Die Zimmer sowie das Badezimmer sind außergewöhnlich schön – jedes einzelne Detail wirkt durchdacht und besonders, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl und alles war sehr lecker. Der Service war hervorragend – das Team hat immer wieder nachgefragt, ob wir noch etwas brauchen oder uns etwas wünschen, und hat sich wirklich viel Mühe gegeben, damit wir uns rundum wohlfühlen. Das ist ihnen absolut gelungen. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen. So ein wunderschönes Hotel habe ich hier in Agra noch nie erlebt. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und kann es jedem von Herzen weiterempfehlen!

The only annoying thing was the loud extractor fan in the bathroom. The temperature in the bathroom was too warm because the bathroom window would always allow outside air inside and therefore brought in hot air.

The breakfast was good, but i would have liked more choice, e.g, a simple dossa for breakfast instead of many dishes. Sometimes something light is what you want. Ekka is a lovely place and we enjoyed our stay. We just would have liked a menu with options that weren't prix fixe.

The lunch we ate in the hotel restaurant was very average. The so-called street food was bland and consisted of stodgy battered paneer and vegetables. I was surprised to overhear the proprietor telling other guests they were know for their cuisine. Not so sure I would agree with that.

The room didn't have a window but that isn't necessarily a bad thing in Indian hotels as it cuts down noise. Some light residual traffic noise but I slept well.

Die Zimmer und Betten ebenfalls super. Kann ich nur empfehlen für diejenigen die Nicht immer in Marriot oder Hilton wohnen möchten.

• Susan (9/5): Relaxed stay not 5 star but was everything we needed for a couple of nights - Comfortable rooms in what seems to be a converted house. Staff were very accommodating, and the food on the premises was fine. Like most people, we were only in Agri to visit the Taj Mahal, but we did take a couple of tours organised by the hotel. They were probably a bit expensive, but we particularly enjoyed the trip out to the farming area by the Taj Mahal and enjoyed interacting with the local,s especially the children everythig was ok

Die Unterkunft hat sehr viel Flair und es geräumig. Alles super :)

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with cool towels and refreshing drinks—such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. The hotel’s decor is exquisite, blending elegance with warmth, and the rooms were impeccably styled with delightful extras. My wife especially adored the luxurious body lotion in the bathroom. We dined at the hotel in the evening and were thoroughly impressed—the food was delicious and beautifully paired with a rich Indian red wine, which we’ll definitely be sourcing once back in the UK. Thank you to the team for making our stay so special. We left feeling relaxed, pampered, and very grateful. We couldn't stay longer 😉

• Manisha (10/5): An incredible find and a must stay in Agra! - I was bit sceptical when I booked it thinking that it would be a bit ordinary, but I couldn't have been more wrong. This place was not only good value for money, but also a gorgeous place to stay at. We arrived later than expected, so we had dinner at the restaurant there. It was a three-course vegetarian meal with delicious starters and a generously portioned Rajasthani thali for the main. They came back to ask if we wanted anymore food, but we were so full. The breakfast the next day was equally as amazing with omelettes and paranthas along with chai and platters of fruit for each table. We were only one of a few guests in this villa, so the service was very personalised. The only thing I didn't like was how the shower curtain kept sticking to me as I showered. Also, it was a bit old school with individual hot water systems in each bathroom that required switching on to heat the water. I did find that the hot water was a bit patchy, but it didn't matter as we were there in early Autumn and it was very hot outside, so a cool shower was nice.
