- Belal (10/5): I highly recommend it - The breakfast was excellent and the view was amazing. Mahmoud, the hotel owner, was a very friendly person.

- blessing (10/5): - I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.
The location is perfect, making it easy to access nearby attractions and restaurants. I especially enjoyed the care , which actually made me feel at home and the most important part is the mode of payment which was so smooth and stress free.
What truly made my stay exceptional was the attention to detail and the genuine care shown by the staff. I felt valued as a guest throughout my visit.
When I visit Egypt next, I will definitely book here again and again.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and excellent service. I will definitely be coming back again!
- Leona (7/5): - The welcome on the first day was amazing and the view was cute, although less impressive than suggested in the photos. In the morning we were promised breakfast at a time earlier agreed on (we had a deadline of catching a plane). When we woke up no one was there. We then skipped breakfast because of the plane. When I sent the owner a message about this there was no reply..

- Farshed (10/5): Fantastic fabulous and great . Even though the food was not included but there were many time the management will send s - The location , the staff and the management s concern about their guests comfort . There’s nothing I can think of that I didn’t like . It’s a great place with this price
- Gilmartin (10/5): - Very friendly staff and very helpful Right next to the pyramids
- Ahmed (10/5): -
- Sarah (9/5): - Very nice room, clean and cosy.
The staff was amazing. The mom even woke up very early to prepare breakfast for me because I had to leave early for the airport. Delicious Egyptian breakfast!!
- Teodor (10/5): Amazing - The host was amazing , he was the best !! Amazing people , amazing energy , helping 24/7 . -

- Dheeraj (10/5): Exceptional hospitality, delicious home-cooked meals, wonderful fellow travelers, and an unbeatable location near the py - The home was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location is exceptional - extremely close to the Giza Pyramids with an amazing view and easy access. What made my stay truly special was the incredible hospitality from Hanna and her children Farida and Mahmood. They were so warm and welcoming that I felt like part of the family from the moment I arrived. Hanna’s home-cooked food was absolutely delicious. I also met other travelers there and had a great time connecting with them. The whole experience was so wonderful that I extended my one-day stay to four days! Nothing - everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations.

- Ninoska (10/5): 😃 - Mahmoud and Hanan are very kind, helpful, and willing to assist. They have an excellent vibe.
The room was clean and had everything that was offered. The breakfast is generous. The view of the pyramids from the terrace is beautiful. I caught a cold and Hanan prepared soup and other things to help me through the illness.
I had a great time, highly recommended.
I hired Esam for his services to visit the Pyramids and he was fantastic! He also has a terrific eye for taking pictures. .
- Islam (1/5): Bad Experience - Nothing I arrived there and got lost no one knows the hotel at all at this area. I can thd provided number and after many calls he answered. I told him that I am list and can’t locate the hotel. He seemed not care at all and stated he will send someone to pick me up from where I stand. I waited for long& no one showed up therefore I had to cancel and trying to find other hotel in the area. I don’t know if it scam or careless employees or what but definitely they didn’t have any sense of hospitality.
- Daisuke (9/5): Amazing! - When I arrived at Farida Pyramids Boutique Hotel, I was exhausted from the repeated demands for extra charges by the taxi driver who had picked me up at Cairo Airport. Before that, I had also been dealing with troublesome people at the airport who approached me trying to scam me.
However, the people at Farida Pyramids Boutique Hotel treated me simply as a tourist who wanted to learn more about Egypt. Although it was already past 3 p.m., Mr. Mahoud quickly understood my situation and offered me several wonderful options for enjoying the area around the pyramids. I chose the buggy tour and was able to enjoy a beautiful sunset with the three pyramids in the background—my first such experience.
I was also grateful for their laundry service, which allowed me to wash most of my clothes. The process was extremely fast; I handed them my laundry around 3 p.m., and it was already finished by the evening.
I also enjoyed the “kofta” I had at the neighboring hotel they operate together. If I compare it to Japanese food, it is similar to chicken tsukune.
I’m sure I will choose this hotel again when I visit Cairo next time.
- Daisuke (9/5): Amazing! - Because I had such an excellent experience here the day before yesterday, I returned to Farida Pyramids Boutique Hotel after my Bahariya Oasis Tour.
Mr. Mahmoud and his mother welcomed me warmly, and I was able to get plenty of rest.
The next morning, I enjoyed a hearty and well-balanced breakfast, and Mahmoud’s mother kindly offered to prepare her homemade koshari for my lunch. It was very delicious and not oily at all—one of the best choices after a long walk.
Farida Pyramids Boutique Hotel was like an oasis for me. During my stay, I felt completely free from any worries about scams. Although Egypt is still largely a male-centered culture, I believe that women can also stay here comfortably thanks to the presence of Mahmoud’s mother.

Minha estadia foi simplesmente incrível! 🏨✨

My stay at was absolutely amazing! 🏨✨
The location is perfect — just a 5-minute walk from the Pyramids 🏜️. I booked the transfer directly with the hotel, and everything went smoothly 🚗💨
Even though I arrived late at night 🌙, I was welcomed with warm smiles and a lovely cup of tea 🍵.
Mouhamed, Hannan, and Farida made me feel like part of their family 💛 — such genuine and heartwarming hospitality!
The breakfast ☕🍞🥐 was huge and delicious — I had the tastiest falafel in all the Arab world 🥙😋!
The room exceeded my expectations: soft bed 🛏️, hot shower with great pressure 🚿, and excellent air conditioning ❄️.
What truly made my stay unforgettable were the wonderful people ❤️ who turned my vacation into beautiful memories ✨.
I truly recommend this place! 🌷
- Fabina (9/5): The hosts/owners made our trip amazing, they were helpful in solving problems unrelated to the hotel - The meals prepared were very filling and they were able to accommodate all my allergies. They even provided some traditional Egyptian meals and they were very tastey. The water pressure and hot water in the shower was great the very first night. Each night after it seemed to struggle. The property managers were very responsive in addressing it each time, but we would still be limited to short showers for hot water was limited.

- Vania (10/5): Great - I had an excellent stay at Farida Pyramids Ōtel. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The value for money is truly amazing considering the comfort and the incredible room view of the pyramids.
The facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the room service was always on time and efficient. My room was very clean, spacious, and well-prepared, with a comfortable bed (definitely a high bed rating). The WiFi connection was strong and reliable throughout my stay, which made everything more convenient.
The on-site restaurant served delicious food with great variety, and the breakfast was especially enjoyable with a stunning pyramid view. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the main attractions.
Overall, everything was comfortable and spotless in terms of cleanliness. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Giza!
(10/5): Recommended - The view was amazing we can see the pyramids from the trace, the value of the money was good. They give us Welcome drink when we arrive to the hotel for free the food in the restaurant. It was too much delicious the people that they working there was helpful to help us a lot. Nothing
- Ahmed (10/5): - Everything in the hotel was perfect special the staff was too much helpful and I will be back there soon
- Ahmed (10/5): - A beautiful place, a five-minute walk from the hotel to the pyramids. Mr. Mahmoud’s reception was very good and met all my requests. A 10/10 stay.
- Patrik (10/5): I loved this place - Everything Nothing
- Carl (9/5): We were looked after very well here. - The room was very spacious and comfortable. The owners and staff were always available to help with anything you needed and could arrange any transport and guides for you. The guide that they got for us to see the pyramids and other archeology around Cairo was outstanding. Highly recommended (Rasha I think). Breakfast was on the roof terrace which overlook the Giza pyramids. The Egyptian breakfast was vast in variety and quantity. We stayed here in Giza for our whole time in Cairo to avoid the congestion in the city. The location is a quiet local neighbourhood inhabited by the horse and camel people. A good place to see local life Communication was a bit of a challenge sometimes but always worked out OK
- Szczybylo (1/5): Don't book it! Pictures are fake! - I didn't like it at all. Very bad neighborhood, no reception, mess everywhere.
- Maddison (9/5): Kind people and great value for money - The loveliest hotel owners made this such a comfortable experience. I was able to organise transfers easily and the breakfast was made fresh and was delicious. The owners are so kind and generous and the view of the balcony overlooks the pyramids. Amazing value for money Nothing of note
- Manuel (5/5): The best part is the kindness of the mother's host! - I'm still in doubt about the stars to put in, maybe less would be better, since there are positive but also many negative aspects. But we were also at the end of our trip thus probably tired.
+ We arrived at the place late (00.30am) and fortunately they were waiting for us, so we truly appreciated it.
+ Room has double curtains for the window, mini fridge, TV, and hygienic shower as bidet. If you ask, they can provide 1.5l bottles at a fair price.
+ They also prepared breakfast at a fair price. And what a breakfast!! Beans, omelette, baba ganoush, falafel and pita bread, a very huge and fulfilling one, we were full until dinner.
+ The host's mother was such a genuine person, the best part of that days, she cared for us a lot like if we were her sons, offering tea and fruit and being kind all the time, even though she speaks mainly Arabic.
+ Another positive aspect was the location for the pyramids and the view from the terrace, where you can see and enjoy the pyramids' view (only 2 unfortunately). Nevertheless, there have been factors that made our experience less wonderful than expected.
- Communication difficulties, the owner doesn't speak English fluently, so chatting on WhatsApp was difficult. Questions were left with no answers or answers were not in time sometimes (e.g. to pay for the breakfasts, we got the answer while sleeping, so we left money in the room at the checkout). When his mother was in the hotel, we spoke through Google translate or thanks to another guest's translation.
- A few misunderstandings also occurred (we asked about dinner options in and outside the hotel, and while waiting for messages in the chat, his mother arrived with a typical dish that she prepared or delivered. At 18.30. We didn't ask to make it, but it was ready so we ate anyway and of course we paid).
- As in all Egypt, the host offered some services that were overpriced (like dinner for 10$ per person), but the key one was for a transfer to Sphinx Airport, demanding 18$. We said we had only EGP and he changed the price by looking at the black market change and NOT at the official one, doubling the official price. We declined and instead of paying 1100 we paid 240 EGP in total by using Careem. It's not easy in Egypt when you cannot be helped even by your host.
- The room on the ground floor close to the main entrance was ok, even though Wi-Fi was not available for 3 days at all, and pillows or synthetic blankets didn't help for sleeping (I normally sleep everywhere with few issues, thus having difficulties for 3 nights made me think about it). Also I felt a bit unsafe thus my nights weren't the best ones, as our window can be easily opened from outside as well as all the main entrances. Main entrances cannot be closed or locked, only your room door. There was also no one at the reception all the time, the host probably has another job, and his mother was there only a few moments of the day.
- Iris (10/5): Couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay - I had such a wonderful stay at Farida Pyramids. Amina (she is the owner) is the nicest woman I’ve ever met. She has such a genuine heart and is so loving and caring. She did everything she could to make my stay perfect and to keep me safe as a solo female traveler. The view from the hotel is great as well, as the pictures already show. I really enjoyed my time here and hopefully I will return one day, inshallah.
- Manuel (3/5): To close to the pyramids that isnt good - Nothing Location isnt the best, at 4.30pm around 50 camels and horses that works in the pyramids stay in front this place.
For taxis and Uber is very difficult to access this place.
Some photos of the place doesnt correspond with reality.
No internet during my stay.
- Kate (8/5): Very good - Great place to stay in Giza for exploring the pyramids/Giza area. The family who run the hotel are so lovely and very welcoming and helpful. The available egyptian breakfast (costs US$4 pp) is so delicious and is absolutely massive, would highly recommend it. You can also see the pyramids from the terrace and the sunsets were beautiful There are lots of horses and camels around the area that are used for trips to the pyramids that are not in the healthiest of conditions
- 小林(kobayashi (9/5): Superb - Nice view!
Nice staff! sometimes blackout
- Fanny (10/5): Absolutely loved it! - Everything! I am very enthusiastic about this place.
Amina ('Mimi') and Nasser, the historical owners, are absolutely ADORABLE. Amina makes the BEST (& huge) breakfast in town and Nasser is a very nice person to talk to in English (former doctor in Saudi Arabia). They taught me a bit of Arabic.
The room is very comfortable with private bathroom that is well-equipped. All super clean.
But the climax is definitely the view. Direct view on the pyramids with beautiful flower-tree in front of it & the light show at night. My day was already a success after having a delicious breakfast in front of the pyramids.
The place is very cute in itself. Amina and Nasser arranged everything for me (transfer, guide, etc) with their son and nephew.
The area may look a bit dodgy at first but it is actually really traditional and OK. Everyone was very nice. The only 'discomfort' may be the smell sometimes: camels and horses are 'parked' in front of the hotel (for tourists around the pyramids). I don't mind personally, it's more quiet than moto bikes and that creates very funny scenes with people galloping on their horses or colorful camels. Loved it. The fact that I had to leave. I felt at home with my grandparents to overfeed me.
- Louisa (10/5): Stay here if you want to experience Egyptian life! - Owners are lovely people, couldn't do enough for us.
Air con
Huge tasty breakfast $4 (US)
Great view of the Pyramids
- Louisa (10/5): Great place! - The owners of the house are wonderful, kind people who treat you like it's your home. Their breakfasts are huge and filling. It's about 40 minutes away from the airport, but in an interesting part of Cairo, where you can see life at its fullest. Great view of the Pyramids!
- Wolf (8/5): Very good - The view is priceless. The sunset spectacular. You can't get much closer. Very friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast. Large terrace. Clean room. Good value for the money.
The surroundings look like you are in a village. Once you enter the house it's another world though.
- Manju (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eliza (8/5): We had a lovely stay. I would recommend this place for its location in relation to the pyramids and the treatment from t - The owners of the place are simply amazing. The hotel is very close to the pyramids, so was very convenient. There was a lot of noise outside the hotel at night, but this is not the property’s fault at all.
- Ruxandra (9/5): Great budget option for accommodation next to the pyramids - The hosts were very kind and accommodating.
The bedding was clean, the bed confortable, and there was even a space heater that ensured we didn't freeze during the cold winter nights.
The breakfast is generous in size, you will not go hungry!
The inn is on the last street next to the compound with the pyramids - it's a very rural street where you will see a lot of animals (camels, horses), it's a very rustic experience .
The place was reasonably quiet and we could rest at night.
The hosts also arranged a driver for us to take us to visit Saqqara pyramids - Mahmoud was a pleasure to spend time with and we had a lovely trip and experience with him.
- Nora (8/5): Authentic stay close to pyramids - very nice hosts, great breakfast (incl foul and the best falafel ever). lovation is perfect for visiting the pyramids. hosts organized 2 day tours for us, which were fantastic and price was good.
surrounding is very authentic - a pleasure for world traveller like us. you can walk to the south entrace of the pyramids area in around 10 minutes.
we were here in wintertime, so bring warm clothes, breakfast is on the terrace. you can heat the room with the ac.
this is a authentic place which is reflected by the low price.
small shops for snacks and water are nearby. if you have a problem with animal cruelty, the surrounding is no place for you.
- Mrunal (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dee (10/5): Recommended for short stay - Lovely family and a really comfortable room especially for juat one night. Very close to horse stables and quite a walk to get there so should have kept that in mind when booking it as my partner's allergic to horses (haha) no fault of anyone but good to note!
- Taisei (8/5): Very good - the hotel is located nearby pyramids.
staffs and owner always help me. they have good hospitality. nothing especially
- Birgit (9/5): Superb - If you want to experience a kind of homestay with an egyptian family you should definitely come here.from the moment you enter you feel welcome and safe- since the area is pretty rough!!!.the rooms are simple but clean and big and the breakfast is really amazing.you can order great take away food for dinner and the entrance to the pyramids is only 600m away.from the terrace you can enjoy a perfect view.thank you so much for your warmth and hospitality and all the best for your future.
- Saakaar (10/5): Wow ! - Family run boutique hotel. Perfect view of the pyramids. Wow. Everything was just perfect.
- Edward (8/5): Very good - Excellent breakfast involving local foods
Location is right next to the pyramids
Thank you for a lovely stay :o)
- Hwee (8/5): Very friendly & reponsice owner - Very prompt in answering any queries that we have. Can view the Light & Sound pyramids show from the rooftop Location seems a bit unsafe due to a lot of boys/men hanging around outside the street as the stables are close by. Very quiet street. If you have sensitive nose, smell from stables might affect you
- Sacha (10/5): The most amazing hosts! Very clean room and excellent communication. - The breakfast was a fantastic home style meal with a spectacular view of the pyramids.
- Ako (8/5): Very good - The staff are amazing The location and the surrounding neighborhood
- Juanmoraga (10/5): perfecta estadia - the attention of mohamed and his family. They always helped me in what I needed. very good people
- Alexpogba (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, we felt very comfortable. The room was very clean and had all the basic necessities to make the stay comfortable. The hotel has a balcony where you can see the pyramids fantastically and at night the light show.
- Omar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Omar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional - the staff is amazing
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful boutique hotel, room was spacious, modern and had everything you need. The bed was large and comfortable, we both slept really well. We were the only guests so had the place to ourselves! The view of the pyramids is spectacular, at night you can see the light show (for free!). The location is great, so close to the pyramids. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are animals kept along the road but there is hardly any smell from them, it certainly doesn’t affect the experience of staying at this wonderful hotel. Breakfast was an Egyptian feast, you will not go hungry here! Everything was delicious, eaten on the balcony overlooking the pyramids - phenomenal! Mr Mahmoud and his lovely wife are some of the nicest, kindest, most helpful people we’ve ever met. Mr Mahmoud is so knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great recommendations. It really felt like being with family, we were fussed over like our parents would, made to feel so welcome.
The only constructive criticism we could make would be that the hotel is not well signposted at all, however if you tell Mr Mahmoud what time you will be arriving, either him or his son will be waiting for you.
Highly recommend this outstanding hotel, the perfect choice for seeing the sights in Cairo and the most wonderful hosts. Thank you so much for our lovely stay, if we find ourselves in Cairo again we will definitely return.
- Daniel (8/5): Great option to visit the pyramids - All good , close to the Giza complex, 5 minute waling. Restaurants ans grocery stores all around. The surroundings conditions are not to blame to the property No WiFi
