The location is top notch, the atmosphere is unbeatable and staff really knows how to go above and beyond your expectations. The rooms are a bit tight on their own, and one side of the building is only a walk up, but the common area really creates a great environment to engage and unwind. Special shout out to Kate for always being the friendly face that welcomed us back from our daily adventures and the first one to wish us a good morning! She is a testament to the entire team's ability at making Z Hotel Covent Garden your home away from home!

Wingfield-Bennett (5/5): It's OK for one night, but I recommend not paying for breakfast (£15) but go to a local cafe. - The location is great, right in the heart of Covent Garden. The staff were helpful, but there clearly wasn't enough of them managing the morning rush. The room was small but functional and did the job for a single night. Breakfast terrible. I was told to take a seat and my coffee and bacon flat bread (the only cooked item available) would be brought over. 15 minutes and no coffee. I had to ask again and finally got my coffee and a soggy piece of flat bread with barely cooked bacon. Dripping with grease.

Jessica (8/5): - As a wheelchair user, I was delighted to find that this hotel room, was indeed wheelchair friendly. In the past I have stayed at many places who claim total access and then do not make good. their claim It must be admitted that if you are staying in any of their double beds with someone else, i did find. it a little troubling that one side of the bed is against the wall, and only one side can let a person in a wheelchair out. Saying that the bed was remarkably comfortable, and the t v very good. This is and amazingly compact hotel. I would recommend going chin the wheelchair. Then, their Queen room on your own. And then it would not be a problem.. for me, both the shower and the toilet were perfectly allocated with the correct grab rails. The room was superbly clean and the staff. Very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed their cafe area and found the food and drink great. I think you are mostly paying for the location that this hotel is in. But what a lovely location! I would recommend this hotel to any wheelchair user . The bed although it was very comfortable, and I just wouldn't take someone with me next time! Me and my dad only stayed for the one night but had I been there longer. I don't think I could have managed that bed.
Gill (8/5): Brilliant location for an overnight stay after the theatre, lovely area, but very small bedrooms. - Really great location, just a couple of minutes from the centre of Covent Garden. We had a lovely view from our room of the rose garden behind the actors' church. The staff were all lovely: friendly, helpful, always available. Even for central London these bedrooms really are very small, though well-equipped. The ensuite was a good size though and had plenty of shelf space. It's definitely one where packing a capsule wardrobe is a good idea.

Everything you could want in a location for a short stay. Hotel team excelled with spot on reccomendations to dine. Service at reception was warm, welcoming and genuine. Great room facilities too. Would wholeheartedly recommend the Z at Covent Garden and special thanks to Tegan for all her help and tea making after we walked the streets.

Paul A-C (8/5): Great day celebrating a 50th Birthday with friends, location was perfect. - Room is very compact but clean and has everything you need, they had free wine and cheese to try on the Saturday night which they apparently put on every Tuesday and Saturdays. This is a location hotel basically as you are in the heart of Covent Garden. The rooms are very small, but as a central London hotel at this price its still worth it, to an extent.

Being put in an attic room up 6 flights of stairs with an injury and being told the good rooms got given out earlier. No lift!!! Room was dirty, stains up the walls, (that looked very suspicious!!) thick dust. Hairs in my bed. Dort on the floor. Widows so dirty I couldn’t see out Fire alarm going off 4 times for over a hour and the staff consistently putting phone down on me. Air condition was stuck on with no way of turning it off and it said it was faulty. Carpet son hallways frayed and tatty, stained and shabby Don’t expect anything nice here It was awful

Amy (9/5): Fantastic!! - The location was perfect, a few feet away from Covent Garden. 24/7 lounge was a nice treat, and the staff there (in fact all of the staff) were wonderful, super friendly and helpful. The rooms were really cool, bigger than expected, very clean and cosy. I was pleasantly surprised with everything and would definitely stay again. A little from construction next door, I do believe, but stopped way before bed time and started at 8am (ish) so not horrendous. Just a few bangs every now and again.

josies947 (8/5): Good hotel but small room - This is a decent hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the location is good and it has a nice feel to it. For the price the room was fine, we knew it wouldn't have a window and would be cramped but it was pretty uncomfortable with 4 of us in a small room. We had an issue with the gas alarm going off in our room at 7am in the morning, the staff were great, they were very apologetic and gave us a free breakfast to compensate for the disturbance. I would stay in one of these chains again but I would ensure I had a room with a window.

No phone in the room to contact reception which is a bit difficult if your room is on the fourth floor with no lift. Beds are very uncomfortable. Feels like lying on a plank. Dit was heel oncomfortabel maar lag buiten de macht van het hotel en het personeel. Werd netjes opgelost door de twee personeelsleden in de nachtdienst en later ook nog naar gevraagd.
