Guest Reviews
- Judith (10/5): - Really enjoyed our one-night stay for the darts at the O2. Really friendly staff, Joel was very helpful. Perfect for connecting to trains etc. as it's within walking distance. Everything was really good, no complaints.
- José (8/5): - Quite área , close to river Long transportar connections to center of London, few breakfast options, wc very Small and with low exaustor
- Michelle (9/5): Really great place, would stay again. - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Water bottle provided in room and staff were happy to refill many times. Bed was very comfortable. Great facilities, coffee/tea in room, large powerful shower and hairdryer.
I stayed for London Marathon weekend (Fri & Sat) and just wanted to chill in the room before the big race. Breakfast was very good on Sat, unfortunately I had to leave before breakfast on Sunday. Food being served in the pub looked very tastey although I didn't try it - no pasta options :)
Location is really close to both DLR (Island Gardens) and the Greenwich foot tunnel. Easy to get the Excel to pickup race number and Greenwich for race start. The only issue I had was that my room (3) was by the aircon or kitchen fan outlet and it was quite noisy. Although I did get used to it by the second day. It was only on while the pub was open, stopped at 11pm, so was ok during the night and it did block out other noises.
- Jacqueline (5/5): - The location was nice if you are staying on the east side of London and Greenwich. The room is in a slant. The lights in the room only lit the area by the door. The bed was on wheels so when you go to sit down it can roll away from you.
- Tracy (10/5): -
- Bob (7/5): Hyggeligt - Det var hyggeligt og roligt Deres morgenmad og personale var sgu ikke særlig hjælpsomt
- Lauren (10/5): -
- IRWIN (9/5): Lovely place to stay! - Beautiful place to stay & for the price it’s perfect! Location is ideal as it’s a 5 min walk at most to the nearest station! The staff were so helpful & friendly too! Nothing! The property was great, would’ve loved to try the included breakfast as kitchen was closed but other than that it was perfect
- Raczkowska (8/5): - Great staff, a charming hotel in an excellent location It wasn’t very clean.
- Neil (5/5): - Great location for Greenwich, no road noise and quiet neighbourhood. Staff pleasant and included breakfast was good. Faulty shower, no remote for the TV, and small bed. The route, doors and locks to use when returning late were not great either. Not a bad place but quite tired and in need of some tlc.

- INES (10/5): Super stay ! - The staff is really nice, it's super clean, quiet and safe ! Nothing !
- mark (8/5): More character than the average chain hotel, helpful staff, good location. - Good location near to the Island Gardens train station. Nice community atmosphere in the pub in the evenings. Building had a lot of character. Very helpful staff who added a second night for me at short notice - thanks guys. Comfortable and quiet room. Good breakfast which was included. Reliable WiFi. I stayed two nights and was surprised that the room was not made up before the second night.
- Kim (8/5): - Excellent Location.
- Kiera (8/5): -
- Stacey (8/5): -
- Carter (10/5): - The bed location and staff The food was a little expensive
- Ben (6/5): Suitable for 1 night for an event - The bathroom was really nice and modern, great location and easy to get too. Staff really friendly. The mattress was uncountable and the fan was not working, the tv remote did not have any batteries and the bin did not have any bin liners. Even on the top floor it was really noisy and we heard all the noise from the pub but it’s expected for staying in a pub.
- Jade Clarke (10/5): Perfect water side place to stay with a friendly atmosphere and comfortable rooms. - Staff were very good, breakfast was lovely and they catered for me great which is a relief as a celiac but also offered alternatives if I didn't feel comfortable having their food I couldn't complain!
- Megan (9/5): -
- Heinz Dietmar (8/5): -
- Ashley (10/5): - Location for the 02 was good and the room very comfortable
- Carl (6/5): The stay was okay and with just the odd alteration it be a nice little place to stay . - Breakfast was really poor the bacon I really not sure what they was trying to accomplish but ask how you want your bacon this was crispy like flakes . If I was paying £16.50 it would have gone back . The sausage was overdone . There was a smell in the bathroom like a mould smell all even though I like seeing a toilet brush in a hotel but this had seen better days the quilt had a large stain on it as we moved it was under the covers . The heaters we couldn’t get to work so close the curtains If go out to keep the warm in .
- Caroline (8/5): Comfortable, friendly and welcoming. Great food. - Nice and comfortable rooms. Lovely breakfast Nothing. But found it a little more difficult to get to the O2 from there.
- David (10/5): -
- Roel (4/5): -
- Michael (7/5): You can do this. - The food was very good. We thought the burger in particular was one of the best we have ever had.
We enjoyed the balconies and the view from the bedroom. The decor downstairs needs a bit of refreshing. It was fine in the bedroom.
The doors to the balconies are not draught proof and the heaters in the bedroom are not sufficiently powerful.
- Maynard (10/5): - Everything.. was a lovely comfortable stay.. staff was friendly and helpful too which makes it even nicer.
- Gary (4/5): NOBREAKFAST AVAILABLE UNTIL 9.30!!! - Location and Rooms The fact that breakfast was not available
We had paid for breakfaxt and had a long journey in front of us
Thus ruined our explerience
- John (8/5): -
- Gabor (9/5): - Everything was fine, staff was kind, food was great, location was good. -
- Tony (1/5): -
- Nishant (6/5): warm and friendly welcome, but not the best sleep with a bit of noise and the morning team not great - very warm and friendly welcome
comfortable bed bit noisy and bright in the room
the female waiter in the morning was very unfriendly and curt
- Uve (8/5): Local homestay vibes - I loved the corner pub atmosphere - most British. You should expect that of the entire experience, this is not a polished hotel but more like a homestay. The chef was ill on the second morning and guests could not have breakfast at the pub. I got a refund and had breakfast elsewhere, but it complicated my morning.

- Anwar (9/5): -
- Tamsin (9/5): Great characterful stay in a good location - A lovely old fashioned pub hotel (check out its history) with lots of character, nice staff and good food. The room was good, fairly recently done up and clean with a good view.
- Yvonne (9/5): - Convenient location, friendly staff and a good breakfast in the morning.
- Sarah (8/5): - Great location for the O2.great valve for the money.the staff we're really friendly and helpful,we ate there before we went to the O2 lovely and breakfast was good the next morning Shower on/off control was broken . I'd read this in previous reviews so it needs sorting.as it set the alarm off as it was too hot and couldn't alter the temperature so room filled with steam.
- Lukasz (10/5): -
- Emily (8/5): Lovely place, lovely people, would stay again - Breakfast was nice, room was lovely. View out on to the river. Multiple options of public transport to get to and from central London Bed could have been more comfortable

- Ramunė (5/5): - Patiko vieta Rytais nebūdavo karšto vandens, sunkiai atsisukdavo dušas, per savaitę nė karto nebuvo išneštos šiukšlės, keturis kartus nebuvo pusryčių, nors numeris su pusryčiais.
- Nichola (9/5): -
- Smither (10/5): Great location and breakfast was great staff were lovely - Location was good and the room was nice, breakfast was amazing Few light bulbs out and mattress was springy
- Thomas (8/5): It’s a meeting point for the neighborhood and they do all to keep it like this. A living room for everybody and customer - I’m totally addicted to shabby chic and style of classic pub culture in Great Britain, and Waterman’s arms is for sure an excellent example for this. All great thank you
- Bart (8/5): - Gezellig
- Rosemary (7/5): - Second year I'vr booked Christmas nught. Comfortable room. Bit creepy coming in late at night when pub is closed!!
- Neil (10/5): genuine surprise at how good this place was. - The breakfast was exceptional - best full english I've had in years nothing - was great
- Terry (7/5): -
- Raelene (10/5): a restful stay away from the hustle and bustle. - Lovely English Pub with expanded rooms. Great staff and a good bar menu. Also not too far from the many restaurants in Canary Warf.
While this is well outside the London Mile and takes a little getting to it was easy to find and quiet.
while there was a hot spell, fans were provided so comfort was not an issue. No lift- keep your luggage light.

- Dora (10/5): Nice room, great breakfast, pleasant neighborhood – ideal for a weekend stay. - We spent one night here and were very satisfied! We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but one of the friendly staff members kindly offered to store our backpacks, which was a great help. The room was nice and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was included in the price and was freshly prepared in the morning - it was delicious and we had several options to choose from. :) The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, with easy access to public transport (DLR, buses). As two girls traveling, we felt completely safe. I would happily stay here again if I need accommodation in this area! Everything was great, but during the summer heat, the room also got quite warm. The fan helped a lot, and we were able to sleep at night. (There’s no mosquito net on the window, so keeping it open wasn’t really an option.) However, if someone is sensitive to heat, it might be worth considering a different place during the summer. It didn’t bother us, as we didn’t spend much time in the room, and at night we placed the fan close to the bed, which made it perfectly fine for us.
- Nicola Frances (9/5): Great stay - Very easy from the train station and very easy to get to Greenwich nice views of the Thames Nothing it was a base for our group and everything was in easy reach
- Leigh Waterman (10/5): Very enjoyable relaxing and comfortable - It was tasty and good portion size very nice ataff All amenities were very good
- Kitchener (10/5): - Excellent choice of fare for breakfast & location suited for function at o2
- ALMINA (10/5): -
- Tyrone (2/5): -
- sarah (8/5): - Breakfast was good quality. Would have been perfect to not have the restriction of one drink only.
- Patricia (7/5): Nice but somewhat overpriced - Nice, comfy bed. Very good breakfast included in our stay! The kettle in the room was full of limescale, with no nozzle mesh to catch it so when I wanted a tea, I couldn’t make one. The bathroom was fairly clean but the grout lines in the shower and the shower tray itself need a deep clean.
- Xuan (5/5): unsatisfied experience - location is good. close to tube station (5 minutes walk) and River 1. Cleanliness definitely needs a lot of improvement. The room was not clean when we arrived and there was almost no room service. Trash bin was overflowing, and toilet paper was out the last day of our stay.
2. The small room is really small. No space for any furniture except a minitablet and two mini nightstands. I had never seen such a small sink before that water flew to the floor even with face washing.
3. This place looks like a mainly restaurant, several rooms (about 7) upstairs were remodeled for hotel rooms. Staff seems very limited. She was mostly taking care of restaurant customers. I had to ask for receipt more than 3 times and waiting for her to give me a paper receipt because it never happened when she said she would email it to me.
4. I chose this place because previous good review about breakfast. However, there is really not many choices and multiple things on the menu were not provided as complimentary breakfast.
- Elis (10/5): -

- Luca (9/5): -
