Franklin (10/5): Tucked away among the chaos is this hidden gem of a hotel - Loved our stay at La Passion Hotel Hanoi! The bathroom and beds were daily made and kept clean. Bella, Sara and Tom were so kind and helpful check in to check out. The little departing gift was such a sweet touch. If you’re visiting Hanoi for few night I’d Highly recommend! There’s Airport transfer available with the hotel which on Grab can be similar price along with Tolls (that Grab does not approximate in the app) The guest slippers looked used and I’m not a fan of the see through/blinds in the bathroom that overlooks the bed. The room might be a bit small to move around a lot. But we were barely staying inside anyway.

Regula (9/5): - Super friendly staff. I felt welcomed. Location wise there cannot be much better. Stores and restaurant and and and are close by. Hoa Kiem Lake is a short 3 minute walk. Elevator music in restaurant, It tends to be noise from the street. So if you are a light sleeper come prepared.

Idéalement situé en plein centre-ville, l'hôtel permet d'accéder facilement à pied à la plupart des attractions principales d'Hanoi. Dès notre arrivée, le personnel nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux et attentionné, nous prodiguant des conseils avisés et des astuces de voyage utiles tout au long de notre séjour. L'hôtel lui-même est absolument charmant. Notre chambre était très spacieuse, confortable et offrait une vue magnifique. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, avec un large choix de produits frais, notamment des fruits, des jus de fruits frais et des œufs préparés à la demande. Petite mention particulière pour les réceptionnistes, Rosa et Bella, ont été d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Elles nous ont même offert une petite douceur locale en guise de cadeau d'adieu, ainsi que quelques derniers conseils pour notre voyage, une délicate attention. Nous avons également apprécié la possibilité de bénéficier d'un départ tardif moyennant un petit supplément, ce qui nous a permis de profiter davantage de la ville et de nous rafraîchir avant de poursuivre notre aventure. The staff was amazing and helped me booking for me a two days trip outside Hanoi. When I came back, I stayed again there because the location was perfect, right in between Old Quartier and the French one. Easy reachable by taxi, that in that busy area is not always the case.

Jednak największą zaletą obiektu jest przemiły personel. Starah, Bella i Tom przyjęli nas wspaniale, dbając o wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy. Zorganizowali nam też wycieczki premium, dzięki czemu podczas zwiedzania uniknęliśmy tłumów, a każdy detal jak transport, przewodnik czy statek były fantastyczne.

The room with a city view was spacious, clean, and bright. There was no outside noise. We regret that our stay was so short, but we would recommend this place to everyone. The room size were rather small but comfortable bed. For the price, it's still worth it. The hotel staff even prepared breakfast to go when they knew we are taking a very early flight. Recommended

Dickler (10/5): Amazing - The staff are amazing!! 😁 Old town is noisy at night ( not the hotels fault), but the location is amazing. If you need absolute silence to sleep, I don't think you will find it in Hanoi at all. It seems that construction works go on all night everywhere here in Hanoi.
chuang (1/5): 极差，这辈子都不会再选，booking对于我此次的售后维权非常差，我也不会再使用、booking. - 在我订单有效的前提下，不给我原来预定的房间，21：50我到了给我一个老小老小很破的应该是他们家最低端的房给我，说这一晚算我原房价的8折，请注意我的订单是套房，我寻思太晚了能住我就住，多一事不如少一事，我去看了下发现根本不能住，我就马上说不行，你再换个方案吧，然后磨磨唧唧的又沟通了好久说给我六折还是住今晚这个小房间，我说不是钱的事，是根本住不了啊，然后又是极限拉扯前台不停的跟幕后的人沟通又说那给我换一个酒店，在他们附近，我说能保证跟这个一样档次的嘛？他说不能，我说啊？然后就是车轱辘话了，我们只能提供这个方案了，我当时困得啊，孩子累完了，我爱人都要妥协了，说要不就这样吧，大半夜的去哪啊，我说事情已经这样了，还能糟糕到哪，然后我又说，除非你今晚这间破屋免房费，后两晚保证我住原房，他说不行，今晚这间房要收钱，但是后两晚给我打85折，我爱人就说行吧，实在太晚了，我同意了，结果他算了算，觉得他这个方案比我一开始提出来的当晚免费后两晚正常收要贵，他说不行，按照你最初的方案来，此刻我明白了该酒店毫无契约精神，我怀疑我当晚住了后两天也不会给我原套房，至此已经拉扯3小时我选择退单走人，时间已经是凌晨，这期间还报警，前台讥讽的跟我说你可以找你们的大使馆，我犯得上嘛，利用我们是外国人不好维权来无理取闹，这样的小旅馆早日关门大吉。

Property looks luxurious in the pics, it’s not in reality. Very average set up with low quality furnishing. Sophie (6/5): Goodish - I am torn about this hotel. The first night we stayed in a room on the lower floors, which had a window but only facing an emergency exit. This didn’t allow much sunlight to enter the room, and we felt quite claustrophobic. We requested another room for the second night and were given one easily. It was on an upper floor and much better. The way the staff handled our request was great. I had a rather unpleasant experience at breakfast. The music was pop music, too loud, and often interrupted or changed abruptly. The staff were talking to each other quite loudly as well, which is fine to a certain extent, but it added to the overall noise. After we finished eating, our plates were taken away rather aggressively, and our cutlery was removed even though we were not done with our drinks yet. The breakfast options were okay, but arriving later meant that some items, like the potatoes, looked less fresh. The à-la-carte egg dishes were unseasoned and did not taste very good. The coffee cups were tiny and the options overall not very impressive. On the second day, breakfast was better, and I enjoyed the instant noodle stir-fry and freshly cooked broccoli. The yogurt, however, was only served in tiny containers and had an odd consistency. I am not usually hard to satisfy when it comes to breakfast, but this definitely needs some improvements.

Bella, in particular, was lovely, she made a point to ask about our plans each day, which felt very personal and thoughtful. While overall pleasant, cleanliness could use some attention, as we noticed a bit of mold in the bathroom. The room was also quite noisy—it felt like the windows were open even when they weren’t, probably because of the busy location.

Maryana (5/5): Not for us... - The location was excellent - great for walks, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Most tours also offer free pickup from this area. Our favourite nearby spots were Lang Ong Restaurant (the ribs are exceptional) and the small family run bánh mì shop Bụ Bánh Mì (we had multiple banh mi daily and they were so so good). The staff were very friendly and polite, both at reception and in the restaurant. Although the hotel is located next to a very busy street, there was minimal noise reaching the room, and we were able to get a good night’s sleep. Our main issue with this hotel was its overall condition. The presence of black mold in the bathroom made it extremely unpleasant for me to shower. Even the curtain covering the glass shower wall was moldy, so if you value privacy, be prepared for that compromise. Same with bedsheets - they has some small round black stains. Both the restaurant and room furniture were in poor condition, with chairs visibly stained. The cups and plates in the restaurant didn’t appear properly cleaned - I’ve included a photo of a “clean” cup that my coffee was served in. Breakfast was also disappointing. The omelette was undercooked, there were very limited fresh vegetables without sauces, and the bread did not taste fresh. These cleanliness issues, along with the outdated and poorly maintained furniture, made our stay very unpleasant. Based on previous reviews, we had very different expectations. It’s hard to say whether our standards differ or we were simply unlucky, but unfortunately, this was not the right place for us.
