5): - Emplacement central, très bon petit-déjeuner. La ville est magnifique! Un peu difficile pour se garer, nous n'étions pas sur de pouvoir monter dans la rue 😉. Mais le staff de l'hôtel nous a aidé.

• Maikel (7/5): Heerlijke plek voor een overnachting in het historische centrum. - Heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam personeel. Mooie locatie. Lekker gegeten. Uitzicht op de stad vanuit het restaurant was geweldig! Badkamer werd snel nat bij het douchen. Kamer was niet heel ruim voor een gezinskamer. Parkeerplaats was niet geweldig, maar goed te doen door het zeer behulpzame personeel.

• Stefan (8/5): Charmantes Hotel in der Altstadt von Berat mit schönem Garten und herrlicher Aussicht. - Das Hotel liegt im Herzen der Altstadt von Berat und verfügt über einen gepflegten Garten zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück wird in einem hellen, verglasten Raum mit Blick auf den neueren Stadtteil serviert. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen herzlich und angenehm.

• Ilka (8/5): Idealer Lage für einen Kurztrip mit Sideseeing! - Die Lage war großartig, das Design als auch die Ausstattung waren sehr authentisch! Leckeres Frühstück mit einer super Aussicht im Innengarten😍 Die Dusche, egal wie man es anstellt, kann man eine Überflutung nicht vermeiden!

• Lejdi (10/5): Shum faleminderit per mike pritjen. - È una struttura tipica albanese che fa parte del patrimonio unesco, molto accogliente e molto ben organizzata. Lo staff è stato cordiale e di grande aiuto per visitare la città. Colazione ottima.
