- Sabrina (1/5): Niemals wieder !
- Suraj (9/5): - The staff were friendly, the location was convenient and clean facilities, breakfast was good, but the room offered limited privacy as sounds carried from next door.

- Bujar (3/5): Poor - Location Heating was not working we was with baby and we called the manager he didnt response at phone.
It was not clean, I think he is not changing the sheets after every book. Dust was everwhere
- Finnevo (4/5): Finnevo - Locaition is okay, shower was own and we have own toilet, price was okay. Room was could. Walls are paper, you can hear when the neighbor in the room is making love, every push and sigh can be heard through the doors. Check- in and chek-out make your room
Reception It outside ja you must wait 10 minutes get It out. 50 euros deposti to keys, but It returns if all is okay. Exotic place , look this if you not need normally hotel services.
- Ilija (1/5): No - nothing when we arrived at the door of the hotel, the employee from the reception took us back and said that our room had already been occupied by another girl and that he was not the one who let him go because he was staying at the hotel for 4 days and we were staying for 2 days and we had only booked that hotel through booking many bad favors 1-1
- Potapenko (4/5): Disappointing -
- Raul (8/5): Very good - You can not pay with card, you have to pay cash
- Brandon (1/5): Did not receive key bond back - Did not receive key bond back
- Alberto (1/5): Bad -
- Paul (1/5): The most terrrible stay I ever had - I LIKED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING Very rude staffs
Very weird sounds
Dirty rooms
You have to be harassed to leave even before time
If you’ve never been in a live horror then visit this place at your own risk.
- Bent (4/5): Disappointing - There was a problem with the air system. There was a strong odor coming from a kitchen, I guess a kebabshop. There also was mold on the wall and ceiling in the shower. Again I think from the same reason.
- Yuliya (1/5): Bad - Komplett HORRIBLE
- Allan (1/5): The worst stay I've ever had despite staying in MANY cheaper hotels and hostels all over Europe! - NOTHING!!
I didn't have any breakfast as the whole treatment I got from the host/landlord was extremely bad and abusive immediately from my arrival. It was VERY dirty! There was for example dust under the bed that was AT LEAST 6-12 months old! See photos!
Furthermore the landlord was very upset, rude and abusive when I tried to ask him some simple questions, for example if it was possible to pay with a credit card, which I normally always do either on arrival or online ahead of arrival. According to him it was beyond any doubt from the information online that you have to pay in cash (which isn't true!) AND also deposit 50 euros in cash for the keys. On top of that I had to sign a paper stating that I had to pay 200 euros for the keys if I had lost them. This is remarkable since the cost of making new keys definitely couldn't have been more than at the most around 10-20 euros!
Despite the fact that this place was called a kind of a HOTEL the standard was worse than in a very cheap hostel!!! Take my advice:
AVOID THIS PLACE!
- Kitanovski (8/5): Very good -
- Indrek (6/5): Pleasant -
- Llewellyn (3/5): Bizarre and very suspicious - The receptionist is weird and doesn't let you in the reception area, which was very strange, he asked me to pay for my room outside on the street which I really hated. Will never come back there again. Also its strictly cash and they don't use any credit card machines, which made me more suspicious of the establishment. - Munish (7/5): It was pleasant stay once you make your check in. - It’s close to the centre. There is no reception desk. They only provide check in and check out time slot and out of the check in time slot you won’t be able to get the keys.
- Bikash (1/5): Worst place for sure!!!! - Nothing. There was nothing to like. It's the worst. The hotel has the worst staff and one should never book the hotel. They lied that if contacted they could allow after 6 pm for check-in but they did not allow it. So, don't trust, you will lose all your money and the hotel will not even put forward an apology!
- Sarhan (3/5): Bad experience - Location Everything was bad
- Jean-luc (2/5): Very poor -
- Danilovmy (6/5): Сheap solution for 1-2 nights. - Friendly owner, reasonable price, very close to the metro and EDECA. High ceilings in a room make it look bigger. The room was not very clean and the desk light did not work, you could hear what was going on in the neighbouring rooms .
- Valentin (7/5): Room was ok for this price. Thanks. -

- Stella (1/5): Bad - Very unfriendly staff, absolutely dreadful. Don’t stay here.
- Appiah (3/5): Poor -
- Daniel (3/5): price - quality = bad - The room is big.
The owner is a very Kind person.
The neighbourhood is very quite.
I think because of the price worth much more to rent a room in a hostal with share toilet. Bin had trash from previous people.
Furniture had dust (accumulated for a week I would say)
There is just one plug the mobile (in the entrance of the room - not in bedside table)
The time to do check in and do check out are very, very uncomfortable (from 15hrs to 18hrs and at 8am respectively)
- Jft96 (8/5): Very good -
- Shrestha (1/5): Bad -
- Noel (7/5): Good -
- Abdullah (2/5): The stuff was so bad and he asked more money when we were there. He is rude too. Be concern about it -
- Carl (6/5): Pleasant - The location was good, and easily accessible to the metro. We booked on bookings.com, which stated that payment could be made via card on the date. Upon arrival, the owner was pretty rude and stand-offish and stated he doesn’t really use bookings.com, and stated he only accepted cash. This was inconvenient. Once we paid, etc, the owner warmed up a bit towards us and was pleasant from there on.
- Phil (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karl (6/5): Pleasant - The bed was nice. WLAN intact. Nice connection to city centre by S-Bahn.
- Marie-melissa (5/5): Cheap cost-cheap stay - Cheap, good location close to everything I needed. Sink in the room and TV. Floor was dirty, morning of checkout I had to wake up at 8 to give keys although checkout was at 10. Not very clean, showers not so clean, shower head broken and would not stay in place.
- Timea (9/5): Superb -
- Savic (3/5): For this accommodation price should be at least 60% lower! - Nice and peaceful neighborhood. Train stations are near, super markets near. Building is old and floors are noisy. Employees are too old and they dont pay atention on documentation so they woke me up early on the wrong day to chek out. Also, no one is present during nights so some guests make incredible noise and make it imposible to sleep. I understand that this spouse to be a cheap accommodation but even for this price you can say that is too high. Furniture so old that bed make noise when you breath.Only way to sleep here is to take medications ! Noise from other rooms made by walking, talking, snore.... I am so disappointed that I was thinking to ask for my money back.
- Minas (1/5): Disappointed! - It was clean. (But cleanliness only is never enough) What is the meaning of 50 Euros for "key deposit"!!!!?? And why pay "only" with cash!!??
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amr (6/5): Pleasant -
- Inna (1/5): i wish i was never there - nothing everything
- Shipu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrej (5/5): Passable -
- Safaa (1/5): Bad -
- Samuel (5/5): Passable - The owner was fairly nice, and they accepted cash. The floor and chairs were not clean at all, no slippers and it's not a hotel (It's just a Pension).
- Chaudhary (9/5): Superb -
- Veben (4/5): Disappointing - - Friendly owner
- Good location close to the Ubahn - Bathroom was very dirty
- A bit cold due (heating is turned off in the evening)
- Room facing the street was a bit loud (rooms are on the ground floor)
*Note: Cash payment and 20€ deposit for the key
- Christoph (3/5): other option? take it! - The original Berlinorigenie was cool, and finally unreliable as all these local people are. check in from 3-6 pm, sharp! nearly didn't make it. Phoned in advance...no chance!! no choice! arriving @6.02..."why are you sweating? take time..." ...pardon me..thats grotesk!
- Renaldo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nadezhda (2/5): Freezing cold and overpriced room - The location is good. Located close to the U Bahn and close to the train station and Mitte. It was incredibly cold the entire time we were staying there. We we’re told only after arriving that every night, for the whole night, they shut off the heating to save energy, and in wintertime in Berlin this means being the room gets very cold at night. Even in the day with the heater turned all the way up, it was never above 18 degrees celsius in our room. The bathroom was odd, it was like a box built into the room and it didn’t seem like it was cleaned very well. Not a comfortable stay at all.
- Kanagaratnam (1/5): Bad - from 10 pm tp 7am no heater,it was not reduced but the heater was off, danger of catching cough and cold
the Reception mann demanding only the payment in cash not creditcard. and also the cheakin time is not suitable,
he said the cheakin only 15:30 and cheackout time should be before 9:30 am
- Ono (4/5): Proximity to Turmstr but Unclean - It's proximity to Turmstr with all the shops there is lovely and it's close to Underground station.
The caretaker is also professional It's unclean. The bedsheets and pillow covers were covered in hair from the last occupant before I came. I had to go buy new ones to use as there was no available space in other hotels close by.
The price of 50€ for a night is too expensive as you just get a bed and the bathroom. Room is never cleaned. The towels offered are old and worn out.
The things in the room are so unkept the curtains were as brown as anything and very dusty. I was grateful I survived that long without getting sick.
It's wrong to call this place a hotel. It's more of a brothel with a bed and bathroom. Everything you'll need to bring yourself.
- Gridi (2/5): Very poor - Very comfortable
- Loiacono (1/5): never again - just the position rude owner
dirty, with spiders and webs as flat mates
reception kept secret like a CIA basement, what the heck?
- Rezwan (5/5): Great value in a good location. But don't expect much. - The place was clean. The water was warm. There was TV that was working, clean sheets. Thanks for that. The stay requires deposit for keys and even for using internet. The heater was turned off after 10 or 11 pm and it was really cold outside (-2) - but as I decided to sleep there was not much an issue. There was a lot of noise in the neighboring room.
- Skrijelj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mikhael (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed in Hotel Garni Aaberna several times! Hotel has a good transport connection near U bahn and S Bahn stations. There are a lot of shops nere by. Hotel has fast wifi connection.
- Virgilio (1/5): Bad -
- Trixibell (5/5): Passable - The closenes of the town centre the Shower in my room close to the Bed
- Sævar (8/5): Very good - It is a little peculiar but perfect for a budget easy travel. Everything up to expectation.
- Ghalia (5/5): Passable -
- Steven (1/5): Bad -
- Abdulrahman (1/5): Bad -
- Aparecido (1/5): Bad - the host wasn’t there when we arrived, we were begging to him come coz it was late night, but he did not care. I would never trate somebody like this, if you have an option, chose another place!
- Soby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Xtian_cristi (2/5): Not worth it - dirty, rude owner, and cash only - This is not a hotel, a private house rented in a rude way. The check-in is the most akward check-in I ever had. You need to ring at hotel door, the owner is coming outside of building which supose to be the hotel and walk you at a different door where there is some rooms.
The owner, or whoever is the guy who open the door, is very rude. The check-in is strictly between 3 and 5 pm. I arrived earlier and i ask at least to hold my luggage, he said is not possible. I said then, if is not possible, cancel my booking if i am not welcomed here, I will not pay a cent. With a artistic face he took my luggage and held it for an hour.
He will ask for a 20 euros deposit, for keys, even if on the hotel description there is no such thing. Also, all payments are cash and cash only. He will say this over and over again. Because i had flight monday at 4 am, and the checkout is strictly between 8 am and 10 am, I had to give him the keys the night before at 10 PM, so i was actually prisoned in the room which i pay'd.
I book a room with a king size bed, and actually they put bedsheet only for one person half of matress (the other half of bed no sheets, pilow or duvet). There is no extra pillows or blankets and is really cold during night time.
Also, the walls are so thin, all night i heard neighbour's snoring. Is a cheaper hotel, but with all this remarks I made a bad choice saving couples of bucks.
