Guest Reviews
- Ahmed (10/5): -
- David (10/5): - Lokalita

- Douglas (10/5): The view of the pyramid from the hotel is amazing. - The view of the pyramid from the hotel is amazing. The room is comfortable, and the bathroom is clean, making it a great value-for-money hotel. The staff, Essam and Muhammad, are very helpful and always ready to assist, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I can't comment on the breakfast as it starts at 8:30, and I left the hotel before that time. But the menu was good.
- Moinuddin (10/5): Awesome experience with View of Pyramids - I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
I was staying here on the basis of the recommendation given by my friend who already visited this place before and the experience was truly justified.
The place is very neat and clean and very much closer to the Pyramids area.
Essam and his uncle (hotel owner) were very kind, supportive and helpful just like a family and made me feel like home.
Essam, my brother is also a professional photographer...He took some very good photos and videos of me at the terrace with the Pyramids in the background...
He helped me plan my visit to the Giza Pyramids and the Saqqarah, Memphis and Dahsur guided tours and gave me very good, reasonable and affordable package with English speaking driver and guide who helped me avoid the scammers at the place and I really enjoyed my time at these places and good some good photos to create long lasting memories.
Essam also helped me arrange my favourite food Syrian Shawarma, Bahlah Khajoor Shake, Koshary and Mix Kebab Platter. It was very very delicious.
He also took me on his bike and showed me around the place which I really appreciated.
I also extended my stay for 1 night more at this hotel.
Rusha helped prepare some very good breakfast - Eggs, Falafel, Aish.
I loved my stay at this hotel and even
I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.
- Sayed (1/5): Sleeping with beauty - The place smells like sleeping with camels in one room...My family and I had a headache. The smell is everywhere inside and outside the hotel. The cleanliness and service. There is no breakfast or anything....There is only a beautiful panorama but you can go to the restaurant next to the hotel maybe the panorama is better but the smell is everywhere ... The smell of camel is everywhere
- Ahmed (10/5): The ultimate pyramids experience - The staff
The view
The value
👍 The smell
- Jo (10/5): Fantastic couldn't have asked for more - The staff were expectional and went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Breakfast was good with the best view of the pyramids you could wish for. They upgraded our room for free which was wonderful and much appreciated. Excellent location for the pyramids and were able to offer tours if required as well as providing excellent advice for our visit including ways to keep oursleves safe. They have become our second family. Pillows a little to hard but this is a personal preference
- Miral (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sadie (8/5): Very good -
- Amr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katrina (4/5): Disappointing -
- Mohammad (10/5): Exceptional - The location and the view from this hotel is exceptional! Especially at night. Love it
- Valdospino (10/5): Wonderful Pyramid View - I really enjoyed in this hotel, the room is comfortable, the AC works wonderfully, after a day exploring the city you can just arrive and refresh yourself
The pyramid view it’s amazing… you can just sit in the terrace to enjoy the breakfast or at anytime just sit there and contemplate the wonderful complete view
The GM… Adam is great, really kind and is always keeping you safe from anything
Really recommended
- Erika (10/5): Exceptional - The people, Adam and the rest of the staff are INCREDIBLE!!! Ashur was our guide to Saqqara, Memohis and the Pyramids. We had AMAZING lunch included in our tour. Breakfast was very nice with an AMAZING view. On our way back from our tour we had to leave to Cairo and as we had already checked out that morning, Adam allowed us to shower in a room. I cannot recomment this place enough. I hope you will visit!! Everything was PERFECT!
- Giovannibattista (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jackson (8/5): Excellent place, close to pyramids and lots of places to eat nearby and enjoy the view - Great view of pyramids - owners were very friendly and welcoming and always made extra effort to help organise trips or make local recommendations
- Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Boris (10/5): Exceptional - Responsible and friendly staff.
Quite varied and pleasant breakfast. In Giza - a lot of people asking for money.
- Venkat (8/5): Very good -
- Silke (8/5): Gutes Preisleistungs Verhältnis, wer mehr will, muss mehr zahlen - The location is great, just infront of Abou Hall, the Pyramids, every evenining a great show. Nice balcony. But take care you dont get a room without a window, it is a disaster and so bed smell. Pay more and take a better room. The breakfast was ok, little bit dirty on the talbes, and they serve it so late. but was ok. The owner tries his best. The room without window, the noisy around, it is a very noisy place at Abou Hall, No toilet paper. you run after piece of soap.
- Nahid (1/5): Bad -
- Mahrous (8/5): Very good -
- Jaymar (7/5): Good -
- Simona (3/5): No happy - The view was beautiful. The boy who sells souvenirs outside the hotel was very kind, he was the only one who made himself available without ever asking for a tip, his name is Adamo and he is truly an exceptional person, you can trust him, buy souvenir only with him ❤️ The hotel sold me tours for $300, but they actually cost much less. And the tour guide who gave me the hotel instead of letting me visit what I paid for, only took me to places like jewelry stores, perfumeries and papyrus shops where he had profits, his only interest was to make me spend money where he wanted . But he didn't explain anything about the place to me. My room was full of cockroaches and was not clean. Everyone asks for a tip for every little thing.
- Milburn (6/5): Pleasant - Amazing view from the roof top. The staff were really nice (offered a tour but genuinely not pushy, we did it MUCH cheaper with a taxi).
The breakfast (on the roof) was tasty, but better coffee would be nice. Our room (3rd floor) must have a tin roof above it, cats (at least we hope they were cats) were running around on it all night so didn't sleep well.
- Kuba (8/5): Very good - Great location to visit the pyramids and watch the lights how from the roof
Run by very friendly people - Adam is a great host
People complaining about noise and smell didn't do their research on Cairo it seems
Great value for $15/night
- Thomas (10/5): You treated us like family, we will be back insha'Allah! 🇪🇬 - Trip of a lifetime staying at TuT Pyramid View! Adam took excellent care of us over our first 4 nights and then put us straight back in beautiful room 301 when we returned to Giza from an excursion to Luxor.
Please go straight to Adam to get your guides at a fair price and listen closely to his advice in order to avoid any monkey business at the pyramids.
Inclusive breakfast with an incredible view of one of the 7 wonders, highly recommend the food and mangokiwi shisha next door at El Habada also for the pyramid light show in the evening.
- Yen (3/5): Poor - I was deceived about the airport transfer fee. Before departure, I inquired about the cost of round-trip airport transfer and was told it would be $20 for one way. I even confirmed with the provider that since I needed both pick-up and drop-off, it would be $40. However, upon arrival at the hotel, they claimed that their vehicle had to go back and forth to the airport, so they demanded $20 * 4 = $80. They refused to acknowledge the message they sent me beforehand. This situation made me feel very uncomfortable.
- Stamate (9/5): Superb - Location, food, friendly staff A bit smelly due to proximity to camels stable.
- Barber (10/5): Exceptional - I enjoyed staying. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very welcoming. No WiFi in room so had to sit in lobby. Also could use anti slip mats in showers
- Jaromir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, friendly staff, everything just perfect for the price ☺️
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Takashi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Büşra (7/5): Good - The attention of the staff was good, the rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked, we were happy, the view was beautiful. Tea served only in a paper cup seemed expensive to us.:)
- Rohit (6/5): Overall Ok, I got what I paid for. - Next to pyramids. Roof top terrace from where one can enjoy the view to Pyramids. Helpful staff during the stay. I got what i paid for. Quite noisy during the night.
I ordered the airport shuttle but I couldnt locate the driver and after 45 mins of wait and calling hotel (staff told me there is no shuttle bus) I took Uber. However, next morning was forced to pay 10USD for the shuttle which was waiting for me at the airport. Seems there was no coordination between the hotel staff.
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect stay
- Kira (8/5): Very good - The Place has a very good View from a rooftop terrace to Pyramids and Sphinx.
Clean bed and toilet. Good breakfast.
Friendly and helpful personal. Thank you Alles ok, I missed only a couple hooks for bath towels ;-)
- Khrisiel (7/5): Good -
- Martin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Natalie (1/5): Bad -
- Karima (1/5): dishonesty and lying - Nothing Everything, we made a reservation through booking, received a confirmation mail from them and we called them when we were on our way to the hotel when we arrived after 8 hrs travel they told us that there is no room for us.
we called booking customer service and when they checked with the hotel, they LIED and told Booking representative that they showed us the room and we didn't like it and left the hotel.
- Ajmalmobile (7/5): Nice view of the Pyramids when breakfasting or dining! - The exceptional view of the Pyramids from the restaurant zone!
The hôtel is also at walking distance to the entry of Pyramids, to some tourist shops and a few restaurants, Pizza Hut, KFC, Chinese and of course Egyptian (you can also order through the hotel). But you must accept to walk alongside horses, camels, sollicitations vendors, which is all the charm of Egypt! -
- Taha (7/5): Good -
- Alicja (9/5): Superb - Pyramids view and the best breakfast lady! She made my whole stay just like at home. Thank you! Wifi is lagging
- Mohamed (9/5): Superb -
- Mohamed (9/5): Superb -
- Juan (3/5): Crap hotel with a nice view - The view of the pyramids is stunning The room wasn’t clean, and the entire hotel felt dirty. What was the worst is the lack of internet. We had to stay at the reception to get some WiFi as the signal was poor in the room. It was informed to the staff yet nothing was done
The breakfast is not how it looks in the pictures, and we had to wait a lot for the cleaning lady(who also cooks) to prepare the breakfast.
- Santos (7/5): the best view of the Pyramids! - the terrace, rooftop is the best of all places! you see the entire region of the pyramids with nothing in front of it, completely free! It was from there that I saw one of the most incredible sunsets of my life Some issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom and the tables at the breakfast place. As in many places in Egypt, there are many flies and the strong smell of pee and poop from camels and horses, as it is the main street.
- Giorgos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nivethan (9/5): Superb -
- Hesham (5/5): Passable -
- Bello (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandeep (5/5): Passable - View of the pyramids is good from the terrace. The light and sound show can be enjoyed from the terrace. Too much hassle also in the hotel.
Bath towels, toiletries were provided only after multiple requests and the towels were dirty and torn. Had to buy our own finally!
Breakfast was served very late and was just ok.
- Halil (1/5): This is terrible place. - Only terrace It's a scary place. There was a bad smell everywhere all day. There was no window in the room I stayed in and there was no running cold water. The taps are faulty. Only the terrace is nice. I do not recommend it.
- Aleksandra (10/5): Perfect stay and view - My second time here and was amazing again. Comfortable room, nice staff and amazing terrace with beautiful view of pyramids. Locations is perfect, everything very close. Highly recommended for the price.
- Czenik (10/5): Best place to stay in Giza - Lovely staff, clean rooms, great terrace with views. Wifi connection
- Mahmoud (10/5): Exceptional - The stay at the Tut Hotel was good and the hotel staff was good about the hotel reception desk Dunya
- Amer (1/5): The hotel cancelled my reservation without informing me - Nothing The hotel was really bad. They canceled my booking without telling me. When I got there, they said my reservation was off, and I had to find another place to stay.
- Mahmoud (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bilal (8/5): Very good - View is Awsome Perfect Breakfast
- Aliyeva (8/5): Very good -
- Eliza (2/5): Only for tough guys - Close to pyramid complex. Air conditioning was working. Room and entire hotel was really dirty. Windows probably were never cleaned and curtains haven't seen washing machine in their entire life. Fridge and tv was broken. Taking shower without flip flops would be extreme sport. Breakfast was poor and always late. Street in front of the hotel covered with horse and camels excrements.
- Mark (10/5): Amazing for the price 🌟 - The place was amazing. The lovely lady behind the front desk was one of the most hospitable, amazing, kind-hearted Egptian women I have met since I have been here. Adam who worked there was also very nice, very accommodating and very helpful. The room was very comfortable, best sleep since I have been here. The view .... WOW amazing! Alllll for the small price of just over 20 UK pounds for the night!!!!!!!
Any bad reviews on here must be from brain dead people who expect too much.
I would definitly recommend and will hopefully be back soon.
Thank you 💓
- Felicia (1/5): I didn't stay there - Near the horse stables The smell and no elevator
- László (1/5): Bad - Close to the pyramids Really dirty bathroom, horses and sheeps in front if the hitel with their smell, unpleasant surroundingbarea and streets even compared to Cairo...
I left the hotel immediately with my family
- Damiien_s (1/5): Bad -
- Spase (3/5): Don't recommend - The view and the guy Adam who was very helpful. It was very dirty. The bathroom was horrible. The walls were falling a part from condensation.
- Frank (7/5): You get what you pay for plus
good location - Location, value!
If you want to be front row to the pyramids and don't mind its antedeluvian character, this can be your place! A bit run down
- Aj (7/5): Good -
- Lucas (10/5): Good location, nice staff, everything you need. - Good location, the pyramids are on the other side of the street. Adam and all the staff are really friendly and helpful, really felt like home. Definitely going back.
- Yezid (2/5): A cheap place. However, uncomfortable. - Good location, roof top view. The place needs a deep cleaning, the sheets and pillows were dirty, bad smell coming from outside. Breakfast took long to be served and it was not good.
- Takeshi (10/5): Good - place is the best.
The room is clean too.
Breakfast starts at 8 oclock.
I can’t eat it because the entrance time to the pyramids 7 oclock. Near road is dasty.
- Pol (10/5): Excelente - This hotel has got the best views of the Giza Pyramids of El Cairo. And also a good price to stay during the days.
The man who works here (Adam) is very friendly and a person that you can trust and help you during the day.
Also he knows a lot about the city and can advise you on what to visit, where to eat… -
- Ashraf (7/5): Good -
- Shams (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (5/5): Cheap for one night but do not stay longer than 2 - It’s right next to the stables so it smells of horses and poo. Is on a poor part of Giza with nothing to do around and people begging for money Very slow internet, old. In bad location
- Dane (6/5): Pleasant - Roof top view was amazing. Good location if you want to stay next to the pyramids. Street was noisy and next to the horse/camel stables. Not many food options in town. The town is also a tourist trap so you can’t walk more than 10 feet outside with vendors or taxi drivers yelling at you.
- Shereen (1/5): Bad -
- Norm (1/5): Bad - Nothing at all was likeable. Found out from another guest after seeing his room that we were out into "very old and dirty part" of hotel. It was disappointing and disgusting. I have stayed in a lot of countries and hotels, this rates way down the bottom
- Deb (5/5): Passable - Close to pyramids and sphinx Bathroom was dirty, there was nowhere to sit except the bed.
