- Rachel (8/5): - חדר גדול אמבטיה נוחה מיטה נוחה . דלת מקשרת ששומעים דרכה את החדר השכן .גם לא אהבנו את ארוחת הבוקר.
- Lorraine (10/5): Exceptional - The room felt luxurious and comfy. The breakfast was exceptional and staff very friendly. nothing - it was all good

- 494nekys (10/5): Incredible stay - Such a wonderful stay. Nothing was too much for the Dog and Fox staff. Our room was beautiful, supper exquisite and the breakfast perfect. Not only would I recommend the Dog and Fox but I would urge you to treat yourself to a stay!! We will be back!!

- Lisa (9/5): - I love the whole vibe of the pub style hotel. The room was really nicely furnished - there was tea making facilities and a bath!! Unfortunately, the water for the bath/shower was not very hot - both evening and morning. Although the tap water for the hand basin was extremely hot. This spolit the stay a little bit for me as I was really looking forward to a steaming hot bath!
- fjellhege (10/5): Easter-break - Great location, quality rooms and modern bathrooms. Friendly and serviceminded staff.
The Commons and Village are a perfect combo with the more busy city center

- anniegoesgalavanting (10/5): Cosy pub with cool restaurant and quiet lovely rooms. - Much bigger than it looks! A rabbit warren of corridors and cosy rooms. We booked a double and twin but on arrival were told we had two double rooms. We weren’t too happy as although our 20 yr old boy/girl twins are ok about sharing a room I certainly wouldn’t ever expect them to share a bed!! Fortunately the nice girl on reception was also a twin and shared our horror at that!! There was a spare small double bedroom so the kids were delighted to have their own room each. The rooms are cool but cosy with homemade biscuits and lovely toiletries. Very competitive price and nice to stay out of the bustle of London. We lived nearby when the kids were babies so it’s an area that we know with lots of nice eating options. We didn’t eat at the hotel this time but have before and would definitely recommend. We will definitely stay again. Very large double with views along the high st for us, my son had a nice double with a small terrace and my daughter had a cosy room in the eaves😊
- Péter (10/5): Dog and Fox: the place to stay in Wimbledon! - Sweet and cozy room, vibrating pub and exceptional hospitality. Personel is friendly and helpfull. A small remark on the bathroom: was very cold, despite the radiator running... windows aren't airtight.
- E7208QSnicholasl (4/5): Disappointing experience. - Upon arrival the reception was unmanned.
The decor at reception was tired
The room key card didn’t work and required multiple trips back to reception to have the key card reprogrammed.
The room was decor was ok however the bathroom smelt badly of drains. This wasn’t alleviated by running the shower / taps and immediately returned. This was present throughout the night and disturbed my sleep.
The hotel bar was pleasant, however Wednesday night was quiz night and it was too loud to sit and have a normal conversation.
The breakfast menu was fine, however the continental offering was poor and limited. The breakfast food was ok.
The hotel staff were helpful and pleasant,
The location is convenient although parking options are limited. The hotel is a 3 star however with some improvements could be a lot better.

- Wayne (9/5): Staff excellent and location ideal for trip. - Location excellent and staff all very friendly First mornings pastry and bread seemed a bit dry

- Jonathan (9/5): Great stay in a lovey pub/ hotel in a fabulous location in the heart of Wimbledon - Great location and lovely property right in the heart of Wimbledon. Exceeded my expectations significantly. Room was very warm and wasn’t easy or obvious to fix it.
- tanyalR3138JE (10/5): Very customer focused and friendly service with a warm human touch. - From the moment of arrival to moment of departure, the level of service and attention was excellent. The human touch at various times during our stay was very noticeable and much appreciated.
- Aaron (7/5): Was ok. Great location. Great staff. - Location Poor lighting in room. TV stopped working on night 2 and room service Eggs Benny maybe the worst I've ever had.

- Patricia (10/5): EXCEPTIONAL! - My stay at The Dog & Fox in Wimbledon was simply exceptional. From the moment I walked in, everything felt warm, elegant, and beautifully curated. The room was absolutely stunning — even more beautiful than in the photos — with exquisite décor and thoughtful details that made it feel both luxurious and inviting. The highlight was undoubtedly the bathtub beside the bed, which gave the whole space a dreamy, boutique-style atmosphere that made the stay feel truly special.
Every element, from the comfort of the bed to the overall ambiance, exceeded my expectations. It wasn’t just a hotel stay; it was an experience. I genuinely felt like I was in a little oasis of calm and style. I would return without hesitation and recommend it to anyone looking for something unique, cosy, and unforgettable in Wimbledon. .
- Graeme (9/5): Would certainly stay again. - Staff were helpful and highly professional, the room was very comfortable and spotless, the bathroom well-appointed and likewise, spotless. Graet welcome basket, much more original than the dreaded "mini fridge"! The lack of parking which, while not unexpected in London, was a minor headache.
I understand why they couldn't be - but having widows that could be opened, even a few cm, would have been great ...
- C7099PTjohn (10/5): Hey Fred (Flintstones reference, not flirtatious) - As I meandered towards the bar on a desperately cold evening, I was met by a charming man that shared the same name as the protagonist in The Flintstones. Fred. What can I say, and what a guy?! This well mannered, chiseled and graceful bartender delivered and not only that, delivered in spades. Calmly pouring the glass of rosé in a Prince Andrew like way ie, not a trace of sweat in sight. The foundations of this fine establishment are built on the bedrock of strong characters like Fred. Bravo, old fruit, bravo!
- Stephen2309 (10/5): Classy accommodation in heart of Wimbledon village. - Excellent pub hotel perfectly situated in the heart of Wimbledon village . Quirky but comfortable rooms . Great breakfast freshly made & wide ranging menu.
Manager as always very helpful.
Great atmosphere in the pub during rugby six nations.
- Lisa (8/5): Well located and cosy! - Well located; cosy room; friendly staff., There is a very busy restaurant downstairs and this did not always feel clean.
- Rupert (7/5): -
- carolinesP7969RH (10/5): A welcoming ,stylish and extremely comfortable hotel ,conveniently sighted and competitively priced, - An extremely enjoyable and very comfortable stay.I was given a beautifully spacious room with excellent facilities provided with thought and attention to detail.I was delighted to find how warm it was and to have a bath was a bonus too.On arrival the reception team were most welcoming and helpful and on departure too.
I look forward to an opportunity to stay again.Great convenient location and all at a very fair price.
- Thomas (10/5): Staff were excellent - Room was really nice clean and comfortable Nothing
- Eva-Kai (9/5): Beautiful old hotel with modern comfort - Lovely old hotel with good atmosphere and nice feeling. Loved the dog & fox theme everywhere. Good pub in the hotel with great menu and wibe. We had also great breakfast there. Nb! Dogs treats jar in bar. Good beds and linen. Had proper rest. Very good shampoo and palsam in bathroom. Near of good vintage shops and cafes in center of village. Everything was good.
- 175allisonh (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Wimbledon - This is my go to place to stay when at the office in Wimbledon . The staff are really helpful and friendly, the service in the restaurant and bar are spot on and the rooms are a great size , really well equipped, quiet and the bed and lines make sure you get a good nights sleep . I would definitely recommend the hotel . Great value for money

- Katherine (9/5): Loved it! Thank you - Very comfortable hotel right in the heart of Wimbledon. Room and bed comfortable - staff is so nice. Coffee and tea kettle in the room: shower has great pressure: cute - I would stay here abutim Nothing

- Brian504176 (10/5): Incredible weekend retreat. - One of the best little weekend escapes we’ve had in a long time. The room was exceptional and the food was outstanding, but what really stood out was the service and hospitality. Phill and the team were incredibly engaging and made a real effort with our two young children — from menu recommendations to simply making us feel genuinely welcome. We’ll definitely be back, especially with so much to see and do in the village.
- Craig (10/5): - Sky tv was not connected in room 34. It worked perfect in room 15 when I stayed last week. Was disappointed as I missed the football.
- Steve (8/5): -
- Robert (8/5): Good Central Village Pub - We stayed in the Fox Suite this time and it is at the very front of the hotel overlooking the road. It was a big comfortable room, but in need of a little TLC.
We had problems with the shower, but it was promptly fixed. Staff are excellent and the pub itself is busy and appealing. This was our second stay and we would stay again. I preferred the “Skylight” room which was for our first stay. There is no parking and taxis need to drop you off at the small road providing access to the stables.
- Craig (10/5): -
- Alan (9/5): Friendly staff. Good food and accommodation was clean and had all necessary facilities. -
- M3132SQjanej (10/5): Best stay in Wimbledon - We always stay at the Fox and Dog as our son lives near by. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Best rates and always a warm welcome. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Great choice of breakfast and the staff are so welcoming. Dogs also welcome
- W2326TFstacys (10/5): Hidden Gem - The Dod and Fox is a hidden gem and the the staff are very accommodating you going out of their way to make you happy.
The rooms are clean with all that is needed and we loved that a delicious hot breakfast was included in our room rate.
The beds are hard so if you like a softer feel ask for a mattresses topper. It made all the difference!
They can also book a car service to and from the airport which is nice. I loved the towel warmers!
- Flyer38710487347 (10/5): A lovely base for staying in Wimbledon - I stayed at the Dog &Fox Christmas Eve and Christmas night as I was visiting my daughter and her family in Wimbledon Park . I had my little dog with me, we stayed in Room 12 and could nt have been more pleased . The room was comfortable, the bed especially. It was very clean and the bathroom just perfect. Was very taken with the doggie welcome box and bowl too. Being Christmas there was a lovely happy friendly atmosphere from both the staff in all areas . Have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and centrally situated for the town and walks on the Common!
- christine (8/5): -
- Malcolm (10/5): Very good - Clean, well maintained .. a delightful place to stay. No noise travels up from the pub. Pub itself has good beer and excellent food - try the mackerel and chicken schnitzel .. Nothing!
- Michael (10/5): Staff were tremendous - Everything Nothing
- MichelleR898 (10/5): Excellent Stay, As Always. - Excellent stay, as always. Perfect location in Wimbledon Village. The room we had this time was the best we've had, so that made this stay extra special. The staff were also exceptional - helpful and kind. The food and atmosphere in the pub is always good - we stay here regularly. Highly recommended.
- Christopher (8/5): Very friendly staff, convenient restaurant with good food, the room was perfect size with good internet connection. Enjo - Clean and well furnished, a short walk from Wimbledon station in the heart of the village Nothing
- Alexander (10/5): -
- Fitzpatrick (8/5): - Great hotel and pub, service a little inconsistent
- Jane (9/5): - The food, the room. Parking!!!...Ended up with a Parking Ticket fine £65...mis-information given on arrival
- Valérie (10/5): -
- Rfitz37 (8/5): Great stay, we'll be back again - Really lovely hotel, great rooms good food and handy location. Service not great in the bar and breakfast though, long wait when busy
- Roger (3/5): Unpleasant. - From the first minute I felt drivalia was trying to upsell me. I got an enormous sense of mistrust. That if I wasn’t careful I’d get screwed.
Like bringing back half a tank of petrol. Not full. Half tank. Difficult to measure. Deliberately.
- Greg (9/5): Really nice place !! - Really impressive place - room was lovely, very spacious, and neat/ clean. Great bar/ dining room area, with good food (had dinner & breakfast there). Staff all very friendly. Everything was great, I would definitely stay there again. Only thing I didn’t like was the dog wandering around / begging at the table while we were having breakfast.
- VCofPlymouth (10/5): Fantastic!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Dog & Fox in Wimbledon. The rooms are truly fabulous….beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with those thoughtful touches that make you feel instantly at home. The bar and restaurant are just as impressive, offering a warm, lively atmosphere and excellent food and drinks throughout the day.
The location couldn’t be more perfect. Right in the heart of Wimbledon Village, it’s ideal for exploring the local shops, cafés, and green spaces, while still providing an easy hop to Wimbledon Common or the station.
What really sets The Dog & Fox apart, though, is the staff. Every single person I encountered was genuinely friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Their warmth and professionalism made the whole experience feel special from start to finish. Special thanks go to Sophie and Kelsey!
Highly recommended. This is easily one of the best places to stay in the area and beyond, and I can’t wait to return.
- Cora (10/5): -
- Andy (5/5): Room was poor, great location though - Location is great Room was above air conditioning unit, so the windows had been been covered with a film so you couldn’t see out blocking the view, it was like staying in a box with minimum light, really disappointing
- allison (8/5): - Great location beautiful hotel rooms a good size and well appointed friendly staff and looked lovely dressed for Christmas The bed was really hard and caused me severe back ache unfortunately
- A1055YUannh (10/5): My home away from home - The Dog and Fox is my home away from home. I usually travel to Wimbledon on business but I feel at home at the Dog and Fox. Beautiful, Historic and Stately with a fun decor and a great pub. Great value so I’m a frequent guest. The perfect spot on the High street close to numerous restaurants and shops.
- Robyn (9/5): Lovely hotel/pub - A lovely, friendly and welcoming hotel/pub. The room was nicely decorated, bed comfortable and facilities overall very good. Breakfast was excellent. A little on the pricy side but that's London.
- 869jeaninew (10/5): Good overall stay. - Very welcoming hotel. Room was very spacious and lovely clean bathroom.
Delicious breakfast in the morning.
Staff very friendly.
The hotel is well located for public transport.
- HelenWakefield (10/5): Top notch dining and extremely comfortable stay. Welcoming and attentive staff. - What a beautiful, homely yet high-end experience! The food is fantastic and the staff delightful. Highly recommended.
- Stephen (9/5): -
- George (9/5): A good suburban pub. - Convenient location, we have family living close by, comfortable rooms tastefully furnished good restaurant and bar nice overall atmosphere. Parking is a constant problem in Wimbledon, even unloading baggage on arrival is a challenge with strictly enforced parking restrictions.
- johnny (9/5): - Lugnet, standarden, sängarna.
- ClemenceP575 (10/5): Great stay - It’s always great to be back at the Dog and Fox. Perfect location, cosy rooms stocked with Bramley products and friendly staff! Would totally recommend it.
- Di (10/5): - A home away from home. In the heart of bustling Wimbledon, the Dog and Fox provided a place of friendly and homely respite. Our room was quaint, exceptional, clean, and comfortable. The linens and bathroom amenities were top quality.
Our room had everything we needed. Wine and champagne glasses were a nice touch.
Netflix and other cable were easily accessible.
Our breakfast was included. We recommend the full English breakfast you won't be disappointed.
Thoroughly recommend the Dog and Fox.
- Valerie (10/5): Best hotel out of the 7 we've stayed at on this trip. We'll be back. - Breakfast was varied and great. Location was handy to everything we wanted at the Wimbledon Book Fest. Staff was engaging, friendly and warm. Kelsey at the desk was awesome!! Ricardo, Eddie and Alfie were also good. Twin beds are TINY!! Coffee maker is loud.
- Marcus (7/5): Great location, very helpful staff, some minor improvements needed - Good location
Excellent staff No parking
No USB plugs
Hot water from bath tap did not work
Couldn't work out a/c at all!!
- Rebecca (8/5): Brilliant location, lovely decor, super staff - Brilliant location in centre, lovely decor and atmosphere. Staff were super esp the breakfast staff - so friendly and efficient. Nothing - perhaps pillows could’ve been better!
- Michael (10/5): - The staff continue to be excellent
- John (8/5): -
- roberta (9/5): -
- usane2025 (10/5): Fun, fair price, fabulous location and fabulous staff, oh and dining and breakdfast food first rate - The location is great, the atmosphere in the restaurant/bar area is fabulous but it is the staff who go the extra mile to make me welcome. The bedrooms are squirky and make you smile when you arrive. Food is always great.
- Michael (10/5): Fantastic stay - Excellent staff Nothing
- Kevan (8/5): - N/A The property is beginning to show signs of wear and tear. Paint chips, bathroom sealant. Broken nespresso coffee machine. Nothing that puts me off for now. But it needs tending to.
- Scott (8/5): -
- catherine (8/5): Cosy and comfortable but not necessarily that room - Cosy comfortable room and pleasant staff Noise coming from hotel heating system in area outside the room was difficult to bear. Ok when tv on or earplugs in bed.
- Tonythai555 (8/5): I always enjoy staying at the Dog & Fox. Individually styled rooms with top amenities, great location and friendly staff - Minor issues prevent me from giving 5 stars but overall still very good. The larger rooms with balcony are definitely worth the extra outlay.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Jemima (4/5): - Lovely location, right in the heart of Wimbledon. Nice layout and design, lovely bar as part of the hotel. Nice and quiet. The room was very dirty. Dust everywhere, loo was dirty, loo brush holder was full of old water, a long black hair on the toilet roll, dust on the side tables, kettle still full of water.
It was a shame as it just needed a good clean but the lack of care and attention to that really let it down.
- I2930WEgregoryw (10/5): Excellent accommodation and good value for money - We stayed at the dog and Fox on the evening of 1 October 2025: a superb welcome at reception after a seamless booking process a month earlier. We were also allowed a late check out to accommodate our circumstances.
The room was very comfortable And all the staff very helpful.
Furthermore, it seemed extremely good value for money.
- Pia (10/5): -
- Angela (8/5): Would definitely stay again when I’m in the area . - Central with great surrounding facilities. Great choice for breakfast and value for money . The bed was a bit hard for me but that’s just personal preference.
- Tracy (10/5): -
- PTC72 (10/5): The Place To Stay In Wimbledon - I stay at the Dog & Fox every couple months or so on business, and it's my 'go-to' hotel in Wimbledon.
As you would expect, tennis is a theme throughout the hotel. However, the rooms are individually designed and of various shapes and sizes which makes a nice change from the box room hotels of the major brands that I often use.
I find the beds are really comfy and the bathrooms are great. WiFi throughout the hotel seems to be no problem either.
The breakfast options are great - I always go for the Eggs Benny - and there's an abundant supply of pastries, juice and hot drinks.
The staff team are very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are all very friendly.
In all, I can't recommend the Dog & Fox enough. It's ideally located in the middle of the village and not too far a walk from the train station
- Pauline (10/5): Weekend stay in Wimbledon - Convenience, style, ambience Nothing
- Paul (8/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Excellent staff -
