• James (8/5): Helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and right off the road. - The breakfast was great. The hotel was clean and the staff was great. This was a perfect stop before the windy roads to Theth. Staff helped us with a crib for our baby. We really appreciate it! Our room didnt look anything like the pictures, but we were still very pleased with our room.

• Jūratė (9/5): Labai graži vieta - Viešbutis yra labai gražioje vietoje tarp kalnų. Kelias iki viešbučio siauras, vingiuotas, bet asfaltuotas ir neskubant ramiai pravažiuojamas. Apie 22 km iki Theth (~50 min). Daug vietų parkingui. Personalas labai malonus tiek registratūroje, tiek restorane. Maitas restorane skanus. Pusryčiai gausūs ir skanūs (gal tik duonos trūko). Viešbučio svečiams yra nemokamas baseinas ir pirtis. Nors atrodo, kad viešbutis gan naujas, bet jau reiktų baldų atnaujinimo (pirmame kambaryje labai girgždėjo lova, bet paprašius gavom kitą, antrame kambaryje minkšta apvali kėdė "pufikas" buvo tik su trim kojelėm vietoj keturių), rankšluosčiai ir chalatai apskurę (vieno chalato diržas vos laikėsi nepasidalinęs į dvi dalis). Baseino langai iš lauko atrodo labai ne kaip, prašosi gerai nuvalomi.

• Laura (9/5): - The hotel is located in an amazing (albeit a bit remote) location, in a valley surrounded by mountains. The room was nice, had everything we needed. Breakfast was rich, with lots of options. The restaurant area is also beautiful, spacious, with large windows overlooking the mountains. The water in the pool was a bit cold, not too comfortable to get in, but OK once you got used to it. Also the water in the shower in our room didn't drain properly, we had to turn the water off during the shower, otherwise the water would flood the entire bathroom. The bathrobes provided had seen better days...

• Klara (8/5): Ok - Die Lage ist sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind ziemlich klein Das Badezimmer ist bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen dennoch völlig ausreichend. Die Lüftung im Badezimmer ist ziemlich laut. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Das Abendessen ist etwas zu teuer für seine Qualitat. Der Kellner kommt schwer in die Gänge dennoch hat er mich beim Frühstück mit Apfelsaft überrascht nach welchem ich am Vorabend gefragt hatte und er ihn nicht da hatte. Das fand ich sehr nett und aufmerksam.

• Miina (10/5): - Had an unplanned stay at Kulla e Bajraktarit, however we were warmly welcomed. The rooms are warm, tidy and modern. The staff is great. Overall, it is a great place to feel isolated yet comfortable.
• Max (10/5): Amazing experience - As always I loved my stay at Kulla e Bajraktarit again. The views are incredible, the pool & sauna were so relaxing, just what we needed after a long day of hiking. The breakfast had great options, I especially loved the petulla with honey or jams (Traditional Albanian Pancakes) as the very nice Administrator Fiona explained to me. Amazing staff very welcoming and happy to help. I’ll definitely be coming back on every of my next trip to Albania

• Edmond (8/5): In general it was a great stay. - Loved the service, great location the view was fantastic. Loved it that it had a swimming pool great to enjoy with the whole family and the water was amazingly warm. The steam room topped it all up fantastic. The food was good but needed to be served warm, at dinner and breakfast time food got served cold. Would have liked for the pancakes to be warm as they would have been enjoyed more.

• Caitlin (6/5): - Beautiful location in the the alps! Good customer service, we had to leave early the next morning so they provided us with a big takeaway breakfast! Staff also came up to make the fire for us in our fire place. Food was good We thought we had paid through bookings, however we were unable to pay upon booking and when we arrived at the hotel when we made payment the hotel was more than advertised! The hotel looked beautiful but didn’t feel finished. We were kept up all night due to the wind funnelling down the fire place, making the door rattle loudly all night! The sauna was not hot enough, but the steam room was lovely!

• Irina (9/5): Cozy hotel on the way to Theth - This cozy mountain hotel has a great location - about a 40-minute drive to Theth. The rooms are on the smaller side but overall comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of eggs, vegetables, and fresh fruit. There’s free parking right next to the hotel, which was very convenient. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious! The large fireplace in the center of the dining room created a very warm and cozy atmosphere. Overall, the prices for food were reasonable! The spa area is quite small and could use some renovation. Also, the indoor pool had a strong chlorine smell, which was a bit unpleasant.

• Karen (7/5): good but not 4 stars - friendly staff, beautiful view on the mountain side, not too noisy, room can be made relatively dark, comfortable bed, plenty of parking, big swimming pool, decent breakfast buffet sauna didn't work during my stay (sauna was the reason I chose this hotel), some details were missing (had to reach just a bit too far for toilet paper because no holder, water came out under shower, no towels in wellness area, not much space to put clothes, would've been nice to have some yoghurt and muesli at breakfast, ...)

Die Betten sind sehr gemütlich. Das Doppelzimmer war sehr groß. An der Bar bekommt man gratis Zitronenwasser. Badezimmer: Starker Abflussgeruch. Die Badewanne war nicht im Boden verankert und die Überlaufgarnitur war abgebrochen. Fliesenfugen waren großteils verschimmelt. Spa: Beißender chemischer Geruch im Spa-Bereich. Nach kurzem schwimmen brennende Augen und Haut. Komplett korrodierte Armsturen, Geländer, Lampen, Heizkörper. Salpeter an den Wänden. Kein direkter Zugang zum Aussenbereich. Sauna wurde nicht warm. Sauna und Dampfbad ist unattraktiv ohne Licht und Ambiente im Keller verbaut. Stehende Luft und Feuchtigkeit. Restaurant: Sehe hohe Preise. Es darf und wird im Restaurant geraucht. Lage: Ohne Auto kaum erreichbar. Wenig schöne Wanderziele in direkter Umgebung.

• Jianna (4/5): Beautiful hotel with stunning views and great amenities, but our stay was overshadowed by a stressful double-payment iss - We stayed here during our trip to Theth, and at first, I thought this was going to be my favorite hotel of the entire trip. The property is absolutely beautiful, with a great location, spacious rooms (ours even had a bathtub), and stunning mountain views. The pool, sauna, and spa were wonderful, and breakfast was an impressive spread—fresh, delicious, and included in the stay. The whole place felt cozy, and while we were there in summer, I can only imagine how magical it must be in winter. The staff members we met were kind, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a major issue with payment. On the first day, we were told our payment hadn’t gone through because of internet issues, so we paid again the next day. Later, we discovered we had actually been charged twice—once on the first day, and again on the second. What followed was almost a month of back-and-forth, involving our banks and managers, because the hotel insisted they had “no record” of receiving the first payment. But when money leaves your account, it has to go somewhere, and eventually, it was admitted and reimbursed. While we did eventually get our money back, the process was stressful, exhausting, and extremely disappointing. What could have been a flawless stay at a beautiful hotel was tainted by this situation. It left us wary about how payments are handled here, whether due to accounting system errors or something else. In summary: the hotel itself is stunning, cozy, and full of potential—but future guests should double-check their payment receipts and statements carefully. I truly hope the management resolves these issues, because otherwise this could have been a perfect stay. Tried to double charge us

Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und traditionell, mit schöner Architektur und einer großartigen Veranda mit Blick auf die Berge. Das Essen ist köstlich und typisch albanisch. Sehr zu empfehlen!

• Jean-francois (10/5): - L'hôtel est au calme le long de la route Il n'y a rien autour. Pas de sentiers de randonnée. Le personnel est super sympa et professionnel. Le calme de la partie spa La chambre est plutôt petite selon moi. Je n'ai pas vu de climatisation mais ce n'est pas forcément gênant vu l'altitude.
